Minnesota Vikings Injury Updates: Shaq Griffin, TJ Hockenson, Jerry Tillery, Gabe Murphy & More

Intro [Music] what's going on Jerome so miss find Vikings are was it nine practices in uh so they had a walk through today uh but no fans there also I don't think any media uh and since night practice was cancelled tomorrow uh the Vikings are actually getting a day off uh and then they're going to have a closed practice I think it's close on Tuesday but long story longer so injuries are part of the game and also part of training camp and it it can be a little bit tough uh especially since training camp preseason uh there's no injury reports required uh so getting some information on you know the various injuries of the players uh it's kind got got to dig a little bit and there's a couple of notable players that uh will be big time factors on the Vikings uh this season uh so a couple updates and some things so on Saturday Injury Updates uh three players uh left the practice field uh Jerry Tillery defensive end free agent from the Raiders uh was carded off and then also Gabriel Murphy uh udfa linebacker uh Edge rusher from UCLA uh left practice same thing with tight end former wide receiver nikil Harry as well uh and then uh a couple updates here so Kevin seford you know tweeted out something about Camp uh then uh someone asked about Gabriel Murphy Stannis and Darren duie wolson chimed in KSTP Sports he's good uh and then also uh someone asked about Jerry Tillery update told to be okay major injury avoided and it's always scary when the the cart uh is BR out uh but I'm glad that tiller is going to be okay cuz he should be contributing along the Vikings Injury Report defensive line this year so as of right now uh here's where we're currently at with the Vikings injuries like I said incomplete because you know no injury report although teams always fudge the injury report anyways man like how how many time like the the the Netflix documentary where Aman Rin Brown uh saying that he what would he te his quad or something like that basically said that I had this horrific injury all see but he was never on the injur report uh due to that injury it's weird man I mean teams play games with all the time and also like you know why the in report is there right because of gambling it's what it is so that everyone has complete information or as complete as possible anyways but uh two major injuries two guys on the pup uh TJ hackinson uh recovering from that ACL now they are hopeful uh as TJ's working off to the side you could tell you can just tell from the tone uh of Kevin oconnell like he's always upbeat and positive but he's definitely had a shift in the last couple days where he's just like he's excited about Hockinson and right now like if I had a wager a Jelly Bean or two I I I don't think that he'll start the regular season on the pup I think that he'll be uh back sooner rather than later uh maybe they'll do it just for roster uh just for roster space but who knows na Thompson uh special team Superstar unfortunately is also on the pup list uh with a left knee injury uh now timeline wise Kevin M conell last said that he was hoping mid August but we'll see it's uh August is going to be coming pretty mid here pretty soon and you know n i I think that his spot is secure uh but would like to see him back sooner rather than later uh then you got sha Griffin who second day of practice popped a hamstring didn't look good uh but they are pretty hopeful about that uh he is going to be day today now he him being a veteran like he doesn't necessarily need preseason games although he is in a scheme and everything like that but of course the Vikings would love to have uh him back I think that he has a chance to rebound to his Pro Bowl caliber uh status uh like back in his Seattle Days Robert tanion again another guy who was carded off uh but it was backs spasm he is day-to-day uh okono mentioned hopefully having him back for the start of preseason uh first preseason game is on Saturday US Bank Stadium gets the Raiders uh louisine uh lower leg injury and yeah just something that just keeps on dragging on I think that he is firmly behind the eightball in terms of making the roster I I I just don't see how the Vikings can plausibly keep scene on the 53 over guys like Theo Jackson or k onama jward son or even uh Me and Bobby McCain at this point uh and then three injured yesterday so Tillery uh what appear to be an ankle uh and like doie said uh he should be okay avoid a major injury which is good uh Gabriel Murphy uh undisclosed uh Nila Harry undisclosed as well hopefully uh Harry's is not as serious is not very serious just like Murphy's as well and of course McKai Blackman or okayy torn first practice is out for the season so uh that's it that's at take a look at the Vikings uh injury updates uh to the best of our ability un let us know your thoughts our thoughts comment section you guys are the best you know what to do skull production value
