Eagles Restructure Josh Sweat & Trade For Kenny Pickett | Free Agency Tracker- Day 3 | Top 200 FA

myself and beat and uh little stuffed up as you can tell but uh look dude it has been one hell of a day I I can't believe I literally we were going from one site to the other all this stuff was happening I was able to like post this stuff and I know you guys always have questions um people are always asking are you making a video uh like you do every day yes uh there will always be one just as I've said you know during the weekdays man it is just going to be way busier for me so we gotta wait till night time baby and uh I'm pumped up to be here now usually we have a little fan Friday but with free agency going on as I told you we're gonna break this stuff down each day you know for the first few days and then we'll jump back into it but we'll have sicko Saturday or Sunday coming up we'll have a nice little live video with all of your questions and comments from the mailbag so uh I appreciate you taking the time hope you're having a great week we're here to recap the moves today the free agency tracker everything you need to know I even brought some other stuff with all the news you need to know so let's get it started ladies and gentlemen anything on your mind let's hear it but I'm going to go through this stuff we'll take a look at what happened around the NFL the top 200 remaining free agents all the things you need to know we're going to take a look at and going to start it off with some Eagles news here CJ Gardner Johnson saids he's going to wear number eight for Kobe Bryant Kobe being from Philly and you he just wants that Mamba mentality and I'm all about it so let's go baby and saquon Barkley going to rock 26 all about it Bryce off going to be Agent Zero this year so this is what each of these players has said I have no idea if that's going to change someone else has those numbers in mind whatever the hell is going to happen but that's what those guys are saying I know you guys like to be up dat up to date with that stuff so there you be um and then obviously earlier um you know and some moves did happen we'll go through all of it don't worry but the reason I want to show you this trade I want to show you what the trade actually was here you can see the Eagles got Kenny pick it and a fourth round pick so we gave them a third round pick pick 98 we go back 22 spots give them two seventh round picks next year we have four of them next year so you give up two of them and you get your backup quarterback or your guy to compete with Tanner mcke but a former first first round pick just two years ago and obviously didn't pan out for Pittsburgh there and whatever but we're looking for somebody cheap and we just found a former first round pick for the next couple of years and all about it but I want to show you the updated draft picks for the Eagles this season now now that that third rounder is gone you get a fourth rounder so we still have three in the top 53 all about it but you see uh the fourth rounder now and uh look we got two or I'm sorry three fifths and a six there so we still have eight picks Howe will still be wheeling and dealing if there's anybody he wants to move up or he will and we had a first second third and a fifth next year along with those four sevens so obviously now you only have a first second third fifth and two sevs I'm not sure which ones they are because we've got uh some from dender Atlanta so we'll see which picks they are maybe the lesser of them whatever it may be but um I'll keep you up to date with all of that but now we only have six next year so 14 total the next couple of years but just wanted to show you that and don't worry we'll talk about all of these moves here in a second and uh all kinds of stuff going on for the Eagles so I'm pumped up here and quite a long day we were at that hell site again today and it was even worse than any day that it ever has been there and uh dude it was nuts but uh just kept pushing through man and uh I'm here I'm uh live and I guess maybe in spirit I'm not sure but I hope you're all doing great let's go baby I know you're going to help me find that energy let's get it going here baby so appreciate you all tuning in let's go man um I had a pretty tough day uh but it was a good day man felt good felt good afterwards I was covered in mud head to toe it was insane it really was but I enjoyed um no it's not just like I uh had posted yesterday and have been saying there I'll give you guys the cap space um I know you keep asking here Troy but I promise you as soon as that comes out I will get that to you guys but it's just those numbers aren't out yet so let's jump right into this any questions comments and again I promise you when the cap space comes out as I always do I will update you on the cap space that will not change there will always be video breakdowns I don't plan on just stopping this train anytime soon so just to let you know I will continue to do what I do now let's talk about the one addition that we made today and don't worry we'll get into the other moves too but canny pick it man so uh look as I mentioned you know a former first round pick just a couple years ago and he's 25 years old and you know you know the baby hand stuff and all that uh look 632 220 whatever and he started 12 games last year had over 2,000 yards only six touchdowns four interceptions he definitely had his struggles but he's a versatile