your news9 sports well Packers players are on their own this weekend that doesn't mean they're not putting in the effort and time to get better especially the kickers on the roster Anders Carlson he led the NFL in misses as a rookie last season now he wi 27 of 33 on field goal tries but the real blemish were those extra points missing five crucial ones throughout last season so now he has company at practice looking to grab his spot Packers signing veteran Greg Joseph and seconde player jackp lenzi special teams coordinator Rick Rich bace has not said at all if these three are going to make it to training camp or if there's even going to be more kickers added to the competition so right now the ball is on Carlson's foot you might say I just think his response has been you know work it's it was that way during the year last year you know he went through some of the um es and flows of of kicks and I think he's he's really been the same way he's come back a little bit stronger and I think at this point it's it's been a good competition they've had their good days and bad days um there hasn't been a lot of bad they've actually been kicking the last four days they've kicked really well all of them I think the reaction is probably more of a competitive mindset a um Improvement mindset and uh that's kind of what's been showing on the field and that
