THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL CHIEFS VS RAVENS DRAFTKINGS PICKS | 09/08/24

man it has been a while but I'm excited to say what's up everybody EAS is back and so is NFL I've been looking forward to this season man y'all know I've been on a Hiatus from making content but I'm really looking forward to getting back to it this NFL season and we got a banger of a matchup to start out with Baltimore going up against Kansas City you know this is a playoff rematch from last year where Kansas actually upset Baltimore so I'm really I'm really excited for this one so let's go ahead pay the bills get the homework out the way like comment subscribe and share hit that Bell icon so you can get all our content as soon as it drops throughout the NFL season Dro in tonight with this showdown video and then tomorrow night I'll drop the uh Friday Night video as well we're going to talk some prize picks later we're going to talk some Underdog as well so lots and lots of NFL content MMA content will be back next week I will probably skip this week for MMA but we'll get MMA content back next week but for this opening night game you know it's the first game of the season so I'm not really focused on stats or like last season what they did because at the end of the day it's the first game of a new season a lot of new things can happen a lot of variance a lot of Randomness can happen in this matchup so my main advice from like week one to like week three is just try some just go ahead make some make some bold picks take stands somewhere if you think a players going to step up this year make a stand because this is the perfect time to get early on some plays before you know they start pricing them right cuz a lot of good plays may be undervalued and we're going to get into a couple of them that I think can actually really pop off in this matchup so let's go ahead and um let's talk some Captain picks first or let's actually talk about the team so you got Kansas City here of course Patrick Mahomes is always always going to be in consideration for captains you got Isaiah Pacho Rasheed rice who should really step up this year as the main guy you got Xavier worthy and then it kind of just goes downhill from there and then Kelsey and Noah gry are both interesting but on the Kansas side of things the captains I'm really looking that are Isaiah Pacho and Patrick momes you could throw a little bit of Kelsey in there too but I feel I'm probably going to be personally using Kelsey more in my Flex spots but PCO I mainly really like him today because I think with p uh with them uh cut uh C can't even talk with Clyde Edwards hair you know kind of out with the PTSD issue perine just got signed not too long ago and Carson steel I think a lot of people are going to be on him this week and for two 200 I mean it's it's not bad like that's just a play you throw in there so you can fit everybody else but I think poo is going to be a Workhorse back here he's really worked on his um ball catching skills too so I can see him being very very involved in the passing game and this matchup and I just feel like that 84 prize tag might be very might be a little bit cheap and then Patrick Mahomes you know if he's spreading the ball around cuz we Tech he Rashid rice could be the number one but after that you know we don't really know who's the next guy that'll step up after you got um rasheid rice and uh Travis Kelsey so could be worthy could be Washington and Watson and you know if Patrick Mahomes is just dissing the ball out he could easily be one of the best captains out there now on the Baltimore side of things Lamar Jackson I mean Lamar Jackson is always one of the best fantasy players you can get out there the dude is he's got that rushing upside he also has that you know deep touchdown upside as well he he can pass the ball I feel like his arm is very underrated he just kind of reminds me of Michael Vic in a lot of aspects you know he can run the ball pretty good but then that arm is so underrated and he can he can launch that thing man so Lamar is always one of my top favorite uh Captain picks you got Derk Henry's over here now Justice Hill he's more of a flex play to me and then you got Z flowers you know he should step up a lot this year and a guy that I'm really looking at is Rashad baitman but we're going to touch on him a little bit more later and uh Mark Andrew 6400 is not a bad captain in 9600 cuz that can really open up a lot for you in your lineups and Justin Tucker is always in consideration as well you know he can get you those long field goals and hey in a match up where it could actually rain a little bit too I don't mind playing Justin Tucker at all but if I was to give out a captain pick for this video as of right now uh I think I think I'mma lock rock with Lamar as my main Captain this week and you got 6,500 but like I said there's value around to make it work now when we talking about the flex positions once you pick your captain then you kind of want to dive into your game theory how do you see this matchup playing out who do you think steps up who do you think will you know have a bigger game than uh bigger game that he's being projected or his lower owned than he should be now just to talk about a few Flex plays that I really like in this matchup I'm not going to talk about the obvious guys like we'll talk about