quarterback somebody who can use his legs and I think that this offense you know they can find a way to use him so obviously this dude is qb2 qb3 he is not Jaylen herdz so you have nothing to worry about there you get yourself again a cheap quarterback on his rookie deal sure you know he's a first round pick so he might call cost a little bit more but not in terms of a backup quarterback and you look at what's left out there we'll see here shortly you'll see why and we talked about this you can trade for anybody you want to and we will continue to look into those things Howie is not done cooking and I keep seeing things breaking I got sources Howe roseman's not done it's like yeah dude it's day three of free agency like the offseason just started like no he is definitely not done um let's go uh but dude can he pick it to me that would not be like the guy I would pick out like oh yeah let's go get Kenny picket that to me you know he grew up went to pit he grew up an Eagles fan yeah it's great I just that's not somebody I liked in you remember a couple years ago in the draft didn't think he was that good didn't think he deserved to go in the first round and I thought he'd have his struggles and once he got drafted by Pittsburgh I definitely thought he'd have his struggles and he did now learning you know from better quarterbacks and having good offensive coaches and you know having the right people around you can have major benefits for people so maybe he pans out he starts looking good in the preseason somebody wants to trade you and you get even more back so that's the hope maybe but also backup quarterback's very important so you have your backup quarterback so that to me is all it means it can mean more in the future or whatever you need it to be but I'm okay with it and I again I was really busy but as I got was coming home I was trying to look at what was going on and you know you always see people freak get out about everything you know nothing's ever good enough and it's I hate everything it's like we know man but you know I I think again you need a backup quarterback and we said it we're going to sign somebody or draft somebody later in the rounds whatever you move back 22 uh picks you give away two sevs and you get a first round pick from two years ago that's all right man I I'm okay with it how knows what he's doing and we'd like you know to get quarterbacks here and have quarterbacks just in case anything happen so I'm perfectly fine with that we saw what Marcus Mariota looked like I I think Kenny pick can be better I'm I'm hoping here and I think that this dude he can definitely uh turn things around so uh let's go uh but uh let's effing go my man Das I hope you're doing well appreciate you should add some more free agents look to the drafted I'll talk about every person that I possibly can at each position in the draft and we'll talk about day one guys day two day three where at on day three all that stuff man and uh oh boy I don't even know if I'm ready for it to be honest with you but uh I love you know it's just the graphics that uh make me want to jump out of a window but um don't worry I will strap in I will get it done and uh we will be breaking everything we need to uh talk about for this draft because I'm very excited I told you this off season we'll have everybody back on board soon because they don't understand how much cap we had how much we were going to create you know I made those shows and tried to help them but hey we'll get everybody back here soon I promise you man watch how we hey look people don't like me because I've supported Howie for years and that's okay man just like they didn't with Herz I know what I'm doing um so you sickos you keep supporting me we're going right to the top now speaking of the top the Eagles would like to go to the top because well as I keep telling you haha we indeed restructure Josh schat now I would have liked an extension but you want to play this last year was contract and you talk about Pro rating the dead year those dummy years to get the dead money moved around differently the guaranteed money moved around but cap space moved around and we talked about Josh W in that show and you saved 2.4 million in cap space so seen a lot of confusions why would you do this his money this that well maybe you shouldn't act like you know the Gap so you save money and you keep him here for a year and look this dude I love Josh s and I think you know next year we'll come back to this he'll be a free agent though so do we keep him does it go whatever what kind of year does he have but when I talked about Bryce Huff as my number one free agent Target it was with sweat and reic a rotation a lot of people oh you can't have a rotation yes you can and we did and we you know had the we were the first team in NFL history with four players over 10 plus sacks I want to get back to that I want a rotation I want to dominate in the trenches and I think that's what the Eagles are trying to do now reck just like I've said for over a year with reic and sweat we're going to draft somebody you remember I said that last year you're going to get an edge rusher because they're coming up in the final year of their contracts so you're going to hear trade rumors you're going to hear stuff where howwi he is going to do his job where okay am I just letting this guy play his last year or is he that good that I need to extend him do I need to restructure does the