HEY, YOU KNOW, WHEN I HEARD THAT THIS WAS COMING OUT, I WAS REALLY SURPRISED WHEN YOU WATCHED THIS. DID CONNOR STALLIONS SAY WHY HE WANTED TO DO THIS AND COME OUT AND TELL ALL? I GUESS, YES. >> WE THROUGHOUT THE MONTHS THAT SINCE THIS STARTED ALMOST A YEAR AGO, WE'VE WE'VE HEARD FROM THE NCAA, WE'VE HEARD ALL THE RUMORS, WE'VE HEARD EVEN SOME LEAKS FROM MICHIGAN, BUT WE REALLY HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING FROM CONNOR STALLIONS. THE PERSON WHO'S AT THE HEART OF THIS, YOU KNOW, HE FELT LIKE FOR A TIME THAT HE COULDN'T SAY ANYTHING FOR HIS OWN COACHING CAREER. HE DIDN'T WANT TO HURT MICHIGAN. SO I THINK HE DID THIS BECAUSE IT WAS HIS CHANCE TO ACTUALLY FINALLY GET HIS SIDE OF THE STORY OUT THERE. >> YOU KNOW, HE SAID HE OBTAINED SIGNALS BY WATCHING VIDEO, BUT THAT HE NEVER ADVANCED. SCOUTED. GIVE US THE DIFFERENCE HERE DEREK. >> SO IT IS LEGAL OBVIOUSLY IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL TO STEAL SIGNALS FROM WATCHING FILM FROM DOING GAME FILM OR DURING YOUR OWN GAMES. YOU CAN LOOK AT THE OTHER TEAM'S SIDELINE AND DECIPHER THEIR SIGNALS, BUT IT IS. YOU KNOW, THE DOCUMENTARY PROVIDED A LOT OF EVIDENCE THAT SUGGESTS OTHERWISE. BUT YEAH, HE'S NOT ADMITTING ANY WRONGDOING. >> YEAH, HE AND HE ENDED UP TALKING TO THE NCAA. >> DID HE SAY WHY HE ENDED UP SITTING DOWN FOR AN INTERVIEW? >> YEAH. THAT WAS SOME OF THE MOST VALUABLE FOOTAGE FROM THE DOCUMENTARY I THOUGHT WAS ACTUALLY CLIPS FROM HIS ZOOM INTERVIEW WITH THE NCAA. HE SAID HE SAID THAT HE HE DID THAT BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT THEM TO ASSUME THAT THE THINGS THAT WERE BEING THROWN OUT THERE WERE THE TRUTH. HE THOUGHT THAT THEY WOULD THEN ASSUME THE WORST AND THAT THEY WOULD FALL BACK AGAINST MICHIGAN. >> I THINK THE BIG QUESTION, THOUGH, I MEAN, AS I WAS KIND OF SCANNING AND LOOKING AND THERE'S YOU HAVE A GREAT ARTICLE AND CLICK ON THAT KIND OF BREAKS EVERYTHING DOWN IS DID ANYONE ELSE KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING? BUT THAT'S NOT SOMETHING THAT WAS REALLY COVERED VERY WELL IN THE DOCUMENTARY, WHICH IS A LITTLE BIT DISAPPOINTING. >> I KNOW YOU ARE A MASSIVE FOOTBALL FAN, DEREK, WHAT SURPRISED YOU MOST OF ALL WHEN YOU WATCHED THIS AND HOW LATE DID YOU STAY UP WATCHING THIS THING? >> WELL, I GOT UP AROUND 3 A.M. TO WATCH IT, BUT YOU KNOW, AS ONE DOES. >> YEAH, EXACTLY. YEAH YOU KNOW, IT WAS JUST SURPRISING CONNOR STALLIONS JUST SEEMS LIKE KIND OF A STRANGE GUY. HE'S, YOU KNO, HE'S DEFINITELY ONE OF A KIND. AND IT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO GET INSIDE HIS HEAD AND TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HE WAS GOING FOR. NO DOUBT HE IS, YOU KNOW, GOOD AT STEALING SIGNS AND HE'S A PASSIONATE FOOTBALL GUY. BUT IT WAS JUST SURPRISING THAT HE DIDN'T TAKE REALLY ANY ACCOUNTABILITY IN THIS. AND HE'S TRYING TO SAY THAT HE DIDN'T HAVE ANY, YOU KNOW, FAULT IN THE SIGN STEALING. >> ALL RIGHT. >> I WANT TO JUMP REAL QUICK FROM YOU, MR. FOOTBALL, TO THE LIONS. THEY'RE MAKING SOME MOVES. SO YOU KNOW LOOKING AT A COUPLE OF KEY POSITIONS LIKE DEFENSIVE LINE, YOU KNOW WE'RE GOING TO SEE WHICH GUYS ARE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BUBBLE. >> YOU KNOW I THINK I'M LIVING IN AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE BECAUSE YOU JUST SAID SUPER BOWL ROSTER AND THE LIONS, I STILL CAN'T QUITE GET OVER EVERYTHING THAT'S HAPPEN WITH THIS TEAM.
