I PREDICTED EVERY AFC NORTH TEAM’s RECORD - Ravens, Bengals, Steelers and Browns

Intro all right welcome back into the channel and welcome in for the continuation of my NFL divisional preview in prediction Series today we may be entering the best division in all of football that is the AFC North your Steelers your Ravens your Browns and your Bangles if you guys want a more in-depth breakdown of any of these teams check out the description I got 15 to 25 minute long breakdowns for all of your squads now already posted on the channel but without without further Ado enough yapping let's hop in to these divisional predictions finishing in fourth in this Division I have the Pittsburgh Steelers 4th Place with a record of 9 and8 yes Mike Tomlin still doesn't have a losing season but I have Pittsburgh at the very back end of this division in 2024 I have to pref this with the fact that I do no longer believe that this team will be acquiring Brandon iuk I think we are too far deep into all the preseason games are over the 49ers know that they got to contend this year I just think that the deal is not going to happen at this point in time Pittsburgh roster as you see it is what it is going to be at least for the premise of these predictions if a Brandon iuk deal happens and I'm recording this at 1:8 p.m. Eastern on August 27th I pushed P it off as long as I could I can no longer anymore if they go out and get Brandon auk though I will say this it could get them an additional win and get them into the playoffs I'm willing to say I think IU could revolutionize their offense that much however without him in one of the better divisions in all of football I see this team as a fourth place Squad and I see them with a 9 and8 record and ultimately the reason I'm out on the Steelers so much is they have the worst quarterback room in the division and one of the worst maybe the worst offensive line as well in the division and really those two things go hand in hand to have an unsuccessful season I was a little bit more in on the Steelers when I did their team preview video so if you're coming here from that or you're watching that afterwards just understand I may have readjusted my thoughts on this team slightly because I just didn't see enough out of Russ or Justin fields in the playoffs to give me Excuse me the playoffs the preseason to give me any confidence that this team can make the playoffs because here's the old saying when you have two quarterbacks it means you have no quarterback and that is really what the Steelers are going through here they have two options that are like C minus level guys and in the AFC and especially in the AFC North C minus just is not going to cut it especially behind that offensive line that offensive line was getting bullied by backup defensive ends in the preseason it looked pretty bad and Russell Wilson doesn't have the escapability that he has and or that he once had and Justin fields I think he just doesn't have the ability to stand in the pocket and make the tough throws so I don't think either quarterback is going to succeed in this situation I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a back and forth throughout the season and at the end of the year we go did the Steelers solve their quarterback problem no they didn't and that's not to say that I don't love the rest of this roster because actually I do I think they have a defense with top five upside I mentioned this in their team preview I'll say it again they have an elite level player at all three levels TJ wat Patrick Queen and Minka Fitzpatrick with a ton of really good Defenders surrounding those guys Mike Tomlin is a top 10 head coach in all of the League this is a guy who has not had a losing season in starting quarterbacks for him have been duck Hodes Kenny picket and Mason Rudolph and I get it if that's your argument for the Steelers being a 10 11 win team and making the playoffs I wouldn't be shocked if it happens but I'm just not going to predict it at this point in time the offense is a little inept for me with Russ or fields at the helm that offensive line in some okay skill position players Naji and Jaylen Warren are one of the better running back rooms in the NFL I do think Arthur Smith as an offensive coordinator can work in today's NFL I'm not sure if it does with the quarterbacks there and I like Pickins but outside of him Ray Ray McLoud van Jefferson I mean these are the level wide receivers we're talking about here I actually think McLoud is now in Atlanta but Roman Wilson Van Jefferson it's just not a deep wide receiver room in philadel excuse me me in Pittsburgh but this is why I'm saying that if they got auk things could be different you move auk to that one a guy who could run the short and intermediate routes picking your deep ball guy and then van Jefferson is a third wide receiver option with a FR Mo on the team it makes the offense just a lot better it makes defensive backs have to really respect