money make sense there you have to understand the cap there a lot of people get lost there that's fine but you talk about what you know it meant back then even and it's like you don't know where they're going to be at you don't know if you want to you know extend them or restructure so at that point you knew they were going to get someone Nolan Smith end of the first round it's like oh hell yeah so you hope he develops but you talk about you know this team their emphasis on the edge like all this stuff I I just think to me look whe whatever happens they're always going to emphasize there but you also have to look at the future as to what makes sense and reck I love the dude and when they came out with this stuff when the media finally figured this stuff out obviously took them way longer than it should have but it was like oh these guys want be traded everybody's getting traded and it's like dude that's not what's happening hoe roseman's doing his job engaging the market how much would you pay for him they want to know okay I'm not going to pay that so maybe you know he's GNA leave next year because he knows he's going to make a lot more money you trade him you get something in return or you feel like okay we could use him for this year let's go try to win a Super Bowl you gotta just it's up to them what they want to do but you feel out what the market is okay what are they asking for in return damn I could get a second round pick oh hell yeah yeah like you know things like that I just caught that holy [ __ ] I just knocked someone off my desk that was crazy so um yeah man um I think anything can happen but uh we restructured them so again awesome all about it Josh schwat welcome back let's go kick some ass this year and Bryce HFF you know added to the mix whether reck is here or not I am very excited you guys know I told you everybody would learn who Bryce Huff was I didn't know uh it was going to happen so quickly where he was just a Philadelphia Eagle and they're learning so love it now we extended Dickerson and Elliott waiting on Devonte Smith would love to see Milton Williams as well so go ahead and be patient there how he will get it done we retained Brandon graham bra or yeah Brandon graham bra man okay Rick levado and Albero so you've seen these players now the additions obvious obviously I would love to be able to talk tonight Kenny pick it there uh got a little Elric because he's not really a free agent Edition but in free agency here traded for Kenny picket so we've added four on offense added four on defense and uh I'm pretty damn excited man you get your star running back you get death at running back or I'm sorry o line death at wide receiver we'll see if he can make the team you get a backup quarterback whether it's two or three you get a backup uh and we talked about Bond you know I like him because he can play off ball and he can help you on the edge so brings that versatility talk about the versatility of CJ Gardner Johnson we know he can play safety he can play nickel just like he's done in his career excited to see that Bryce Huff let's fing go I really can't stress enough how excited I am to see him and it's gonna be intriguing to see you know how Vic fangio is able to unlock his skill set you know because this dude's going to be doing a lot more in this defense and we've seen this defense you know this will be the fourth year now running multiple schemes and I'm very excited to see you know and now you get a linebacker and Devon white to pair with nicoe Dean I would love to go into the draft yes we talked about Coupe Trotter we're talk about a lot of guys we're going to talk about them here in a couple weeks extensively so don't worry we're not done adding there but we did lose uh some folks here so obviously sad times Fletcher Cox Jason Kelsey and then uh just a little while ago Su opeda was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers actually it was probably a while ago earlier today but uh time is fading away in my brain butth you see Mariota went to the Commanders stole to the Giants Swift and buyer to the Bears Morrow did not go to Chicago that is Buffalo he went to Buffalo don't dude what the hell that was right I so I changed that when I put Su oped in there why did I do that okay uh but let's look at the free agents remaining out there and uh with sua off the board now 13 guys that have not been signed so again I wouldn't mind Driscoll's death but I would add in the draft and uh alade would love to have him back maybe Boston Scott but I would like to stay what we have here in add in the draft Bradley maybe he can help you as you know he's great in special teams linebacker depth there so maybe you bring him back but um you see some options out there maybe cyam um but we'll get into the rest of the NFL and you'll see who is left but uh let's take a look now at this Eagles team updated with all of the new players and uh the new players free agents or traded are in group green the reserve future guys are in Gray there and obviously anyone under contract is in the white there but uh you can see Barkley added picket Parker Hennessy then all of those Reserve future guys offense oh baby starting to shape up real nice and then that defense talk about it man and look you know I've seen people h f to start because you got this money look man uh the hope is you know huff and Nolan Smith for the future but sweat is here and if reic gets traded then yes it'll