EXPOSED: Zepbound Compound *Real* Reason Turning to Amid Zepbound Shortage / Biocare Protein Drink

exposed the real reason I'm going off Zep bound hi friends I'm Elizabeth count of shopping I have lost a whopping 85 pounds over the last 16 months of having been on mararo and then because of the mararo shortage over to Zep bound and then from zound now I'm going off Z bound and I'm actually going on the Zep bound compound because of the Zep bound shortage and on today's episode I'm going to go through with you the action plan talking a little bit more about why this is why I'm going off Zep bound why I'm turning to the ZET bound compound SL Manjaro compound and what I've learned to hopefully help encourage you as always I'm not a healthcare provider simply my experience strength and hope of having been on a glp1 medication having lost over 85 pounds as a result and hopefully to help encourage you on your journey um but I am not a healthcare provider so always talk to your own healthcare provider let's dive in prescriptions for the reason why I'm stopping ZB bound prescription for Eli Lily's newly approved weight loss drug Z bound overtake we go movie for the first time with nearly 150,000 new patients now filling a script for the shot the Z bound shots each week each week and this was as I always cite my source here I do insist I am factually accurate so all of my sources will be listed Down Below in the description just click that dot dot dot more for anything I'm referencing it it should be linked down there um this article was from MSNBC it was from a couple weeks ago but still relevant I didn't know 50,000 new patients now filling a script for shots each week the article goes on to say there were 77590 new scripts written for Eli Lily's Z bound during the week ending in March 8th around 6,000 more than its rival we GOI so wovi was around what if I'm doing the math really quick around 71,000 is and some change um there's still more overall prescriptions for wovi than when existing patients were factor in according to the company data iqvia Eli Lily launch Z bound um we've already known about that talking about um zound and so anyways the reason why I'm switching over from going from mararo because of the mararo shortage to Zep bound shortage then now to uh Zep bound compound and mararo compound it's because I can't get my medication there's all these new folks on there and I think it's great to make these new folks the villain or make someone the villain there's no villain in the story this is the most amazing medication glb1 medications have changed my life has saved my life and I will continue to shout from the rooftops how grateful I and thankful I am for Nova nordis the maker of wovi and OIC and Eli Lily the maker of Monaro and Zep bound thank you I will take this medication even with the trials and tribulations of the ZET bound shortage of the MAA shortage of the wovi shortage of the Olympic shortage I mean we came from toil paper shortages and just rolled right along so it's part for the course for for 2020 uh decade is continuing on that shortage theme let's dive in so some people are watching are like Elizabeth what's a compound so we know these amazing beautiful pens manaro pen zet bound pen wovi pen OIC pen gp1 medications have pens on them and so they disp disperse in their um the gp1 medication for we goian OIC it's semi glutide for monjaro and Zep bound it's tear eptide and so from that because they are on the FDA shortage list there can be compounds made of those and there's reputable compound pharmacies now I had previously given information saying and I want to retract that because I do demand and require I am factually accurate so when I make a mistake I want to fix it um I had said previously they were on the compound pharmacies were were having the compounds because of the FDA shortage well that's how they can give tears up a tide but after after the shortage is over meaning once Zep bound and mararo and we go VI o zic too gp1 medication drugs on the FDA shortage list once they come off the FDA shortage list compound pharmacies can still do that but mixing it with something else in there so vitamin B12 or Vitamin B or there other things that can be mixed with we have heard and if you guys saw me when I was on the Oprah show there's me talking to miss Oprah um I had the privilege of talking with the vice president miss moris and then also um I'm forgetting their official titles of Miss Morris from Nova Nordisk and also Eli Lily the two women that were there on the Oprah show they had given them much more time on the Oprah show when I was there and a lot of that was edited out but on the after show you can see my questions about the Zep bound shortage mandaro shortage W GOI and all that the shortages about why they kept saying no compounds and Eli Lily went on to sue a bunch of compound pharmacies I'm seeing that they've lost some of those lawsuits I to be factually accurate I know that they lost for sure one I don't know about the others because a lot were being sued I have chosen to take a Zep bound compound which is simply te eptide and mararo compound te eptide that's the active ingredient I've made that choice for a couple of reasons and I wanted to share this with you to give you choices options for me I've done a lot of research I want to encourage you take my information always trust but verify and do your due diligence I know so many of you trust me which I feel that weight I feel that pressure and that to me I hold like gold your trust in me and making sure I'm making appropriate and proper