tooling video part three after capitalization and their path towards an IPO so let's get right to it Current financial conditions the FED just raised interest rates 25 basis points that makes lending more difficult and it makes the hurdle rate for corporations to make a real profit more difficult as well Regional Banks as we shared with as I shared with you last time are still getting hammered we saw the collapse of silk and Valley bang Signature Bank credit sues First Republic and I don't believe it's over yet recall during the great financial crisis it was six months between the collapse of air Sterns and Lehman Brothers we have a lot of water to go over this Dam yet so hold on tight while it's not a great time to go public it's a great time to start a company part two my quick take on the May 4th video from that tarot discussing their production tooling production toy this is tooling where your vehicle is going to be produced from my vehicle the first thing I noticed in this video was Steve and Chris seemed really relaxed in isense they have a keen understanding of their financial path forward at the moment to get this production going that confidence I could feel it and that was a good thing they also showed what US production tooling from Italy production tooling used for your vehicle my vehicle and they mentioned in this vehicle or in this video there's going to be Parts made this summer now they may be a few parts from one tool a few parts from another tool or parts are going to be made this summer they also shared with us in this video and I'll provide a link down below they are now drawing down monies from the California energy Commission 22 million dollar Grant and that Grant does not impact Equity stakeholders it's free money on that they need to perform but it's free money as viewed from Equity shareholders like me um so that's good so they they have this money available to buy these tools to build inventory whatever they need to do as they specify to the energy commission to get this vehicle out the door they also revealed that they have just submitted their application to the US Department of Energy's Loan program office the advanced vehicle manufacturing program now we don't know how much they've requested from Doe but I believe once all the questions from doe are resolved apterra will get the loan request that they asked for again this is going to be very very helpful as they start to build all the tooling all the inventory purchase those parts necessary for production as I mentioned I'll post a link down below so you can watch this video but that those are my highlights Chris and Steve seemed relaxed they showed us production Tooling in Italy um they're drawing money from California energy commission and they that accompany who's going public typically has to make where are we now here's another chart this chart which I've modified a little bit to be representative of bactera shows the leaf under round the series a the series B which we're now in in a series C the next round is going to be a series C round it would be priced higher and in my opinion it might be somewhere is in the order of 75 million to 150 million dollars in size we don't know but series C is in front of us and here's a conversation I had with Terra Motors board member Brian snow I was on LinkedIn discussing with another apparent what I perceived or what I envisioned should be doing right now and that's having conversations with Venture Capital private equity family offices High net worth individuals and institutional investors by TIAA Naveen Fidelity Vanguard Invesco Franklin Templeton etc etc and at the same time they can keep a crowdfunding round open so that you can participate in acterra Motors growth and who chimed in Brian snow at Terra Motors director and he said rich and in fact what you just said we're doing exactly that and that gave me a lot of confidence that Terra Motors is talking to the right
