well someone told me that you were struggling on defense here in college football 25 well luckily I'm here to save you we're going to be talking through my entire thought process through an entire let's just jump right into [Music] it all right so here we are we're playing against the Arizona wild cats here obviously you know we're using Michigan um I guess I shouldn't say Obviously but we're using Michigan here but let me know if you guys enjoy at these you know Inside the Mind videos I can definitely do more of them uh where you know we're not just in practice mode we're playing against somebody else we're kind of thinking through the game a real game and we're in a real game situation it's been a little minute since I've you know even played this game you know was sick a little bit the last you know couple days so we're back here and let's just see see what we can do good tackle but 13 yd line let's just jump right into defense all right so luckily for us Michigan is one of these teams that has this nickel through three stack that you guys know I like so much but for him he's going to be in a spread formation um we're going to be running You Know cover two here we're going to see this time he goes to run the ball so a lot of the time oh and he's okay so he's picking up the tempo early we're just going to run cover three over here on that side he's going to go play action great defense ooh you could see right there so what he did right there was we were able to loop around he just you know quick snapped just a terrible play but we were able to loop around this Loop you know they had a patch and I'm not exactly sure you know what they ended up doing in the patch I mean I'm sure they had to have you know tried to um fix some of the pass protection stuff but you're able to see we're still able to Loop so our Blitz is still very good all right but third down for him and honestly I mean I just think that we're just going to send the five man he's an empty so it's going to be tough for us to run you know you know a base cover two or cover three defense from this look so we're just going to try to get after the quarterback uh I mean that's really that's pretty bad right there I mean he led that pass and he still caught it I tried to get over the top with my user um I just wasn't really able to I mean I don't understand how that gets open but you know we weren't able to Loop so that's that's obviously not good for us he's going to go to Wildcat here which means we're obviously going to run commit we're going to run commit right up the middle here and that's probably not the best decision cuz he ends up handing it off we're just going to go right back to that cover three defense that I talked about earlier where we're also going to be we're just going to run a cover three Cloud so it's going to look something like this this is the player he's going to motion over I mean that's fine honestly we have good defense oh we have good defense and we drop a pick this isn't Madden bro this isn't Madden we should not be dropping interceptions come on bro like that ball hit us right in the hands bro we got to be able to bring in interceptions I mean we're going to run cover two here uh he's in a very you know unique formation here so this very isn't very good for us but we're going to do a good this good defense I like this I like this on kicking the ball off and we kick it out of bounds really not ideal there but what I was saying was there might be other routes on the field that that time I thought I didn't think there was anything else on the field that could have got open but you don't want to have a distracted user you want to do a really good job of um just guarding everything everything on the field um and actually right here we're just going to run man coverage just try to loop around I'm going pass commit too I think he's going to pass from this the way he just motioned out it might be an RPO but we're pass committed so we're going to be fine he went goes with a zigg I mean yeah that's a good tackle I mean I was an off man so I can see how that gets open that's fine for us actually just as long as we don't give up any of the big play stuff right uh this time he's going to run great great great great that was great man coverage and there's sometimes where if if they're just going to call like random plays like that that's fine because now we have really good man coverage in the field you see we're able to just loop around that Loop still very good and it makes it tough for a lot of these offensive players who have bad pocket presents like that I'm actually going to realign some of my Defenders here I don't really like how you know they're spaced out now I do like it a lot better I feel like we can play a lot better defense here especially you know we're going to be only sending a fourman we're going to be running cover two right here cover two a little risky but as long as we can get pressure on the quarterback he's going to go with that post that's more gray defense man just thinking about what he's trying to do he's literally just trying to throw the ball over the middle of the field and as long as we can have a good user this time I'm actually not going to run cover three we're going to I mean excuse me run cover two we're going to run cover three ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh um just have a good user over the middle of the field oh that's bad that's bad ah it's so bad he called a shrie that's such a bad play to give up on Fourth and 22 so right there he just ran two streaks on the field on that side and he was just able to throw one of them like before the safety I was trying to run cover three but he like motioned over and like so it just threw everything off just bad defense by me and when you're on fourth down like that I probably should have used another timeout and gotten in something else um yeah bad defense I I didn't have that guy manned up good stick by him uh when you give up that's so demoralizing to get fourth and 22 I really just should have been in cover four walk those safeties down but you just make bad decisions sometimes bad by me that's that's really bad to give up he's in doubles here I really like I mean we need to run some more cover three verses dude and force him to you know throw the ball on the sideline like right now he's really just having it too easy for himself right now I mean great oh good play bad user again that's just another bad user by me I should have been in the middle of the field but you know I you know tried to uh move outside and take away a table route on the running back sometimes you just got to give up what's open you know I feel like we did a pretty decent job there on defense you know we obviously could have gotten off the field on a fourth and 22 but you know to get a pick six give up points afterwards it's fine right we got we just got to show our our offense off here um we are in this Michigan offense because you know we're playing this head-to-head game mode but yeah the thing about this you know road to the cfp is you're kind of stuck with whatever Playbook um you have the thing about Michigan I like and oh my gosh I've been playing too much Madden bro and that's something I don't miss bro like why do you just randomly get full starts in this game for no reason bro anyway yeah but here in this road to the cfp you know you have to use the Playbook of the team that you know you're using but I actually like Michigan's offense and Michigan's defense right here he's in cover three so we're just going to take our TI bro come on catch the ball bro what are we doing that guy's wide open like dude the ball hits this dude right in the hands bro like what am I watching pickes like actually that's the first time I've actually seen a throw out a sack turn into an interception this year so it's just Mighty lucky that he ends up getting it and runs it back for a touchdown all right he's back in this empty base Flex um we're pass committing running cover zero backed off man we're going to see what uh good play I mean great defense though right so what happened going to be something that he would try to throw and we're just able to pick it off so we're playing great defense he's obviously not he's playing horrible defense and we're going to try to show that off again right here uh we're going to take off with our quarterback I don't know what this QB spy is doing on the field like he can actually contain our quarterback good job up to to the four all righty uh second and goal from the 9 yd line here uh we're just going to go ahead take our tight end route um mean all up to the one yard line we're going to try to milk this down and probably take a time out um cuz I mean we have two plays anyway we want to make sure we give ourselves two plays so we'll go ahead run it all the way down to the 12 I mean I might just put our ball here and aggressive and run the football man I mean that kind of sounds like our best bet and then you know if we're not able to score just kick a field goal and he obviously is going to be selling out to run or for the Run can we get in good come on Donovan Edwards get big one time man come on I mean you hear it used in basketball all the time but here in football still apply is turning defense into offense set the offense up with the short field because we just have a good user on the last play and we're or on the last drive and we're able to you know make him you know make a bad read cuz he's we had definitely some situations where we played really good defense you know just got to be more consistent honestly um especially on those fourth Downs I gave up too many fourth Downs so um just got to have a better user in those situations but you know a pretty entertaining game you know that's the first time I feel like I've you know raged a little bit here you know on in a YouTube gameplay
