welcome to the first ever Creator classic at East Lake Golf Club just about 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta this week 30 of the best players on the PGA tour will Tee It Up here to close out the season but today the spotlight is on some of the biggest golf content creators in the world the PGA Tour is proud to present live coverage of the Creator classic presented by Blackstone welcome to Atlanta a long history of golf and sports and today we will be adding a new chapter to that here at East Lake Golf Club the oldest golf course in the city of Atlanta established in 1904 and 120 years later it has a new look for today's tournament and the Tour Championship this week as well Jake Marsh alongside Mark imman Mark we have a tremendous tournament format for you today Jake we do around a fantastic restored East L Golf Club 16 players will play eight holes yes eight holes the back nine here at East Lake after eight holes the top four players will advance to the final hole the 18th and then scores will be wiped out so if you in that final fors like the playoffs you just get to go and the those final four players will viy for the title of the Creator classic 16 creators nine difficult holes One champion I'm Jake he's Mark Dan Rapaport Hal lead better Joel Damon from the PGA Tour and Bradford Wilson will be roaming the course throughout the afternoon and now let's send it down to the 10th T to Jana Jenkins the executive director of the first te from Metro Atlanta good afternoon ladies and gentlemen welcome to the inaugural Creator classic presented by Blackstone the ceremonial opening t- shots will be hit today by Sam rigs ban Frank Frankie burelli and Trent [Applause] Ryan first up from St Charles Missouri by way of Harvard University Sam rigs baz baz there you go [Music] [Applause] rggs of course from forl let's see if he can pipe one down the middle on this one shot all right all right nice free pass there you heard the commentary goes well the balls on the tea that's the first win because these guys the heart is pounding all right off to the right but next on the team from the kitchen of barelli's restaurant Frankie burelli the number one New York Islanders fan in the world that's what I'm calling him Frankie burelli the lefty well he's seen his buddy Miss off to the right hand side your heart is racing right now oh he loves it piped and it hangs on in the Fairway all right Frankie and last but not least to the te born at nearly 14 lbs from Cedar Rapids Iowa Trent Ryan Trent Ryan broke 90 For the First Time just a few weeks ago and here he is on the t- box with some issues teeing up the golf ball Mark uh no jokes folks your hands are shaking he's like I need help Frankie is going to assist Trent pumping up the [Applause] crowd nice SAR spot is rator classic is underway so the Fourplay guys get get us going and we are officially underway in the Creator classic so much pressure on those guys just one shot each and they were under the spotlight there as we have about s minutes to go until the first te absolutely we're watching The Players warm up there on the entire Golf Course has been restored since last year's TOUR Championship and one major change is this driving range which used to have water off the foreground of the uh of the hitting area the practice te that has been removed so these guys and girls will up do not have to worry about balls going in the water down there but you speak of the vibe here on the first T I mean how about the fan support that are showing up this afternoon yeah thousands of fans 16 content creators following four forom and that's a whole other layer to this thing Mark these guys and girls play in front of millions of viewers on YouTube but the physical presence there's thousands of people all over the course yeah 16 players in this field that was Gabby golf girl you just saw earlier just 16 years old there's the forplay crew there's Tyler Tony from Dude Perfect he will be part of our first group teeing off at 4:12 in just about 5 minutes so much Buzz surrounding this event and we want to welcome you inside the PGA Tour Studios alongside the one and only Mark imman I'm Jake Marsh thanks for joining us this afternoon well Mark the countdown is over the first ever Creator classic is underway and the big motion for this event is merging the PGA Tour and some of the biggest golf content creators in the world oh it's an idea that's been a long time coming to be honest with you and to have this happen at the tour finale where we have the top 30 golfers from the season from the PGA Tour on hand to start their TOUR Championship tomorrow yet we open it with a day like today with all this fun with all these big personalities around a big golf course it is going to be all sorts of fun yeah recently restored it is going to be difficult if there's one thing we've heard from the press conferences of the 30 players playing here at East Lake this week man oh man these 16 content creators are in for a difficult task they truly are and the thing about this golf course with the restoration the holes have changed shape the greens certainly been moved and change shaped with new greens they play awfully firm so because of these firm greens I feel that just ratchets up the challenge even more so you these guys and girls are going to have a very tough time and as I look at this I've been looking down the list of players doing my research doing my swing analysis you know what I do and I've had my name my eye on a few names I'm looking at Luke Quan I'm looking at Brad dokey the OU boys from good good but then you know I'm an older brother to a master's Champion so I've got an affinity to older brothers so I'm going George briyan knock off Wesley to win the whole thing but keep your eye on Amy Cho I think of the Ford T's two-time All America former professional golfer I feel like she might be a handful for some all right so there are plenty of different picks plenty of great golfers that will be participating in this event and we are just a couple of minutes away from beginning this fantastic tournament as you get an overhead look at East Lake just 10 months ago this place was completely rebuilt from the ground up and the restoration was committed to environmental stewardship all over the place we do that I went for a walk around Friday afternoon last week it's the first time I'd seen it since last year's TOUR Championship and with Alex Urban he took me around the golf course and he said to me listen to this 6 months ago there was not a blade of grass on this place look at it now incredible work by all involved all right so just a couple of minutes until our first Force some te's off there's Gabby golf girl just 16 years old her dad is her caddy today yeah her dad was her first coach and this is an impressive young lady the first thing I saw with a video of her is was this cool trick shot where she flipped a wedge up onto the air hit it overhead and the ball went in the hole I'm like okay she's got skills then with further investigation she shot 64 broke a record in a high school golf tournament last season so she's a she's got skills yeah receives her first set of golf clubs at just 2 years old from West Palm Beach Florida she'll be playing with Tyler Tony from dude perfect and the aforementioned Brian Brothers Wesley and George Wesley of course the only one in this 16 player field who actively has his PGA Tour card you would think he's the favorite right but remember I'm having an affinity for older brothers so let's go George yeah good to see you yeah this is uh so under two minutes until I'm excited the team gets put into the ground and there are going to be a lot of eyes on this forsome as we mentioned earlier Mark and there's the two Bri Brothers in matching short shirts one has his shirt tucked in how do you feel about uh I'm I'm all for the shirt tucked in they had they took over one of the PGA toour live channels this is Wesley and George Brian two weeks ago for the FedEx St Jude classic they W on for a couple days and uh it was entertaining to say the least yeah no doubt look at this overhead shot look at that crowd surrounding the 10 T box a lot of these players have never played in an environment like this yeah that that just lifts things a little bit more cuz right now you kind of you're like that racehorse in the starting blocks you're just waiting for the Bell to go it feels like forever and all of a sudden it happens and then things come at you fast and then you're like oh my goodness I've got to hit this so this is when these folks take a breath try and settle everything down just for that open opening t-shot Wesley Bryan George Bryan Tyler Tony and from Columbia South Carolina Brian Bros Wesley Bryan Wesley as we mentioned the only player with an active PGA Tour card he also has a win the RBC Heritage in 2017 yeah that's a narrow Golf Course Harbor Town and he said that his handicap is the driver which is the club in his hand this hole is 49 yards today straightway landing area blind want to favor the left hand side yeah [Applause] from Akin South Carolina Brian Bros George Bryan George Brian a standout on the South Carolina golf team helped his team reach the NCAA Championship and he can play almost if not better than his brother any given day he won the Southeastern amateur golf tournament about an hour and a half away down in Columbus Georgia at a Donald Ross design the Country Club of Columbus this is my guy just love that golf [Music] swing piped wow Texas dude perfects Tyler Tony Tyler Tony and Dude Perfect have completely taken over the Internet more than 60 million subscribers on YouTube the Texas A&M Aggie We'll add one of those in yours truly after I heard this guy walked 140 yards on Lego this is easy for him [Applause] yeah Florida Gabby golf girl Gabby golf girl as mentioned just 16 years old with her dad Ron on the bag he has been coaching Gabby since she was a kid well you can see the energy there she's going to go to the Ford te and and now the energy the adrenaline is surging through that little system and she wants to run down there but you could see the sanity sort of set in going okay can't be running down there maybe get out of breath let's just take my time let's own my moments because this is kind of a tone Setter for the day this t-shot yeah no doubt she's collabed with a handful of notable golfers earlier this year with the one and only Nelly Corda that was a nice pass with a club twirl post that one spectator here it's commissioner Monahan at his state of the tour address for the media this morning was bullish on the future and especially about events like this where we blending uh kind of the new and the old in a little way it's such a revered venue in East Lake yeah it's just got to be straight all right so we are on the Fairway Gabby golf girl is first up as we welcome in Dan Rapaport good afternoon Dan what's going on boys I'm definitely a little sweaty out here but ready to watch some golf right she's got about 130ish yards up the hill to a front pin these greens are very firm that's been the talk of the tour this week is How firm these new greens are so she got to hoist one up here it's on a good line just don't know if it'll [Music] hold a little out in front of that one you could see the body sort of stole through contact that hole is about seven yards above the landing area so almost a half a club for her just a slight a strike is not a bad place to be and Tyler Tony will be next Dan the only member of this forsome to miss the Fairway off the T yeah pretty good start I imagine they were shaking in their boots but three really good t- shots Tyler blocked one a little bit and he said he has not have a lot of experience playing stroke play events he's going to come up well short that Bermuda rough is not long I'd say it's right around the inch and a half 2 in mark But in certain AAS it is Lush and to Hoist the ball that far is difficult Dan you spent the majority of your career following PGA Tour pros and Wesley Bryan is one of them yeah laying it down I guess don't don't touch it hey you know Wesley's got a resume that's just in a different category of anyone in this tournament and with that you know he's got a little bit of a Target on his back I saw some chatter online is he a PJ Tour player is he a Creator he's got something to prove today wed L Drive won wedge games his calling card and he'll have that for birdie to start and put some pressure on his playing Partners which includes his brother George who had a fantastic shot as well yeah really really good one here he was hitting it really nice on the Range George has quite a game of his own he's an All-American I believe at South Carolina in his mid-30s he's played in the PJ Tour event came really close to winning the Q mytle Beach so definitely one of the favorites here coming in a little that's going to come all this slow watch this George little back Stu in behind there but you can see the firmness of the greens already Brian Wesley that is coming in with a wedge that hit and released 4 or 5 ft up the slope George will have something just left to rsh and perhaps a touch down the hill so they are approaching the 10th green and while we have a moment let's send it out to a another member of our crew it's Bradford Wilson hey Bradford we're here at the range at the Creator classic with a very familiar face Roger steel Roger how you feeling today I feel great man I feel great heat included I still feel great I was going to ask you uh it's hard for the folks at home to really digest just how hot it is out here but if you could unfathomable unfathomable agreed agreed I mean just like you would need showers on the hour to you know make this uh survivable you know what I mean but I'm just glad everybody all the fans are out here watching this you know watching getting ready to watch some pretty mediocre golf by myself you know but hopefully we just crack that top four baby that's what we're looking for smart money is on tour experienced players but big money is on you just going to tell you that right now and dumb money dumb money is on me big money and dumb money on your boy you know the thing that they don't realize is you know this round is going to boil down to five shots for me that's the t- shot on 10 driver t-shot on 12 driver 13 driver 14 driver 16 driver if I hit five good drivers and then five good approaches we in there and make and make five and make five putts you got to get them close though yeah yeah if if all those