WITH 33 GOALS AND 83 METALS OVERALL. AUSTRALIA, JAPAN AND GREAT BRITAIN ALSO ADDED A FEW MEDALS TO THEIR TOTALS. PRETTY EXCITING ISN'T IT? FIRST, METEOROLOGIST, TRAY FULBRIGHT JOINS US NOW AND CLOSE TO HOME WE HAVE SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO THE SATURDAY. >> THAT IS RIGHT, A GOOD WEEKEND HERE. FORECAST FOR THIS WEEKEND, A LOT OF OUTDOOR EVENTS AND A LOT OF THINGS GOING ON, NO IT RAINED TO INTERRUPT YOUR PLANS LIKE WHAT WE HAVE HAD GOING ON THIS LAST WEEKEND. THIS IS A LOOK FROM MT. WASHINGTON BACK TO TOWARDS DOWNTOWN, SHOWING WESLEY CLEAR SKIES, CALM WINDS THIS MORNING, AND TEMPERATURES HAVE DROPPED INTO THE LOWER 60s MOST OF US. 63 AT PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL, 61 AT INDIANA, 65 AT CONNELLSVILLE, 62 AT BEAVER, HERE THIS MORNING. NOW, ONCE THE SUN COMES UP WE DO WARM-UP PRETTY QUICKLY. WE WILL BE UP TO 74 BY NOON. WINDS WILL BE OUT OF THE WEST AT 10-15 MILES PER HOUR. SO, NOT AS BREEZY AS YESTERDAY, BUT THAT WESTERLY WIND WILL HAVE TO BRING IN SOME DRYER AIR. IT WILL LEAD TO A VERY COMFORTABLE AFTERNOON HERE ACROSS WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA. 74, IN BUTLER, 78 IN GREENSBURG, 79 IN MORGANTOWN, 79 IN WASHINGTON. SO, SEEING ALL OF US HERE WITH THOSE TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON, THAT WILL BE RIGHT AROUND OR EVEN A COUPLE DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE THIS TIME OF YEAR. CLEAN SWEEP ON THE RADAR THIS MORNING, THE RADAR HAS BEEN ACTIVE MUCH OF THIS WEEK. YOU CAN SEE THAT FRONT THAT BROUGHT ALL OF THOSE SHOWERS AND STORMS AND REMNANTS OF DEBBY ARE LONG GONE. AND SO, WE HAVE THAT WESTERLY WIND PUTTING IN THE DRYER AIR TO OUR REGION. THAT SHOULD LEAD US TO A NICE WEEKEND HERE AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. WE BASICALLY HAVE A FEW FAIRWEATHER CUMULOUS CLOUDS THIS AFTERNOON, OTHER THAN THAT, MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES, TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 70s, 79 IN PITTSBURGH AND A LITTLE BIT COOLER OFF TO THE NORTH. OVERNIGHT INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS, BASICALLY A FEW CLOUDS WORK THEIR WAY FROM WEST TO EAST, BUT EARLY MORNING HOURS WE SEE THOSE TEMPERATURES DROP INTO THE 50s. A LOT MORE MUST ENTER THE 50s WITH THOSE MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES, THAT SHOULD ALLOW FOR OPTIMAL VIEWING FOR THE METEOR SHOWER. AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE DAY TOMORROW, A FEW MORE CLOUDS INTO THE AFTERNOON AND THERE IS A CHANCE WE COULD SEE AN ISOLATED SHOWER NORTH OF I-80, ESPECIALLY UP TOWARDS THE LAKEBED HAPPENING THERE. THE REST OF US, JUST ANOTHER DRY TODAY. SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING, WE ARE DOWN TO THE 50s AGAIN, AND THEN A REPEAT MONDAY, WITH HIGHS WORKING THEIR WAY INTO THE UPPER 70s, A FEW MORE CLOUDS WILL BE WORKING THEIR WAY IN, MONDAY AFTERNOON, AS WE WATCH THE WEATHER SYSTEM APPROACH FROM THE WEST. RAIN CHANCES ARE SLIM PICKING, BUT THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS A CHANCE FOR A FEW ISOLATED SHOWERS MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. IF IT FOR DRY THE REST OF THE WEEK, AT LEAST UNTIL THE END OF THE WEEK, WE MAY SEE THOSE RAIN CHANCES RAMP BACK UP TOWARD NEXT FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. SO, WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING DEBBY THIS WEEK, BUT THE NEXT ON THE LIST IS ERNESTO AND WE MAY ACTUALLY HAVE OUR NEXT TROPICAL SYSTEM WITHIN THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. THIS IS WHAT COULD BECOME ERNESTO IN AN AREA OF DISTURBANCE IN THE MAIN DEVELOPED OF THE REGION OF THE ATLANTIC. NOW, THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER DOES HAVE A HIGH CHANCE THAT THIS WILL FORM OVER THE NEXT EIGHT-- OR NEXT SEVEN DAYS AS IT MOVES TOWARD THE LASER AT GREATER ANTILLES. SO THAT IS SOMETHING THAT WE WATCH AS WE APPROACH THIS UPCOMING WEEK. AS WE LOOK AHEAD TO YOUR SEVEN-DAY FORECAST AND NOT MUCH ACTION OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
