you know there has to be more than his father being disrespectful or him fearing David can beat him uh it's starting to feel like he doesn't want David to make money with him kind of uh how he treated Andre it's really not explainable anymore um again these latest quotes they just don't make sense to me the criticism I think we can do without especially if we're not going to fight him but Canelo goes on to say this and obviously this was uh reported on a pound-for-pound show um as you can see Canelo Alvarez has blasted David benz's lightweight debut win versus Alexander vasc now before we get into what he said let's remember that we didn't think David looked the greatest either you know uh we certainly wanted him to do a little bit better than what he did we wanted him to continue his dominance and get a knockout that didn't happen but I quote I think that's his weight class 175 pounds and you can see he's very different he can't do nothing with the fighter who retired in 2019 it's different when you're in your weight class and fighting with guys in your weight so again if he looks so mediocre why not beat him if you're interested in facing Demitri bivel what's wrong with facing David Benavides if bv's a better fighter and David's debut was crappy well then it shouldn't be a big deal to beat David bivel is the tougher fight I I just think that he's starting to look like a liar um and maybe even confused he doesn't know himself what he wants and I don't think that he believes himself that he can beat David at this point like it's just too many excuses you know um and if that's what the rumors are let it be but it's not true nothing zero we have op what is on the table for him when can we see him back as as because obviously he's made a lot of new fans you know people want to see him back so when can we expect to at least see him back I say before the end of the year we're going to see him back against a potential you know good opponent as well uh we don't know yet we are looking at all the options to see what's best for him you know Fighters they need proper representation you know this is why they need proper guidance and Lucas has that and I'm trying actually speak the truth I recorded myself in the morning of the fight I said guys this is the time I just had a dream that Lucas knocked them out so going into the fight I was full of confidence now in the change room the the the trainer goes if we're getting ass kicked in the first couple rounds four or five rounds he's like don't panic this is part of the plan we're going to we're we're going to take over from the fifth forward so I was calm the whole time because I kept going back to that dream I mean why did I have this dream and then The Knockout was exactly what what I the B it was crazy well you answered my question cuz I was certainly going to ask you were you nervous cuz he was down you know he needed The Knockout but you you said you were calm because it was part of the plan uh I would have found it difficult to believe in the plan in that moment you know no we well he's the slow starter in the beginning uh we knew that if he was going to come fast you know it's going to and if he can't get the rematch he wants to fight Floyd scoffield has there been talks for a rematch why what's what's the point of a rematch when I mean I mean he's he's back he's backed by Jake Paul it would be another big fight it would be for more money because you won you don't have a network and a solid date for you're a fighter I mean there's a lot of reasons to consider the rematch no you're supposed to go up you're not supposed to go backwards you know he could still go up and fight other Fighters cuz now you know he could pick and choose pretty much whoever he wants to fight almost I mean why would I take another rematch there was if they were money the money the the platform the stage money money money talks but usually you know what happens on a rematch when you get knocked out cold like that it becomes even worse I mean if it's easy do it twice well look we're always open to options for sure but there's no reason for a rematch zero whatsoever speaking of options performance and debut at 175 yeah you know to be honest with you man that's the reason we went up to 175 CU I don't want to talk about Canelo anymore you know we were waiting for three years every day Canelo Canelo Canelo uh he want $200 million you know that's impossible that would never happen um that you know and still you know um I hear everything yeah this and that you know at the end of the day well if he didn't perform well if he's not that good why not take that fight yeah you get a maybe like you think you could get a 100 million uh uh that's a lot of money you know but if if you to to start using that hand so we started using the left hand and he overused the right the left hand and he messed up the left hand two weeks before the fight uh we were sparring in uh he got a C over his left eye and and you know that was the worst camp we ever had in in history but I knew that the monster that he is that you know we just needed to make it to the fight you know because he was not going to cancel the fight he didn't want to cancel the fight in my opinion I would have canceled that fight but he said no let's make it happen and to me I'm so proud of David what he did because a lot of people don't know what happened and it was just a a terrible Camp you know and uh a lot of ents uh happened there but we were able to make it to the fight and to my opinion he looked ex spectacular the way he got there you know I just wanted to win we just wanted to make sure we make that fight and don't cancel it and and make sure everything was okay and he did it spectacular for that that would be a great fight too you know uh he's a 175 and and been at 175 for a while so um like I said you know we're ready we're ready for whatever um our promotion company says you know uh we're ready I know that we're fighting in in December uh so we're we right now they're uh just uh they're busy with the Canelo fight uh and after that I think they're they're going to look for the venue maybe La maybe Las Vegas or Texas uh so so we know that we have a fight in December so there's no no way you guys are fighting on the tank undercard again in November too soon I don't think so I fight and I think uh uh he has a a really good chance to defeat and upset uh tank at at 140 did you find that fight to be close between he and Pit Bull at all or did you think R won it fairly uh you was your thoughts on morel's performance versus hot rod uh kagic yeah I'm not you know uh to be honest with you I thought uh Morel was going to stop him maybe like in about five six rounds to look I