things go right nobody could beat me baby nobody I love the enthusiasm something under his belt that no one else in this field has in terms of playing prestigious courses doesn't he truly does uh played in the Masters as an amateur he helped Oklahoma University win a National Championship and he's playing alongside Buster of Buster Jack now speaking of bust this guy can Bust It Off The Tea this will leave like a homesick angel Wesley Bryan is of average length in the PGA Tour look at that that is taking aerial shots good Goods Garett Clark Garrick Clark the brains behind creating good good a channel that has roughly 1.7 million subscribers on YouTube it's crazy isn't it I'm amazed and astounded at the stuff these guys do and and you watch the content and it's it's epic it's entertaining it's it's appropriate it's lots of fun did a swing analysis on this guy last night man he is impressive didn't pick up a golf club until the age of 14 too he's an athlete has also played basketball and baseball Texas busted Jacks Mason nut Mason nut played his college golf at Oklahoma Baptist and he can hit the ball can he okay okay you you want to flex look we walk in the tea we got a 79 we just bump a piece of grass up and you put the ball down on that no tea here this is like cool points here for uh Mason nut driver off the deck get left [Music] [Applause] B these Spectators better look out today these are some good golfers but they're not on the the tour at least he found a shady spot down [Applause] there let's go all right now we're off that first t- shot's out of the way that's you know there's certain nerve-wracking times the adrenaline is surging right now and you're nervous on the first te and that sort of wains a little bit if you're in contention then it ramps up again this is our first birdie putt today it's for Wesley Bryan can he start off with a circle on his scorecard just wonder to the right hand side that's the thing about the new greens just a little unpredictable right now they are rolling smooth though all right now back at the te for number 10 it's Paige spanic the most followed female golf content creator with 11 million followers across all of her channels she still hasn't come on my on theark podcast what's that all about maybe if she wins this it's part of the contract right yeah good golfer in own R played San Diego State turned professional for a little while and as you say now he got her own channel and gives golf tips on top of all of that stuff yep so tell you what we've seen eight t- shots so far the majority of these players do not seem phased by the moment well that was the thing with this whole creators classic is these are good golfers these aren't just YouTubers and such these are people that can rarely play the game this is a birdie chance for George Bryan we saw his brother Wesley Miss for birdie and this one off to the right don't leave that one short you'll r [Applause] that as group number two walking their way to the Fairway Paige spanic Brad doy gar Clark and Mason nut I believe six of the at shots so far have hit the Fairway so the nerves aren't present at the moment so far that Fairway is not wide by any stretch of the imagination either down there in the landing area it Narrows to about 22 or 3 yards so it's a narrow Target one thing though with the restoration Craig green the gentleman who came in here and did this he's opened the area up used to be a whole lot more trees down the right hand side so the sight lines for the fans are better and if you're going to miss down that right hand side it's certainly way more doable and you see Garett Clark before this tournament began alerting the PGA Tour to watch out for the fans on the left side of his first t- shot but Garrett you're selling yourself short right down Broadway I saw that that made me laugh it truly did I mean that's a golfer who's ready for this who doesn't take himself too seriously and that's the best way to be you know you want that equal amount of I care but also don't care and not really going to have fun with us all smiles after one shot in in this tournament as we jump ahead to the 11th Hole by the way we saw both Brian Brothers Miss birdie putts tap in their pars both Gabby golfgirl and Tyler Tony ended up with bogey as we're at the par 3 11th for Wesley Bryan Dan yeah probably about a five iron this is on a really good line it's cutting just right of the flag and and they were saying on the way up here pars are good so let's see if this catches it yeah good shot that better settle down there's a little falloff area down that right hand side it's okay now green is a whole lot wider than the original version from last year there's some sneaky ho location from the back left hand side of this target Dan George is going to follow his brother here and I just think their their experience having played in in tournaments will will really come in handy today just having people around and just those little two-footers on these fast scens that you know some of these Greers aren't really used to putting this is a pull this is this is this is trouble actually that's a fine spot in there that is a feature of the golf course that whole area over there is now Fairway approach let's rewind back to the 10th hole the second shot for Mason nut as we welcome hi lead better to the broadcast good afternoon H hey guys Mason's keeping it low just rolled in that front bunker there really tough shot his ball was sitting way down in that rough that front bunker is not that bad a deal you can see the cover there from the short that little gotcha bunker but the entire landing area from down where the players are H it's kind of a blind approach for them yeah I am like a lot I just it is AIT bind it's plus eight from where Pages you can just really see the top half of the flag only seven Paces between the front of the green and the P for her all right no damage down there in the Fairway approach she can probably get putter on that wasn't no best strike could be worse as we jump a few yards ahead it's Garrett Clark we saw that tweet earlier hie first t- shot left not even close to the case yeah 84 yards for Garrett here just an easy wedge for him back stop saved in that'll one to back down to the flat a little bit and finally it's Brad doy hie he drove the Ball 342 yds to begin his tournament you know what I asked him earlier what he average off the team he said 330 he was being [Applause] modest 67 yards left there for him that's just little saut L gets it to settle down what a start I mean I said he could Bust It Off the te 342 that is craziness he is going to be one to watch as this afternoon's drama develops back to 11 Gabby golf girl looking to bounce back from that opening bogey here on the par 3 11th it's got to go a little nice F boun on the green will do lovely comeback up there on the top Plateau she'll have a chance to get back to even par as we are back live on the 10th green you see paig at the center of your screen she's got the putter out as you mentioned Mark you fig figured that would be the case we may have may nut away touch and go right now because here's the thing if you're unsure go with something straight-faced because when you're little nervous and you got a title eye down there in this Bermuda trying to slide the club underneath there hie is not the easiest job in the world yeah no it's definitely tricky I'm not exactly sure who's going to go but they're both taking a real good look at their shot looks like Mason's going to go I spoke to Mason earlier do you guys know he chips one-handed he just looked at me as I walked by him and said I'm not doing this onehanded what a world find out if it's right or left handed that'll tell us a lot but first this bunker shot I don't think this is too much of an issue no it's not a nice upop Settle yeah that was a nervy one there he was making sure that was getting out of the sand you unsure you grip down you hit a little more sand and you swing a little harder so as this group cleans up up ahead at the green at number 10 we reverse back towards the t-box where our third group of Roger steel Amy Cho sha Walsh and fat Perez are all systems go at the 10th t my name is Roger steel I'm from Chicago Illinois and I'm a 0.1 index Sean walls from Keller Texas and my handicaps plus 5.2 Nick stuie AKA fat Perez from Richmond Wilson at the driving range didn't he Mark well he said he had to hit five good drives and five good approach shots I think it was five good butts uh of the t-shots on this nine holes I would say this is kind of the least intimidating but of course you got all these fans around here yeah each player was asked to give their over under for the eight holes they'll be playing in stroke play Roger steel said he thinks he can shoot even 31 hey 195 ball speed that is healthy just to put into context if you're above that 185 Mark you are styling Walsh Sean Walsh has his fair share of experience in Pro tournaments as of February he had played in 47 Pro tournaments with three top 10 finishes played golf at Gonzaga University then joined good good not as fast as Roger but that'll do just fine from Richmond Virginia Bob Sports FATZ fat Perez going to be a fan favorite here this afternoon isn't he the people's Champion as you can see the fans already rooting on fat Perez as he introduced himself his real name Nick stubie but known as fat Perez from the Bob do sports brand kind of reminds me of Chris Patton way back in the day I'm aging myself now with that Chris Patton was a US amateur champion and that's what sty does by the way Bobby Fairways is on his bag and that's exactly where fat Perez finds himself off the T on 10 de Center up to the green on number 10 will Garrett Clark be our first birdie today was the putt that West uh George Bryan left short oh yeah not Garrett opening BR that's a fantastic start and he is our leader through one hole we mentioned just eight holes a stroke play you pick up a birdie you're going to gain some ground on the field big time I think birdies are going to be few and far between infecting our TV compound we had a little over and under number for the field yeah and we kind of went with 16 there over and under so tweet us I'd love to hear what you guys think and finally out of group number three it's Amy Cho I saw your breakdown of her swing one word to describe it Demir isn't it very Demir mindful born in South Korea grew up in New Zealand and Orlando the Florida Gator not just the Florida Gator two time all America two-time SEC All Conference team won the SEC Championship as a freshman turned professional back injury and now she's a golf teacher and a content creator and uh she's my sneaky pick today not bad at all a lot of her videos are focused on golf instruction and technique on her YouTube channel with nearly half a million YouTube subscribers as we jump ahead to 11 this is a bogey putt for Tyler Tony and this is to just limit the damage Dan and avoid going worse than bogey bogy that's kind of what we were worried about those little two three Footers on Bermuda that you just pick up in your Saturday game well they are not good in the Creator classic really good up and down from George Bryan there Wesley two- putted so the Brian brothers are off to a good start so it's three over through two for Tyler Tony as Gabby golf girl had a fantastic t-shot this is to clean up her par on 11 after the opening poy as well Dan yeah this will settle the nerves a little bit a little bit of a nervy putt I would have like to see her give that a little bit more of a chance but she's below the hole and you know one over through two it's not going to take 300 to get to this playoff with this how this golf course is playing you make some pars you're going to move up the board that one safely in when you're nervous it's always hard to hit putts firmly especially on glassy greens like this so the two put three threes on these two part 3es on this nine holes will do you no harm so group number one finishes the par 3 11 as we see the gallery forming towards the T box for group number two here at 11 and it will be Garrett Clark's T boox mark because he is the only one on the course so far with a birdie he just seems so athletic to me just going through the numbers land 200 crunching these numbers the hole is playing 28 yards you heard there is downhill just a whisker so Garrett's talking to his caddy Blake Mullen the newest member of good good who joined just a few weeks ago as you see the fans taking a stroll on this restored golf course so where do I put in my resume to join good good in the is there such a place I don't know if there's a formal application process but they've got a good good thing going on no pun intended well I heard six iron from 218 downhill that should be ample with a firm greens I need to go little thin it's fine now look at that thing running through though you the thin strike ball coming in there a little flat it's now through the back this is a t- shot for George Bryant at number 12 going with iron should be short of that bunker it's about 280 to get there Wesley played first and hit it right at it just short so I think that's a good aiming point for these guys just a setup t- shot this down 12 it's a hole of all the 18 around this golf course that hasn't changed that much back to 11 Brad doy on the T hie his t- shot after an opening par yeah really nice easy par is put just slid by this one going so high just left of the hole [Applause] you can see there it's taking the slope there's a slope just to the left of the cup and also to the right ideally youd wanted to land it just a couple yards further than that get up onto that second section that one just 36 feet away so good start excuse me that was gar Clark 36 F feet away be inside of that as we look at Mason nut looking to ease the nerves after an opening bogey h hoping to settle the ship a little bit was a little shaky on that last screen that one flared out to the right H off the first right shot on the second uh nerves and he's also a little unaware where the golf club is in the golf swing right now that is not the happiest place to be as a tournament golfer no live on number 10 for group number three this is the second for Shawn Walsh not first cut you can see the zoa grass there just perks that ball up a touch you can rely clip balls from these Fairways he's going upstairs with that wedge that is going to be Hasty down that slope he going have to tap that thing it's something to watch for with these firm greens we saw Garrett Clark