WE JUST CATCH THESE BREAKS IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS IS INDEED A BREAK. >>WE'RE LOOKING AT SAN JOSE, WHICH IS I MENTIONED BEFORE THE BREAK IS AROUND 80 DEGREES FOR YOUR DAYTIME HIGH TODAY. LOTS OF SUNSHINE OVERHEAD FOR THE SOUTH BAY BLINKEN OF LOW-GRADE TOWARDS THE COASTLINE. NOW, IF WE ZOOM OUT ACROSS THE REGION HERE, THERE'S YOUR LOW TO THE NORTH AND IN EARLY SEASON COLD FRONT THAT DIVES IN TOWARDS THE WEEKEND. WHAT THIS DOES IS REALLY RESULTS IN SOME SHOWERS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA IN PARTICULAR SPOTS LIKE THE NORTH COAST, WHICH COULD SEE OVER AN INCH OF RAINFALL READING AROUND A 3RD OF AN INCH OF RAINFALL THAT I KNOW BACK HERE AT HOME. WE'VE GOT PLANS OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. I KNOW ROSS AND OAKLAND AS A BARBECUE ON FRIDAY. SHE'S WANTING TO KNOW IF SHE NEEDS TO CANCEL IT OR NOT. THE GOOD NEWS IS HONESTLY, I'D STILL GET OUT THERE. WE HAVE A COUPLE OF SPRINKLES HERE AND THERE ALONG THE COASTLINE ON THURSDAY, WHICH I WANT TO NOTE RIGHT HERE. BUT THE TIMING OF WHAT WE'VE GOT ON FRIDAY AROUND MIDDAY IS A SPRINKLER TO OAKLAND IN PARTICULAR, SHOULD STAY BELOW A 10TH OF AN INCH OF RAIN. SO SOME REALLY, REALLY LIGHT STUFF RIGHT THERE. AND IT'S JUST GOING TO BE GENERALLY COOLER AND A LITTLE BIT CLOUDIER BY NO MEANS A WASHOUT FOR YOUR WEEKEND PLANS NOR BARBECUES, BUT ALL IN ALL, IT IS DEFINITELY COOLER AND WETTER THAN WE'RE TYPICALLY USED TO FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. SO THAT'S GOOD REASON RIGHT THERE TO MAYBE QUESTION WHAT THOSE WEEKEND PLANS SHOULD BE. NOW, FUTURE CAST DOES SHOW A LITTLE BIT OF MIST AND DRIZZLE THIS MORNING ACTUALLY UP IN THE SANTA CRUZ MOUNTAINS SIDE FROM THAT TODAY IS CERTAINLY DRY, AS YOU CAN SEE AS WE WORK OUR WAY INTO TOMORROW, IT IS GOING TO BE OVERCAST AND A LITTLE BIT CLOUDIER THAN IT IS TODAY. YOUR THURSDAY IS A FORECAST THAT IS GOING TO LIKELY STAY DRY OTHER THAN AS I MENTIONED, SOME MIST AND DRIZZLE THAT COULD ACCUMULATE OUT TOWARDS THE COASTLINE. TEMPERATURES TODAY IN THE 60'S TO 70'S FOR SAN FRANCISCO 60'S RIGHT ALONG THE COASTLINE TODAY. AND THEN SOME 70'S TO 80'S FOR A LOT OF THE REST OF US. NOBODY GETTING INTO THE LOW 90'S TODAY. SO WE'RE TAKING A BREAK FROM THAT FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK. 80'S FOR THE SOUTH BAY WITH CAMPBELL AT 83 DEGREES. FREMONT ON ALL THE WAY UP TO RICHMOND, ALL IN THE 70'S, EVEN DOUBLING DOWN TO 79 CONCORD. YOU'LL BE A 86 FOR YOUR DAYTIME HIGH WHILE VALLEJO I-78 ANTIOCH, OUR HOTTEST SPOT IN THE BAY TODAY AT EIGHTY-EIGHT DEGREES. NOW LET'S LOOK AHEAD TO TOMORROW'S TEMPERATURES. LITTLE BIT COOLER FRIDAY.
