Eagles Looking To Make SHOCKING TRADE? Devin White BENCHED And OUT! + Saquon Barkley HYPE Is Real!

Intro wow so we just got some shocking news ahead of  the Eagles opener vers the Packers as not only   is linebacker Devon white surprisingly out for  the week one match up with an injury but some   unexpected reports have come out suggesting that  white may have actually lost his starting job even   before the injury and one report in particular  also says that the birds might be looking to make   a shocking trade involving white but How likely  is it that these reports are true meanwhile the   Eagles have officially departed for Brazil and the  San Barkley hype is only grown ladder as multiple   of Barkley's teammates and even his head coach  recently expressed excitement for him to make   his debut as it seems like he's going to take  the bird's offense to the next level so let's   talk about that and all the other latest Eagles  news starting right now hey guys welcome to the   Eagles Have DEPARTED For Brazil! Philly fan 21 Channel if you're new I'm Evan and  I cover all things Philadelphia Eagles and as of   this morning the birds are officially on their  way to Brazil for their season opener against   the Packers as the team's about 11-hour flight  departed at 10:00 a.m. this morning and they're   currently in the air as I record this an eagles  director a travel Dan Ryan laid out the plan to   keep the guys right during this long flight saying  quote the goal is to keep the guys comfortable   but also to keep keep our body clocks on the same  time so we will fly out at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday   and get there around 10: p.m. South Pala was  1 hour ahead of Philadelphia that will help   on the back end when we return too so hopefully  everything goes according to plan and the trip   goes smoothly but before the trk to South America  began the Eagles and Hoy Roseman made a couple of   Eagles DROP Caden Sterns And Kevin Foelsch! seemingly last minute changes to their practice  squad ahead of the week one opener as they dropped   a few guys being tight end Kevin folch and also  safety Caden Sterns which I personally think is   pretty disappointing because Sterns is someone who  I was excited about when they signed him during   training camp because when he was on the field  in Denver he was somebody who was able to make   an impact and at times change the game but the  guy has just dealt with so many serious injuries   and even now he has yet to really practice with  the Eagles as far as I know due to being hurt so   I don't know I'd say look for Sterns to possibly  return to the practice squad at some point because   he is a guy who has talent but if this is the last  that we see of him it is certainly unfortunate how   things played out but now getting to the additions  that the Eagles made to the practice squad the   Jack Driscoll RETURNS To Practice Squad! bird signed wide receiver Kyle Phillips who spent  his first two years in the league with the Titans   but he hasn't really done too much logging just 23  catches for 259 yards in two seasons but he also   does have experience returning punts so at best he  seems like a replacement for Brit cvy if he gets   hurt but more than likely he probably won't do  too much and then the more notable move was that   they brought back a guy who had previously spent  four years with the team in offensive tackle Jack   Driscoll and if you guys remember Driscoll is  somebody who has played a lot of football for   the Eagles over the years including starting in 17  games and although sure he hasn't been great he's   been what I would consider to be a solid backup  offensive lineman someone who I just think brings   good depth and EXP experience to the offensive  line and really it's no surprise that the Eagles   made this move after Driscoll was cut by the  Dolphins to just bring him back and I'm glad   they did because again I think he's a solid depth  piece for the offensive line and somebody who the   Eagles also have plenty of experience with however  if we're being honest I mean this isn't what we   Dallas Goedert Has HIGH EXPECTATIONS For Eagles Offense! all are thinking about or really care about  right now as we're just 2 days away from an   actual Eagles football game being played and the  hype is only continuing to build as we're going to   get our first glimpse of what this team actually  is going to look like in the 2024 25 NFL season   and all the new aspects of this team that that  have been talked about all offseason are finally   going to be put on display for us to see and one  of those things is the Eagles new look offense   that is under new leadership from Kell Moore  and that features a ton of explosive weapons and   Playmakers and while fans are certainly excited to  see it in action the players themselves are also   excited too and one of them in tight end Alis SCD  recently made a declaration regarding the offense   just a few days out from the opener in Brazil yeah  it's really exciting you know you get to the first   game and uh the coaches really start game planning  hard and not just running the base plays