starting this Vlog off so strong with you know it the Apple event it's crazy because you guys watching this right now you already know everything that's been announced I don't at this point in time so I'm so excited I think they're going to be announcing the iPhone 16 unless they just shock everybody and name it something different or who knows but I'm just so excited it starts in 40 minutes and in between the start time I have a zoom call with my manager that I have to get on so I need to have everything ready for the event prepped in time before it starts so yeah I'm very excited I've been making some content I made a really funny Tik Tok where it was like are you ready for the event and Keegan pulled back the bed and then it P to me and I'm like in my Apple shirt with my MacBook and my headphones on I'm all ready for the Apple event so I thought that was so fun I've been trying to come up with a bunch of fun little Trends to do while at home unfortunately did not get invited this year so bummer but making the most of it and still covering live from home for you guys sharing my opinions and my excitement so I'm very excited I think I've made enough content in the shirt though I want to change into something different I'm just trying to decide what vibe as an influencer you think of these types of things like whatever shirt color I wear is going to be present amongst all my photos on my Instagram feed so I kind of want something that matches my brand so think of maybe wearing this green green white or pink usually I go with cuz those are just my colors so we need to figure that out what I'm going to change into okay I think I'm going to go with this I have this bodysuit on but it has like a mark on it so I thought maybe I could throw this over it I don't know but then if I want to take this off my hair also will cover up the Mark I think cuz it's just long enough so this that jeans and I have to put on some Flats cuz I like to take mirror selfies out my office intelligent and we're doing it beautiful new design introducing Apple Watch series 10 30 step anodization process which now let's talk about iPhone iPhone continues to make a profound impact on all of our Lives of an exciting New Era and here it [Music] is iPhone 16 raises the bar for what an iPhone can do oh gosh I'm so so excited so nervous iPhone 16 has a vibrant new look rich colors ultramarine teal and pink together with white and black they create a bold new palette no not today not today this year's Pro Models deliver breakthrough Innovation and incredible new capabilities in this gorgeous design what is that designed with apple intelligence at its core they're even larger at 6.3 in on iPhone 16 Pro and 6.9 in an iPhone 16 Pro Max for the largest iPhone display helping you see more and do more it's crazy we did a darker black titanium a brighter white titanium and a beautiful new desert titanium it has a warmer Hue on the band that's elegantly contrasted with the the softer color on the back glass all right wow event just ended and it is Go Time so everybody in the tech space posts their stuff live and tries to post it live so that it can reach you guys first just a little secret um because you know you get more views which means more money at the end of the day so um it's kind of like a big not really competition but like everybody's quickly trying to get their stuff out so I need to look through all the content that I posted during the event and then see what other things I wanted to highlight and post so I'm going to take some time and do [Music] that okay behind the scenes I'm about to film a funny Tik Tok it's going to be a little [Music] embarrassing okay might have been little too fast this is so stupid ding dong do you know you have 30 minutes are you 30 minut 30 30 yes okay I've had a day to really sit on and think about all the new updates that were announced at Apple Park this past week and I wanted to give you guys just a nice little overview about what was announced and my thoughts on it all right let's start off with the Apple watch they announced Apple Watch series 10 it has a thinner design with a bigger screen and it's also brighter and easier to read at an angle which is interesting but there are some really cool new features like sleep apnea detection and there's like a surfing tide wave app now that Surfers can look at and see the tide on their apple watches which I thought was actually really cool I'm not a surfer but if you are I think it'll be helpful hopefully it's the fastest charging ever and there's some new colors so for aluminum it comes in rose gold silver and jet black which is a really cool color and then for titanium there's natural gold or slate and the prices starts at $399 and it's available on September 20th but here's also the recap screen for you for all the other things obviously I'm just giving a little Spark Notes version okay now I'm moving on to airpods and I'm not going to lie I did zone out on this section A little bit because I am still going very very strong in my relationship with my airpods generation one I just love how they fit in my really tiny ears and I just know I like the shape I'm too scared to try any of the new shapes or sizes because I know that the Gen wi fits and they're cheap for whenever I inevitably lose them which I guess now they have the fine my detection but besides the point they announced airpods 4 so there's airpods for and then there's airpods for with active noise cancellation you have to pay a little extra to get that but honestly that making me think maybe I should switch because I love the pro Maxes because of the noise cancellation I've never had ear buds with noise cancellation I feel like once you've gone with noise cancellation you can't go back I love that feature but they also have adaptive audio transparency mode and conversation awareness which all seemed interesting um but then here's the differences between the airpods 4 and then the airpods Pro 2 because there's not an update to the airpods pros because the main selling point of those ones used to be that those ones were no cancelling and the other ones weren't but now the other ones are noise cancelling oh and then one more thing in the airpods Pro this is the bigger update to them said in the fall they will now be offering active hearing protection a scientifically validated hearing test and a clinical grade hearing aid feature which I thought was actually pretty cool I'm interested to see how that plays out over time if people use it or