but I think a lot of guys on uh opposite sides of the ball is getting better from each other learning from each other and um attacking every day with the right mindset so yeah Kobe what have you seen from Tamir specifically that really separates him from the guy he was as a freshman linebacker uh I would just say his mindset and his demeanor definitely as a mik linebacker uh you got to transcend every level you go and every year but um I yeah his mindset demeanor and his approach but um he's definitely locked in on the Playbook um he comes up to me sometime he tells me that he's he's more confident he's playing faster and uh it just feels a little slower from not that's a bad thing but he slowed the game down in his mind but he's definitely playing a lot faster and he's much more confident and um he's going to have a big year for us could be this defense has gone through a couple different Evolutions with different defensive coordinators what do you think about Tom Allen so far you've had about eight months with him but um what does he bring you to the defense it's a little bit different I think Tom is a great guy a great person a great coach and U guys love him so I would say he brings the aspect of just uh making us understand why we doing the things that we do not saying that the past coaches didn't but it was much more like a motivational thing with them but him he makes us understand why we're why we're going to attack this guy why are we going to beat up on this guy really but um great guy he's he's a teacher he can talk to us about anything and I think that's a lot of people like about him because he can just talk all day but not that's a bad thing but we can learn a lot from and um he's a great Coach Co yeah sorry Kobe um coach Allan just talked a little bit about his familiarity with the team in the league over the last couple years helping him kind of pre- scout now his defense have you seen any specific examples where he's been able to talk to about things he's seen on tap um you know previously um really just like uh it's a lot we can talk about but it's really just like formations with me I'm I'm a guy that's trying to learn new things and at this level where I am right now I'm just trying to transend my game and expand it really but um we talk about formations fronts different sets and like uh movements and checks and it's really just like post Snap thing is lot that I'm trying to get from him now and uh I'm just trying to make my game faster and he's helping me do that and um he's going to help me be the best linebacker I can be this year last question the Packers they posted a video of a kayin I think it might have been a pick six anything you want to share about your conversations with him about how things are going for him in training camp thing is going well with him he's totally locked in um he's taking it day by day and uh he got a chip on his shoulder that's just the way he's been um ever since I've been playing with him all my life until up until now but um I would say every level we went to every new team he's been to with me and I just seen that he's always uh got on it early or showed himself early but he definitely got a chip on his shoulder he's hungry and know he's definitely going to do some good things for us up this year if I can just follow up him being drafted maybe not where he thought he would be did you notice that the change in him maybe that because you know him so well yeah I mean I I it was a really it wasn't really a change but um it was definitely a change there cuz you know what had happened versus what was expected and um he's hungry right now that's all it is he's hungry I'm talking to him almost every couple days and U we picking each other's brain but man he's just hungry he's locked in and he's just ready to he ready to get going that's really it thanks M no problem
