good yeah how was it man it was a blessing you know uh first game compared to what I've been used to but just all glory to God just uh thank thankful for the opportunity would you ever imagine season opra like this a year ago just everything that comes with this absolutely not um like I said it's a blessing uh I know I didn't expect I was just I was literally looking just at the fans just just thank the Lord there was just so many fans it was awesome so much fun Jackson said the tight end pass game wasn't maybe something you guys and I know you weren't here last year but that really wasn't something that they did a lot how can what you guys did tonight how can that change what this offense is able to do um I don't really know too much about last year or how their tight ends produc in their offense but um just our whole tight end room is just full of a bunch of dogs and we're just going to continue to keep just being easy targets for Jackson you know just doing what we can to um relate to him and like a man's own look or whatever we can just uh be friendly to him that's the word I was looking for uh whatever whatever works for this offense and for real what what did you see from Jackson tonight and just the way he played yeah um I told him before the game was over I was just like I'm so proud of you like for real I just looked him ey I said I'm so proud of you just I saw confidence in him that was just un there was nobody getting in his way he played free he played loose um it was it was awesome to see for sure about Dion his the game he played today what what was your perspective on just see there's a lot more of that coming Dion's Dion and uh we love him we love how he plays we love the leader he is in this offense um uh we were both on our OV here together and like it was just got to know each other from that point on um he's a great dude and it's been awesome getting to know him I was seems to smile but Brent was saying how competitive he is have you seen the competitive in him super competitive that's what makes our offense so good um just the competitiveness and every single player whether that's the right tackle or the one receiver you know what I'm saying so that's what that's what makes us so good and Joe John and C tr get get bring that out of us for sure what's that mean for a guy like him that trademark is his speed but it wasn't taking the top off tonight he's still impacting the game like that he has yeah I mean he has so many abilities to do whatever in in in the in this football game um he just used his legs and the way that the plays were caught tonight so that's a good look considering the injuries that unfortunately have decept the wide receiver group how important is it for Dion for you you know guys that are out there to do like what you did tonight yeah I mean whoever goes down goes down this part of the game it's just whoever wants who it's just we need to step up and so like I said being friendly to Jackson knowing that we have his back um and whatever he does is is going to be a big thing and whoever's playing on that field with him what was it like when you found out you going to be a captain today oh I almost started crying like I was just I said I said to myself in January I said um I actually asked Casey Thompson I was like is that ever been done of a first year dude he was like I ain't never seen it so I was just like all right that's my goal Let's Do It um and still got a lot of a lot more work to do a lot more goals to accomplish but that was just a start and it was awesome praise the Lord to not only be a captain but to to score ATT tached on your first series here what what does that mean to you um I started crying when I got to the sideline it was just I just point up this guy and that's real it was just all Jesus like he put me in this position I had one offer coming down High School to play quarterback and now I'm here like you can't tell me that's not God and so just to know that and uh it just hit me it was awesome yeah who' you have to see after the game as far as like people that were here who'd you go to uh my a and Uncle my dad my mom and my grandparents it was uh don't get what did they have to say about or myom stop no not a word was said even in the the Walk of Champions like I just saw them and I couldn't get words out like I just never experienced anything like that that many people leading the leading the team and you said your mom couldn't she could say she she couldn't stop gr you think she might say something maybe next week after the game yeah it might come around next week thanks B