them a little later like the momes the Travis Kel of the world but I really want to focus on this wide receiver room for both teams because I think that's where the money could be made nailing the right right receiver or just that right other guy that snaps in personally I'm a big fan of Rashad baitman tomorrow I just feel like this season is a makeover break year for him in the NFL I got faith in him the guy has that big play Upside he's a decent footballer and the opportunity should be there this year because I mean when you look at that wide receiver room in Baltimore you got Z flowers is the clear number one then the number two spot honestly it should be baitman but from how he's played over the years it's really up for grabs with anybody you got Nelson aalor tylon Wallace you got Dez Walker I'm not really counting Hardy but he can still do something as well and he's quick and real crafty so I do think baitman can step up now 3,400 for agore is super cheap and then Dez Walker is another person where that third wide receiv receiver spot honestly could be anybody in he's the rookie he's a very solid player as well and I I could see him at 2400 having a bigger game than he should so really when it comes to the Baltimore side my main plays are apart from what's his name Lamar Jackson I really like Rashad baitman really like Mark Andrews and then also you could throw in Justin Tucker or somebody now on the Kansas City side of things I've already said I do really really like Pacho tomorrow I think he can have a really big role but another guy I also really like tomorrow is Xavier worthy this guy kind of reminds me of Tyreek Hill and I do think he can get a lot of deep plays tomorrow in that 5800 all it takes is man just catching one to the house and players like him could get 100 yards real quick especially playing with Patrick Mahomes all you got to do is get open he'll find you so 5,800 for Xavier Worthy is really really good and I don't mind throwing in Justin Watson as well cuz he can get those long passes too Noah GR I do like picking him but I I'll talk more about him on the prize picks video cuz I do like his props on prize picks a lot and then of course you know the 200 guy that everybody's kind of side eyeing where is he Carson steel right here he can just make lineups work do I expect him to play a lot no he's kind of like that Meme football player just that Meme player on the team that you throw out there to have a good laugh but he actually has a little bit of talent and can get you a you know get you that Feelgood touchdown where the whole team goes and celebrates with him so he's a he's a quick guy I saw him get a couple touchdowns in um preseason like he can break that line and when when he's gone he's gone so at 200 there's definitely some goal line upside right there and then I don't mind taking it because you throw him in there now look at this all of a sudden you got 10K to work with on this lineup right here you can easily just throw in Patrick Mahomes throw and Kelsey you got 1,00 to work with you can upgrade if you want to you can leave money on the table so he makes he makes your bills easy and he can help you just fit in anything you want so I do like him in that aspect of things but so far though if I'm where to rank my plays right now for this showdown of course Lamar Jackson is my favorite play on the Slate I just love the match up for him I think he could run around this KC defense and I actually think he might get a couple passing touchdowns on in the air too like I could really see Lamar putting up a a huge score at Captain like 25 25 and up and then after Lamar like I said I do like baitman a lot like I just think this is a matchup where he could really shine and then he also can really just step up this season in general and be that guy behind Z flowers or even be the guy in this offense because the Dude is super talented he just needs to put it all together on the field and I I'm I'm rooting for him and I'm I'm banking on him like he's my stand player tomorrow I think he'll he'll be that guy that can really make you some money Mark Andrews always a staple Lamar's go-to guy 6,400 is a cheap price tag I know he spent a lot of time injured last year so coming back this season we're getting a decent discount on him so I'll take it Patrick Mahomes on the Kansas City side Kelsey of course but then apart from those two if you're not not taking Carson steel for the savings I do like Xavier worthy a lot and then uh Isaiah Pacho as well where is worthy yep Xavier worthy like here right here like him a lot and then also like Pacho and I actually don't mind like even fading Kelsey like especially those of you that playing the big gpps like personally I like to play the single entries and 20 Max three Maxes but if you're playing in the big gpps I don't mind it if you fade Kelce and momes and then go for like Pacho and buer to you know get the field goals and all the rushing touchdowns and then you can throw in Z flowers to do like a 4-2 right here with um what's what's his face with uh Baltimore and then you know Derrick Henry is a solid player as well but I want to see how he looks in this offense first before I make any um decisions on him but yeah with that being said though that's how I'm kind of looking at this first game of the Slate hopefully everybody cashes out like always like comment
