[Music] CL when you look at your outing tonight is this one of which you'd say you probably felt the the best of all three of them uh really the first this one tonight I felt felt pretty good overall um you know just made some dumb mistakes tonight you know a couple couple guys got on bas2 which which shouldn't happen so um those were frustrating but you know um I think it's another good step in the right direction and now I just got to figure out how to maintain my pitch count you know and um obviously my pitch count I'll keep getting higher but um you know you got to find a way to get through at least five hopefully six or seven at some point so um you know just kind of fine tuning everything but tonight there were some good good parts of it for sure Dave said going into the start you had made some changes with your delivery do you think that that was shown just the results you were getting especially early in the game uh I think just overall my stuff is a little bit better tonight you know just a little crisper um I really could just kind of had better fastball location probably the biggest thing able to kind of put it uh where I needed to for the most part um still with some mistakes and some ones that I want back but overall it was um it was a good good building block going into this pitch count was like kind of 80-ish the idea or we don't really talk about it I mean I think it's you know if I had a quick fifth there I probably could have gone back out I don't know but obviously the fourth or the fifth there through a lot of pitches so um yeah docking I don't really talk about pitch count before the game or anything you mentioned going deeper in games but what building blocks are you trying to stack at this point or or boxes that you're trying to check as you're coming back I mean nothing just try to pitch good try to win games that yeah the obviously took you out after the SCH at that but were you kind of okay with that in ter did you kind of understand the there I mean you never you never want to come out of the game obviously um but you know like I yeah I mean yeah I guess so I mean I'll do what doc tells me to do yeah well I guess I mean at this point are you kind of able to you know I know like in that moment I'm sure you want to stay in and everything but kind of keeping the long goal in mind you know like when like right now at this point right when you kind of look back at the mind can you kind of keep the long goal in mind uh no I mean you want to win the game you know I think you know I'm healthwise I'm fine so I don't think there's any worried about staying healthy it's just a matter of trying to pitch good and uh be a part of be a contributing factor to this team win games did you feel more tonight like you were competing and pitching as opposed to a guy coming back from an injury I've been feeling that way the whole time yeah yeah just some better than others I have to imagine just during your rehab you spent time recovering with Roar how heartbreaking is it to see a guy like him just like how much hard work he put in to come back and then seeing an injury like that yeah super sad you know I think um you know there's a lot of stuff that goes into coming back and getting on this field and um you know unless you you've done it you don't really know so um we all feel for him he he's uh he loves to pitch he loves to be out there he loves to be with us so um it is it's sad you know if this is a season Ender it's it's really hard obviously but good thing for him is he's young he's got a really good arm and he'll be able to bounce back and be good next year but it's uh definitely a definitely a tough night for sure a splitter now yeah what was that uh change up whatever you want to call it whatever yeah whatever got a strike out it's true I did you had a first um first didit strike a lot today um how important it is to get the first yeah just I mean it's a good team Phillies are a good team so you try to be on attack as best you can and uh like I said I just think I had better command tonight you know I think I was able to kind of put some pitches where I needed to and um yeah overall it was it was better command wise for sure Clan do you feel like you have a better feel for that change up than you have in the past or you just wanting to throw it more uh well wanting to throw it and having a feel are two different things obviously so uh I do feel like I have the ability to throw it now um you know was just the one time tonight but I think uh you know potentially moving forward and be able to use it a little bit what what changed I don't know my my uh my ability to adapt all right thanks thank you