your pass game and they can't load the Box you can't Blitz that bad offensive line B and iuk really would mean a lot to this team I just don't think that they him at this point in time and without him I just don't think the offense can keep Pace in the AFC and for that I have the Steelers at a 9 and8 record in third place with a record of 3rd Place 10- seven missing the Playoffs I have the Cleveland Browns and here's the thing the AFC North is just an absolute dog fight the AFC as a whole is very competitive that 10- seven actually leads you out of the playoffs and I want to start with this I do make these predictions where as if teams are going to stay fully healthy there's just no predicting who will be hurt yes in the Colts record did I bake Anthony Richardson not playing a full 17 absolutely things like that sure but I don't know if a guy like Anthony Richardson's going to play 14 or four games I'm not going to sit here and predict him to play four so yes Cleveland is probably the first team in once one of the top seven teams for me gets injured inevitably it's going to happen last year it happened with Cincinnati in this division that's why they were at fourth place and that's why Cleveland and Pittsburgh got into the playoffs so Browns fans I know that you who really believe in your team and I get it it is one of the better rosters top to bottom in in the NFL but that is why I have them missing the Playoffs to me the Browns are just a better version of the Pittsburgh Steelers a top five defense a really good head coach you have some good weapons I wouldn't say it's a great weapons room especially with Nick chub coming off of that major injury he is still staying on the pup list and you have a quarterback question mark in Deshawn Watson and then the backups of jamus Winston or Tyler Huntley will see makes it past cut day but if you told me that one of three of Deshawn Watson Russell Wilson or Justin Fields hasn't above average season I'd put the money on Watson and the Browns this is the big difference between them and Pittsburgh their offensive line is a lot and I mean a lot better that's why I have them just passing Pittsburgh an additional win in this very tough Division 10- Seven record for the Cleveland Browns and speaking on deshun Watson does he have that 28 2019 where he you know could have been MVP of the league still in him I don't think so but he has been plagued with injuries since he's gotten to Cleveland is he ever going to get back into that playing shape I feel like if it's going to happen this has got to be the year he's been playing now for two seasons with this team at least training a full training camp you have the weapons they even went out and traded for a Jerry Judy for you Deshawn Watson has to put it together this year for Cleveland or really it's just a bust of a move and honestly you could just say already that it was a bad trade for the Browns but I get it you go all in on a franchise quarterback the tough part is the guaranteed money that is the big what were they doing obviously when it comes to the Shawn Watson contract but the grounds the roster outside of him is good enough if you have to turn to a jamus Winston or a Tyler Huntley I do still think this is an above 500 team they could still win nine games with those guys a quarterback but I think we see more so a full season of Watson he gets his legs under him and he looks better than he did last year but ultimately if the AFC were to stay fully healthy I have the Browns at 10 and 7even before we talk about the top two teams I want to remind you guys to hit that subscribe button if place in this division with a record of 10- seven and being the fifth seed in the AFC playoffs I have the Baltimore Ravens and I get it Baltimore Ravens fans are pounding the table right now what is this guy smoking we were just the number one seed the MVP of the league one of the best team yes but progression in the NFL is not linear just because you reached that last year doesn't mean this has to be the year that the Super Bowl actually happens the team had a decent amount of losses especially on that defensive end of the ball Mike McDonald the defensive Mastermind Patrick Queen Gino Stone Javon Clowney those are big pieces that are moving on from this defense that don't get me wrong Baltimore still has one of the best rosters in the NFL I am not debating you on that but a step back this year seems pretty likely especially on the defensive side of the ball however it could be expected that the offense takes a step forward Lamar Jackson coming off of an MVP year his second year in this Todd monin system which he really showed that he could be a good passer in last year the team is well brings in future Hall of Fame running back Derek Henry who is a better running back than Gus Edwards and JK Dobbins and Keaton Mitchell and whoever the Ravens have had over the last three years running the ball there's still no doubt in my mind about that