LET'S GET TO VICTOR WILLIAMS, WHO'S BEEN REACHING OUT TO BOTH DETROIT POLICE AND THE FAA, WHICH IS THE ISSUE WHEN YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT A DRONE, VICTOR. >> YES. THAT'S RIGHT. HELLO DEVIN. SO THE FAA IS SAYING THAT THIS IS SOMETHING THAT'S DEFINITELY NOT OKAY. THE ONLY REASON WHY WE'REBLE TO USE A DRONE RIGHT NOW IS BECAUSE COMERICA PARK IS EMPTY WITH NO EVENT THAT'S GOING ON, BUT AFTER ALL, THIS DID DISRUPT THE CONCERT FOR ABOUT SEVEN MINUTES, LEAVING THE AUDIENCE WONDERING WHAT'S GOING ON AFTER, YOU KNOW, A COUPLE OF SONGS, TEN, 15 MINUTES, EVERYTHING JUST HEART STOPPED AND I WAS KIND OF CONFUSED AS TO WHAT WAS GOING ON. >> I LOOKED AROUND AND THEN I ACTUALLY DID LOOK UP AND NOTICED A DRONE FLYING OVERHEAD. PEOPLE AT THE GREEN DAY CONCERT WEREN'T EXPECTING THE BAND'S PERFORMANCE OF LONGUE VUE TO BE CUT SHORT DUA DRONE FLYING IN THE SKY. >> YOU KNOW, A LOT OF LOOKING AROUND, A LOT OF CONFUSION, YOU KNOW, SOME PEOPLE GOT TO GET OUT OF WHERE I'M AT. >> OTHER PEOPLE, WHAT'S GOING O? >> WORD SPREAD QUICKLY ON SOCIAL MEDIA ABOUT THE INCIDENT, SHOWING THE BAND SUDDENLY GETTING OFF THE STAGE. >> I WAS JUST KIND OF CONFUSED ABOUT WHY EVERYTHING WOULD STOP CONCERTS AND SHOWS DON'T STOP UNLESS THERE'S SOMETHING THAT'S GOING TO CREATE A RISK OR A SAFETY FACTOR. >> FORMER DPD ASSISTANT CHIEF STEVE DOLAN SAYS. IT'S ACTUALLY A MAJOR SECURITY CONCERN CONSIDERING THE TIMES WE'RE IN. >> WHOEVER DID THIS WAS AN ADULT OR A KID THINKS THAT I CAN THROW A DRONE UP THERE, MAYBE FILM THE CONCERT. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN? WELL, YOU'RE SCARING THE HECK OUT OF ALL THESE CONCERT GOERS AND THE SECURITY PEOPLE. WITH EVERYTHING GOING ON WHEN THE POLICE CAME AROUND, THE PERSON OPERATING THE DRONE WAS DETAINED, BUT NO ARRESTS WERE EVER MADE. >> THE INVESTIGATION HAS NOW BEEN REFERRED TO THE FAA. I'M GLAD THEY ARRESTED OR DETAINED HIM. >> WHATEVER ARREST OR WHATEVER. I'M GLAD THEY TOOK THE PRECAUTIONS FOR THE CONCERT. I'M SURE GREEN DAY IS HAPPY THAT EVEN THOUGH THEY RUSHED OFF THE STAGE, I'M SURE THEY'RE HAPPY AND I'M SURE THE FANS, ONCE THEY REALIZE WHAT HAPPENED, ARE PLEASED. >> THE FAA SENT US THIS STATEMENT REGARDING THE INVESTIGATION, WHICH READS, QUOTE, THE FAA INVESTIGATES ALL REPORTS OF POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS DRONE OPERATIONS. ALTHOUGH THE AGENCY DOES NOT HAVE CRIMINAL PROSECUTION AUTHORITY, DRONE OPERATORS WHO ENDANGER OTHER AIRCRAFT OR PEOPLE ON THE GROUND CAN FACE FINES THAT EXCEED $30,000. LIVE FROM COMERICA PARK.