and 11 ball beyond the hole you see that ball beyond the hole the way these greens are playing I would Advocate that you try and keep the ball underneath the hole as much as possible that allows one to putt more aggressively as you can see Garett Clark the only player under par right now this is the approach for Roger steel who absolutely nuked his t-shot got a long willowy kind of an action Kari nips this one with a lofted wedge That unhurried Swing oh lovely he was confident on the driving range and he's got a confident start as well he's going to hit five drives well and five putts and five iron shots not sure about the other four holes and he feels like he can win it so just getting underway here at East Lake back like man I've been looking forward to seeing you hit it because M moris nicknamed TIG he's not very tall he's about 5'9 but he can smash it yeah he all speeds 195 plus insane he's been called TIG his entire life his dad used to work for a coffee company and there was a truck company called Tator he liked the logo so his dad got him a hat he wore it till he was four the Hat fell apart and it just said TIG and stuck there a little Fairway finder there just a caress with a driver 177 mph from I dream about drives [Music] Finch Peter Finch from England man after my own hearts podcast host and a golf teacher the only Englishman in the field this week he started out as a driving range instructor and here he is on the T box where the Tour Championship is taking place very organized pre-shot routine he knows his stuff oh came with a high draw down the right hand side from Canada ma Boucher ma Boucher rocking the black glove seeing that one up pretty high okay but uh he has a right-handed driver there in hand could kill your heads on a swivel and he's a lefty what is going on here trick shots baby why not first team nerds whatever that is absolutely insane we miss the Fairway you can play with that and Luke K Quan this is her under the radar guy to look out for isn't it Mark my of the radar guy played a few years as a professional before a horrid injury had to have emergency brain surgery made 31 of 47 Cuts in his pro career yeah he's made more than 50 starts in PGA Tour sanctioned events including a win in China in [Applause] 2019 out in front of that one might be out to the right just a touch and that ball just disappears in this rough doesn't it here's another look at Ma Bouch trick shot to begin his tournament the upside down driver okay you need some skill with that but you need a whole truckload of confidence to pull that off nervous first t- shot all the fans around you flipped a right-handed driver upside down what is that you see me trying to tee up my ball took me 510 just to get the ball on the ground I was like this little scary little scary well you hand it unbelievable uh nice cut down the middle of the Fairway uh are we going to see that the rest of the day a little mixture I think I think if we can uh turn that over I think it'll be in good shape so we'll definitely see it again he'll come out awesome I'm looking forward to it all right thank you Joel we're excited to welcome Joel Damon to this side yeah this side the Dark Side of Med I actually when I see Joel Damon on the golf course again I think he's going to play in Nappa I won't be out there sadly but I'm going to challenge him to go with the Lefty Club upside down off the first te yeah we're on the 11th green right now Paige spanic started off with a bogey but hiy she has a chance to get back to even with this birdie putt beautiful nine iron in here this is really quick playing this just outside the [Music] right how about the iridescent Putter and putter shaft and style points very Demir right Mark oh cut see there's two on the counter live over under at eight we'll see if we can break it couple putts left here here for the good good guys just spoke to Garrett he said he's still nervous even after that great birdie start there's the question Holly are these putts good good not yeah that little meat on that bone 2 feet 5 in for doy and he cleans up his par and he remains even through the 11th hole which is really the second hole again if you're just joining us holes 10 through 17 our stroke play the top four players after that will go to the 18to playoff this is Roger Steel on number 10 or 11 excuse me for birdie just to the left we've seen two putts from that area one wiggled to the right hand side that stayed left one of them head scratchers over to 12 now this is a birdie putt for George Bryan Dan yeah the the Bryan have it surrounded it's very cute they seem to hit their T shots in the exact same spot they did it on the 10th hole they did it again on the 12th hole two really good wedges in here this should slide a little bit right an opportunity to get under par for Mr George Bryan it's going to be a ticklish one can't stay there it cannot it simply can't one more in Defying Gravity but that's two now he's at two r fairly handsome looks on both 10 and here that he's left short iron that out if he wants to beat little brother let's see if that for for Wesley this is what dreams are made of you know just off the right edge up the hill perfect W shot in a he missed it well two Miss opportunities there for the Bryan yeah Dan they've been getting on the green with no issues but right now still looking to capitalize with the flat stick yeah I think everyone's just a little bit defensive on the greens I think you know when you don't play greens this fast very often you're very very scared of the comebackers so I think everyone's being a little bit tentative I think everyone knows that part is a really good score out here all right live on 11 Roger Steel on the part three skinny sit good okay that's going to be a oh just crep back to the edge of the Fairway that's going to be challenging up the slurp down the hill that's his friend Ed Hills on Roger Steel's bag as we set the stage for Shawn Walsh coming off an opening par member of good good in April of this year he actually played in a corn fairy Tour event the veritex bank championship in Texas he did miss the cut but if you're playing in this event with corn fairy experience you're going to be deemed as one of the favorites aren't you yeah you would think so um really good player who was introduced to Good Good by his good friend Luke Quan and was asked about that as he hoist that one on a good line right okay I was asked about that he goes oh it's just playing golf with my buddies with a few cameras around kind and a few thousand more people hundreds of thousands watching at home as you can see Bobby Fairway is using the rangef finder that won't be allowed later this week from the caddies but today good to go for fat Perez love this action had a little fun with fat Perez on our social media accounts where we compared his golf swing to Rory maroy silky Smo his commentary on my analysis was like well done that was like comparing a Slough to a cheetah fat Perez is dancing on number 11 yeah that's something I'd like to see him dancing 11 off ball is yeah all right jumping ahead to the 13th hole thank you thank you Dan it's been a struggle for Mr Tyler Tony so far hasn't it he's in great spirits someone yelled out to him how you playing he said exactly how I projected so I don't know what he said is over under at but if it was BBY golf he's he's right there also not sure why he went first but hit this one good just bleeding going to miss in the right rough the like usual we did get his over under at 36 which would be five over through hopefully we can just see the ball this time George Bryant has an identical scorecard to his brother so far three holes three pars he was very disappointed there was no tracker on the first te I think he really wanted to see that one another perfect t- shot he is Flushing right now George hasn't missed yet yeah by the t-up there on the second hole the 11th he has been right on the button yeah George was actually a runner up in the queue at Myrtle Beach a bunch of the guys in this week's event played in that George lost in a playoff to Matt Atkins that was an event that would have granted you a spot in the Myrtle Beach PGA tournament as we the right right off T terrible eye had to almost lay up to this spot pretty basic chip up the slope and these greens are firm out here they are new and firm yeah he picked the right shot there to try and bump it into the slope but those firm greens just carried it too far and now he's got his hands full but Joel you kind of feel like as you look at this rough in The Firm greens that kind of being in the Fairway is Paramount to success we got Mack playing here out of the bunker pretty basic shot up slope shouldn't have too much trouble with this one M bouer born and raised in Canada play D3 golf at Adrien college and this one just gets up was on the up slope and just had a little too much sand behind that one jumping ahead to 11 this is the t- shot for Amy Cho Who parred The Tenth hole beautiful camera work a little left to the right hand side Swing Shot look at that good yeah back to 10 now for our fourth and final group of Micah Morris Peter Finch M Boucher and Luke Quan all right Joel set the stage who's away here on this screen uh Mr Finch is on the back of the green hit in the right rough and caught the flyer lie and uh he's got a long downhill uh kind of through a tough tier here and it's going to be very quick see how we can handle this one on the first hole Peter Finch has collaborated with many of the participants in today's tournament also played in that Q at Myrtle Beach where he finished in a tie for sixth place and here he is as Joel mentioned from the back of the green coming back on this challenging surface he's looking well out to the right hand side too so looking for some left borrow and then you've got those two tiers to deal with in the final quarter of the putts all and old pretty sporty from up there yep over to 11 now Roger steel flew the green and now he chats with his friend Ed Hills long Lous Twins and Friends perhaps lucky that ball released down to the flat in that chipping area so it's a very tight lie you need nerve and skill to clip that away there and he's done pretty well he'll have a chance to save pars that ball came back a little bit as well as we are back to 10 right now Luke Quan has just under 27 feet just to save par here Joel what do you see on this putt so once again this is very downhill it's going down the tier it's going to be relatively straight but speed is going to be the problem here on this one by the looks of things he's got to move this about six feet and then the hills got the rest right he just has to get started over the tier be a huge par save on the first hole for him wow that thing's still running that's going to be a tough one coming back just to save bogy as we get a great overhead view of number 11 the par three and this is on the green where sha Walsh is putting from just off this is for birdie up and over that shoulder that'll spit it to the right hand side o drop the anchor full flaps a little that's outside the friend zone y the circle of friendship hey they're on good good do they give puts from that range not today not today maybe any other format so this is our third group of Roger steel Amy Cho Shawn Walsh and fat Perez apparently Brad Walsh didn't bring a ball marker or uh or uh Roger didn't have when he was B Bing there got a shortage of ball markers here in this group so right now three of the four players are at even fat Perez did bogy number 10 and here he is from 49t to get back to even a wonderful feel and touch got that little forward press in the golf putting stroke and I would say this is certainly the strength of his game forward press the swing of the blade ball hugs the [Applause] ground you useful yeah be worse there's a nice overhead look from our drone cameras of this newly reshaped 11th green it used to basically be just this long sort of oblong oval from front to back it's shorter from front to back and certainly wider from left to right the target but you've got those aggressive bunkers here in the foreground that cut into the surface Amy Cho has a birdie opportunity as she is using an East Lake caddy and you've got to think some people using friends and family using an East L caddy has to give you a little bit of an edge doesn't it well certainly but I feel like these East L caddies are learning the greens too because they've been here for ages they've known the place like the back of their hands now all of a sudden the script's been flipped with the new greens stress free par that'll work in this tournament that's a nice F that's a sensational save from behind the green he knows the [Applause] too and while we have a moment let's send it out to the course with Dan raport I'm here with the Brian Brothers I got to say you guys with their PJ tour experience you're the favorites do you feel like there's a Target on your back this week Wesley uh I mean not much first and foremost before we go any further everybody that went into putting this event on all the people out here on the golf course I mean lugging the cameras around huge shout out to PGA Tour the Tour Championship uh and honestly all the creators coming and making this thing special has been awesome now with that being said Target on my back huge Target on my back I feel like there there's if I lose that I I have no validity in the game of golf is basically what it feels like so I'm out here competing uh but number one goal is to beat George if I beat George I do feel like I will win the championship I feel like you guys have hit the ball within like five yards of each other off the te is that is that by plan um it's been a little bit of a surprise I didn't know what to expect off the te and and the greens but um yeah it's just fun to to compete and feel those tournament nerves and really blend what we do on YouTube professional golf and like just kind of merge it into one and like bring YouTube to a championship venue um it still feels like a kid in the candy shop we're on the fourth hole uh was it 13 and I'm like boy cow is this real so yeah it's it's very real you guys are playing well we'll throw it back to you guys Mark and Jake all right thank you Dan the Brian Brothers no stranger to winning golf events that have been on YouTube before George is a two-time YouTube Golf Championship winner he won the second one at Pell farms and number four at Pinehurst number 10 course meanwhile Wesley Bryan won number three he