be sweat and huff and huff will just go where reic is because a lot I see a lot of people oh they play two different positions no they don't um unfortunately a lot of people don't understand Vic fangio's defense and as Edge guys you have to be the defensive end you have to be the outside linebacker and you're not just the Sam linebacker or the will you're not the strong or the weak you are left or right and you have to be able to do all of those things you have to be able Assan reic Josh W play the same position I know that's hard for people to gauge there but you know you use them differently in the sense that they don't have this isn't Madden where like oh he's got to do the same thing like obviously you know their skill sets you know who can do what better so I mean you got to understand that man and a lot of times you know you'll have certain guys hands in the dirt some are standing up and go check out that video man with the defense and uh let me show you a little teaser because I just put that base defense that's what it says because I know people want to call it the 3 four but it's way more complicated than that and you know it doesn't have to be I try to simplify it in that video but this is with the updated players we have right now and obviously you're going to see a lot of nickel as well so you know you'll see a lot of 4-2 not just you know the three four but I like to call it the 52 a lot of times you'll see the 51 that Penny front so just one of those linebackers um but these guys obviously are going to continue adding but you know Reed blanket chip Tristan McCullum and you know Sydney Brown's banged up so he's going to miss the first couple games you need help still obviously at safety linebacker you're going to need more help because Bon as much as I like him as an off ball you know and Edge guy with that versatility I'd much rather kind of use him uh off the edge so we'll see there but you got van sumerin you got to upgrade there um I imagine they'll try to upgrade most places but you know you got Brandon Graham behind huff and Nolan Smith I think that damn that's a rotation baby and uh the edge is going to be pretty nice and then Corners you know you got Ringo and Bradberry I have listed in there just because I just put the top names but I would love you know to see Ricks and those younger guys beating it uh Bradberry out and I'm sure how he will do his thing but oh baby I can't wait to make that new defensive video because that graphic gets me bumped up but uh there's your special teams and I keep saying it man I'm excited we don't have to worry about the Special Teams like we locked up everybody we got the kicker punter Long Snapper we've got return man let's go woo I don't know about you but I'm pretty damn excited here so that's all you need to know with the Eagles uh so let me jump over here before we uh take a gander there at what's going on at uh the NFL level there so got the in over the cap yeah and as I said man um a lot of people do that and try to you know say what's going on and they just don't understand how that stuff works and if they would you could just look at it and see that a lot of players are missing so without that you are unable to tell now I've given you guesstimation but I don't want to do that because I make shows where I give you the actual I don't have to be like them you know what I mean so I'll give it to you I promise I do promise uh I promise but uh so uh let me go here so last year I said draft five no doubt man I'm going for year six in a row getting uh who we draft so I'm all about it uh let's go let's go let's go uh draft worthy or sweat part two uh we're in the same boat we'll be getting in the draft here good there I liked Tyler Huntley I would have brought him on but um guess they like Kenny bamore I would have I would have just went Tyler Huntley but hey I'm not Alie Roseman although some of you think I am now at running back the top 20 got toin still out there when healthy can be a stud but gotta stay healthy got Zeke Foreman de Damen haris is there Josh Kelly cam Acres Penny hunt McKinnon breida got Alexander Madison Cordo Patterson we talked about him what he could bring to the table Clyde Edwards Air casc don't know where that went tavius Murray Boston Scott you know Benjamin yeah so H talked about it get younger in the draft that's what I am looking for Eagles let's go now the top 20 wide receivers on the board here I think Mike Williams obviously we know he's a stud don't know how much he would cost uh I'd love to have him as a third receiver could definitely take the top off for you you got a lot of interchangeable receivers versatile guys uh so you could really but um look you could go after a guy like Hunter Remo I know a lot of people like him I myself would just just bring back Lade zakus and use him you got guys like Josh Reynolds out there Michael Thomas Odell DJ J Alan Robinson uh look you know I still think in the draft for me is where I'm looking for and you've seen some mention here and I told you I wait till my draft series to tell you who my favorites are because a lot of people are watching the show and like the ti to content and then I never well it's not like it matters even when I tell you I still won't get credit I mean I literally for five years row predicted who we'd pick and we just have to pretend that doesn't happen so uh sorry for bringing that up I didn't want toet anybody there but going on