not but very exciting updates all around for those and then the pro Max which like the headphones that you wear I guess there's no actual changes in like you know the quality or anything there's just new colors that were announced and then there it's now USBC charging instead of the lightning cable so now all your devices if you have the newer ones will charge with the USBC now which actually is very helpful for me because I have USBC on all my other devices except for my airpods Maxes and my airpods gen 1 so so I've almost fully made the switch but the new colors are Starlight orange purple blue and midnight I really really love the Starlight and the purple but honestly the Orange is also catching my eye which is surprising I thought was really pretty so stay tuned I don't know if I'll get any because obviously if there's no actual changes I don't really need update I currently have like the pink red ones just can't stand the red color on them okay now for the big shiny new toy the iPhone 16 it's here well almost coming also have my Apple mug from Apple Park it's basically like we're there guys oh yeah okay iPhone 16 recap here are a few of the main highlighted features about the iPhone 16 and 16 plus we'll talk about the pro and pro Max next prob be easier if I just put it right here for you guys so first up with have the a16 ship don't know exactly what that means but all the tech Bros seem very excited about it and like it's a good thing so good thing yay it's now getting the camera control button I think this is going to be really fun and helpful for me at least because I feel like I'm always taking pictures and videos especially with my job as a content creator and I also do photos and videos on my phone for weddings too as another job on the side so very helpful for me I haven't gotten the chance to actually try out how it works I just watched my friend Nikki's demo on it and his video he's the first person I've seen so far that actually tells you what he's doing with his finger as he's doing it and explains it so I'm going to link his video below cuz up until now i' like obviously I know you can do different things but he was telling you like okay you have press to do this and then whatever and it actually made it a little more clear so I'm excited about the button we have an advanced camera system direct quote from The Newsroom post um I'm not going to get into all the details but I know it's a better camera I mean that's usually an update each year so exciting a boost in battery life of course you get an action button too now so finally everybody gets action button you have this button now and you can actually change it to have different uses like if I really wanted to that could open up my camera but I just keep it on able to silence my phone because I'm so used to needing to do that on this spot I guess so I changed it to the camera for like a day and then I instantly reged it so ever since that I'm like dang I wish I could have like two buttons so that one I could have the camera and one I could still silence my phone with and what do you know they just announced another button so they said that the phones are built for Apple intelligent so you will get that too which is nice because there are only a certain a very limited handful amount of phones that actually will be able to get AI and then for the colors there's black white teal pink and ultramarine I've seen that people either love the colors or hate them so what do you guys think I don't I don't know how I feel I really love the baby pink color of the last 15 but obviously still couldn't get that because I needed all the cameras still no fun colors for the 16 pro and pro Max but we'll get to that we're also getting something new called visual intelligence an example that they used was if you hold up your phone and click and hold on your camera control button it'll look at what you're looking at and scan it so like if you're out front side of a restaurant it'll scan it until like the hours and the r readings pull up menus maybe I thought this was kind of cool I think I'm going to need to try the feature Hands-On to actually understand a little bit more but very interesting now on to the iPhone 16 pro and pro Max this part is what I'm most excited about there is a new a16 Pro chip again everyone's excited about this built for Apple intelligence so again great larger display sizes so 6.3 for the pro and then 6.9 for the pro Max which is crazy not going to lie I'm kind of scared but excited I don't know it's been a while since I've had a pro Max I have the 15 Pro right now and I've gotten used to the small size an almost 7 in phone is crazy but we'll figure it out Innovative camera features and then there's also the camera control button I won't know until I see it in person with my own eyes how great the new camera is but I guess it is nicer and there's some new really cool features like it can record in 4k 120 so that's great I said that the new Pro Models have four studio quality mics in it and there's new ways to edit sound with audio Mi so somehow you can adjust it to focus on the voice of the person in the camera and it'll sound like it's recorded in a professional studio I don't I don't really know I need to try it for myself and see what they mean by this but I think it's going to be really helpful noise and wind reduction all that good stuff I I don't know we need to try it stay tuned for my unboxing video okay we'll try it out then now the powerful five times telephoto lens will now be on the pro and the pro Max which allows users to capture the ction from farther away with no matter what model they choose and you guys I have PTSD from the iPhone 15 because I got the 15 Pro thinking it was going to be equal to the 15 Pro Max just a smaller size you know I thought it would have all the features no it didn't I just wanted to give my hands a break from the pro Max sizes that would be fine without the telephoto lens like the ultra Zoom I wasn't I've spent every day since regretting my decision on not getting the 15 Pro Max not making that mistake again I'm getting the 16 Pro Max because I don't want to miss out one any features just in case they do that again where the 16 Pro Max has a few more features than the fifth 16 Pro I don't even know if there are any differences but I'm still going just to be safe and then of course the best battery life on iPhone ever so that's kind of nice I mean they usually improve that each year as expected it's available on September 20th