beat Grant Horvat in a playoff in Bermuda as we jump ahead to number 12 this is a birdie opportunity for Brad dokey hiie straight up the hill after a beautiful wedge he's hidden iron off the tea we know this guy hits it far iron his ball was sitting down just carried the lip and left this left this for a birdie that was a misread of biblical proportions there he was figuring that would turn to the left hand side it didn't oblig whatso forever gol will make you crazy and guys you won't believe this but Mr Garrett Clark is putting for an eight he hit two out of bounds off the te and then kind of flubbed his second shot and this would be actually for an unbelievable up and down from Over the bunker oh goodness gracious me well that's that's going to be a nine Garrett Clark guys we've been saying it you know this is stroke play there is no just pick up and move on you got to finish it out every hole Imaging Strokes I thought the issue is off the left hand side of the T pu's tweet out of Baner and 12 is down the right wow so from one under to four over and in just eight holes it's a small sample size every shot can change everything in terms of momentum as Paige spiranic puts for bog on 12 and again folks if you're just joining us the top four is what you want after these eight holes doesn't matter if you're in first doesn't matter if you're in fourth as long as you're in the top four through the 17th hole or the eighth at they'll play you'll go to the playoff on 18 well there a few holes out in front I think of this 13 certainly 14 the power five 15 the Allen Green PA 3 there's a lot of holes where you can see a lot of movement back and forth all right we are live on the 13th hole Dan the Brian Brothers have had plenty of opportunities for birdie here's another one for George yeah just another Fairway another green these guys are are playing about as stress free as you possibly could uh given the circumstances so should be another easy tap in for George these guys are Loosey Goosey you know Wesley knows that he's got a Target on his back he knows people are expecting him to win this tournament and he's coming out and Performing this is Luke Quan on 11 after an opening double bogey he's hunting he is hunting with that t-shot gorgeous best of the day wow Dart City USA for Luke Quan as he looks for a birdie on the par three this is Wesley Bryan who knocks in ninth in that Queue at Myrtle Beach I was just wondering if you guys saw leaderboard for which tournament was that then I don't know if you guys know who finished tied for Ninth at Myrtle Beach but it was the guy that you're speaking to so just want a little respect tied for N 16 but we'll take it do we I don't know top top n really serious I got a top 10 are you for real with this listen if you seen my game you know it was a very impressive performance fair enough Tyler Tony misses the par Putt and he's still in High Spirits despite the slow start it's all about expectations boys he's winning the shirt game Tyler torney I mean we got bears and we've got uh trees this is winning well there's symmetry consistency in terms of the numbers on his cards my always said to golf as I teach back home you know handicapped players I'm like you realize if you make 18 FS you're going to shoot 90 you're playing boy go sign me up for that there you go on the Green in three two puts you're going to make a five here's Gabby golf girl one over through the first three this is to limit the damage on the par 4 yeah we saw you know these these bunker lips she drove it in the bunker off the left side of the Fairway and it was just so steep she had no chance to get it there so the bunkers have been made a little bit more penal I believe out here she had no chance laid it up about 80 yards short uh and played a nice one to he actually lged it to he I believe this is for bogy yep she she played one down the slope and then this one for the five to limit the damage avoiding doubles is very important and she's done that walks it in as well so a fist bump with her dad also her caddy and this first group will head to the 15th hole we are live on the 12th hole and fat Perez will be first to go bogey bogey start for fat Perez as we mentioned earlier Robbie Berger also known as Bobby Fairways caddying for him this afternoon the two of them very close friends key members of Bobo Sports their chemistry of course part of what makes their Channel such a big success in the YouTube World he's posing oh yeah Perez rolls one close and he'll have a chance for birdie after a bogey bogy start back on 13 this tea ground has been extended way back Par Four last year it's a par five now and the landing area you cannot see where the ball will come down difficult t- shot very easy to hit it down the left hand side there's a huge stand of trees down the RO and that will be a common place Miss oh boy Mark do you notice that he he lines it up with the driver off the heel what is the thought behind that he's always done that s helps him to reshape the downswing some because if he misses westbrown that is he comes a little over the top with him and tends to hit pulled fade so that little move forces the inside approach now George Bryan as far as Gulf swing lines go this is about as pure as you will find it's up and down the plane he hits it flesh and he can hit whatever he pleases Mark I'm getting the sense you actually like this golf swing correct me if I'm wrong I really kind of do and as as I mentioned early in the top of the show that uh I'm put I'm kind of picking him to beat his brother this is on a better line definitely further right there's a speed slop down there in about the 300 yd range right there problem is it's Crown set splits balls in either direction toward the rough this is a par putt for Micah Morris on number 11 par on 10 and a few feet to make it one on 11 can he do it indeed that that is a great up and down out of Micah there hitting the front bunker and just drilled another 5-footer there luk Juan hit a 6 iron in here absolutely flagged it it looked like it was going in from the T box it's got about 4 or 5 ft relatively straight just got to read from Mike as well um from a betting man this one's going in thing is Joel you know over these nervy nerves are un ome that mind starts to play tricks on you yeah on the putting green you knock the S nine out of 10 times but here on the golf course when it means something that whole sort of shrinks in your mind a little bit I think Luke got some nerves out of the way with that uh double bogey on the first he just flagged his shot uh nerves are settled in a little bit and I think he's going to play great the rest of the way Santa cut he holds that back to one over par this is the second for Roger Steel on number 12 the mammoth t-shot down there that's just a clip with a love wed wow everything on the screen from his angle should move to his left hand side it's all about afternoon that's a couple five rounds on 11 and here on 14 he's pulled on the left hand side something to keep an eye on as we are live on 13 right now hi BR doy has a birdie putt yeah he's just off the front of the green here very similar line to Mason nut he will be keeping an eye on this one just about 6 in outside the right guys these fringes are about as pure as most greens break in there that ball roll through that Fringe pretty well Harley just a little bit left for his power to me this guy's looking really primed right now we are live on number 14 a beautiful t- shot from Gabby golf girl Dan as she looks this second shot over with her dad and caddy she has got the the tour mannerisms you know got the the yardage book out the pin sheet obviously a very experienced tournament player she had a lovely drive that tumble down the right side only about 170 yard she does have the furniture out but there's ample room over that bunker in front probably 30 yards where she can land it and run it on this is a good look for her yeah in terms of gab's content on social media platforms like Instagram Tik Tok and YouTube she shares a mix of instructional videos personal golfing experiences and behind the scene glimpses of her life off a bit of a down slope here so that makes it a little trickier as Mark knows very well three-wood off a down slope kind of makes me nervous a little bit key here retain angle yeah really good she have an e Eagle Putt and some claps from the Brian Bros that should turn off that shoulder there that's very nice ho high yeah she'll have a look at Eagle as you mentioned a chance to get back to even where that current cut Line Stands Quan just from the first cut with some lofted wedge oh gets that to settle down Saucy really good as we jump ahead to the 4 14th hole and Dan some fantastic second shots on this converted par five yeah really good Eagle looks coming up here for Wesley and for Gabby golfgirl and I think a pretty pretty standard up and down for George Bryan that pins right in the middle I think that's one of the reasons why we're seeing scores maybe a little lower than some of the tour Pros expected they don't they're not used to pins in the middle of the greens you know these are sort of more gentle pins which is giving the creators a chance to if they hit it well we're seeing some birdies early so looks like George will be first here he's got 34 yard here Dan you see that hill right in front of the green what's the play here yeah he's got to he's got to land it on the green that's the first order of business here there's ample room to have it take one maybe two hops but I would expect kind of a a mid height spinner check and then trickle out that's what he's that's what he's going to be aiming for all about contact can see he down the grip some got a wide action that helps with the base of the arc ready to get some spin on this there's the bounce there's the check there's the roll out God look how fast those are past the green that'll be about 10 ft for birdie just tripped up by The Firm this time I think when he struck that he thought it was going to be good Green's playing awfully firm that is always a feature when there's a redesign of putting surfaces cuz the soil is not completely settled so the targets are really firm Al Tony now five over he has four fives on his scorecard and Dan he'd love to go up and down for another five wouldn't he yeah you know he's kind of the five guy out here that's what we we've dubbed him he's just had a really tough time with the rough so got to spend yeah you can see that Mark there they just don't grab like you expect them to I'm looking at this stuff and we got some good weather forecast for the rest of the week for the toy championship too come Sunday afternoon these puppies are going to be glassy and firm indeed of course the Tour Championship beginning tomorrow on this exact Golf Course 30 players for the FedEx Cup eagle look as well Dan this one from 23 ft away yeah don't don't sleep on Gabby she's hanging around calling over here to Tyler to make sure that she's going to go first and Tyler gives her the right away yeah look she's hanging around it's a tournament tough player she plays a full schedule of Junior events down in Florida all of those are stroke plays she's she's used to grinding out rounds and you know it's getting late early here you make a birdie here you're you're right in the mix back to one over par and you know you want to post a number and make these guys come down the stretch 16 171 18 East Lake Golf Club you know knowing that they need to make pars I think it's an advantage to be in this first group today yeah again just 16 years old this would put her back at even for the tournament she'll leave it a little bit short that was going right in the middle that's well done that's job well done get on this if you can make fours on the fives and threes on the threes you've got four holes taken care of and your two under so that's the first of the two power FS taken care of so work bogie at 13 rebounds with a birdie at 14 as we go back to the 13th hole this is Amy Cho's second shot 12th hole excuse me 13th that ball pitched up like an Easter egg in the rough and she just clipped that Fairway metal off there beautifully not often you get such a good lie yeah let's celebrate good cing right there pting himself on the back yeah he's Ling for tips there cting was decent I thought the playing was excellent yeah so this group right now Amy Cho is at even par fat Perez two over Roger Steels one under off the left Sean Walsh has been consistent three holes three pars so far I got kind of like a like 25 sh I like that FR Edge anything there's fine yeah exactly so from that live there in the Bermuda R year the front edge play is the play because with the greens releasing that'll give him a little room to land something short allow the ball to trundle on up there wedge in hand I'm expecting a good [Music] one real good number all that way there and settle it down that is absolutely incredible and Shawn Walsh who played his college golf at Gonzaga has a chance to get to underpar for the tournament this is a par look for Peter Finch on number 12 can he remain even for the tournament yes he drives it on in there still thinking about that Walsh approach shot from the rof that thing landed like a bean bag oh yeah so the Englishman avoids damage and in terms of body language positive body language I'd say Roger Steel's right at the top right now since this tournament began he's oozing it just allowing things to come to him he's using the power off the te driving the Fairway I mean collectively he's had lob wages into just about every Par Four so far and this is another great opportunity nearly 350 yards off the T leaves him with just 87 to the pin one behind our leader Wesley Bryan go go perect play right underneath the hole that's an uphill look to get too deep fans Love Him Luke Quan looking for Birdie on number 12 well Peter Finch is the rest one of our camera operators down there swing slide and he drills it this is Wesley briyan on the T of this island green it's bleeding this staying on the back there it does some groans on the tea okay it's it's dry this is you know this this hole is just a lot scarier than it used to be there used to be a bunker down the left that kind of welcomed balls that were a little bit offline it was a bit of a bailout that is gone the t's are a bit up though it used to be like a 200 220 shot I don't know if the Green's quite settled enough so they're they're using the up te this week it'll play about 160 150 where the tea is right