to the tight ends this is where I added to because this is a position where I feel very confident that we need to add there and this was before and I thought maybe we'd bring back Jack stole but we did not do so he went to the Giants so therefore I'm looking at in free agency and the draft you know we have calcar brought back Albert o you have toii and EJ Jenkins as your reserve future guys but to me you got to add and I'm still going to preach it here baby Bryson Hopkins come on down that's who I would like to see and there are some other options I wouldn't be against talked about Logan Thomas talked about you know Robert tanion obviously a lot of names people like but maybe you bring back Brady Russell um some options out there but to me uh I would look in the draft and I would try to add Bryson Hopkins just just throwing it out there now at offensive line Tyron Smith is gone so uh now we got David bakari leading the way up there but to me you know the Eagles I love Fred Johnson as tackle death but you lose Jack Driscoll who can help you at guard and Tackle you need versatile guys you need help there and you added Hennessy who can help you at Center and guard maybe you add another guy like that in Conor Williams maybe add a tackle a guard a center you maybe had all the above but you're going to get younger you're going to draft there they always do but I think there are some options out there if you want to add a veteran so um look bakar wouldn't be against that somebody want Andress Pete who can play some tackle and guard wouldn't be against that so you see the to 20 offensive lineman here so let me hear your thoughts on that offense who you like from the offense who you would sign if you're the Eagles or would you just stay patient look into the draft because to me you know they obviously have eight draft picks but you also have those undrafted free agents so you can sign you know anybody I just think that there's just people get way too carried away but I think for me I've learned patience being an Eagles fan so uh we'll see we'll see but um Jimmy I just want you I can't I don't know why when I click on stuff it lags I'm I apologize if it's like lagging the screen anything want offense obviously we looked at the new look Eagles so far everything they've done all the moves that have been made the talked about Kenny picket Joshua all that stuff and we can recap on anything let you know how much I love Carter and Davis and Milton Williams but you know two Blu and Mora wo back there but if you want to add a veteran guy I'm not against it you know Fletch is gone so maybe you want to add a clus cble yet hey I'm not against it but I think that whoever it is they're going to have to be fourth in the rotation so I don't think it's going to be a Kus Campbell you know I would honestly not worry about it I would go into the draft and look but you want to add you know Tyson ALU Alo Jonathan henkins Dean L whatever you want to do man um you could but I'm not too intrigued there I think to me we're pretty stacked now at Edge Defender as it stands we are pretty damn stacked now Assan reic remains to be the question and look as I will continue repeating you know for a year now I just it's as contract year so of course they're going to be in trade talk contract talk all that kind of stuff because that's just how it happens but he doesn't have to be traded um he can definitely stay just because sweat was restructured this is why I make these shows like that show almost three months ago about you know who we're going to restructure extend all that that's why I explained it then so that way nobody has to freak out but you know nobody listens to me so other than you sickos but the media they get everybody riled up it's like I I even I'll comment on stuff and people are like yeah few man people hate you know understanding how things work they hate people with sources it's like all right dog like stay lost and looking dumb as hell but uh hey but there's some good Edge Defenders talked about Jerry Hughes and Bud depri whatever but to me we're stacked right now and I would stick with it so I'm good there now I got 22 linebackers here you just added Dev white you know we're going to be talking about those linebackers in the draft here shortly I cannot wait I've been trying to work on those shows slowly but surely because I know like literally I'm starting that stuff in like a week week and a half I think it is I have it like marked down how I want to map this offseason out but oh my sweet baby Lord uh with work it's just been insane and now that like I'm not only doing the physical work then after going on these you know leads and oh my God bro it's just been insane I've really just giving people estimates and then Eagles work and then trying to dude I'm literally my brain is just so fried but um we're going to keep talking about linebackers and everything else I'm sorry but we made a trade video yesterday talked about that you guys could check that one out some names out there if they want to add another linebacker but um you don't have to stop man you can add another free agent you can draft somebody you can have competition there and I would be all about it now at the corner here you got a top 20 and you know to me I think I feel make a lot more comfortable than most people do um I like slay as the veteran I like Isaiah Rogers a lot and uh obviously we've talked about him an entire year every day showing