Jalen Hurts Makes MAJOR IMPROVEMENT At Eagles Camp 👀 Isaiah Rodgers Looks SPECIAL & Jurgens PRAISED!

Intro wow so Jaylen Herz continues to show out during eagles's training camp as he just broke a camp record while many people including his eagles's teammates have revealed that Herz looks much improved from years prior and that should be a scary thing for NFL defenses meanwhile Eagles quarterback Isaiah Rogers seems to be earning the starting quarterback job opposite of Darius Slay speaking of which slay just said that he believes Rogers is special as he had some tremendous prayers for the former Colts DB plus Center cam Jurgens was called a freak Show by this all proo teammate well we got some updates on the Right Guard battle and whether or not the bird starters will play in the preseason so let's talk about that and everything else from Eagles camp and we won't waste any time let's get straight into it so Devin White Took LESS MONEY To Come To Philly! let's start off with the Eagles new top linebacker Devon white as the former all pro has come here and quickly proven himself to be a valuable piece to what the Eagles are trying to build this season which is of course a Super Bowl champion as in addition to White performing well during training camp on the field he's also already established himself as a leader in the Eagles locker room and someone who's willing to help the other guys on the defense and just the team in general just get better and overall it seems like white is someone who is a true team player and just wants to help the Eagles win and that was further backed up when white made an appearance on the pivot podcast where he said that he took less money to come to the Eagles and help try and win them a Super Bowl you know I'm making I took less to come here you know when free agent started I got some bigger offers you know from other teams and you know toy knew I wanted to do a one-year deal cuz I got to you know I got to get what on worth at the end of the day so you know I took less cuz I felt like it was a better situation so you know it ain't even that let you know it ain't about the money never been about the money it's just about the right situ sitation the right environment and being able to have fun rather taking such and such with another team that don't have the pieces around to even allow me to become even better you know you come here you got Jordan Davis you got jayen Carter you got Bryce Huff you got Josh sweat guys up front that's really holding it down and if you know when the practice I'm trying to tell you so it's like it's pieces here so it's like and another thing I looked at it like man if I come here and be a dominant middle linebacker that they they ain't never had that like you know and not knocking the guys that's been here before but I know what I bring and I know what they haven't had so if I come here and handle my business that can turn into some long term and it's still around a great team you know the the great team that's here now going to still be here if I sign long term you know what not so all that play the factor so glad to hear that white has high expectations for this year and also that he thinks highly of the guys around him on that defense and he also alluded to the fact that he could see himself here long term as well and if he gets back to being the for he was from the linebacker position that he was just a few years ago in Tampa then that honestly sounds amazing to me but Bryce Huff MAKING STRIDES At Camp! moving on to somebody else that is going to be here for the semi longterm is the Eagles new Edge Defender Bryce Huff although for him to live up to his three-year deal worth over $50 million he's going to have to do a few things that he hasn't really had to do in his NFL career yet and that's be a consistent every down player and somebody who is also able to stop the run at a high level and based on what he said on Tuesday it sounds like he's on the right track to becoming both of those things feel like I'm progressing well like just coming out out every day putting in the work uh getting better with the guys I feel like I'm coming along well how do you feel you've acclimated yourself against the run I feel like I'm doing doing good uh especially with with uh coach Vic and and Coach wash give me things to work on every day uh staying on top of my technique and just H it in every day so glad to hear that Huff is progressing and also handling his new role well because the Eagles are really going to be heavily relying on him to be effective this year to be both one of their top pass rushers and just a consistent presence on the defensive line and they're also going to be CJ Gardner-Johnson MESSES UP Eagles Prank! heavily relying on another new add in CJ gner Johnson to be effective on the back end of the defense although for the Eagles admin relying on CJ not to mess up this prank didn't work out too well give myone give my money give me my money what are you talking about give me my money give my money [Music] yeah I I yeah hopefully he's a bit more reliable on the field this season than he was there but all jokes aside it's definitely awesome to see the guys having fun during training camp and also BG's laugh is just so [Music] hilarious now the Eagles got back out in CJGJ Out Of Practice the practice field on Wednesday and what was their final practice before their preseason opener against Baltimore on Friday and not practicing once again was CJ Gardner Johnson as he continues to recover from that shoulder injury that he suffered on Monday so CD has now missed the last two