I HESITATE TO SAY THIS AND I HAVE TO TELL YOU AND I DON'T KNOW WHETHER JONATHAN OR OTHERS WOULD AGREE WITH ME BUT THERE IS A FALSE EQUIVALENCY GOING ON IN THE COVERAGE OF THIS RACE IN THAT DONALD TRUMP CAN SAY WHATEVER CRAZY THING HE WANTS TO SAY ABOUT SUBMARINES AND SHARKS AND BATTERIES AND WHATEVER HE WANTS TO SAY AND NOT REALLY COVERED IN THE SENSE THAT IT IS COVERED DESCRIBING WHO SAID IT AND WHY HE SAID IT AND WHO THE MAN IS IN TRUMP IS OUT OF HIS MIND AND ALWAYS IN THAT STORY IN THE FALSE EQUIVALENCY OF TOO MANY REPORTERS AND TOO MANY AMERICAN NEWSPAPERS AND ALSO, BY THE WAY, KAMALA HARRIS CHANGING HER MIND ON FRACKING. THEY ALWAYS THROW IN SOMETHING LIKE THAT. IT IS RIDICULOUS. WE KNOW THAT DONALD TRUMP'S STANDARD IS SOMETHING ELSE. WE HAVE HAD DOUBLE STANDARDS IN THIS COUNTRY FOR A LONG TIME, HAVEN'T WE? >> WE HAVE AND A BRILLIANT WAY FOR YOU TO SAY IT AND IT IS NOTHING NEW IN ITS AS AN AFRICAN AMERICAN BOY GROWING UP BORN UNDER THE WING OF THE JIM CROW IN DETROIT, MICHIGAN, IT WAS BATTERED INTO MY BRAIN THAT YOU HAVE TO BE TWICE AS GOOD AND I KNOW THAT'S AN OLD SOD OTHERS, BUT IT IS TRUE THAT A CERTAIN GENERATION OF BLACK PEOPLE FELT WE HAVE TO OUTPERFORM TO GET HALF THE CONSIDERATION. KAMALA HARRIS KNOWS ALREADY THAT WE ARE GRADING TRUMP ON A CURVE AND GRADING HIM WITH A GREAT DISPENSATION OF DONALD BEING DONALD WHEREAS SHE IS TO BE HELD TO A HIGHER STANDARD. SHE WON'T COMPLAIN OR BELLYACHE BUT SHE WILL PERFORM WHICH IS THE BEST WAY TO BEAT THESE FOLKS WHO ENGAGE IN THAT TYPE OF UNSPOKEN PRIVILEGE. >> YOU HAVE BEEN IN VARIOUS DEBATE FORMATS AND DIFFERENT TYPES OF ACADEMIC CHALLENGES THAT ARE MUCH MORE SOPHISTICATED AND JUST AS A STUDENT OF RODERICK, HOW IS IT ONE A MASTER OF IT AND HOW DOES ONE CONFRONT RHETORICALLY PATHOLOGICAL LYING? >> THAT IS A GREAT POINT. THE THING IS SHE GAVE A BIT OF A HINT WENT ON AN INTERVIEW ON ANOTHER STATION WHEN SHE WAS ASKED ABOUT MR. TRUMP AND SHE SAID THE SAME OLD TIRED PLAYBOOK AND NEXT QUESTION. I THINK AT THIS POINT SHE CAN ILLUSTRATE TO THE NATION HOW HATEFUL HIS RHETORIC IS AND SHE HAS TO ENGAGE A LITTLE BIT TO SAY THIS IS THE WORST ASPECT OF OUR AMERICAN SOUL AND NOT WHAT LINCOLN WOULD CALL THE BETTER ANGELS OF OUR NATURE. SHE SHOWS SHE IS THE MASTER OF RHETORIC IN A WAY DONALD TRUMP NEVER DREAMED HE COULD BE AND THEN SHE USES IT TO DISPOSE OF HIS ARGUMENTS WHICH ARE A FALSEHOOD AND THIRDLY SHE REMINDS PEOPLE THAT THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS MAN WITH HIS CRICKETING LOGIC JUMPING FROM SUBJECT TO SUBJECT AND DO WHAT I DO AND I THINK AT