and here's the pricing guide for all the different phones unfortunately there's still no fun colors for the Pro Models no pink which is heartbreaking I was really hoping there would be a pink but they do have a new color it's called desert tum I think I'm going to try that out because it's almost like a gold it's close enough okay now I just quickly wanted to go over a few of the things like the AI and iOS 18 so it said on their website Apple intelligence will be available as a free software update so it is free I've seen some rumors of people saying that you're going to have to pay for it but you don't they're saying here that's free the first set of Apple intelligence features will be available in beta next month as a part of iOS 18.1 so I think that's meaning if you buy iPhone 16 on release dat it's not going to have apple intelligence in it it'll be update later on there's the list of phones that it's is going to be available on okay this is for apple intelligence which is different than iOS 18 iOS 18 is the software update as a whole Apple intelligence is like its own thing cool Shiny Toy okay Apple intelligence will be available on iPhone 16 iPhone 16 plus iPhone 16 Pro iPhone 16 Pro Max iPhone 15 Pro iPhone 15 Pro Max so there are six phones that it will be on okay only six phones that I just listed will have apple intelligence and then iPad and Mac with M1 and later so deal with that information what you want any other phone even iPhone 15 like the base model of iPhone 15 will not have the Apple intelligence which also is interesting they discontinued the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max which were the only other two phones other than outside of the 16 was just announced that we're getting Apple intelligence so thought that was interesting like if you go on apple.com you can't buy it anymore so I don't know what to do with that information I just thought was interesting here is a list of the phones that will be getting iOS 18 which is as we know the normal software updates that we get so there we have it most phones are on this so I hope this helps you out I'm going to be doing a video of customizing your phone with iOS 18 once that comes up and I actually think it's coming out on Monday September 16th I just saw that on the website in the very small print at the bottom so Monday get excited I'm very very excited then we're going to go through some rapid fire questions that you guys had on my Instagram story if you don't follow me on Instagram it's @ jie Krist and I let you guys participate in videos sometimes with asking questions so you guys asked how do you pre-order Apple phone company I pre-ordered on apple.com I did like the pre- pre-order where you get everything set and in your cart and then on Friday you can actually pre-order it because the pre-order starts Friday morning for me it's 8:00 a.m. I think but it's different times for the dime zones sure about pre-ordering on your phone company or not you might just have to look at the website but I know apple.com have the option that you can like order yours with Verizon or 18t or whatever I just did no phone company I'm going to set it up later are you sticking with a smaller Pro or going for the pro Max as I kind of mentioned I will be going for a pro Max just cuz I don't want to lose out on any potential feature changes I just like knowing that I have the top line product especially when it's very important to my job so I will be getting the 50 no 16 Pro Max in desert titanium the airpods max is the sound quality different so there's no like quality changes as I mentioned it's literally just new colors and a different charging Force anything with a smart ring no unfortunately I was really hoping that they would just shock everybody and just randomly announce a smart ring but there weren't any rumors of that and usually there's rumors and sometimes they're actually pretty close so no smart ring unfortunately not yet what models will AI be available on I was busy watching the event I just mentioned this like a minute ago so skip back and watch that if you missed over that here they are again anyways on the screen just to be safe about the case on the new camera button so everyone's asking about cases and the camera button and what what are we going to do I figured that it was just going to take the different third party people some time to develop a new case and you know make space with the camera button so comes to mind for me is it's just going to take some time but I do know apple is releasing some from apple.com that have almost like a button over it but you can still access the like scroll features and stuff through the button that might be worth trying out we'll see why did they go back to the vertical camera here's what they're talking about if you are confused and I believe it's to be able to capture spatial video and photo to be able to relive your memories on Apple Vision Pro so that you know it can be wider why do we have to redesign a whole phone around Apple Vision Pro I don't know but all right it happened is it worth upgrading every time a new device comes out how often do you upgrade honestly I don't think it's worth it every single time I only upgrade every single time because I do this as my job as a tech grator that's what you do is you get the latest and I test it out and I tell you guys my thoughts and if it's worth it for you guys to upgrade so I'm not going to know exactly if it's worth it until I have it in my hands and try it out so I can't give you that yet but points that I think that you should think about are how badly you want to have apple intelligence and if that's something you want maybe upgrade I would say upgrade to the 15 Pro or Pro Max but they discontinued that so you literally would have to do the 16 or 16 Pro Plus or PR Max so yeah I guess in this year it's just a matter of how badly you want Apple intelligence or not and that'll determine if you're upgrading wait is the three camera lens one with the brown color brown or is that just a prank I saw it on tikt so people often get confused like the months leading up to an Apple event different random Instagram pages will come out with mockups of what the rumors are saying or what they wish would happen like there was one of like a beautiful pink Pro and didn't happen obviously I think you're talking about this one where it's like a gorgeous neutral Brown bronze uh no that didn't happen it did happen as desert titanium but it wasn't that color so just a rumor this
