goes on so they're going want to make sure they keep feeding him the football let him get lathered up hand off to the lone back they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one man what a play by that defensive lineman you you could say he was channeling his inner power and that's what defensive lineman do big fast athletic players on the field getting in the back field just beautiful you know you could have shown a little humility there and said all shots or something sh or something really keep they'll crank up this drive with the pass makes his connection and he's brought down after a nice game it's first and 10 from the 31 little touch pass to the receiver we give him a couple on that one second and eight coming up kept it on the ground on first down now back to the line gets it out fast and that defense pushing him out of bounds after a short gain I like this tight end he does a really nice job on his route running he's been beating man coverage he can find the soft spots and zones you got to get him involved on third down going up top quickly complete he's run out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down he's going to pass finds his tight end they make the Stop and that's how the first quarter will end it's been a defensive battle through the first period and the stats tell that tale both sides trying to find a little rhythm and efficiency and move the ball some here as we start the second quarter wide receiver coming across in [Applause] motion looking for space it's cook just a solid stop by this s more yeah and the running back didn't get much here but you know you clearly want to always establish the tempo run the football be consistent make that defense physically meet the [Applause] challenge quick pass on the jet motion inside the 35 and he's knock down but not before moving the chains and the Horned Frogs have it with a first and 10 used the play fake now to throw catch in the middle it's Williams and he's brought down after a nice game inside the 15 first and 10 from the 14 it's a nice job run the in route there by the receiver and the best thing he did after he made his break he didn't Trail and fade away he actually attacked the football that's a good lesson for young receivers out there watching grabbed behind the line it's Richardson touchdown TCU a great catch and run for six so much about the passing game is about timing execution communication and these two that's a virtual textbook there no doubt about it and the receiver making plays for his quarterback being Dependable running the route to the right depth consistently does a great job running this route great result because of it [Applause] coming out on first down with the play fake good timing a two-minute warning and we'll see if the offense can build on this lead before the break and now on second down for this offense he's looking to throw unloads it left nice defensive play to get a hand in there and knock it away couldn't pick it up on second down now they need to couple on third down they'll try to get the first through the air fires to the tight end really nice job there by both guys the throw and the catch to work that def Def and get the first down offense in a bunch formation quarterback checking off the back goes in motion he wants to throw it again quick strike complete and oh he was Off to the Races and they finally drag him down and they'll line up from the 31 on first down motion from the offense they'll throw it on first down they're bringing Heat and the quarterback is toast back at the 35 really need to pick up some yardage this time on second and long he's looking to throw unloads to the W out got his man on the right knocked down for the tackle the horn frogs come to the line in the hurry [Applause] up he'll keep it on the draw they thought they could just run it on Third and short but this defense was there to make the stop there's a Timeout on the field tight game here late in the first comes out throwing on first down buys a little extra time now he'll let one fly down the left side and he's got it touchdown hard frcu and and I love this offense man staying aggressive just because you got the lead you know people can score points in bunches this offense keeps the foot on the accelerator scores again on the final play now this offense has even more of a cushion going into half time [Applause] they'll run the RPO and throw it right he's run out of bounds but not before turning in a big pickup and moving the sticks for a first down big play in the passing game there and I like the receiver gearing down in the zone did a nice job finding the soft spot on defense between the Defenders giving the quarterback an easy target to throw to to compl that throw caught behind the line it's Williams He Stopped just a chain Linker two away from the first down and sets them up beautifully here and they'll come to the line with less than a yard to go takes the hand off it's cook that play just never had a chance a knock him down for a loss of five L is set on third down from the gun wants to pass and it's intercepted a turnover from the defense he was looking for that big return to go with the pick but he'll set him up in business at and it's frustrating they move the tight end all over out of the gun they'll run it inside he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and the horn frogs want to pick up the tempo [Applause] off play action he's got the tight end good pick up there as he gets the first down and they'll Mark him at the 48 here's this offense with a fresh set of downs and that's why they got to keep running the football man because play action is going to be a big part of this game plan you've got to get this this tight end over the middle of the field vertically and give him an opportunity because you just saw how dangerous he is after the catch looking to go up top on first down connection to the right and they'll finally bring him down after he rips off a huge play the horn frogs have it with a first and 10 quarterback will audible fast motion from the offense he wants to throw quick completion on the out route really confident throw and catch there big pickup and they have a first down and the horn frogs looking to take advantage of this Red Zone trip wide out in motion quarterback touch pass on the Jet Sweep they pick up half of it it'll be second and [Applause] five going to work in the Red Zone they can't pick up the first down without getting it into the End [Applause] Zone on second down looking again to throw caught in the back field it's pain and the defense able to would drag him down but not before they'll recycle that down marker the horn frogs line it up with a first and goal nowhere to run on that one he loses four on the care as they get set to snap at time winding down here in the quarter the run up the middle trying to power to the goal line and he's loose and he'll from the gun they'll give it on the inside they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one man down on the play as the officials take a break to let him be checked out didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and 11 wide receiver now comes in motion they'll keep it on the ground to keep this clock moving shakes off the tackle PR good effort on that one to work his way up to the 42 ball is at the 42 yd line close to four down territory here's third and short off the bootleg looking the fire finds the tight end and he couldn't quite get to the marker that's going to bring up a fourth down they [Applause] didn't the offense showing motion from the tight end trying to get a read on the D the give to the tail back and the defense holds firm no pick up at all on that play we've reached a two-minute warning and this offense will be quite content just to drain the rest of the time [Applause] away wide receiver shows motion he'll do it himself he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three timeout called there by the defense desperate to get the ball back and save as much time as possible got quite a ways to go to keep this drive going it's third down from the 45 from the gun running back gets to give defense uses a timeout quickly trying to get that ball back and preserve time for their [Applause] offense the quarterback takes a knee and get a big win here and start the season on a positive note you got to love that as the players you come out you have so much anticipation coming into the season finally getting ready to play in front of audience you're able to come out and execute and get this win under your belt David couldn't be a better way to start the year and for the losing team obviously it's a little bit different you have something to look at now to analyze where do I need to get a little bit better but plenty of time still left in the season to improve and turn it around so that's going
