I don't know what you would call it if it's like soft swinging but you don't like fully switch if that makes sense there's a certain side of Tik Tok that I did not know existed until today called Utah mom talk yes you heard me right you know how you collect in communities around a Minecraft player or a cool type of music in your city well some people have gathered around the utahan moms it's a new world of ideology and culture you know all the rich culture in the um Great Salt Lake that is drying up at fast rates lot you could do in there put a bouncy house in it now let's delve deep because there is some history here beginning in early 2020 at the rise of the pandemic as it bred its way out Mormon Tik tokers began making content house style videos it all started with this original Utah mom Tik tocker Taylor Frankie Paul who posted her first Tik Tok on January 3rd 2020 a few months before I'd be laying on the carpet thinking about if I should buy stock and charman toilet paper in this first video she reveals a pregnancy to modest attention online and many of her Tik toks have to do with you know just like being a mom Instagram core just white girl Wednesday white mom Monday # just Mom things before long though she started making Tik toks with others with captions like moms taking over Tik Tok it was the mom Uprising quote should we make a mommy content House end quote one of the Tik toks read to the tune of 2 million plays yeah it was a mom Uprising I mean this is pandemic media so I can't really be shocked by any of this but I purely think the dance to the music with the caption is insane before long though this content house really started happening on October 18th 2020 Taylor Frankie Paul posted a video with the moms and the husbands on Tik Tok and soon after the slow Echelon of Mormons gathered around and started what any Utah mom would a Mormon content sphere videos of the moms doing doing mom things and their Mormon lifestyle started to get highlighted more and their videos started to strongly resemble the door stack sorority chants if you remember those it's actually nightmare Fu this is what hell looks like hell this might be what the hell of hell looks like Anyway Mormon influencer goes Super viral you kind of get the picture here's a Tik Tok from July 23rd 2021 with millions and millions of plays and another one from August 5th 2021 she started to really pop off the blonde Mormon moms could not stop dancing if you walk into a Kohl's in Salt Lake City there's a 50-50 chance you'll be greeted by these three white women and dancing exactly like this except the music is quieter and and muffled from the speaker in the corner of the ceiling yards away and the lights are flickering okay that's my next nightmare whoops in 2022 though Taylor Frankie Paul started getting accused of soft swinging is how they put it and by the end of that month's May she and her husband would announce a divorce to the tune of 11 million plays I think I'd be a little sad if my divorce was the Tik Tok that performed the best there were other controversies too Taylor Frankie Paul entered a plea of not guilty in a domestic violence case and many outlets started writing about the insanity of this World online the cut wrote what on Earth is going on with Mormon mom talk I really wish Mom talk wasn't an actual word we're using in headlines now but here we are in this article it goes over her cryptic divorce performed to Miley Cyrus's Malibu which was quickly preceded 2 Days Later by the reveal of her soft Swinging with her entire Mormon friend group this uh caused a huge surge in popularity for these creators though and many would post responses react to the drama and gossip freely on Tik Tok like this post by Jenna but if you can believe it all of this Tik Tok Fame led to a television show yes no joke there is now a a real reality TV show coming out on Hulu about Tik Tok Mormon moms payoff slay I am dancing in the hallway of a tall unfurnished white mcmansion anyway I've had enough of a Mormon white mom Tik Tok for today I'm going to go film my own Tik Tok dancing to a Maroon Five song in front of a spiral staircase bye [Music]