they put   in the plays that they think are going to work  the best and um you know we got a incredible op   offense and you know the sky is the limit for us  so it's just going to be exciting to see if we   can put it all together uh things that we need to  work on you know it's the first game there's going   to be mistakes but um we got to go out there and  prove uh what we can do obviously as if we get a   win uh if we have more points than them that'll  be uh the biggest thing but uh you know with the   offense the capabilities we have hopefully we can  score a lot of points and uh let our defense pin   their ears back and get after the quarterback  that's a ideal that's kind of I feel like the   best way we can play football so hopefully we can  uh run the scoreboard up safe to say that GD and   the rest of the offense have very high hopes for  what they can do this year and I just cannot wait   to see them in action because on top of how good  they look on paper they also seem to have jailed   well in training camp and the chemistry seems good  plus as Godard put on display there they are very   confident and as long as they stay focused that  can only help them throughout this season and   The Saquon Barkley HYPE Is Growing! (ft. Smitty, Goedert) hey when you have as stacked a cast of weapons as  the Eagles have why shouldn't they be confident   and one of the reasons for that confidence is star  running back saquon Barkley as after all the crazy   hype since the bird signed him back in March in  just two short days we will finally get to see   him in action in an eagle's uniform for the first  time and all the speculation about how good he's   going to be in this offense can stop as we'll  actually get to see it firsthand and it sounds   like everybody in that Eagles locker room is so  fired up for Sean and just like the fans they   cannot wait to see what he's going to do either  as guys like Dallas Goddard and Devonte Smith both   expressed their excitement about Barkley's debut  yeah I'm really excited uh to have him in the   building you know uh the last six years I got to  see him twice a year uh watch him do some of the   most amazing things I've seen a running back do on  the field um and just uh he fits so well into our   offense and I'm really glad he's here he's going  to be a lot of fun to play with I'm just excited   de I tell him all the time he's he's a superhuman  um so excited to see the show so this only just   adds to the saquin Barkley hype even more I mean  Smitty said it there he's super human and again   it's just going to be so so exciting to watch  him in the seagull offense that like Goddard says   he fits really well into and just to add on the  excitement even further Goddard and Smitty aren't   the only ones fired up about saquin as head coach  Nick siani recently had this to say about him   Nick Sirianni FIRED UP About Saquon Barkley! yeah uh yeah I mean he he made a run at practice  yesterday and I just remember like I I was wearing   sunglasses it was sunny I was just kind of looking  taking my sunglasses off and looking at a couple   coaches I'm like all right this is awesome you  know that we that we got him here not only for   the play that he brings to the field and the cut  that he made yesterday at practice but also his   leadership and and the person yeah Nick is right  I mean this is just awesome and it's not just just   Barkley's skill or play on the field that makes  him a great addition his leadership is also very   valuable as well and something that clearly has  already had a positive impact on the team but   now that we know how everyone else feels about  Barkley making his debut in just a couple days   Saquon Barkley Is EXCITED To Debut And ELEVATE The Eagles Offense! let's listen to how saquon himself feels to make  this for real a week one what are the emotions   um yeah emotions are high I'm super excited um  for an opportunity finally to go out there with   my teammates uh get to do something that no one's  in NFL has ever done before playing South America   um so all that you know I look it as a blessing  and hopefully go out there get the job done yeah   like you said hopefully the birds are able to get  the job done and also hopefully sequin has a great   game and personally I feel really good about the  chances of both of those things happening I mean   all offseason the hype around saquin has been  there and for good reason cuz this is one of the   very best running backs in the entire league and  he's never been surrounded with Elite offensive   weapons before or had a good offensive line so  now that he has both of those things defenses just   can't game plan to stop him the way that they used  to when he was on the Giants just because all the   other threats the Eagles offense poses cuz if they  go all out and trying to shut down Barkley then   they got to worry about AJ brown or Dallas scard  or just any of the other weapons that the Eagles   have and you also can't forget about Jaylen Herz  in the running game and pairing him with Barkley   and read option or RPO type of plays presents an  almost impossible decision for defenses to