recommendations I take incredibly seriously I told you guys I turned down two weeks ago $50,000 contract someone was offering me it didn't feel right and so your trust in me is way more important like husband and I did have a conversation about $50,000 and I'm like I'm not doing it and my husband completely agreed with me he's like you're not doing it it's not right so holding your trust is was demoralizing living in that body I mean all of the guilt shame comination of how can I be so successful in so many areas of my life but this Juggernaut of weight I cannot it's a lack of will power it's a Mor failing and it's not any of those turns out it's just a little old glp1 hormone that needed some uh additions too and then now on my almost 100 pound weight loss journey and so those two reasons were the reasons why I switched exposing why I switched from um mararo to zound and zet bound now to a compound I have poo pooed if you guys go back on the tapes here I have over 200 videos to encourage you on your glp1 medication journey I have over 200 videos um and the reason why in many of those videos I poo poo glp ones because of what you hear of their unsafe they're unsanitary uh there's dangerous there can be bacteria in them and yes yes many compound F not many but there are some that are unscrupulous that people who are prescribing the medications should not be prescribing any sort of medications at all um they got a certificate and that's how like if it's next to your grocery store one of those buildings it's like a spa be thoughtful as to whom is prescribing and is an actual doctor we have an amazing Spa here where I live um a medical spa who prescribes gp1 medications the Doctor Who runs that is a doctor doctor like she's a doctor um and so therefore there's the the she didn't get like a certificate off of it so where you're getting your compound from matters for me um done my due diligence I've done my research and so I will be taking I have since put in my going to go back over to the data um to make an appointment uh it's taking that long because if you go back over here this was from the beginning of March which was the article was written a few weeks ago that is from earing this is was from 2 months ago but same principle I mean same principle applies prescriptions for Eli Lily's newly approved weight loss drug Z bound overtake wovi for the first time with nearly 150,000 new patients now filling a script for the shots each week so I'm that headline is implying to me when you read down further that it's both we GOI and Z bound so if you take just Z bound at 77 , 590 new scripts for zound each week uh for the week ending in March 8th so 77,000 people in a month let's do some quick math that's around is I know some of you are very detailed or like approximately 300,000 new people unprecedented numbers for this medication and so the Overflow that we saw from monjaro to zound zound now to compounds is happening so being aware with it I talked about it in my free encouragement Group which I link down in the description link below as it's the direct link for join Fridays um giving that timeline support is really important of knowing the timeline and being having Grace and kindness I saw some comments pop up in my free group and I don't allow that it's a positive only we can have trials and tribulations but we handle it with Grace and dignity we're not complainers in that group so if you're a complainer don't join that group I think it's important to talk about different topics hard topics but also in the tone in which it's done is very important to me um that some people were having issues with the timeline so walking in with the expectation were in unprecedented amounts I had a kinded to you're walking in with an eyedropper and it's really a swimming pool you see what I'm saying like that is a big like people are like why didn't they plan for babes this is unprecedented in our lifetime I've never seen anything like this and I'm in my 40s I know some of y'all are are amazing mature ladies and gentlemen who are older than I am that same thing you're like it's an eye dropper versus a swimming pool unprecedent number so giving the time one to two weeks to get an appointment for a teleah health company once you're in though that's a little bit different which we're going to talk about and then having it shipped takes one to two weeks for the compound so you then need to take ownership on the timeline of when can you refill that's always my first question when can I refill when I was on mararo to Z bound now to the compound you know what my first question was when can I do my refill you know what I found out for me it was after the third shot so guess what I did your girl went over to her phone I don't know where my phone is I went I went over to my phone pretend that's my phone and I put an autosync reminder on my Google calender to remind me I'm at the 19th day to follow up on the 21st day so really it has to be after the third shot so technically that's the 22nd day if we want to be factually accurate if I took my shot in the morning I'd email them in the afternoon um that's when I'll be asking for refills to give myself buffer with my travel and my schedule and things like that I do have some travels coming up as as well so how often do I refill is your important question if you're doing a zet bound compound or we GOI compound if you're on the semiu tide so you could do by the way um semi glutide if you wanted to stay along the wi GOI there's slightly higher data with mararo Z bound same thing different FDA approvals and