BE CONSUMERS OUTAGE MAP SHOWS MORE THAN 80,000 CUSTOMERS WITHOUT POWER AREAS AROUND CEDAR SPRINGS GREENVILLE IN ROCKFORD ARE STILL WAITING FOR ELECTRICITY TO BE RESTORED. >> NEWS. SO WE'VE BEEN A LOT OF SOME FUN. >> FAMILIES IN THE ROCKFORD AND CEDAR SPRINGS AREA AMONG THE MORE THAN 200,000 PEOPLE STATEWIDE TO LOSE POWER DURING THAT FAST-MOVING DAMAGING STORM TUESDAY AFTERNOON. >> WE WERE DRIVING HOME AFTER PICKING THE KIDS UP FROM SCHOOL AND IT WAS REALLY FIRST, THE ELECTRICITY OUTAGE HITTING ESPECIALLY HARD IN RURAL COMMUNITIES LIKE THOSE IN CORTLAND TOWNSHIP. >> WE UNDERSTAND ESPECIALLY IN A RURAL AREA. A LOT OF CUSTOMERS RELY WELLS FOR WATER AND THEY RELY AND OBVIOUSLY REFRIGERATION FOR ICE AND IT'S BEEN EXTREMELY WARM FOR CRYSTAL AND HER FAMILY. THE OUTAGE WAS ESPECIALLY ILL TIMED AND GETTING MORE AND MORE SERIOUS AS THE HOURS TICK BY. >> HONESTLY, IT'S BEEN SCARY A LITTLE BIT. I JUST GONE GROCERY SHOPPING. SO ALL THE FOOD IS SPOILED. I'M ON A VERY TIGHT BUDGET WITH 5 KIDS. ORIGINALLY IT WAS AT 05:45AM TODAY. BUT THAT'S OBVIOUSLY BEEN PUSHED NOW, 2, I BELIEVE LIKE 01:00AM. >> CONSUMERS TELLING US TODAY THAT THEY HOPE THOSE HARDWORKING RESTORATION CREWS WILL HAVE EVERYBODY BACK TO NORMAL BY THE END OF THE DAY, THURSDAY AND SAID AT THIS MOMENT THEY HAVE NO PLANS TO RETURN TOM
