This Is Your Biggest Life Lesson | Jenna Dewan

feeling feelings is oh that was a really big I still to this day will be like I'm feeling grief or I'm feeling upset about something something's really triggered me and I will find myself trying to do go right to the things that'll pull me out of it right stop and say okay feel this feel like your life is over for 5 10 minutes right now however long like really feel as if you've made all the wrong decisions you're in the wrong place in your life you've messed everything up like feel what the grief of your everything would be right feel like what that would feel like and generally if I allow myself to really just allow that then I can start to see the the perspective starts to float in um and also like I don't like to it's okay not to stay low for too long like I'm just one of people I allow myself to feel it and then I go okay all right now what are your what are your tools to like come to a deeper understanding of this this feels really Jenna so I just want to underscore this for people listening cuz I think we have most of us been trained since infancy to not feel our feelings yes don't cry have a bottle don't cry have an iPad don't cry have some pills don't cry have some booze don't cry have some whatever but we've been trained and conditioned and now medicated away from feeling our feelings and so what I heard you say is that when you feel like you're doubting it like you don't feel impano you're not trusting the universe you feel like you've ruined your whole life instead of the bypass which was the default which was the old Jenna now you give yourself the time to actually feel the fear feel the grief feel the sadness and then it doesn't have to stay long and then you ask yourself what tools do I have yeah that feels really important because if we just skip to oh I'm going to do breath work or oh I'm just going to go meditate or oh I'm going to go exercise without feeling the feelings we're missing a really big part of the process and I think I saw and I I really saw this especially during 2020 and all of thatness saw a lot of um the spiritual world really bypassing like that was really fascinating for me was this cuz there's this thing about we want to manifest and people all about manifesting but they think you need to feel good to manifest and you need to you should be in this great High vibration way which you know is not untrue however we also have to have our feet in this reality in our world and I think that feeling and being okay with what we're feeling and like this is really hard stuff we're dealing with right we were dealing with fearful of our life of all the stuff that was going on isolation loneliness like so much bypassing was happening cuz people were just wanting to survive they were wanting to feel good like I don't want to feel in this and I really got that message I saw a lot of people doing it I went okay that's not spiritual to me right spiritual to me is dealing with the challenges that we are given but then also the next step is then how do you get back to feeling good right so I think that there's a two-step process for me and that's when I trust someone is because I see oh they're really grounded they also understand how to get back in their flow and that makes me feel safe when if one person's just like oh just you know go do this journey go do this this and this and just don't even like don't even give power to the reality of the world that made me go you know we have to have a combination of what's going on right there's a balance so acknowledging what is feeling what is feeling what is is a really big that was a thing I still I will admit it even to this day it's like who wants to feel grief who wants to feel rage no it's not fun and then you I always had this fear I would get stuck in it right yes I go well then I'll just like go real low and but then you this is where the trust comes in is like you don't ever you not when you're conscious and like us and we're people that are going oh there's all these tools and things to do you eventually get out of it but and actually what I'm learning is that how much more energy it takes to not feel the feeling that actually cost you so much more to pretend that it's not there versus the 90 seconds that it would take to actually just cry the tears and this is what's so baked into sacred Secrets this new modality that I'm working on is is basically teach people to use the most creative force on the planet to manifest their dreams but the thing is before we can even touch pleasure before we can even touch touch creation energy I have to give people the tools to be able to feel what is it's like if you spent 10 years or 40 years numbing your pain yeah good luck feeling your pleasure yeah oh gosh yeah no we I'm really need to know more about your this another chapter of yours is is very interesting but you're right it's all of that a [Music]
