Hall of Fame void uh again I I say everyone won because we got to watch football football was back we got a bet on football nobody lost any money I guess unless you had the first half under but uh yeah so yeah good times I mean I I don't think the game under was GNA make it so no I was not optimistic about the under 32 although it was optimistic about uh the Chicago Bears would that plus 105 on the money line would have liked my my two-p pick uh Underdog fantasy entry of the third string quarterbacks their lower passing yards to cash oh man although it's still pending I don't know I'm assuming they're going to they're going to avoid it but you never know Ryan a guy can dream that's what the preseason is all about dreaming and the sports books they they took one out of the against Dome football because if this game was played in a dome wow you're over uh 31 and a half would have cashed or maybe not at a a High School stadium yeah well I don't think that I don't think that I think any outdoor stadium they would have canceled it they have a they have I feel an NFL stadium they have the weather controlling devices that allow us to get back to the football quicker all right I didn't I didn't think about the weather controlling devices well you you read about the bills in their new stadium they were going to try to control the wind uh all right we got uh a bunch to the greatest show on Turf man uh one of my hometown Heroes you could say Adam Timberman he he was the guard for the St Louis Rams when they were one of the most lethal offenses in NFL history people people forget I mean that year mark buer that year that first year they won it Mark buer blew out his knee in preseason I've drafted him very high in fantasy that year I remember that buer yeah before he blew out his name yeah he was gonna have a huge year I was right and then CT warer comes in and the the sports bols have since like adjusted the Super Bowl odds because what were Ryan they were like 250 or no it was like crazy like 500 or th to one yeah it was I mean no one thought CTT War could come in and do what he did I also remember taking a lot of uh I may have been someone you could find and and make a a bet with in college down in blackburg and I introduced a lot of people to the two team teas most people taking the Rams in that dreaded Patriot Super Bowl so I wouldn't admit this uh publicly except for right here don't don't don't admit that publicly but yeah and then winning as mass uh uh the Patriots wait so the first year or no so sorry that was the year two where they came in as huge favorites and lost to the Patriots all right Daniel uh so walk us through what you have planed for the league and again Daniel's gonna be running the league we're frontting the money touchdowns huh I believe I have it set to 7.5 um oh so you're not getting screwed out of uh someone just rushing the ball every single time hurts oh wow right catching Strays already I'm I'm already personality well see will anyone who works for us be in this league I mean Cody I would imagine I I think so you think he's man enough to be in it I I I would imagine so and well too about Jake could Jake be in the league Jake could be in it yeah there's a lot of guys in our sphere Ryan that are in a lot of leagues that no decent payout and also too the tattoo punishment I think varies a lot depending on who you are as a person I have no tattoos so getting having to get a tattoo would be like I guess a big deal I don't know maybe I will one anti- tattoo but I don't have tattoo I'm not an art guy you know I've just never been motivated enough I think in 2022 I did throw out if the Eagles won the Super Bowl that year I was going to get a Eagles tattoo they of course lost to the Chiefs so I don't know if I'm motivated Maybe I will get a tattoo but there's some people who have a ton of tattoos them getting a like one more T tattoo I also don't wear makeup not really into flare I mean I I and it's I've uh I've heard maybe Steph SWS joins the league I see she's in chat maybe that's why she showed up heard about a tattoo league and wanted in all right Kramer what are we doing here tonight I got my Viking shirt on see this what is that oh the Winnipeg Blue oh my favorite my favorite team from OTA the Winnipeg Blue Bombers shout out to uh Vikings fan Kyle who's been informing me he's a Canadian uh been informing me of all the Canadian gold medals as uh they're up to three again I'm still on the under six and a half we'll see uh how that shakes out so Vikings coming off a seven and 10 2023 Minnesota Vikings Recap season they were 7 seven and three ATS 8 and5 was their win total last year we uh the the under came in we both had the over Ryan on them incorrect there but still our record overall has been pretty good on these