now and I love the way they built that flow into that teaing ground too in years past it was really only two T's back here and they were separate but you can see it looks like that terrist look down there very old school very Charming yeah very Charming I think this is going to be a great hole coming down the stretch on Sunday of the tour champion ship you know this is this is where the FedEx Cup this is the culmination of it all and to have an Island Green in the mix kind of a proper island green now I think it's going to be a huge uh huge boost for this event coming down the stretch Dan George Bryan has been so consistent in this tournament so far five holes five pars and really no stress so far no stress so far but you know he's reached the point in the round where you're getting a little impatient you feel like you've set yourself up you should be two or three under par and this is a bit of a nervy shot so once this finds dry land he'll he'll breathe a sigh of relief it's going right at the middle of the green yeah really really good shot there that's all that's Scotty Sheffer would take that on Sunday that's been his ammo but that green is just so firm the ball landed near 25 ft or so beyond the hold and released a good 15 or 20 more so that'll be a challenge putting down the hill for the birdie next is Tyler kind of yeah he's kind of given everybody an indication of what a you know a good player but not a professional golfer would Gabby golf girl on the T at 15 coming off that confident Birdie on the par five let's see if she can use that to build some momentum she's playing with a little sweat right now is don't be fooled by her youth just 16 years old but it's all smiles for her and her caddy who happens to be her dad as she looks to continue climbing up the leaderboard speaking of smiles that's all Roger steel has had to do today he is playing really well this is a chance to once again tie the lead once again they are camping out on this line Hing out every detail work back there on 12 I would say of the two attempts 12 and 13 this one on 13 infinitely easier up the hill and if you know execution now that uh that Spider-Man meme where they're pointing at each other in the same suit I think you can do that here a verbal meme for Roger steel and his caddy Ed Hills who's his friend they are this wearing the same thing from head to toe it appears he thought he had that they're twinning that's for certain y he wanted that one and he'll have to settle for par to remain at one under but again that's still a tie for second all that matters is finishing inside that top four if we have a tie for fourth place through the 17th hole there will be a chip off and we'll have that sudden death playoff on number 18 Roger steel is firmly in the chats and this one now for Walsh to jump into the mix and climb into red numbers it's 4 and 1/2 ft for the member of good good good good put together a tournament the Midwest open in June Shawn Walsh finished in a tie for third place that was a scramble format NBA yeah that's one of many tournaments that these content creators have played so far that was a scramble format but this one of course a different format with eight holes of stroke play and the sudden death playoff on 18 as you get a great aerial look at number 15 some shades of TPC Saw Grass is 17th here yeah is it just plays a whole lot longer than TPC Saw Grass and the green is being redesigned Dan spoke of the bunker that was on the left hand side of the Target that was removed as the chipping area now back into to the left hand side of the green but the target looks narrow from wherever whichever team ground you use so this part three a handful of t- shots as you look at George Bryan with his wife and caddy today Dan he will have just under 41 feet here for birdie he came over to me after he hit that shot with a big sigh of relief and said that was a scary one uh he's got a good look now pretty pretty flat putt not a whole lot of break not a whole lot of downhill not a whole lot of uphill it's a really good place to putt from after a really scary golf shot settle down good speed okay yeah really nice right there you I was asking I was asking George's wife if she plays golf and she said no because my expectations are too high that's what happens when you're married to a Brian bro you know this is the second for Brad doy on the par five4 he's just going in there with some pointed out that some of the center middle hole locations are a little bit more accessible and the golf course is playing a touch shorter but still you have to put the ball in play off the tea else you're playing defense so for the first t- shot on number 16 it's Wesley Bryan our leader at two under you got under that one it's going well right that's the shot he battles that flare out to the r hand side now that'll be in the lap of the Gods that's an energetic Marshall doing his job over to 14 Paige spanic looking for birdie walks that one in two in a row there for Paige to get back to even par with three holes to play in stroke play George Bryan on the T at 16 now Dan we talked about how consistent this half of the Brian Brothers been so far with all pars but right now that does not put you inside the top four he's got to make a move which is really surprising I think if he had take a leaderboard he'll be he'll be stunned because I think all the talk coming into this was how high the scores were going to be well these creators have come to play you know people like watching them for a reason they play really good golf look like another really good pass he's on it he's driving it on a string bunker down the left about 325 to get to that was the perfect aiming points and that is threaded yeah I didn't think we'd get to the point today where you kind of feel like you have to make birdies to see yourself in that sudden death playoff but now I don't know how aware these players are of the scoreboard but if you're even or Worse right now you're looking on the outside oh they're aware there's a big one right off the 15 T you can't miss it so I think everyone knows where they stand that Tyler Tony look at that ball run oh my goodness Fair Way maybe I don't know we certain side of the Fairway I wouldn't be projected 15th out of 16th but we're going to take his advice and do what we can with it Wesley Brian currently leads but again first place into fourth place they do the same trick all you want to do is be inside that top four through eight holes yeah certainly as you look at those folks down there you get the sense that maybe posting would be a good idea you know through 17 and you put a score up there because that does it has an influence on the folks behind you but the way this golf course is panning out folks who going through 14 right now we've seen it playing really simple this 14th hole right here you try and make some hay this is the 14th the second shot for Shawn Walsh we've seen plenty of players get on and two here can Shawn Walsh join that crew yes he can he'll have a birdie the hole's playing like a long par for for these guys and girls right now and that's the thing I was the point I was trying to make 14 is kind of the pivotal hole right now you get something happening there that sets you up for the close yeah my apologies I jumped the gun there and that ball rolled all the way through but still a good second shot as Peter Finch will putt for his third oh he drills it he has these greens figure it out that's two bombs in a row very well done the only Englishman in today's field another birdie as we are live on the 16th hole right now for our first group of the Brian Brothers Gabby golfgirl and Tyler Tony it's just a gorgeous part four reshaped you can see that bunker forced into the left hand edge of the Fairway so it Narrows the landing area and from there everything on the right side of the green has really been accentuated it pitches off there and the targets above you this is a good Par Four Four is a good score so this will be the pen ultimate hole for group number one again they'll stop play after 17 and then the sudden death playoff will take place on 18 between the top four players [Applause] Tyler Tony will be up first despite being at the bottom of the leaderboard right now Dan it's been all positive vibes from dude Perfect's very own hasn't it yeah you know I think he he didn't expect to win this so he's having a good time and he was telling me on the walk up here he has just a new found appreciation for how well these guys can score from the rough because he's been in it all day first Fairway of the day coming off his first par so a little momentum and I think that one was a little gordito W when we were in the Fairway too in the Fairway why does it have to be from the Fairway George Bryan Dan he needs a dart sooner rather than later it's it's get to be birdie time you he said he was excited to see everyone playing well but that looked like it came up a little bit short that was a misfire from down there in the Fairway this cor a little thick there and that's going to come back toward him that's a pretty vicious slope short and to the right side of the green as the players play it Wesley briyan missed the Fair Way yeah he's pretty far down there though so I think he should be able to muscle a wedge up there came out kind of nice it's flying that's a feature of this Craig green redesign see all the Fairway approaches between greens and T's offers a selection of shots it won't just be like gouge wedges out of the thick Bermuda rough chipping putting you got a the end just one of those you can't get too frisky with cuz if you get that left with speed you'll leave yourself something of consequence coming back so three Will Do no harm with his length he'll get a wedge into the next hole fat Perez looking for Birdie on number 14 stret baby oh boy it's been that sort of an outing for stby you can see he told himself so slow got to give it some power as Jason nut looks for par on 15 with that orange putter he's pretty stylish they mention to shirt isn't [Music] he he remains one over as this will be the third shot for Shawn Walsh decent Li there in the rough some sort of bump up the green but that one was caught in a heartbeat that is a misfire from the former Gonzaga University star over to 16 now this will be the third for Gabby golf girl and Dan she's got the putter out yeah it's an interesting choice Wesley is about five yards in front of her to the left and got the wedge out you know these kind of plays which is putting from off the green really was not much of a feature here at East Lake before this restoration a lot more surrounds a lot tighter grass around the greens allowing for some more options okay this is going to take her very best here very delicate putt tough to judge a speed Settle yeah just missed that bridge it'll settle down but the mistake was made with the approach shot Amy Cho looking for Birdie on number 14 we recently saw her chip in for birdie how about a putt for a circle on her card she didn't give this one enough power though no she missed that start line in a big way head Shaker Wesley Bryan's thirdd on number 16 you got a little bit of check but it's going to need to slow down just trickling out they're so quick especially below the hole that's going to leave a good 12et up the hill to avoid his first bogey of the day yeah that will create a five-way tie if he Bogies this so a huge putt coming for our leader above that whole location on 16 is no dice same thing here on 14 we saw sha in behind the hole the second shot now something of consequence back up the hill but he has seen Amy Cho come down a similar line Walsh currently 22 and 1/2 ft away coming off that birdie at 13 but we've seen plenty of players take advantage of this par five 14th again it was a par four before the course was restored over the last year let's see if he can get to two under dur and TI the lead that ball rolling perfectly end over end he saw that ball of Amy's side swipe to the left hand side so he overreacted and overread that one Tyler Tony looking for a long par save on number 16 he's back to his comfort zone another five you know this is these are some big par puts coming up as we've been talking about all afternoon the scores are a lot lower than we expected so even par might not do it we thought that might be the winning score right mhm yeah coming into today I said eight holes I think the best would be even or one over again there's still some golf to be played but I think the players are shattering all of our expectations well they give some talented people some benign conditions there's barely a breath of wind out here it's warm so the golf balls traveling a long way the greens are rolling true and you H some good shots you're being rewarded I still think though that the par FS are key and I'm excited to see what's going to happen down 18 at closing power five with a fairway that's been moved to the right hand side Gabby golf girl looking to save par on 16 she's been a bit short all day not not quite giving it the role that she would expect do uh is the internal out of bounds on 18 are we playing that for the Creator classic I know I saw that today that the PJ tour did it Wesley Bryan looking to keep the outright lead and he does just that that man opportunity for Roger Steel on 14 oh yeah massive he can do no wrong right now that was com a two-stroke swing and a reachable power five for him and look at this this is wild breaking the wild meter Roger steel just 5 years old practicing with a 17-year-old Tiger Woods what a thrill imagine being 5 years old arguably the greatest of all time watching you at golf balls incredible of course Tiger Woods has done some damage here at the Tour Championship there is Roger steel who is playing really well today and some fans on social media on his side there's the target we've seen the greens play it very very firm and there's not much room from the whole location to the front side of the green a good 15 ft or so so you have to be very precise because anything Landing long is going to skip to the back edge of the green the safety would be some 15 ft left it's the widest part of the green right there this is our group of Roger steel Amy Cho Shawn Walsh and fat Perez right now Walsh and steel currently in a tie for second that long list of one under players on the bottom right of your screen Amy Cho still in the mix at even fat Perez at three over par but you could sense these t- shot on this part three could be a huge separator