commissioner SS that was impressive what did you make of it yeah look it was a really good turnaround which we needed Hoops you know last week we were well below you know the standard that we've um you know set this year so I thought the guys did a really good job with their prep during the week and um yeah it's really happy with how we played for the bul of the game I think it was um you real team performance you know we lost Sai early as well and obviously turo towards the back end of the game so that's pleasing um I still feel like we've got a little bit more in US but um it gives us a chance you know go back to May next week and um you continue to S try and find our um you know best football and you know footy that can win some some finals games the question everyone in rugby league is asking is how is Tommy yeah so it's AC joint um so he'll definitely miss next week um from what I understand um but he'll get an x-ray or scan um he will be right for around one of the finals um it is something that you can take the pain away so um look I don't think you'll be right for next week but um you know that that'll be sort of I suppose um you verified through the the X-ray or the MRI and um and we'll put a plan together for him but um yeah we um you we'll make sure we look after him and and um yeah all going well he'll be right to go again what went through your head when you saw it unfold uh I didn't actually know straight away about his AC like he CED C to his shin earlier and he was hobbling around a little bit and then um obviously the line break I think it might have been Preston's line break he C you know um a split to his head um but he also HT his AC at the same time so um he was in the wars a little bit tonight but yeah the good thing is you know those tops two injuries aren't um season ending um there's some pain there and he'd be a bit sore and sorry I'd imagine for the next few days but um yeah we're going well from what I understand he'll be available for for week one how's he how's he motion been a long journey to 150 games against him he looked quite distraught coming up the TT um yeah I think um it was a lovely presentation yesterday um you know his mommy's partner um and a couple of Life members of our club um war bulmer and and Brett Stewart presented um him his jersey and just looking at the hollow like that probably were um you know it was hard to keep down to any two and a half minutes of highlights for Turbo um but they did a good job with that so look it was really yeah it was really pleasing he's he's fought really hard he's been really diligent as a pro there's been a lot of hurdles along the way but um yeah was pleasing um we get a result for him tonight always 2020 but when he was struggling with the knee injury and he got that strapped up at any point did to think I might just pull him off to protect him at all or was it um no because the there was not like the knee injury they said it was stable um you know so I can only go on sort of the medical um but it's a nice on as I said it's not it's it's not season ending it's not like a you know um and that sort of yeah too hard to sort of play with but he won't play next week from what I understand positive is that you've got options in terms of yeah leehi was great tonight to returned as well yeah you're right like um leehi has been a real fine for this year he's again I thought in really good you know um you know opposition team there I thought he played some really good for again um and to is you know maybe what three weeks back from his MCL himself so you know he's ready to go so um yeah we got a couple good options there is there harder injury to see in R League than when Tom walks off the field yeah um well as a teammate yeah it's definitely hard to watch um but just knowing the deter and the desire he'll have to get back soon um I know it's going to be all right for him but yeah it's obviously just not ideal anytime you see him go down um he's a big part of the club um we all love him and um I hope that showed in our performance tonight as his Milestone so um yeah as SES mentioned it's not something um too serious um so that's a positive and we know what Tom's going to be like he's just going to get into his work and be back as soon as possible for us see is part of the challenge to though like he'd been in last month so he'd been hitting the line with confidence instead of like looking like he did a couple of years ago in play that confidence like if he's carrying a shoulder injuries the concern whether he's able to do that through the formuls well it's yeah it's it's an AC injury but as I said like pain management um you know so you can needle them up and play which um I'm sure he'll do but you know we'll get the scan tomorrow just to confirm what the medical stuff think and um yeah we got really long turn around next week um and then you I'm not sure when we playing week one but um yeah there's there's a little bit of time there um but he's tough and he'll be right to play how's um how's Jason yeah he's a High um ankle sprain so he'll get a scan um that can be quite nasty those ones so I'm just not as confident on Sai but um until we get the scan and sort of see yeah how serious it is um but it was a hip drop tackle that hurt him um yeah so it's an awkward one yeah he's not real in there to be fair do you like say report for aop tackle you lose a player the game po long do you have a view on oh I don't think they saw it at the time so look I was put on report maybe the set after something like that so it's hard to go back and ID someone um but you know the Met Review Committee will look at it and they do a thorough job with that ju Just on your mat LOD in his first game back from injur in t the tone they said ear yeah no they did that that was the opportunity for them to get better like um you know we made a couple changes there I thought we got a response off the back of um you a couple of changes but um yeah the guys trained with a real purpose and intent during the week and um yeah you know we were much better than than last week which was pleasing how much confidence I know great but how much confidence is L Brooks playing at the moment he had a hand in two Tri one on strip that up one after half time just of like the way he's playing ahead of his first final Series yeah it probably chz yeah well he's playing good footy no doubt about that and it's great to see him grow in confidence and I think it's only natural when you go to a new club you got to take time to find your feet um I don't think he took long to find his feet but it's just as the year's gone on he's felt more and more comfortable and with that um yeah he's just taking it on taking games on so I'm really happy for him um he gets to play finals fo0 this year and I know how happy he is about that so um yeah it's a good time for brooksy and a good time for the club how important was tonight's win just in the context of your season there you get to go to bookville host Corella Sunday and if you win we you secure home yeah it's all to play for isn't it you know and it is you know not even not even for those reasons here I think um yeah we were really disappointed in last week like you know we jumped out to an early lead and then we just yeah we just didn't manage um to be at our best you know defensively for the bulk of that game um you know so we wanted a response and the guys are great like you know chz and um Jakey and Sero really focused the group during the week of training and um that real purpose and intent and you know so in the context of the Season it was good to bounce back you know and put a good performance in you know um bulldogs have obviously been really consistent this year they're the best defensive team in a lot of areas so to be able to score 30 OD points against them was was pleasing um yeah it was a good bounce back I thought this year