practices with that injury but based on all reports he really shouldn't be out for too much longer as the injury is apparently not a serious one so hopefully we see him back out there soon and hopefully we also get Nick Sirianni Talks About Starters Playing In Preseason! to see the starters in the preseason just really briefly whether that be on Friday or in one of the birds other two preseason games now Nick serani was at the podium this morning where he was asked whether the starters would play on Friday night and he gave a typical Nick serani answer we'll see I mean again you go through these practices you go through the week we've had a good three days of practice looking to get our fourth one in here today we got to see what it's like uh after this and where guys are feel how guys are feeling yeah so there you go as expected he wouldn't say whether they would play or not I personally hope that we at least get to see them for one Series in one of the games but I guess we'll just have to wait and see and another thing we'll Mekhi Becton OVERTAKING Tyler Steen? just have to wait and see on is the starting Right Guard job as the battle between Makai beckon and Tyler Steen has really took a turn this week has Tyler Steen returned from his ankle injury but has mainly taken second team reps while beckon is the one who has been the starter both yesterday and today which definitely shows a shift from before ste's injury where he was getting all the first team reps to Right Guard so you might think that with the way things look now that beckon has kind of stolen that spot from Steen and is now the favorite to start there however Nick siani says that just because beckton has been taking the first team reps recently that doesn't necessarily mean that he's ahead of Steen in the battle we don't have to make a decision quite on that yet uh obviously they're still battling for for uh you know to who's going to play at that that position uh really really have high hopes for both of them and we'll see how that plays out four he had all the all the Reps at first team Right Guard well how many yeah you know we're still we're still it's not a shift we're still battling then they were battling before before that as well regardless of regardless of the Reps so it sounds like these two are still very much fighting for that job against one another and according to Nick they were battling even before Steen got injured so again this is just something we're going to have to wait and see on but it is definitely interesting that beckon is now taking first team reps over Steen which just was not happening before steen's ankle injury so the battle is clearly only Heating up meanwhile at the Eagles WR3 Update! wide receiver 3 position it seems like we kind of got our answer as to what would happened yesterday with Kell Mo seemingly saying that the birds are planning to use a variety of different guys at that spot depending on the situation but that doesn't mean that the guys are not competing hard at training camp or that a few of them haven't been standing out recently and I'm talking about one rookie Johnny Wilson who started out as the team's wide receiver three at the beginning of practice today which continues a trend of him taking a lot of first team reps and then you also got Britton cvy who made a really impressive play today as he caught around a 25y pass between two Defenders so I'm just personally hyped to watch the receivers in the preseason to see which ones stand out and I'm also hyped Lane Johnson Calls Cam Jurgens a FREAK SHOW! to watch the new starting center cam Jergens this season and from what we've heard so far it sounds like cam is having a good camp and he's ready both physically and mentally to take on this new role now yesterday I talked about how his communication with jayen Herz has been getting better and better and their chemistry has been growing quickly but Lane Johnson also had some really interesting comments on Jurgens as he went on WIP radio and laid out some high expectations for the third-year center saying quote I think he can be elite when you look at cam in the second level probably one of the better players I've seen in space he can press squat 550 pounds cam was a shot putter in college cam is a freak Show so that just gets me so so excited about Jurgens because I trust Lane Johnson's judgment due to the fact that one he himself is a multi-time All Pro offensive lineman and he's done it at a high level for a very long time so he knows what it takes to be elite at this level and he also did have a front row seat to watch one of the greatest centers in the history of football in Jason Kelce for the entirety of his career so if Lane thinks cam has what it takes to be elite then I trust him and I just can't wait to watch him take over the center position and execute at a high level and speaking of executing at Jalen Hurts IMPROVING At Camp! (BREAKS RECORD) a high level somebody who has been doing that all Camp long is qb1 jayen Herz and he just broke a training camp record today as he continues to look improv from years prior so we're going to talk about all that and so much more in just a minute but real quick I do want to say if you are enjoying this video and don't want to miss any other eagles training camp coverage or Eagles coverage coming in the future make sure you subscribe and also really really importantly turn on notifications so you're notified instantly when one of these videos is uploaded I think that's a win-win for the both of us because not only do I get more people consistently watching these videos