Mark Andrews comes into the healthy remember he missed time at the end of the year for Baltimore so certain pieces should fill out Z flowers in his second year Rashad baitman whatever you feel about him I don't think he's going to be amazing I actually prefer Isaiah likeley in this receiving game so there's no doubt in my mind it's a good team but Lamar has been known to miss some games here and there last year he was pretty healthy won the MVP what's the odds of that happening two years in a row again like I said earlier in this video when talking about Anthony Richardson I'm not going to predict the guy to missed the whole season but my guess is Lamar ends up playing 14 or 15 games this year and the Ravens may lose one or both of those games with him out and again just for list purposes let me tell you every reason once again that I think the Ravens might regress defensive coordinator Mike McDonald leaves he was you know you could argue the best coordinator in all the football last year defensive pieces and Patrick Queen Geno Stone Javon Clowney and even more left this squad Lamar Jackson very healthy does that happen again I don't know they play a first place schedule compared to the Bengals who are playing a fourth place schedule that matters guys especially when it comes to the regular season and the AFC North overall is just going to be a dog fight you know if this was say the Bengals and Ravens were in a division with the Panthers and Saints then yeah the Ravens are probably an 11 12 win team and the Bengals are probably an 11 12 13 win team that that is just the way that that cookie would crumble but in the AFC and in the AFC North you kind of got to factor in that these games are all going to be dog fights there's no easy walkover team in this Division and Ravens fans if you're still watching let me tell you I do believe you are more of a Super Bowl Contender than the Cincinnati Bengals that doesn't equate to more success over a 17 game Pace but like you saw last year that's not always the be all end all I think Baltimore is a scarier team come playoff T time than anybody else in the AFC North but in terms of regular season standings I have them taking a step back in 2024 that of course does 1st Place mean in first place in this division with an 11- six record and being the fourth seed in the AFC playoffs I have the Cincinnati Bengals yes this is the team that is going to go from worst to First in 2024 there's usually one team that does it it just so happens that this year the Bengals are probably the pretty obvious pick right they have a top five quarterback in Joe burrow a top five wide receiver in Jamar Chase one of the better qu back wide receiver Duos in all of football and if you told me it was the best I wouldn't argue with you they have other really good weapons and T Higgins Germaine Burton and Chase Brown on that offense the offensive line is okay it's fine I think it is serviceable and as well they brought in some Talent on the defensive end they brought in guys like Gino Stone and Sheldon rankins they still have your Trey Hendrickson and your Sam hubard you know with Luan rumo calling things it is always been the case with the Bengals since the Joe burough era that the defense is kind of underrated and I get it they weren't the best last year but last year was kind of a season from hell for the Cincinnati Bengals Joe burrow starts the season with the cap injury finally gets healthy they beat the 49ers in dominant fashion and then boom wrist injury for the guy done for the year with Jake Browning in at quarterback the Bengals still manag to scratch and Claw their way to nine wins yeah I think them jumping up to 11 is highly likely this year if they can get a fully healthy season out of Joe burrow and the same as I said with Lamar and Anthony Richardson that's a big if but even if burrow ends up playing 14 15 games now that you saw what you had in Browning you can kind of be with ease of hey let's play it safe here and with these games coming up against the Panthers and you know the Chargers let's rest the guy a little bit and you could have some confidence that hey in that stretch we could go one andone without Joel burrow people have short-term memory and that's just the way it works with all sports but the NFL I noticed the Bengals are getting slept on everybody says it's still the Ravens division the Ravens are going to own this division they're going to dominate it one I just talked about it but the Ravens lost some pieces but two like let's not forget how good this Bengals team is when healthy they're the only team that didn't have a quarterback named Tom Brady to beat Patrick Mahomes in a playoff game that matters okay the Bengals will be dangerous come playoff time them and the Ravens will both be there them and the Ravens are both Super Bowl contenders But ultimately the playing a first place schedule and the Bengals playing a fourth place schedule was enough for me to give this