make so   just overall I mean again I just cannot wait to  watch the Eagles offense with Barkley this year   as I've been saying all offseason that I think he  takes them to another level and personally I mean   I got Barkley scoring the first touchdown for the  Eagles this season but what what do you guys think   just how excited are you to watch Barkley for the  first time in an Eagles uniform and also who do   you got score in the first touchdown of the Season  let me know your thoughts down in the comments but   Eagles RELEASE Injury Report! ankle injury and it was reported that he didn't  even travel with the team down to Brazil and this   in itself is pretty surprising because white  kind of popped up out of nowhere on the injury   report yesterday and now today has been declared  officially out meaning that NCO and Zack Bon are   going to be the starters but this situation gets  a whole lot crazier because based on other reports   it sounds like that combo of Dean and bond might  have been slated to start anyway with Jeff mlan   reporting that noobe Dean was set to be the team's  starting Mike linebacker before white even popped   up on the injury report and then he went on to say  that Dean had beat white out in training camp and   that it's unclear what role if any they had for  white on defense and man you can count me super   confused cuz that just doesn't make any sense I  mean you seriously are going to tell me that after   an entire training camp of Devon white starting  at the linebacker position and taking first team   reps there and also talking in press conferences  as if he was going to be the starter that now   all of a sudden he's not expected to start or even  possibly not even have a role on this defense like   that just makes very little sense and to say that  ncoe Dean beat at White is also kind of surprising   because again white was always taking the first  team reps in practice over noobe Dean and then   Dean would rotate in some but more often with  Zack Bon than with white and also in the preseason   white only played a little bit in the first  two games and started in both while Dean came   off the bench and played a lot more snaps now I'm  not saying that Dean doesn't deserve to start or   have a role in this defense because I think does  and he was probably the team's most impressive   linebacker for the second half of camp but it just  always felt like Devon White's starting spot was   never really in question so to hear this is very  surprising and I'm definitely questioning the   legitimacy of these reports if I'm being fully  honest but things don't stop there as a report   Eagles Considering TRADING Devin White? from Albert Breer made things even crazier as  he said quote there were murmurs that the Eagles   could trade Devon white before the cutdown Zack  Bond and akobe Dean both were really good in Camp   so fair or not white missing the opener won't help  his case for a big role in the defense and this   just makes things even more confusing because  now we're talking about potentially trading a   guy who up until today was thought to be a clear  starter on the defense and it's not even like the   Eagles have a ton of great proven depth at the  linebacker position like I do believe in akobe   Dean but the fact of the matter is he has yet to  prove that he can be a consistent and effective   starting linebacker and Zack Bon has never been a  starter in this league either and he even switched   positions to be an off ball linebacker this summer  so if it were me even if he's not a starter I   would keep Devon W around as he's also a leader in  the locker room and he brings value that way but   that's also his assuming that all this is true and  I just don't even know if I can believe it because   all the evidence this summer would tell you that  white was clearly going to be a starter so this   will certainly be an interesting situation to  monitor over the next few weeks personally I just   think this is another example that shows you that  the eagles need to Value the linebacker position   more but I guess we'll see what happens in regards  to White Once he's healthy but what do you guys   think do you buy all these reports talking about  white not starting and also being a potential   trade candidate or do you not you can let me know  your thoughts down in the comments and also you   Outro can give me your thoughts on anything else that I  talked about in this video heading into the Friday   night match up with the Packers as well and also  while you're at it make sure you guys subscribe   and also again really really importantly turn on  notifications so you're notified instantly when   one of these videos is uploaded and also drop  a like while you're at it just to show some   support it really does help me out a ton again  let's see if we can hit 800 likes today and if   you want to watch another video going over the  eagles's plans for quinon Mitchell among other   things you can check this out right here and now  with all that being said that's pretty much all   I got for this one guys so thank you all so much  for watching and I'll see you in the next video
