Denver Broncos Have a draft STEAL Proving He Belongs...

all the talk and the hype after the Denver Broncos shellacking of the Green Bay Packers not only in joint practice but then in a 27-2 victory in the preseason game is notably about our franchise quarterback Bo Nicks but we also had a steal of a draft pick who just showed that he belongs in the NFL and there is zero doubt about it we got to break that down in a ton more in this video if you're most against that game against the Green Bay Packers 27 to2 uh you know there's a lot of chatter and a lot of like uh hedging or maybe Green Bay Packers or national media being like well yeah they weren't actually trying or they don't take the preseason that um seriously but we heard immediately from the Green Bay Packers head coach last night Matt leflour who came out and uh notably before any questions were even fired his way said oo that was a long night I was thinking that like after we got destroyed in joint practices which a lot of people were saying like they didn't get destroyed well their own head coach came out and said that they got outmanned out physical uh etc etc that I was expecting a lot more out of my team tonight and while uh the bulk of those points you could say it was the the Denver Broncos looking great against backups like the second half of that game was twos against twos and and threes against threes and so on and so forth so the Denver Broncos make no qualms about it we balled out of control last night and that is is a sign of things to come um and I I think everyone is starting to hop on board that train and uh one of the reasons like we go from being um you know back half of the NFL last year we weren't a bad team like we won five games in a row against teams going to the playoffs or with a playoff trajectory and we just simply kept getting better and you look at the Houston Texans from two years ago when they went out and got CJ strad and then a beast um obviously in Will Anderson that is what fueled their turnaround from being actually the worst team in football um up until that last game and then Lovey Smith got fired because they won a game and and lost a draft pick which they landed CJ strad in that but they went from being literally one of the worst teams in football to being in the playoffs all we need to do is go from being an eight- win team to back in the playoffs that is a very very doable thing and especially if we can not only hit on quarterback like the Texans did but then can we find a defensive starter in there too and you guys we did we found a defensive starter who should have been graded much much higher he had a torn laum so he wasn't able to participate in a lot of the combine things and if it were not for that torn laum when your dad was in the Pro footb like in the National Football League uh played for the Lions played for the Broncos was our the Broncos chaplain and then two of your brothers play for the league you know you have what it takes to play in the league and do we have the best of the Ellis Brothers on our team right now and through two preseason games I would tell you we do and we haven't even seen the best of him and if if you take a look at what he could bring to that edge rush like that is all of the sudden our like our defensive line is the strongest position on this entire team like we beefed up the interior we already believed in Allen we already believed in DJ Jones then we got Malcolm roach and we got John Franklin Meyer like two really great run stuffers and then on the outside they have Cooper Baron Browning uh Baron yeah Baron Browning and then on the other side to have Nick Bonito who we just saw his ability and now all of a sudden we have a rookie who who is not playing like a rookie whatsoever he's playing like his daddy taught him to play right and we're just going to look at a couple of the plays last night um that just had me like insanely hyped so watch him uh I didn't realize watching this in real time because it's a different angle that one of the interceptions we remember last week he caused the interception that got Bon knck the ball back in the two-minute drill uh through kind of hitting the quarterback and he threw the pick well he does the same thing on this and his spin move is the thing that everyone was just saying like it's an Unstoppable move it reminds me of Demarcus Wear so all he needs to add is the half Spin and then right spinning back but uh check out this nasty spin move here oh this isn't the spin move we'll get to the spin move in just one second here but uh this was this strip sack dirty right just like seeing that bull rush and that was one of the the wonderings was like is he going to be able to develop other moves other than just a spin move and you see him here being able to manhandle and cause that strip sack and then also cover that strip sack insane athleticism right there um here is uh is this the spin move here I believe it is nope this is that um one of the other things about him um that was said is that if you read his draft rankings is that he was not Stout against the Run um and that that is a a worry for him and we're just seeing like hey doesn't look to be a worry whatsoever uh with him able to step up and stop the run uh and then here is is the spin move that I I've just been watching almost on repeat like getting him and and then again forcing that interception really just let's watch this on repeat as much as we can I drink it in it always goes down smooth because that is Jonah Ellis and I really think you would have a hard time finding a bigger flash than what we have in bonick hitting and and then that and the very very cool thing is hearing from Jonah Ellis's dad Luther Ellis who came out and was like yeah you know what this is really cool but I think it's going to even be better when he's fully healthy and so what he said in this article on the Denver Gazette um was that just wait until he is actually fully healthy he's still recovering from that uh shoulder surgery he had and that he felt stronger in that Colts game than he had but that we haven't even seen his ceiling yet and we just saw you put him against twos and watch out and so I I just think that when the Denver Broncos have forced offenses into obvious passing downs we now can have like a NASCAR package where imagine having Browning in there and Cooper and Ellis or like letting them be completely fresh and rotating um that edge rusher position in so that they always man especially when we're playing at home and mile high is rocking and dudes have been playing at altitude and they're gassed and your offensive line they don't get a sub out and all of a sudden you get a fresh new guy there it is going to be crazy crazy crazy cool and I'm not sure which of our Edge rushers is going to be first to hit 10 sacks this year but somebody is going to be uh Vance Joseph system is just now moving into year two that's when we see the biggest jump is when players have understood it and are running it to its full execution and now they're not going to be able to exploit Us in the Run game because we have a ton of interior guys who can stop the run um so just a ton of upside a ton of excitement there um that it's hard to even even like have realistic expectations because I've been laughing at the five- win projection but now I'm like the playoffs are a legit possibility for this team now um because of what we just saw the Houston Texans do last year and I really think we've got the best Ellis Brother on our team uh and I think that's going to be what causes us to shock the world seeing a ton more uh National media Outlets come and jump on the bandwagon of the Denver Broncos even just seeing in my fantasy football Dynasty League which is all guys that I've met through college and through friends none of them have any Denver connection and they always make fun of me for loading my team up with with draft picks well this year B knck was the fifth pick out of all of the rookies um and and you know I was I changed the name of my team in fantasy to B levers and I didn't even get bonck and they're going to probably end up making me trade like 10 first round picks for him but you see National media start to say this so Robert Griffin II after being fired came out and said hey look how calm and confident and intentional Bon knck is with these throws he's seeing it clearly and could we start to see this be the new Norm for the NFL is that you you wait until um you know it used to be that uh we would look down on a player who' been in the NFL for a long time yet one of parcel's rules to drafting a quarterback was they need a bunch of starts under their belt because then they come in and there's not the growth curve uh and just seeing a player who's done it in Robert Griffin thei come out and jump on this as well it is just fantastic news I'm expecting just a huge week of news the the rumors are that uh today the Denver Broncos come in and they watch film tomorrow's the players off days the the rumors are that bo uh Shawn Payton will be calling in bonick Zack Wilson and Jared STM tomorrow to tell them the news about who the starter is and then we'll hear that Bo Chapman Nicks is the starter of your Denver Broncos for uh pre season or for season game number one against Seattle Seahawks I would absolutely love it if that happens but make
