what's going on everybody today is Wednesday August 28th when I'm recording this video my name is David Delano with winners andwers.com we're gonna talk about a college football game going on Thursday August 29th I'll give you my H free pick here check out the leaderboard check out the website there's a 35% off promo code in the description you can use that on the handicapper of your choice um let me know what you guys are excited about for this season and if you have any betting strategies that you guys want to put out there do you um have any models are you a model person um are you an AI person or do you use handicappers do you handicap yourself do you get into a lot of research um do you go more off a field do you go more off of the eye test a little bit of a mix of both may sound like a little boring but everybody's got those different strategies that they use to win you look at different videos and compile it or you get none of that stuff you know what do you like let me know if that even makes sense to you may go that may have went over some people's heads but it's all good um let's go ahead and talk about this game here between the um Toledo Rockets and the Duke Kane Dukes right now at the time of recording we've got bet Rivers has Toledo as a 28o favorite DraftKings has Toledo as a 27 and a half Point favorite and we saw every single dog cover on week zero maybe a situation where it's tough to lay a big number like this but um Toledo Jason candle has been the coach there since well he coached the bowl game in 2015 First full season 2016 how some of his teams have fared in some of the big mat games later in the year you know he can have some criticism for candle there but for the for the most part Toledo arguably the most successful program in the Mac during his 10 this team has some Ro players on it and um looking at what candle's done in situations like this last year Toledo beat Texas Southern 71 to3 then we go back the year before 2022 they played Long Island at home beat him 37 and nothing also beat UMass 55-10 going back a little further 20121 Toledo Hammer Northfolk State 49-10 the Rockets did lose some key players from last year including their quarterback dayquan fan who transferred to Baylor but Tucker gleon quarterback coming in he does have quite a bit of experience inside the Toledo program the cup the cup is far from empty here in Toledo on the other side we've got a Duane team they want to push the ball down the field I think that that's gonna hurt them and allow Toledo to get plenty of possessions in this game Dukane last year lost to West Virginia 56 to 17 Austin Coastal Carolina 66-7 Toledo just reloads and against a team like duaine I think that the Rockets are going to make a statement here early in the year I like Toledo to cover those 28 points so give me the Toledo Rockets minus the 28 against duaine here for Thursday August 29th let me know what you guys like God bless good luck