between making that cut inside the top four getting little right about now yeah so it should be like full wedge goes about 46 46 a I like that sha Walsh playing with his kotti Tom broers better known by his nickname Bubby who has has 367,000 Instagram followers and over a qu million YouTube subscribers Bubby join good good in 20121 a core member of the group's playing 155 he says this wedge will travel about 146 or so that sounds about ideal landed short allowed to skip onto the whole location makes the cover playing with fire there sorry I didn't think we' go that far could have been so much worse this will be the final t- shot in the stroke play format for this first group Wesley Bryan after saving that par has the outright lead bu all the way down the left hand side and he is challenging that that is a peach right down Peach Tree avue back to 15 now Roger steel is on the T he pared the previous par three on 11 currently has four pars and a birdie wonder how much he took from that less than what tiger was when he was 5 years old you got to wonder 5y old with tiger I think he was probably just like hey man I want to hit some golf shots I don't care who you are who are you don't take my bucket of balls pretty strike that's been the order of the day even with a short scoring Club nothing beyond the whole works its way to the back side of the green this par three she's even par for the tournament surprisingly out of balance there for her ordinarily she's well organized it wasn't her best strike ever and over the 14 mik Morris looking for Eagle he has four par so far but Joel Damon he has a chance to shoot up the leaderboard even tie the lead with this Eagle pot he had a great golf shot in here uh landed it just short trickled up he's got about 18 20 feet up the hill right to left uh he scrambled his way to this point but uh two great golf shops that hit him to this point shot link has it at just under 17 ft from this camera view I'm surprised he didn't ask for that marker to be moved it looks like it's right in the line maybe that's just like a CER for him to take the ball around and Joel makes a good point there you know sometimes GF there's es and flows you just got to hang in there and he scrambled to here but all of a sudden just one stroke this could turn your tide quickly sometimes it's great to have a ball marker kind of just off your line you know it's kind of a bumper but somewhere place to aim that ball wobbled off the face you saw those two lines in the golf ball they did not track end over end as much as what he would have liked CA birdie though and he gets into that one under crew that becomes more crowded with just a few holes to play luk Quan will be next he has a birdie opportunity this one from 16 and 1 half ft what do you see here Joel Kan had to lay up off to you hit the tree and drop down had to lay up uh he's got this uphill putt looking he had a great par save last ho looking to keep the momentum going one of those you can and hit with some aggression back up the slope he did oh he Lo it in he was striding he was touching the money early did you see thatly swirl oh he had his hands all over the money early watch the early stride now he's like yeah count it count it foot or two to go could that be the difference in making the playoff and going home early Peter Finch has a very makeable birdie put here to tie the lead here Joel he's played incredibly solid all day today fa was in Greens this would be another great up and down he was in a very difficult spot just on the bunker good speed just a Miss on the line now this is huge from here yeah George Bryan needs a birdie badley and that would involve going up and down from this Fairway bunker but he is well short yeah that's that's one of those shots that gives every golfer on the planet Shivers about an 80 yard bunker shot even with how good these tour bunkers are that's just not one you want Under Pressure he's going to do his bit for Humanity don't worry wifey I've got the bunker raking I can do that part of it that's a mench right there he's a gentleman you know you know Gabby golf girl meanwhile wrapping up her stroke play portion of this tournament yeah she's got some power you I know she's playing up te's but she's been the longest off the tea pretty much every single hole and again just 16 years old so a super bright future a lovely shot there just carried the bunker getting better truly is she has acquitted herself beautifully lots of energy great golf swing future is bright even if she could she wants to play division one golf she says but even if she doesn't the future is very bright no doubt Wesley Bryan meanwhile our outright leader and he's got this approach on his final stroke play hole look they call him wedley for a reason do it oh what a shot nearly drills it from 79 y out brother daci Oro right there he'll have just a few feet for birdie to get to three under which would certainly lock him in that playoff as we jump ahead to 15 looks like Amy Cho's taking a drop not sure if this is for relief or penalty she didn't go in the water no the red penalty area is far closer to the water farther behind her that might have been a sprinkler head or something down there so should be no penalty she's made one chip today that one runs well beyond the C that's so hard though when the ball's perched up on that rough she struck down on that but sometimes it rides up the face doesn't come out with anything and then you catch one a little low and it comes out with no spin so just awkward from that range even though she was close by as we get this drone view of the island green the par 315 it's not very often you see the East Lake without a ripple it's like a mirror right mirror right now y perfect conditions as calm as could be as we will have a similar chip here for Shawn Walsh how much could he learn from Amy's chip oh you would say some certainly he saw the ball release beyond the hole which is the first thing so he knows what it's doing in terms of Direction and I don't feel like this is that big a deal clean isly got a turn keep turning all right a few feet to clean up his par and remained at that crowded one under Club as we jump ahead to 17 Dan George Bryan is it crazy to say he needs to hold this out to have a chance on this final hole definitely needs to get it up and down you know there's there's still some holes left some pressure to come some bogeys out there but you don't want to post anything overpar with the way this field is playing and this is a pretty simple chip without the pressure that's there's there is pressure and that's what you saw right there he caught that a little heavy tough last hole for George Well leg go is my prediction I'll stick to golf announcing and get out of the prognostication business shall I fair enough this is a birdie opportunity for Rogers steel and he has 33 and 1/2 ft this is to tie the lead slow [Music] down as we jump back to the 17th hole so in this final group we are going to most likely see Wesley Bryan advance advance but Gabby golf girl Tyler Tony and even George Bryan in significant danger of having their tournaments come to an end here Dan very serious danger I think it's a big surprise to see George you know he's playing so well driving it so well he just and that's the thing is if you don't convert on those 10-ft birdie putts you start to Ru them as the round goes on he just he just couldn't make one to get off the mark That's a good call he had the opening one on the first hole downhill about 15 ft left it right in the mouth and then down there on 12 I think that was the heartbreaker this has to go yeah 23 and 1/2 ft for his eighth par that's been the order of the day that's pretty much emblematic of George Bryan's day so big brother will have to capitulate to little brother again yes he will I hate doing that how surprised are you that George Bryan's going to have his tournament end early very surprised I I thought he was coming in here playing well when I spoke with him a couple weeks ago he was jacked up for this but look Wesley is not a you don't you don't accidentally stumble into PGA toour victories no this is Gabby golf girl this would be a positive way to end her Creator classic I'm going to make a bold call here she will play division one golf I think I'm really really going out on on a limb there few more years for the bird good line just an inch to the right Roger steel has some meat on the bone for par here at 15 he scrambled big save back there on 14 this is huge for his cause time is now looking to stay in that tie for second at one under is doing it all remind me about these five shots he's done way more than five good butts and five good irons and five good drives which was the recipe pre-round so gutsy from Steel Tyler Tony he never really had a cooking today but he's having a lot of fun here at eastle I still this guy walked for what was it 140 yard on he could have shot a 100 today and I'm holding him in high regard yeah unbelievable Shawn Walsh looking to clean up his par and remain at one under as well that's big man I never thought we'd get to the point where even leaves you with a lot of work to do as Wesley Bryan can't finish his birdie at number 17 goly but he's in the clubhouse at two under and we will more than likely see him in that 18th hole playoff you would think that's good enough cuz all of the players are through the 14th the par five as George Bryan ends with a bogey one over for this half of the Brian Brothers you know Wesley said that he had a a Target on his back he's done the first thing that you have to do which is get yourself to the playoff he can rest easy now get about 30 minutes get in the AC and get ready for 18 so who will more than likely join Wesley Bryan on the 18th could it be Micah Morris who is in that crowded one under Club big t-shot here on the par 31 15th Joel Damon yes this is a daunting t-shot mikah has played great up to this point uh you just want to hit this about 15 20 ft left there's a Rolex clock faway okay good to know Joel luk Quan started off with that double bogey but he rebounded tremendously with back toback 30s and since then a couple of pars I think Luke was very nervous on the first toll he admitted that to me uh didn't handle that as well as he wanted to but bounce back with back to back for a reason has played very solid since I know he's one of the favorites today and he is showing like he is it just get on the green and roll a little what a golf shot perfectly that's the best we've seen on 15 all smiles for the Oklahoma Sooner Luke Quan hey it's a good and he just gave his famous line of okay and finally huge slinging mat Boucher frustrating five over through five holes as this one will just run through the green I don't know but that's probably buried in some helping to attract that younger audience and you can see a lot of younger guyss old boys I'm just stating a fact and thanks appreciate you I'm just reading what I read all right but yes it is great to above the green I'm not really surprised that Wesley's not on the Range it's hot out there they're pretty loose and just get hydrated you know stay mobile right have to necessarily hit the balls you can see Wesley Bryan at the Finish Line at two under right now it would be a three-way chip off for two spots between Walsh Finch and Quan the top four will advance to that part 518th in a sudden death playoff scores will be wiped away so there will be drama down the stretch well think about this drama Walsh is in the trees down the left hand side of 17 Finch is a long rage par attempt Michel Maris is scrambling for par even folks can get back in it too exactly this is not over yet there is the aformentioned Michael Morris started with four pars a birdie at 14 but aogi at 15 and here he is with a long par putt shot link has it at 23t 2 in Joel what do you see on this read this is going to be really fast breaking a lot right to left one of those that you do just not want to run it way past the hole give himself a chance coming down 17 absolutely massive I'm loving the way that you guys are into this pum that is worth another Peak holds his follow through now it's tracking now he knows yeah you know long drives are one thing but made putts when it means something that's entirely another feeling and now it's Peter Finch from the other side looking to avoid his first bogey of down for par one under might be a good enough score to get to that playoff don't you think I would almost say that one under is guaranteed to get the playoff I think one under may be safe speaking of one under that's where Luke K Quan is right now a birdie to get to two under here at 16 would go a long way Mongolian reversal this goes Finch misses you get one guy two and one guy even yep golf's crazy man there a very similar line to the putt that mikah just made so hopefully gave him a teach here just more than 12 feet for Quan he had a good put normally you'll see if players is unhappy they'll raise up and out of the posture as soon as the ball leaves the face he was in there he thought that ball was certainly on the line he intended four in the end will do him no harm so he'll remain at one under heading to that 17th and final hole Roger steel second on 17 From the Rough he's almost down there in that divots where Paige sparck was and he will test that putter One More Time Jake yes he will he just made a 55 footer he'll need a two- putt to guarantee a spot in that playoff but that is not going to be easy it'll leave him 52 feet in a few minutes this is a a huge bogey putt for Peter Finch on 16 just to drop one and get to even oh it swirls in and that is absolutely massive Peter mentioned to me a few holes ago that he was getting tired he's got some jetl going on he flew in from Europe and this might be catching up with him but that was a great bogey save there to give him a chance to come down 17 that was thoroughly professional all a break from his right hand side if you're going to miss miss it high because gravity will always work and it worked me his favor right there PR it's what diamonds are forged in Precious F precious F back to 17 this is the third for Amy Cho she's had some luck with her wedge earlier on a chip in but this is a big bunker shot keep chucking kind of unfortunate for Amy who was one under par through the four 13th hole and then from there it's kind of come apart at the seams a little bit yeah after that chip and birdie she's three over in the last three holes so just two groups left on the course one at