win totals quarterback injury was related losing cousins they had a very weird year because in like some ways hey you know if you lose your starting quarterback and you lose Justin Jefferson you still manage a seven and 10 season it's pretty good but they they also did start out what I mean Kirk Cousins wasn't ligh in the world on fire when he started the season off he's the fix for the Atlanta Falcons of course he was lighting the world I I think in general there's something that that allows people to just be like yeah the Vikings are fine yeah I mean everything's fine yeah he was not but no one wants to say anything bad about Brian Flores obviously Kevin clearly Kevin oconnell is very good-look and people don't want to say negative things about him Sam darnold has great hair yeah Justin Jefferson's really cool they I mean I get it you know they were they were middling uh with cousins they were what four and four when he got knocked out uh he had some good games and then obviously some you know I mean they barely beat the Panthers uh barely beat the Bears on the road there hung around with the 49ers it was It was kind of an up and down uh run and then obviously the injuries kind of derailed the season although they got some you know the ponut I mean last it feels like years ago was the ponut uh they did get a lot out of a backup quarterback which is not sustainable good coaching uh Vikings were -12 in turnover differential that's always is a hey probably going to break a little bit right for them uh coming up here uh they did uh as far as luck Vikings saw opposing field goal kickers missed just one field goal all season in the second half of games and none in the fourth quarter so maybe they get a couple breaks there uh I think it is worth bringing up the additions losses because there's there's a number of them Offseason Roster Moves obviously drafting JJ McCarthy which we had that inside scoop that it was going to be the Vikings or the Giants it's probably the Vikings courtesy of uh JJ McCarthy's uh dad well the reason he was excited was was only that he could now drive to all the divisional games yeah he I think he's a Michigan guy he wants to have the cooler in the car you know he doesn't want have to fly well I mean it is nice if your son is playing pro pro ball and you want to go to Detroit Chicago um obviously the Minnesota games and then will he be playing that's a good question because uh right now it does seem like Sam Dar Sam darnold is the leader in the clubhouse they brought him in they brought in Aaron Jones Ryan who I know you're a fan of and Aaron Jones is he's super interesting because when he's out on the field he has electric high ceiling I we saw it in the playoffs you could say score four touchdowns and cash you a 45 to1 three touchdown bet his something like that I mean his G his game log and maybe I don't have enough of him in best ball because he certainly will give you those spike games but I think the again the Packers got rid of him for a reason they were fine with him going to a division rival for a reason but you look at the the last five games 127 120 111 118 108 rushing yards and that's with uh you know five rushing touchdowns a couple of uh receiving touchdowns in there as well so he's obviously uh GNA help them out Robert tunan sneaky uh pickup there I think a big loss though uh Danielle Hunter I mean that is huge losing uh losing uh Danielle Hunter I think or what how do you pronounce it Dan denal denal Hunter denil Hunter I mean it looks like Danielle but he probably would beat your ass if you call him Danielle denal Hunter Mr Hunter losing him huge uh losing Alexander Madison okay KJ Osborne like I and certainly Kurt Cousins while we like making fun of him he did have a floor I don't know what Sam darnold's floor is and JJ McCarthy is a rookie who by all accounts maybe needed some development maybe needed some time to grow I mean Sam darnold 21 and 35 straight up I I think people are getting a little ahead of themselves I saw oh but this is a better situation Sean well I mean cave ta wrote that this was the best situation he's ever been in the the 49ers situation was pretty good couldn't be out Brock py now Brock p had a a pretty good season but um yeah 21 and 35 straight up and I'll go back to the idea of this is the four team when have we seen a quarterback oh okay once he gets to the fourth team that's when it really clicks Kyle Shanahan the old fourth team Trend Kyle Shanahan let Sam darnold go for a reason right and maybe it's they didn't want to match him I get it uh maybe they didn't want to you know Pony up to pay a backup quarterback what Sam darnold was going to get in Minnesota okay but but they let him walk out the building that to me not the not the greatest sign I do think they're