but you guys don't miss any other eagles coverage just like this trust me you're not going to want to miss any of the content we got coming on this channel so again make sure you subscribe turn on notifications and also drop a like Down Below on this video let's see if we can hit 800 likes today and now with all that being said let's get back into the video so as I was saying jayen Herz continued his incredible training camp today on what was a very special day for him as first first off it was Herz 26th birthday so happy birthday to him and also Herz was just surgical once again during practice and he also broke a training camp record as Jaylen now officially has the longest streak of pass attempts without an interception during Eagles training camp breaking the previous record of 157 now these stats are all kept by reporter Elliot Shore Park so this only applies to the period of time that he's been covering camp but still this is just another thing that goes to show you just how good jayen has been during camp and specifically today he made some really nice plays including a great throw to tight end Grant calcatera up the seam for around 20 plus yards in seven on sevens and then later he had a really good touchdown throw to Dallas GD from around 15 to 20 yards out as he laughed the ball over a Defender and he also had a really good third down conversion to Devonte Smith over the middle and overall herdz finished the day 11 for 16 with a touchdown and once again zero interceptions and really with each passing day of camp the more it seems like Jaylen has gotten even better than he has been in the past and tight end Dallas Goddard seems to agree with that you know in my opinion he's he's continued to make strides um you know whether he changes the play uh getting through his reads um but I think he looks really good this year um same thing every time I see him throw one of those deep balls to AJ or Smitty uh the way he can throw those is is unreal it's fun to see those every time so it's just awesome to hear that jaylen's teammates seem to see improvement from him too and it sounds like he's really gotten better in multiple areas of his game this offseason I mean you heard Godard mention there that his deep ball looks great and he's also getting through his progressions quicker and it's also been reported by multip multile guys during camp that Hurtz has been staying in the pocket more often and checking it down rather than unnecessarily leaving the pocket and trying to scramble prematurely so it's just so exciting to hear that Jen just seems to be getting better and continuing to take steps in this game and at this point with the way that he's looked at camp and with the addition to saquon Barkley and also with Kell Moore revamping and improving the offense I'm just expecting massive things from jayon this year and I wouldn't be surprised if he's very much in the mixed win MVP by the season ends and it wouldn't shock me if he wins it either but now getting back to some Camp Isaiah Rodgers Looks SPECIAL! (ft. Darius Slay) battles it's seems like linebacker has pretty much been decided at this point with Zack Bon starting once again and then at slot cornerback quinon Mitchell was starting there again so it seems like the rookie could very well be on his way to earning the starting job there and then a cornerback it seems like Isaiah Rogers could be starting to semi- run away with that battle as he started again for the sixth straight day and seventh overall and it really does seem like the eagles really like what they've seen out of him so far during camp and so is Darius Slay as he had some really high praise for his fellow quarterback after practice uh that my impressions of him been a that is he's not as fast as me he's can be the second fastest on the team that's cool uh but other than that uh athletic special you know he can do uh special teams he a great returner um guy got speed uh he could track the ball very well uh he's getting way way better in his press technique so uh I've been watching him lately man he been doing a great job man and uh for him to be sitting out for a whole year to come in like that and still be on top of his game it's a good feeling so that's pretty awesome to hear because not only did slay call Rogers special but he also said that he's been improving so it certainly sounds like slay is confident in Roger's ability to contribute to the defense at a high level this season and if he does start which it seems like he's currently on track to do so I just cannot wait to see how he looks cuz I really do think he's going to be great and I'm very confident in him now today was the Eagles last Outro practice before their first preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens and I'm going to be covering everything from that game as well as the rest of the Eagles preseason and Eagles training camp and then obviously once we get into the regular season as well so make sure you guys subscribe and also turn on notifications so you don't miss any other videos covering the Eagles just like this and also while you're at it make sure you drop a like to show some support if you did enjoy this video I'd greatly appreciate it and it really does help me out so much and also leave a comment down below just regarding anything that I talked about in this video and if you want to watch another video recapping practice from yesterday you can check this out right here and now with all that being said that's pretty much all I got for this one guys so thank you all so much for watching and I'll see you in the next video