the 17 green one at the 17t where these players are jocking for a spot in that top four Shawn Walsh is currently in a tie for third and after that arant shot a beautiful second he's got the flat sck out here for his third that's the safety play and I love there standing behind the ball just using the right arm you can see they're kind of getting a feel almost if he was rolling the ball up the hill towards the flag get the brain connected with the body it's all about how the ball comes through the zagross this is 57 and2 ft he moved at about 57 and a half that was fantastic yeah as you can see players who have already finished enjoying a seat here at 17 where we could have a potential chip off but right now there would be no chip off the top four is separated and there is current co-leader Wesley briyan ching with Gary Clark here's fat Perez greenside bunker this blade wide open STS open thumps the sand there but just not enough spin from close range that's something to look for in the Tour Championship back up to the green on 17 Roger steel drilled one from 55 on the last hole this one just inside 52 for birdie as the gallery increases but you love that beautiful overhead drone shot you would say the first five maybe 6 7even ft is pretty level then it's downhill for a little while then should flatten off so Pace control super important there is our current look at the leaderboard top four move on to the par 518th right now it would be Walsh and Quan joining steel and Wesley Bryan but as you can see Morris and Finch can birdie or walan Quan can Bogi there's still a lot of moving pieces here down the stretch you would think the two from here would luck Roger Steels position in the final four do you think that changes how he approaches this is it not all systems go here he's just going for it no I think he's just got to keep doing what he's been doing everything's been on point especially this flat stick turns downhill now pick up a little speed oh this is really good but it checks a few feet short that's what makes it tough you can see that slope down there but the last portion of that journey is just gently uphill to that whole location he left it in the best place a while they're hitting some fantastic shots what does it mean to have all these incredible fans out here supporting YouTube golfers and creators like yourself it's so special because we have these amazing communities who support us and follow us through the ups and downs of our personal life and professionally but there's really no place for them to watch us in person and so to have this opportunity for us to be together in a competitive setting where they can see all of us at the same time is unlike anything we ever expected and I think it's special for us and I think it's special okay 56 I'm thinking I need a little less than a 90 shot just as things are going a little further yeah yeah I agree if if you like that it might actually be at 60 if you're going to actually trap it I would argue is might be the longest hitter in this field has been going with that mini driver that two it off the te cuz if he had had the big dog I think the green would have been in danger all right Joel with Peter Finch being 49 yards out he most likely needs birdie how aware of the situation do you think he is right now down the stretch here on 17 well he's very aware I just had a quick with him uh this is his bread and butter he says he hits 50 yard shots all the time on his range at home he mentioned that this one might scare the hole He also mentioned there might be an awesome celebration if it does go in he is very aware of what is going on right now and where he's at in the leaderboard just these screens are so firm from these short distances M yeah you're right man he executed well there the ball just took that hard skip he knew it I do think he landed exactly where he wanted to uh that's just new greens that are very difficult and short shots just aren't going to spin around here oh Str that so new greens a great jot manm you hit it perfect everyone a fan of Peter Finch on social media we just saw Joel give him some props that he hit a great shot a lot of Finch fans hoping that I'm a finch fan believe have you seen his golf swing it fell out of Heaven hoping that he can make his way to the playoff here at 18 I love his mindset he's easy with a smile of content on social is great again I'm a golf teacher deep down and I've got an affinity to guys like this he and Amy Cho and folks who are teaching golfers back into the game as well that's tremendous AAR assuming a long birdie from Morrison Finch doesn't go in a par would get Quan in if par three if Quan Three putts Morrison Finch are suddenly back in the conversation yeah I agree there but as you going over this you just want to make a decision one way or the other if you L Quan you don't want to get over there and go okay make it and then when you make your swing you're like no no no lag it you have to be committed to what you're going to do here and with this one downhill picking up speed I feel like if it's going in it's tumbling in on the very last Revolution as you can see this is a birdie to tie the lead but the lead with this format doesn't mean anything you just want to stay inside that top four from 40t for birdie just needs a two putt to at least see a chip off sometimes these downhill putts are way easier when you're under pressure you just got to get started down the slope settle down oh boy and sometimes they're way harder he's still easy with a smile isn't he right now he's like oh gravity's winning this battle see you goodbye it ran 9 and 1/2 ft past the pin which suddenly makes the these putts from M Morris and Peter Finch all that more important no pressure on that man Wesley Bryan two under this is the biggest putt of the tournament so far Peter Finch from 22 and 1/2 ft to get to one under h a good putt it's one of those where if you start it too straight the ball's going to Veer off to the right hand side so quickly with that slope he did everything he could we saw our Joel Damon as they walked onto the green going man you landed the ball exactly where you needed to that was the second shot it skipped beyond the flag and he's had a few good shots it's going to come out empty been a frustrating day on the course for M Boucher he is six over this is for par to close out his tournament yeah but I don't care what he does after that t- shot on the first where you take a right-handed a left hander turned the thing upside down hit it down the Fairway that was the ultimate flex No Doubt I've been in Max isues a lot uh unfortunately in my career and it's one of those situations there's everyone's around the green your playing competitors are playing well they have huge puts coming up and you just want to get out of the way as easy as possible and it's not the most fun that you can ever have on the of course yeah makes a lot of sense but he hit that Putt and he's out of the way now for M morus who has a birdie putt from just more than 20 feet to get to one under par and at minimum guarantee a chip off some extra deep breaths before this putt he is feeling the nerves this is what he's here for same shape as Peter Finch sets it off to the left hand side and just does not turn down the hill enough all right this putt means everything in terms of a potential chip off luk K Quan has 9 and2 ft to save par if he makes it he's in at one under par if he misses Morris and Finch can save their par and we would have a three-way tie at even which would bring other players back into the conversation such as Brad dokey who's even par every golf shot makes somebody happy and somebody sad watch right here Luke K Quan from 9 and 1/2 ft to make the playoff at the Creator classic yes sir absolute guts from Luke K Quan and we will see him at the 18th yeah bus nice job he knew he was making that comeback and that's why it was all smiles after sailing that first one yeah as Bower as Joel hinted at just wants to get out of the way so frustrating day for the Canadian but still great to see him part of this event and now with the smiles from Luke Quan at one under as you mentioned a putt made for him is bad news for this man in Peter Finch this one's just for par to finish even I guarantee you one thing is for certain he has hundreds of thousands of fans but he has grown more today Peter Finch yeah Mel Morris finishes at even as well so we'll take a look at the leaderboard that ends stroke play and there is no need for a chip off right now that man Wesley Bryan finished at two under par and three players at one under par it'll be Wesley Bryan Roger steel Shawn Walsh and Luke Quan all heading to 18 important to note Mark that one stroke lead right now by Wesley Bryan is now irrelevant we have a clean slate heading to 18 it's playoff time it's all playful one title is going to go to one deserving player all four of those guys I must say in fact I will even go to the guys there around the even par number all seven of them played beautifully the golf course was challenging it was long conditions were impressive and everybody even par better played awesome so it's Wesley Bryan Roger steel Shawn Walsh and Luke Quan heading to the 18t box that n and a half footer for Quan if he missed that three other players that even would have been in there would have been a four-way chip off at 17 if he missed that you 72 5:00 p.m. in the East I'm kind of glad we didn't go extra holes there because if we tide here after the 18th hole we will continue to go sudden death chip off so I have a sense with the way this hole is playing as long as Roger steel is lqu is you know it's reachable for those guys but the way the Fairway is been moved off to the right hand side the t-shot is way way harder than it used to be you can see there the arrows overhead you're pointing straight down the right towards those trees so accuracy off the team will be rewarded but you have to hand the advantage to the longer guys given the circumstances would you give the edge to luk Quan knowing that he's coming straight off of the 17th green and Wesley Bryan sat for what nearly an hour yeah good call there I would absolutely say so and not only is he fresh but he's coming off a nice P hole we've seen the light dean of the whole long did did today so this is the first time today that we're seeing the par five 18 hole we saw a lot of players take advantage of the previous par five the 14th hole but right now it's a brand new ball game for all four players significant change to this hole from previous tour championships as pointed out the Fairway move to the right there's a 375 yd or so run out a big slope the speed slot that they used to have down there has been softened a little bit the fairways Crown so finding that narrow Fairway is really challenging look at this they're really being treated like PGA Tour professionals got to go sign your score card have them officially register it you know they mentioned space camp in terms of this day and they're really fine-tuning every little detail to make this experience that more special for these guys and girls they played like PGA Tour players Roger Steel he can have that 55f footer for birdie earlier today to thank for making this playoff he made a few of the putts as well I would even go a few holes before that where he was in trouble down the par five 14th made a 20 footer full five for power to keep him relevant there's Wesley Bryan we mentioned he was sitting and watching for nearly an hour he didn't take any practice swings since he finished that 17th Pole just a reminder that this is brand new round former winner on the PGA tour the 2017 RBC Heritage he won YouTube golf championship number three in Bermuda beat Grant Corvette in a playoff another talented golf content creator as you see Luke Quan finishing his signature and we'll soon be heading to the 18th T box and just a reminder you can see all the camera crews around there and there's our Chad mom in the back with a headset on um each one of these creators has their own team there with them too and they will be creating some content from this event as well so this thing's going all over the show shout out to Chad mom for being the brains behind putting this whole thing interesting LS off the tea here he's still deciding what he wants to do the conversation with that 10th Fairway with the Fairway being moved to the right hand side a number of the PGA tour players have gone left to the left of the pine tree here in the foreground and taken the ball down 10 it's an easier shot to find the Fairway all right as the sun continues to set Wesley Bryan beginning this playoff this one's headed well left about a 20-minute gap for him if it's far enough left he might be okay but certainly going to miss the Fairway well left and I don't know if this is an intimidation factor from Roger steel but if it is it's working he's got I believe a hybrid it's 375 roll out and apparently drivers too much and three wits too much so Wesley safely down there in the 10th Fairway now still yeah he mentioned before the tournament even started this tournament is going to come down to his driver but he does not have the big stick out here yeah when you got 195 ball speed you got to you got to kind of dial it back this one's also going to miss left the issue is with with where the water is now there's really nowhere to lay up you you can't carry it with the second shot so we might see some Pitch outs here [Music] I feel like you do have the right that Paul got on the C path by the looks of things it'll be a long way down there for rer steel number of treeses Sean just asked me sorry Mark Sean just asked me if Wesley Bryan's Drive was good and I said yeah it's in the Fairway so it looks like he might be taking a similar line that should be good down that line hie this is a par five sudden death playoff and that's possible now with the way the whole design has gone because a number of trees were removed down the Fairway in the layup zone for the second shot so where is they have to take the ball up over the trees it's not as daunting a prospect as what it would have been last year when the par five was a little different a shape all right let's send it down to the course Joel Damon standing by with fat Perez I am here with fat Perez maybe the fan favorite today maybe a little I shouldn't say shocking but that first te was was incredible stried it down the middle how' the rest of the day go for you I know it was five over par yeah I mean had a lot