I ASKED HEAD COACH ROBERT SALEH TO ELABORATE A LITTLE BIT. >> I FEEL LIKE JUST ALL OVER THE SPORT, IT IS NOT JUST FOOTBALL, WE HAVE GONE THE OTHER DIRECTION IN TRYING TO PREVENT INJURY. WHICH IS, IN MY OPINION, LEADING TO A D TRAINING OF THE ATHLETE, SO THERE IS A BALANCE. YOU ARE NOT TRYING TO DRIVE THEM INTO THE DIRT, BUT AT THE SAME TIME, WERE TRYING TO PREPARE THEM FOR THE HARDEST PARTS OF WHAT THEY'RE GOING TO BE ASKED TO DO DURING THE 17, HOPEFULLY 20 GAME SEASON. >> OF COURSE HE SAYS 20 GAMES, THAT MEANS GETTING TO THE SUPER BOWL. THAT IS MUSIC TO YOUR EARS. X YOU HAVE GOT TO HAVE THAT NORTHSTAR. SO, WHAT IS THE RISK HERE? I MEAN, IS IT RISKY TO NOT PLAY YOUR STARTERS BEFORE THE SEASON BEGINS? >> EVERYBODY WANTS TO TALK ABOUT THEM NOT GETTING HIT BEFORE. THEY HAVE HAD A LOT OF HITTING IN PRACTICE, THEY HAVE HAD MORE THAN ENOUGH PLAYERS DURING PRACTICE, THEY HAD THE JOINT WORKOUTS, THEY FEEL LIKE THESE GUYS ARE GOING TO BE PREPARED. AND ROBERT SALEH SAID HE DIDN'T WANT TO HAVE THAT COUNTRY CLUB MENTALITY IN THE PRESEASON, SO THEY RAMPED IT UP A LOT. THEY FEEL LIKE THEY ARE READY. THE MAIN THING IS TO KEEP THEM HEALTHY BEFORE THE REGULAR SEASON STARTS, AND THAT IS THE BEST WAY THAT THEY THINK THEY CAN DO THAT. HOLD THEM OUT OF THESE GAMES. >> WHEN WE HEARD AARON RODGERS TALK ABOUT EARLIER ABOUT HOW MANY REPS HE WAS GETTING OUT THERE -- >> YEAH, THEY CRANKED IT UP A LOT. GUYS GOING ON RECORD SAYING IT IS THE HARDEST TRAINING CAMP THEY HAVE HAD IN YEARS. AARON RODGERS SAID GOING BACK TO THE TUA TAGOVAILOA DAYS, THAT WAS REALLY HARD FOR THEM. >> ALL RIGHT, OTIS, THANK YOU FOR THAT UPDATE.