same thing with OIC and wovi different FDA approvals um but they're the same thing same doses same everything for the two different companies making sure that that's clear those are two different company ones um and so I think that that's really important uh to know when the refill is with that too now I will not be having a pen I will be pulling out with a needle out of a v the injection you I we need to know that these are in the unit of measurement is you see they're 15 MGS 15 milligrams for compounds it's ml milliliters and so that is vastly different we had a group member used the same unit I I I I think if I'm remembering it's off the top of my head 15 milligrams for to 15 milliliters substantial difference you had to go to the hospital so making sure your unit of measurement is different with those I worry about people with that um and I think you can do different injection sites I haven't gotten mine yet I'm waiting for mine to come so I just to give full context of what I've been doing refilled and then um I refilled with my manufactur I refilled with my uh with join Fridays and I did that over uh the um back and forth um W with it I video chat is an option or async and so for async I had to prove meaning you can submit like a query um an electronic quilly through the portal and they're going to be having a new portal by the way those timelines let me hop off on a tangent and I'll come back over to it they're going to be having a new portal uh join Fridays at the end of the month that is going to reduce some of these timelines is my understanding it's going to make communication incredibly easier because it's all within a portal which they're building it out join Fridays is you know why they're building it out because they care that much about patients to make our experience that much easier so with that I think what's an important part of this conversation that I I know that many of you guys have not talked about that I do think that is really important to talk about is your protein with glp1 medication in general and that's one of the things I want you to take from this compound conversation and from um zet bound is protein um I am obsessed with biocare I absolutely love their protein shakes the Duke actually has been taking them with me too he loves chocolate I love the mixed fruit and I've been mixing them with frozen berries I have that usually I have been having it as my snack I've switched it to my dessert and the Duke and I make it for dessert after dinner it's 20 grams of protein only 6 ounces I mix mine with mixed fruit um you don't have to mix it with fruit at all you can just put it in a shaker bottle and then it's and then you can drink it like that like kind of like a you can sip on it or take it like a shot kind of um I usually when I was mixing it with ice I'd take it like a shot now I mix it with fruit iced uh frozen fruit and then water and it's awesome some people mix it with almond milk too you could do that as well so there's cool thing and then you guys have seen I've talked about this with my um ninja ice cream maker many of you guys asked about my ninja ice cream maker Challenge and because of the diagnosis I had a funeral I went to and then the colon can cancer diagnosis of a family member I'm not a I'm not as active with my ninja protein ice cream I have been in the group posting my recipe but I've not been as active I will get back on that as well um so I wanted to give that update too I know many of you were asking and I'm like I couldn't control that this family member had colon cancer and then subsequently now my time is not my own we are collectively as a family embracing this family member to help them fight the battle for their life and so anyways I wanted to tell you some people had been asking and my heart I felt so badly I'm like I have the blog post on countis shopping.com my blog for all things um week new patients no wonder we can't get our medications I mean it's unprecedented numbers and you can get fixated and I say this in every video and I'm going to say it again the emotional management with this shortage truly important because like I said at the very beginning for me it was affecting my time and my uh my my stress first for me time is more important than money like that for me I can make more money I can't make more time so my time is my most important thing and so spending my time grinding like I'm just not interested in that for for now we're seeing and I'm hearing more people and this is something I'm also throwing out there I'm going on the ZET bound compound and mandaro compound which is teras eptide teras eptide compound I'm going on that um but I very well may switch over to wovi if my pending uh my doctor and healthcare provider approving that of course um I do think going back over to timeline and so I'm throwing that out there for we GOI because I think that that's important um that we have choices right we have choices and that's why I like join Fridays because I can pivot fairly easily within them um to do that with join Fridays or with your tella health or healthc care provider in general different people have different medical conditions which require different things it's one of the reasons why I love join Fridays is they are so thorough thorough so thorough and so that's really really important to me that they are thorough requiring blood work from me they don't just give everybody the prescription there's certain things someone in the group was like oh I got declined from X Y and Z and it turns out because of uh because I asked later on about not for