[Music] I have like a bonfire every Friday night just like meditate a little bit play a little music you know just relax setting up the bonfire and I ran out of my normal lighter fluid that I used to soak the wood so I used this other one it was a spray instead of like one that you pour I sprayed it down waited a little bit and I guess the lighter fluid were still in the air so when I lit it up just exploded I saw the fire come from my wrist and then just blow up in my face I didn't really feel the pain cuz it just happened so [Music] fast I diagnosed it as about a 17 to 18% total body surface area burn of a second degree partial thickness probably the most painful burn you can have my recommendation was just to not play I think if I told him look this is absolute noo but David's tough and David wanted to play I was like listen man especially with it being like the Ravens weak I said this is a personal game you know so I'm not going to miss this game I wore a mask to the game you know the outfit that everyone thought was pretty cool and even putting that mask on and taking it off like bits and pieces of my skin on my face would be off when I take it off every time I wrapped up my whole face I put a scheme mask over that and I put my helmet on DTR looks hits and joku cross the middle for the first down across the 40 up to the 45 every single play whether I got the ball or not my helmet hitting my face I felt it every single time when I wasn't even doing anything just a sweat dripping like it were just dang everything was intense if this was me or you off the street it probably wouldn't work because we're human David's another species after the game when I took my helmet off and I looked myself in the face and it was is just tore up he said I want people to see this I want people to understand you know what I went through there was so many DMS and messages of burnt victims that are scared show their phase just went forth to you know just I guess to make them feel a little better about themselves you know things happen mistakes happen and you know you got to just put your best foot forward I think that's one of the messages David wanted to get out was you can't do this alone and so that's why he's into the ABA and and he's and he's donating because it's a very very very difficult Ro to recover [Music] from wow wow no they went crazy this might be the hardest I've ever got in my whole life right here got the flush is weak and this side we got the the picture this side no beautiful R out I appreciate so marker thank you bro much love appreciate you let's get active even fire could not stop you fire was stopping cavemen back in the days it could not stop you put out a quote that's in the Bible the flesh is weak it it really is you know and your mindset your mentality is everything you know the uh the body will follow the mind at the end of the day so whatever your mind CU your body will do it will do no matter what you know so uh I I I really took that uh to heart and you know each week you know whether I was hurting from the Burns or just you know soreness whatever I just put put that behind me and I focus on whatever I can do to help this this [Music] team
