this is the Big O [Music] show this is the Big O [Music] show right right all right how you feeling baby you feeling good feeling feeling okay I'm doing dealing with a little bit of a sinus issue but you know I'll get over it brother okay all right good stuff so you're you uh you're going to watch the game or you going to go to the game no I'm going to watch the game from home I'm going to you know I don't have to go to these every single game anymore oh it's I mean these are these are kind of the time this is the time of year to to sit at the couch at home and watch a bunch of games Brother this is the time of year to do that you know last four and a half years doing this yeah I go to whatever game I feel like going to that's it bro yes you know it's it's uh the freedom I have now oh doggy it is uh it is priceless so I I feel you when you when you don't have cuz really what's there to cover this week I mean come on bro this is like Club seals you know sorry FAMU but I mean I'm sorry this you know this is come on this is not something that uh that uh that that should be a challenge um but you know what it is an opportunity for a lot of young guys too and that's the good thing that um Mario will get a great chance and I'm sure every other assistant coach will get great chance to get some of their backups in late in that second quarter into the second half all of that kind of stuff so that way they could get some of those guys some important playing time and I think that might be a theme that you might see a lot over the next couple of weeks yeah I mean I think certainly that's that's the way it's shaping up to be and I think one thing fans need to know um as far as the red red shirt rule is concern you can play up to four regular season games plus the bowl game the old rule used to be just four games for the whole season now it's four games plus the bll game and they changed the rule in part because so many guys were opting out of the Bull game in the past and they didn't want to burn guys' red shirts so I think you know guys that uh you saw some freshman get into the game last week I think those same guys are probably not on a path to being red shirted I think guys that you didn't see last week are probably guys that you may see in this game because this may be one of those rare opportunities for them to actually get in the game same thing next week against Ball State um but if you're if you're doing the uh well who's going to play this year among the Freshman headcount go back to last week look at the snap counts those guys are probably not getting [ __ ] um the guys who didn't play last week are so this is the way the math works by the way folks remember if uh you want to root on your canes looking sharp go to Canes Weare one go that one does just cuz you got a little B that aqua color I mean the uh the light blue or whatever that is that blue so I had to go with it you know what I'm saying but again kees wereare are going to play uh this week I would suspect same thing probably with Ryan Rodriguez depending on how bad the ankle was those were the three guys that were that were basically uh on the injured list um following the game uh I I would suspect they'll get the week off um and like I said Bane probably not till Virginia Tech game in my mind or maybe the USF game so right get get him ready for Virginia Tech by giving him some reps right against USF that's that actually makes a lot of sense right so I think you know they made it out they made it out alive of Gainesville pretty pretty well when you think about it considering they supposedly face an SEC team so uh we'll see what happens uh this week but um trying to preserve bodies brother like I said it's a 16 Game season now if you're trying to win a National Championship so uh I would I would suspect you get guys rotated in and out plenty the next couple weeks yeah no I know I I I gotta deal with Dolphin fans they kind of feel like their team is the only one that suffers injuries any you know it's really everywhere it's just kind of the way it goes uh it just happens that way by the way way uh after what happened it how how's the ice for Billy Napier how thin is it well I mean look if they were to fire them in season it would cost them a little more than 26 million uh so I I suspect and my thought going into the season was they would wait uh for that price to drop a little bit before they before they did it they owe him 85% of his contract whenever it's due um but you know you got to think about buyouts for everybody else right coordinators other assistant coaches uh staffers all that kind of stuff so I think he's on thin eyes I think the only way he saves his job at this point is if they go at least 500 the rest of the season and I don't know that they're capable of doing that um so I would suspect that at the end of the year he'll be let go and uh the right now if I'm them I'm trying to find the next coach that's what I'm spending the next uh couple months doing looking for that guy right now yeah yeah well at least you got the Periscope up and then you're looking to see if there's a up upand cominging offensive defensive coordinator you can go get although again I think for those kind of programs you want to go get that established coach like yeah I think I think without question that's what they want I you know I think they're going to try to go with a proven established power power four coach not a guy who's uh you know a coordinator or a group of five head coach I think you you kind of always end up going the opposite of what you did the last time I think in this case they will go proven head coach uh like Miami did so do I take the canes on the money line minus 100,000 for this week's game you're asking me what is the spread do they even have it against an FCS team minus 100,000 so if I bet like a hundred I bet I win like a buck or something I don't know yeah yeah I would I would not I wouldn't bother this is those kind of games that uh you're 45 and a half right that's I actually think you can lay that but anyways here's the here's the bet I do like the over is 59 and a half right yeah I mean fam used decent FCS team they were 12- one last year uh two and yeah they can they can score points they have some ex uh you know FBS guys X Miami guys what one side puts up 10 and the other side puts up a 50 Burger yeah 5110 sounds like right sounds right to me you know yeah why not but I I it as crazy as it sounds the over 59 and a half sounds good seems doable dude because because Mario Mario won't embarrass people you know he's he's got that kind of class so he's not but and James Coy and James Coy the coach of FAMU has been down to Miami's campus a lot I've seen him at different points so I know I know he's not gonna try to embarrass that guy right but unfortunately he will be forced to because this is the kind of game where you have to run your second team unit and you cannot tell them hey guys don't try and so then it's going to be an opportunity for you to R stuff and unfortunately you're going to put up some points dude just I would suspect I I think the plan is emry Williams is the the third string backup if something serious were to happen to cam Ward then he would replace him um but I would think ree poffenberger would be the guy who gets the majority of the snaps in this game and they probably get the true freshman in there because they're trying to redirt uh emry Williams if possible uh again if there's no serious injury to cam so I don't know how good the offense is going to run with ree pen Barger I don't suspect nearly as good as it would with Cam Ward but uh you know uh that's a that'll be interesting to watch today right the what if scenario well BEC well one thing that I will say is the tight end is GNA get Incorporated in the offense so that'll help a Young quarterback like that those are high percent because you know he's gonna hand off a lot so throw to the running backs throw to the wide receivers because you know we're only gonna see cam maybe a half right why are you gonna even risk playing him anymore you you you should be so comfortably ahead by the end of the half that cam should be able to take the rest you know yeah I think if you're if you're up 35 points he's probably gone you know I said if they're up like 35 points at the half yeah yeah yeah I don't see any point to play them in the second half but you know we'll see what Mario wants okay what Mario wants to do good stuff