that dep chart just reminding everyone because look I love his game and I'm excited to see what he does now we'll see what happens with Bradberry excited about the development of Ringo and RX and job is good on special teams but and now you've got guys like Garner and goodr and Tian Mullen there I believe on the reserve future and probably missing somebody but whatever a lot of guys and you know some of these guys are versatile but you want to add like a sh five vet like a Trad AV is white and then you move on from somebody or maybe and you've heard me say I would add a tavier Thomas I would add a Channon Sullivan miles Bryan you know give me a nickel Corner who can compete with Zach mcferson that's who I forgot at starting nickel and you know that to me I'll be excited about now you'll use CJ at nickel at times he you know will be our starting safety but these guys are versal defensive backs and need to be able to play uh these multiple roles we talk about so look man there are still some good Corners out there in free agency but I think we'll look to get younger in the draft I don't think you necessarily have to go but you always see people each week they find out a new name in the draft we have to draft this guy we have to and it's like we don't have to do anything dude we'll see what happens to the draft maybe we trade into the top 10 maybe we drop back you know it's so much can happen I always laugh each week when you know it's a new player oh this guy and you guys know me man I lock in and oh I've been holding it secret the last couple years because I'm going for years six in a row it's like I'm not going to get give all these content creators you know all of this work for free they got to work for at least something so they have to wait uh and I would probably chill on the merchandise until I tell you this year but uh I I don't know man I don't know if the streak ends here because I think it might uh this is going to be a tough one to try to predict but I'll do my best for you guys I'll break it down you guys will see if you've been tuning in last couple years you know how in-depth those shows are so I hope you enjoy and I'll get into it but last but not least let's get into the safeties here and talked about Dugger on that transition tag and you can try to sign him they could match it we'll see what they decide to do there but man I would not mind having Dugger with CJ Gardner Johnson I wouldn't mind Justin Simmons uh you heard me talk about Ashton Davis extensively you've heard me talk about Blackman Tracy Walker wouldn't mind his death you know Nick Scott was released got Ryan Neil there so there are some intriguing depth pieces still out there say so this another one of those positions where I would look to the draft but I would also you know look to uh sign some veteran free agents to help out with some of these young guys so wo that is it ladies and gentlemen that is all of the damn Graphics I somehow created after that extensively insane day where let we get home to like 7 o'clock something like dude it's just I don't know how just time just Fades away and then it was like oh I got to put this together and I'm so tired I really am and I'm so sorry that I'm lacking that energy I know you're probably looking for but uh let's go BS uh let's get let's get pumped up because howy Roseman you guys know how I feel about how Rosman but he's been getting a lot of slack and I've gotten a lot of slack because of the support but I think he has proven that we don't have to sit here and talk about how we missed two draft picks because I've seen other teams actually miss even more than too so let's be gracious that we actually just have a good GM right um for me I love it um and I think that you know you hear well you better start draft and it's like dog have you been watching the draft or free agency the last couple years like I think to me we are building and I'm not even gonna say it but we're building an empire here right we got the foundation man you got to get got to get it right this year man you have Jaylen Herz deal and when you like add someone so like Kenny picket you trade it for him right he's on the roster his capit say it's you know two three million whatever he is not like you're not taking that two three million and like oh okay I'm subtracting it and uh make sure when you're explaining this people you give some credit here but look you just you know what no dude I just not gonna do that taking something away oh when you take the money away holy sh so when you take the money away you're not just subtracting their cap you take that cap and in the off season the cap consists of the top 51 players so you take that player and you just push down the bottom player so whoever number 51 was if Kenny Pickett's number is higher which it is you're going to just so you take his number and you subtract what ever that number was and that's how you get that cap subtraction there so um I'll explain all that stuff you guys know who tune in and I know uh somebody's gonna ask again but I promise you as soon as the cap comes out I will make a show as I do every single time all the time always that's my thing I know a lot of people I've seen a lot of people trying to take that as their thing and I saw them fail pretty miserably today when they try to explain Josh sweat so maybe next time just tell people who's telling you this stuff and then you have to look lost at se but uh hey uh it's
