INTO THE ELIZABETH AREA. THIS IS THE ANTHROCON MON VALLEY WE ARE LOOKING AT RIGHT NOW. DATA WAS SHOWING WE WILL HAVE THE CHANCE OF RAIN AS LATE AS 6:00, 7:00 THIS MORNING AND CERTAINLY ALREADY STARTING TO SEE THAT. BOUNDARIES THROUGH, STILL RIGHT ON THE EDGE OF THAT. THE HIGHEST CHANCE FOR STORMS , AT LEAST THIS MORNING, WILL BE SOUTHERN ALLEGHENY COUNTY TO THE SOUTH. WE HAVE ANOTHER CLUSTER THAT WILL BE HERE FAIRLY LATE DURING THE DAY. DOES NOT LOOK WIDESPREAD, BUT SOMETHING WE WILL CERTAINLY BE WATCHING FOR. WE HAVE THAT SEVERE WEATHER RISK FROM I-70 TO THE SOUTH. WE EXTENDED IT A LITTLE BIT, NOT VERY MUCH FRIDAY, ALSO A SEVERE WEATHER RISK, THEY DID EXTEND THIS FURTHER INTO WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA . MORE THAN 50% OF OUR AREA IS LEVEL ONE OUT OF FIVE ME FIVE BEING THE HIGHEST WHEN IT COMES TO SEVERE WEATHER RISK TODAY. HERE IS MODEL DATA. YOU CAN SEE A LITTLE OF THE RAIN WE ARE SEEING IN THE ELIZABETH AREA. 9:00, SERIOUS THUNDERSTORMS GOING ON ALONE AND SOUTH OF I-70, THE BEST CHANCE OF RAIN THROUGH 2:00, 3:00 THIS AFTERNOON. MORE SCATTERED STORMS QUICKLY MOVING FROM THE WEST TO THE EAST . WE WILL BE SETTING UP AND HAVE THE RAIN SHOWERS AND STORMS UNFORTUNATELY AROUND, IT LOOKS LIKE AT THIS POINT AT LEAST, AS WE ARE HEADING INTO THE EVENING HOURS, RIGHT AROUND THE TIME FOR FIREWORKS. THAT RAIN AND STORM RISK SWITCHES FROM THE SOUTH, SOUTH OF PITTSBURGH, ALL OF A SUDDEN TO THE NORTH OF PITTSBURGH AS THE SUN IS GOING DOWN. THAT COULD HAVE THE IMPACT ON FIREWORKS DISPLAYS. IT IS OVERCAST. I AM EXPECTING MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES, WINDS CALM, DEW POINTS AT 71 DEGREES. IT IS HUMID . IT IS THICK, THE AIR, AS YOU ARE STEPPING OUT THE DOOR YOU WILL FEEL THAT.
