here in La after spending seven years all right man before we get going we got the Indiana Fever we got the Los Angeles Sparks in the building I've been telling you guys man the fever cannot take this game lightly Los Angeles Sparks they're gonna play hard they've been playing pretty well you know no Cameron Brinks obviously she had a crazy injury at the beginning of the year but you got to look at this team you gotta be like okay they got hamy they got Brinks they got rickia Jackson they got nurse they got pieces on this team this Los Angeles spk team and then they might have a pick number one pick next year this might be a very good team in the upcoming years for sure but Indiana Fever on the other hand kayin Clark with a triple double making history once again and you got Kelsey Mitchell out there you got AB with a huge night for me it was The Bigs that won this game you know Nelissa Smith she had a great night she had 13 points she's been shooting the ball very well she's been very aggressive and then earlier on they're looking for ab all day he ab ab ab establish the down low game establish the paint game you know Sparks were blitzing a lot Caitlin Clark had to get out of a lot of blitzes which is fine we expect teams to be worried about the three ball obviously it's Indiana Fever they're shooting it I think they're what fourth they're they're fourth right now in three three ball percentage I believe last time I was looking so Indiana Fever you got to step out on this team they got to step out on those High screens so they are blitzing a lot now there were turnovers I'm not going to make make it sound like this was the perfect game for the Indiana Fever this was disgusting in my opinion um and the Sparks came and brought it I think they need to start really really controlling the ball protecting the ball at home all in all they got the win but I'm not going to ignore the fact that we still have things we need to clean up especially I know we solidified the playoff spot that's great I'm happy for the fever but if they're going to go far in the playoffs it's these little things that cannot happen and uh turnovers will happen don't get me wrong when you're playing at this Pace they're blitzing turnovers will happen but we got to control and limit them we have to limit transition points we have to limit points off turnovers those are the things that are going to be important on winning a basketball game so I don't mind the turnovers they're going to happen I don't expect the fever to be perfect but we got to tighten it up a little bit there's some still there's still some layups that we're missing that we have to tighten up all in all they got the win that's all that matters you know on to the next but they got they got a big game coming up and these little things will change and and and make a difference in a game like that it's going to determine a win and a loss so one thing another thing I'm happy about is the Indiana Fever are learning how to close out ball games earlier on in the season there's plenty of games where I felt like they should have won the game they were up and then all of a sudden Midway through the third Midway through the you know third fourth quarter here we go that's that 17 16 15 20po lead just starts to go from here to here to here here to here and then it closes out and then we lose the game right now what's happening is teams are fighting and we're burning them out and we're we're getting that timely stop and we're getting that that that bucket that we need momentum to take over the game you know I'm kind of reiterating what I said earlier on in my other videos but this is a full game highlight and those who didn't get to watch it I want you guys to fully understand what's going on with the Indiana feet okay there were still some things with rotations that I personally thought could have been better but Chrissy siid decided to go with what she went with tonight I believe Caitlyn Clark played all 40 minutes which is fine you know she looked perfectly fine out there didn't look exhausted or anything so that's a good sign let's get some rest and uh get ready for the next game so let's go over the highlights and uh let's pick it apart man let's go in Connecticut a fever clinch the playoff birth last night they look to keep the good times rolling you can't let Indiana get out on a break and you can't let take by right there she has been phenomenal fast in the last seven games she has seven straight with 20 or more that is a franchise record a big lead in that category showing off the craftiness inside Ria she did all the hard stuff and one couldn't finish the easy right there Ria was talking her [ __ ] so early run the girls they're getting very hyped and um you know they they're going to bring it it's the fever the the Los Angeles parks are going to bring it you know but after maybe your first two buckets man Ria went kind of cold I was kind of excited to watch Ria and see how she's gonna do against the fever like Ria Jackson That's someone we don't really get to watch we don't really get to see her games a lot you know and um I kind of did a video maybe three weeks ago making a statement that Ria Jackson should probably be the runner up for Rookie of the Year a lot of people want to say it's Angel ree but I I I believe it's Ria Jackson and she definitely has the bigger upside so this is somebody I've been wanting you guys to watch keep an eye out for RIA Jackson she's going to be an absolute problem in this league and um it's just unfortunate that her teammate camon Brinks wasn't able to play I think this would have been a different season for the Sparks and um just very excited for the season I think RI has been doing a great job and um I I'm very excited to watch her play moving forward she did all the hard stuff and then couldn't finish the easy offense just 11 the WNBA as Odyssey Sims gets inside and finishes see they're talking you're right P you look at LA's l seven of eight but the one win is there's Boston who gets inside and lays it [Applause] in good break down right there CL gets way to go tween tween right there good breakdown good heavy tween I'm out of there CLK with thees get so that's a good move usually when a defender's on your hip like that as you saw caylin Clark had number six on her hip usually that Defender Can't Stop on a dime how six did that's very good balance and control by her but most most of the time the defender is going to be on your hip so so close on your hip moving forward the momentum is going to push right into you you're going to get the bump and one to the line every time lays it in instead of turning it over Indiana that's not something she was doing last year Mitchell shoot whistle there they did it's not an ugly uh I mean it's it's a very ugly win to me you could call it what you want I I think we have some things we got to improve on very happy on the win streak that's going on with the fever but we got some things to improve on man this team has so much potential they just have small things take care of the ball limit transition offense for the opposite team there's a couple other things man um defensive communication and then we're just missing too many small little layups that I think that a fever the fever can do better with that's all besides that it was a great game very entertaining um we were live man we had some issues with the live but we all we made it work besides that it's your boy C I'll be back with some more videos I'll catch you on the next one they
