last couple days been like internally trying to reset not just from the result but from um picking up the mentality and the intensity and all yeah that's all we can do um yeah we're doing our best you know we looked at some some videos and stuff from the game seeing what we can improve on and uh yeah I think we really just want to um you know play a good game tomorrow and really put things right after after the tough result I remember you talking after the friendly loss at know this is years ago now the team was in a similar spot there certain in limbo between Coes um he talks about how that may have impact the team then how do you think that that sort of in between the phas and now is manifested with yeah I think uh I think I think it can be tough in in times like this but you have to keep going you have to keep the mentality of the group strong and and and you have to be uh you know we don't want to just look at this as you know we're in between so the games don't matter we want to take it serious I think the guys are in a good are in a good place now we you know um tough result again but we we need to respond and and we need to show that uh you know no matter who the coach is that we're willing to fight and we're willing to give the best for this country and that we want to win games that idea of fighting and winning games it feels like trying to get to that base you know how you play style of play will change game to game even at some points is is there is that something that you guys can talk about to instill or is there something that has to kind of go down to an individual level on kind of that idea yeah of course you can you know you can talk about it so much you can train it so much but it's something at the end of the day that comes from within I think um you know once game time hits um you know you can talk like like I said as much as much as you want but it's who's going to go out on the field and who's going to step up and who's going to you know not be afraid to get into a hard tackle to show to show that they're there and uh yeah um so it's it's a mix of both obviously you can talk about it but um yeah it needs to come from within you said um after the game the other night that you know all it takes one performance or one moment to kind of give a team its confidence back um I know the announcement we're still waiting for it but Martino is a pretty big name he's well known for the success he's had in in the sport do you think having a coach of that profile coming in can inject an energy and a confidence back into base and maybe even within the group itself yeah I mean of course look we're we're still um there's no announcement yet we're still we're still waiting on um on everything I think right now all we can do is put ourselves in the best position so that if an announcement is made in the near future that that uh that we're ready um that we're confident going into to yeah the next step and for this Federation uh so all we can do is focus on the game tomorrow in general terms there's usually a new coach bounce whenever someone someone comes in are you you anticipate that that'll happen based on your experience having gone through coaching change for the uh yeah I think I think yeah sometimes when when uh when someone new comes in um yeah it gives everyone a bit of an extra push and say you know what I need to I need to show a little bit extra I need to you know give a good first impression is always really important of course I've gone through a lot of changes in my in my career so um yeah I think it can it can change a lot of you know a little bit of the mentality a little bit of the yeah the culture at the club so um hopefully it's going to be a positive what do you expect tomorrow's game to look like cuz obviously it's less about tactics or showing new wrinkles and more so about kind of showing you guys to took the other day a little bit personally and showing that so like when you come out tomorrow what do you what do you expect that to look like and and how do you expect this game to kind of be played even though it is a front yeah I mean it's you're going to see a team that's that you know is hungry and is is not happy about the last result is going to want to go out and fight and um take this game very seriously so um it's an opponent who's not going to give it to us um it's going to be it could be a tough matchup so um we need to yeah we need to be at our best tomorrow and and hopefully some guys that are that are really going to step up been a few new faces in Camp how do you feel like they've integrated guys like Fox yeah um it's been great um obviously yeah I've got to meet some some new guys and uh yeah I mean they they fit right in with the group um yeah like you said Marlon's been great um and yeah Patrick as well I mean showing up in the game although it was a tough game I feel like he he stood out he had some really good some really strong moments so um it's nice to see and I think uh yeah it's only going to benefit this team to have to have more more great options