the patient obviously I would never disclose that for anybody's stuff like I'm a vault if you say like I'm not going to repeat but I was curious about overall the policy on that and there was a whole protocol for this it was fascinating to me and so that was very helpful again like I'm asking questions for an overarching thing because I also don't know again I'm not a healthcare provider but I am curious and so if your prescription takes longer maybe or things like that of knowing that there's hundreds of thousands of people now also um moving over to compounds too and so now people have asked do you think there would be a compound shortage I don't think so I you guys know I'm Henny Penny like the sky is falling I'm Henny Penny and I worry about a lot I don't worry about a compound shortage I just don't think that that's going to happen um I'm pretty sure my compound pharmacy is going to be red rock which many of you guys had asked about earlier or have been talking about red rock that will be my compound pharmacy so I'll keep you posted on that once I I'm hoping to I hope it comes it should come this week or next week it says to allow one to two weeks to get shipped so I'm hanging in there which is why it goes back to me for the timeline of refilling my prescription and planning accordingly as soon as you can have to put in the refill as soon as you can get get the refill if you're getting brand name or for the compound um you need to be on top of that like that's a self thing right and then if it does take longer giving Grace I can things I can control things I can change and things I cannot and the wisdom to know the difference I cannot control the shortage I can control my timeline in which I email but me getting mad or angry or blasting out these mean posts about no babes or gentlemen emotional management has been part of this for me along the gp1 as I've said in many videos I've had to learn so many new skills now that I don't have food clearly with having a over a 100 pound um you know needing to lose over 100 pounds there's been a massive learning curve for me and along that is also emotional management too sometimes where I've massively failed and sometimes where I've learned a ton of stuff um so I think that that's really important to say along these shortages of what you can control what you can't and don't let let it affect your peace don't let it affect your peace and it was affecting my pieace which that's my focus this week since I didn't lose any weight this past week someone put in the comments by the way if that was you I'm not going to say who the person's name was was so rude you haven't been losing any weight thank you thank you for pointing that out like you you don't think that I don't feel badly that I didn't lose weight this week of course I do like of course I do just cuz I show my face on camera I still have emotions it still bothers me like I'm trying and I made not good choices this week in partially with the emot going back to that emotional management having a family member with colon cancer I need to now emotionally loot myself back in to no matter what's going on around me I need that not to affect my nutrition and because I'm on mararo zap bound 15 milligrams and now the compound I'm at the highest dose there's nowhere else to go so I my appetite suppression is almost gone I mean really my portion sizes that's why I need to focus in on protein more to take that I've not been eating as much protein thus I'm not as full thus I'm eating more calories thus the weight stall so if I go back and reverse engineer that if I fix the protein My Hope Is I'm going to be Fuller longer and then that is going to lead to a weight loss this week so God God hear my prayer Lord hear my prayer cuz I'm tired of being like the person who wrote that comment I think had unsavory intentions of writing it but it is a valid question of well you didn't no I haven't I'm trying though it's not that I'm not trying it's not that like but I'm at the highest dose and I'm having food cravings are coming back and appetite suppression is not like it was where I could I didn't really eat very much at the beginning of this journey I've been on it for 16 months my body has changed and it's fighting this weight loss thing and y'all you y'all know I'll hit it though here here one thing I do know about me is I will once I get set on something I'll do it I'll do it so that's what I'm going to do but in the in room don't write comments down below oh you're like yes I know I know Suzie Q it wasn't suszie q but uh it St like I do have feelings too by the way and I am well aware when I'm not losing weight it bothers me still even though I've been through significant amount of therapy which I do recommend heavily um if you have a chunk of weight lose for me there has been um was on a Consulting board today and uh on that Consulting board was asking and I was like there's an accounting of emotions that happens when you take food away when it has clearly been a unhealthy relationship with food having healed a lot of it I still of a ways to go clearly but having healed a lot of it um there's an accounting of emotions that I've need a therapist to help me process and deal with so and I say that to hopefully help encourage you too that there has been this shift this emotional shift for me too as I walk through and now that gop1 medications are interacting differently with my body like I'm stuck and so pushing past this y'all know I'll push past it it's just pushing past it so I hope that helps I hope this information on the compound helps