of fun out there um didn't quite hit the irons the way I'm used to hitting the way you're used to seeing me hit him but uh you know the course is playing tough the greens are super firm um but I had a blast man what a great time uh this is the first time for the Creator classic a lot of people came out for this this is an incredible final hole TOUR Championship week next year again I hope so man I mean look this is what you dream of as a kid coming down 18 at East Lake with a chance to win um you know hopefully we have another shot of it and give myself a chance I know this is what wedley dreamed of his whole life right so got I also did also Joel so yeah I mean look this is what it's this sudden death playoff and hopefully this is the first of many Creator Classics to come over the next few years it was tremendous I certainly hope you and I get an invitation back I will happily the green so you think if I can hit a N9 maybe like 120 that's if you can give me super Ste I can hit a if you can give me 130 yards I would be very he has to keep this left anything low and right could be issues [Music] that was really well done from that lie yeah that was an interesting follow through but that's basically all he could do right Mark yeah the LI is one thing I got to tell you I walked that layup area check another look at the contact this Ball's way down in the Bera rof downhill line now he's got to make sure he stays in there watch the body remain down arms extend down the line of the shots and the follow through because the body's going downhill kind of sliding downhill I tell you what that layup area is so narrow they've extended the water down the right hand side and if you're missing the left on the r you got next to nothing layup was so hard I just need to I want to find the P again so steel did what he needed to do after that t-shot think they're standing now Quan Brian and Walsh all in similar spots for this second yep playing at 232 Bubby as cadd just told me it's a straight line to the green if you take it on the edge of that tutor Clubhouse you are in much higher and much further left than Chan he liks to fade it that one is not fading how uh how good the short game about to be yeah he's going to have to bring the short game skills from down there that was uh that was an oopsie oh look at his caddy for this playoff his brother George and the final man to hit his second shot is luk Quan ball slightly below his feet here looking to fade it into the hole got the right sh out in front of that t touch spot so it all will come down to the short game in this death playoff on 18 D if you're watching I made the playoff for you I told him to roast coming for Roger steel who had to lay up after the t- shot see in the green yeah yeah that line okay he's got an opportunity here to stick one and put the pressure on the other guys that's kind of the benefit of of going first of laying up if he can stick this close he he gives them one to look at would only be a wedge hold on ER the ball is below my feet a little bit I'm going go a little further left okay you see how this I mean I saw it I just all right still a good P okay here's the third for steal it's on a really good line guys yeah PA front right about there it's going to have to work hard to turn on the green we've seen very few balls dig in on these F surfaces they hit and spun indication of the quality of contact on that short iron so he is playing from behind in this sudden death playoff steel lying three meanwhile Brian Walsh and luk Quan all lying two and if they are still tied after this 18th hole sudden death playoff there will be a chip off here on 18 from about 25 yds out starting to fart fight Darkness here let's see if someone can win it out right before a potential chip off is needed right now on the angles of these three shots I would definitely give Luke Quan The Edge you can see there where uh sha Walsh is walk Walking he's going to have to navigate that shoulder off the bunker Wesley Bryan from the rough downhill this is just downright hard and then of course you got Roger steel playing he's fourth so Advantage right now in my opinion taquan mhm the guy who double bogie his first hole that's golf double bogy birdie birdie to start for that man luk Quan he played his college golf at the University of Oklahoma born in South Korea grew up in Frisco Texas and now has roughly 300,000 YouTube subscribers as a content creator you feel good about it so what Wes is doing here right now is taking relief from Gary become de for taking the Run yes we do have PJ tour rules officials for this event drop over here every little detail is covered for these content creators to be treated like they are playing in the Tour Championship and right on Q the r is temporary immovable obstructions it's no penalty you move to the place where you have full relief for stance and swing and then it's a drop with no penalty no miror hope just messed up my meas I look good to you there that's where you found your swing to be free of it yep okay you don't with a witch makes it that much more makeable so he's on the green and three both Quan and Walsh are about to hit their third and I believe that is the putter in the hand of Shawn Walsh yeah Walsh is putting through a good 30 25 30 ft of Fringe here but it is I think the safe play Al would you be from down here um you know what I think I would if the Creator classic was on the line Mark all right not much to it though from both sides of the hole the green is sloping towards the cup straight over that uh yardage or that sprinkler head right over there there a bit of a misjudgment see that's why from those Fairways down there I know they're tight but if you get a lofted wedge in your hand you can get a little spinach on that thing get a little get that ball just a stall once it hits the green cuz you could hit that putt so hard up that slope to get it up there and then all of a sudden it's got all that speed with no resistance so Quan has nearly an identical shot here hi but he has a wedge out yeah he's been looking at a spot about six Paces on going for that nippy Bermuda lob wedge that we all love It's Tricky though but you got to risk it for the biscuit risk it for the biscuit so key here is to just get the ball slightly back in the stance quiet feet keep the body rotating through contact all right so here's the situation folks all four players in our sudden death playoff are all lying three Seal's fourth will be next he's the only only one currently not on the green yeah he needs to hold this to have a chance but I mean what a performance you look at the other three guys Wesley played on the PGA tour uh Juan played at Oklahoma Sean's played progolf and Roger a scratch handicap I think he's going to need to turn this score in because I think that handicap's going [Applause] down oh Saucy good sh what a great effort what a great showing for Roger steel wouldn't to be so fast to make any commentary here because we not in the hole just yet someone's got a drill a birdie someone's got to drill a birdie to eliminate him he is not done just yet assuming he can tap this in see if he'll mark it or finish he will Mark he'll see these birdie putts play out first or will he finish all right so we have three birdie putts up coming a birdie won't immediately win it but a birdie would eliminate Roger steel yeah and first in wins in the situation first putt to go down that's ordinarily the winner because when as soon as you make it knocks the other ones back a few feet and the hole instantly gets smaller in your is that how it works so I believe it there's no need to be hanging around sh and Walsh other competitors from today taking a look with the stakes as high as ever in this first ever Creator classic in a sudden death playoff great job by the committee with this format knowing that there would be drama no matter how the leaderboard shaped out and here we have a birdie opportunity from good good member sha Walsh played his college golf e in zaga yeah and he's one of those players you can see there realigning the line on the golf ball and that beautiful closeup of his eyes as he was going through the routine set up the ball like no that's not enough reset the spitting that right Ed just misses so steel is still alive this thing is not over yet Walsh is in for par he's going to have to hope that these two birdie putts Miss as well and head to a chip off the next birdie putt opportunity will come from Wesley [Music] Bryant and he misses left as well that sets the stage for Luke Quan on 17 he had to make a par putt to advance to the playoff Mark now he has a birdie putt to walk it off and go Grand what a cool story this man has great player turned professional became an influencer then had that horrific golf cart accident had to have emergency brain surgery at one stage wasn't sure if he was going to live and now here we are Luke Quan this birdie putt to win the first ever Creator classic and he buries it Luke Quan your 2024 Creator classic champion in at East Lake Bravo began his day with a ragged double boy six on the first hole mixed in a few more birdies made the massive save from about 9 ft on the eighth hole to get into the playoff the birdie to win just absolute guts on his last two putts of the day that was never missing that left to face it had one destination [Music] Bingo watch this Perfection right off the face it was never going anywhere else played his college golf at the University of Oklahoma Boomer Sooner Luke K Quan wins it on the 18th green I you the whole time it the whole time I called it the whole time told you i' see you all right and before the winner presentation let's send it down to how lead better here with the one the only Roger steel Roger walk me through this final four 18th hole here how are you feeling I feel I felt confused on the te like to see them hitting the ball that far left into Oblivion and not know where they were going and where the ball was coming down it confused me a lot uh and now you know I don't trust Wesley Bryan no more because I feel like you know I don't know I just feel like I could have been better informed about what the players do on that ho you know what I mean but outside of that it was fun you know even over there from the left it's not like they had a gimme situation where they could just land it on here and make it easy birdie so it was it was great everything about this was great you told me coming into the crater classic that you had pretty low expectations so how are you feeling now that you got to the final four I felt like you know I told myself coming into this that all it would take for me is like five good drives like if I could keep the ball in the f way the rough is to penal you can't do anything out of it if I can keep the ball in the Fairway I I play pretty decent and I did that you know I was on the Range I hit my five good drives and then I stop hitting driving cuz I'm like if I just do that we'll be fine so yeah just you know I think that this the course can be very penal From the Rough if you miss if you miscalculating off the T it it it seems impossible to score well you should be so proud bounce back after that that start must have been a shock to your system uh well I hit it in the right rough and then I tried to hit a 60 out cuz I mean you want your most Loft out of there and it went like 60 yards I was like what is going on cuz it was like 120 yard shot so I was like please try not to hit it in the rough anymore which I didn't end up following but I don't know I told the camera I was going to make two birdies in a row afterwards just to I just messing around really and it ended up happening and then uh made a birdie on one of the other holes I can't remember terrible at remembering holes but then I kind of saw myself in the mix I was like oh if I can just get myself to 200 I think I'm safe you made some big putts down the stretch did you know what was on the Stak that there on 17 and and in the playoff 17 I actually thought I had to make it otherwise I was going into like some like chip off or playoff or something I didn't know what we were going to do there was a bunch of ties um I thought there were a bunch of ties that went under and turns out there wasn't so I was already the end what does it mean to you I mean you've had quite the journey in golf you played professional golf you've been doing YouTube now to be the inaugural champion of the Creator classic presented by Blackstone uh it's it's really cool because obviously this is these are some of the biggest creators obviously this isn't every everyone out there I want to you know obviously there's still a lot of other big creators that didn't make it today but it's cool to have all these big creators creating a wave with YouTube golf and social media and being able to win the first one is is pretty special well well done what a great event thank you to everybody for watching back to you guys all right thank you Dan congratulations to luk Quan man oh man those putts on 17 and 18 he'll remember for a very long time I'll say so I mean what a day a perfect weather perfect golf course set up great field you just have to give kudos to everybody involved from the organizers the sponsors in Blackstone the guys at Pro Shop Chad M and Company and then our folks in the trucks and our camera crew they were bustling about all over the place to get all of this sort of footage of guys in the rough balls all over the place and it was super exciting in the end I mean to come down to luk Quan gets that Grizzly start and then makes the birdies net clutch put on the eighth and then on the ninth hole the final hole to win that was super cool stuff yeah so clutch the biggest takeaway for me is even the players who struggle today they had Smiles on their faces the entire time they enjoyed the experience from top to bottom it was really cool to see as you would think I mean this is the Tour Championship this is like the crowning stop on the PGA tour for the season we've got the 30 best players here and now we get to come and hang out for nine holes the Eve on the eve of the tour tour Championship it's a thrill it's a thrill for us and certainly was a thrill for them yeah no doubt it really puts in perspective the separation that the 30 players you'll see later this week how good at golf they really are because we saw a lot of folks struggle today and the 16 players today they are very good golfers as well hi my name is Mark and I Stand Accused because I didn't think anyone
