really cool offers all right so moving on to Ally so an ally account is considered a mandatory account to have if you're doing anything in the bank account bonus World um you need to move money from one place to another back and forth the superpower of an ally account is you can link up to 20 different bank accounts and transfer funds to and from them uh so Ally is what I call the best Hub account ever um 20 accounts that you can connect to them and instead of dealing with uh sometimes I've been really annoyed you sign up for a small Credit Union for their uh bonus and then you want to move your money out of there and they're like no you can only do $500 a day it's like no no no you just save yourself the trouble use allly to to push and pull your money away from them and you don't about the easiest one it's not the fastest one but it is the easiest one so there's a spending U sorry savings account bonus a spending account bonus which is uh your checking account and then there's a brokerage account bonus a uh investment account bonus so we're going to look first at the savings account and then you can decide which one is best for you so they have a 4.2% uh apy uh on all balanced tiers there's no minimums there's no maximum amount to have in there just however much you have in there in the savings account you make 4.2% no Hoops to jump through to get that excuse me all right so steps dur your $100 welcome bonus uh enroll in our referral program basically you got to click my link actually click the enroll uh after you click the link uh open up a new Ally Bank savings account uh within 30 days of enrollment uh set up within your new account and start a qualifying monthly automated recurring transfer within 30 days of account opening you got to do at least three back to back monthly automated recurring transfers uh you got to transfer money into allly and you'll get your $100 welcome bonus within 30 days of receiving your third recurring transfer so um yeah there's that um there is no minimum amount to automatically transfer so I would transfer at least $1 so literally you can turn three transfers of a dollar you turn three bucks into 100 which is nice this option is the easiest but it has to be done for 3 months so keep in mind the program requires you to complete your automated uh automated recurring transfer into your newly open Ali savings account at least once a month for 3 months in a row so how to set up an automatic recurring transfer glad you asked here's a tutorial on that so what you want to do is when you get into your Alli account you want to click uh go to transfer and then go to bank transfer and for example if you have a Chase bank account which I have mine set up because you got to transfer 500 minimum to the Chase account to keep uh away from the $12 month fee so you want to go like from whatever account to uh going to the savings account so you pick whatever and the limits are ridiculous you won't run out of limits I can promise you that and then where it says one uh frequency one time transfer you want to well you want to make sure goes the transfer needs to go to allly account and then uh where it says uh frequency one time transfer you want to hit that and then when it you're going to see a pull down menu and it's going to you want to have it every month so uh whatever amount I put a th000 just put a random number on there frequency every month and what day do you want it delivered so and then end when I cancel um so basically there's just automatic stuff you want to do like money two Chase and then like you've plan on use that your checking account the pay off credit cards or whatever then you don't want to pull it back but anyway um so there's different ways to automate that all right so anyway so you want to make sure you do this for 3 months when I cancel to to let it go at least put a dollar in there all right so that's the easiest option you can turn $3 into 100 I mean you can't tell me oh that's too hard no it's not you know so all right so then there's the checking account bonus which is called the spending account there is you can get paid up to 2 days faster no monthly maintenance fees which is a huge plus access to 43,000 All Point uh so basically here it says within 30 days you got to set up and receive a qualifying direct deposit within 60 days after the account opening and then you get paid within 30 days after that so um here's what that looks like there is no minimum direct deposit mentioned so I clicked on there's frequently Asked question then there's a term terms and condition and the only thing really says it's got to be a qualifying direct deposit so there is no minimum on here I can't see that anywhere I looked at it on on on every bit of fine print I could find and I don't see it I couldn't be missing it but just says it's got to be like from an employer payroll uh benefits payer um so there's that or you can do the um let me go back here so self-directed trading which is the investment account which in and of itself this is really not a bad bonus so you got to transfer $1,000 and then um or you can do multiple to get within uh to have $1,000 or more within 60 days and then you'll get your uh welcome bonus within 30 days of your account reaching a th so um that's a 10% bonus on um on your $1,000 uh bonus on there on your deposit so frequently ask questions and you can also look at the terms and conditions I couldn't see any minimum for the direct deposit so you can turn like a $10 direct deposit into a $100 bonus so how do I qualify you got to enroll through the uh friends personal referral link no later than December 31 2024 open a qualifying individual joint Ally saving spending or invest account uh within 30 days of enrollment then complete the required steps depending on the Bel eligibility eligible product you open so can you open any type of account no it doesn't work with a credit card or home loan or auto loan or money market or CD it only works for the checking the savings and the invest account how do I know if I was successful in enrolling in the welcome bonus uh if you open a new eligible Ally account or Ally invest account using friends link you will receive a confirmation email to the email address you use to enroll um you can only get one bonus the enrollment is good for 30 days from when you enroll uh when will I get my $100 welcome bonus you'll get it within 30 days will Ally tell my friend if I open an account no I have no idea who opens and who doesn't if I open up an account any other way can I still receive the bonus no you have to use the referral link uh how do I set up a qualifying uh direct deposit well uh you go to direct deposit to direct deposit page set up automatically you can also use a pre-fill form or send in your uh like my school district is not on any uh direct deposit set up automatically I got to automatically set it up through my HR how do I set up the qualifying direct uh transfer so basically I already went over this one it's got to be at least um it's got to be you got to complete an automatic referring transfer into key word here is into the newly uh open savings account at least once a month for 3 months so there's that you have to do th000 at once no you can do multiple tranches in order to get to $1,000 or more will I get paid for opening up multiple accounts no it's one and done can I receive this welcome bonus if I'm already a customer no um if you shut down your account uh uh if you'' had uh if you shut down your account before June 1 2023 then you're good to go if you shut it down afterwards I never plan on shutting down my li account they're just too good of an account so there's that the last day you can do this is