well coached I do think Brian Flores is a good defensive coordinator kind of gets the best out of some of those guys but again not having that pass rush stud I think will will impact their defense I mean in general he's going to attack so if it doesn't will the secondary hold up everyone just seems to assume the offense will be fine again you highight I saw I saw someone who was making an optimistic case for the Seahawks comparing him the Seahawks to the Viking no sorry optimistic case for the Vikings comparing them to the Seahawks when Gino Smith came I don't know I think that Gino Smith was I mean they certainly have some talented guys Justin Jefferson makes it easier true but we've seen Sam darnold look really bad we don't know what JJ McCarthy's going to be well and even even that Gino Smith year that Sheri came back he played out of his mind for that first stretch of 2022 and then he ended up kind of falling off on that back in and still only nine and eight so I I don't like to you in your mind what is the ceiling of this Minnesota Vikings team I mean I guess I I think the ceiling is high strangely because I I like I like Trent sherfield I like Aaron Jones I like Robert tanion I I liked what they already had yeah and they have done a lot with a little the problem is there's also it's like to me the Bears and the Vikings are a similar situation the Bears have a much better roster but the coaching for the Vikings is much better yeah and when I look at this division so part of the handicap is I do think that the ceiling for the Vikings is flirt with the playoffs and but the floor is is they don't have a quarterback yeah and it doesn't matter that they have all this Talent Sam darnold has shown us he doesn't know what to do with the talent and and you're talking to someone who had a nice Sam darnold comeback Player of the Year and MVP ticket last year so yeah I mean I I can I think like they're set up I understand the optimism but you know you two two major things is the pass rush going to be there like will Flores figure that out and will the quarterback we find so so once the once the ponut riddle was kind of figured out look at how they closed this season they lost to the Broncos they lost uh to the Bears at home they beat the Raiders uh 30-0 remember that game yeah beautiful the way football was meant to be played and then and then uh lost to Jake Browning Bengals lost uh to the lions at home lost to the Packers at home and then lost at lions in a game the L didn't need so closing out uh one and six uh sorry one and seven or no one and six those last seven games that is what that is what this Vikings team looks without a quarterback and I don't know if Sam darnold is necessarily better than what they had going at quarterback last year let's let's look at the Atlanta Falcons remember when Desmond R was there and they go oh he can't be worse than uh what we had of Marcus that's not that's not necessarily true there's there's a lot of Worlds where Sam darnold is actually worse than Josh dobs I don't think that's crazy and because have we seen what we saw to Josh dobs Ryan I'm getting fired up what we saw of Josh dobs that ceiling where they called him a ponut what's Sam darnold's nickname when he went on a heater oh that's right he never got a nickname because the guy's never been on a heater he's he's 21 and 35 he never even had a Jeremy Lynn type look at darnold Cook look at darnold go where is this darnold ceiling case where is it where it is wild and maybe JJ McCarthy is a dude who just wins games and is in the great situation they get Aaron Jones going with the play action I could see that world but man there there's a lot of ifs that to me is like a three4 team parlay just to get them up to eight and nine this team could really suck sorry Vikings Kyle I know this is tough to hear well I also think they're their their pricing in the point spread Market is not exactly in line with what the game to game stuff is and if if if the quarterback isn't just okay like everyone's expecting it like he it'll be fine they'll be fine no big deal you know maybe there's some defensive variant and uhoh uhoh but no I I think if the point spreads all take take a couple steps back you could be looking at a team that isn't favored in a single game so we're talking about a team with a 6 and a half win total that if you know we we I have discussed it at length but the fact that the they're laying points on the road at the Giants is highly highly Suspect with Sam darnold expected to start that game shout out to Ben Fox um friend of the program wrote up a cool article I think it was on CBS Sports where he pulled a bunch of odds makers and he got a whole list of all right this is what we think the starting quarterback makes a difference in the spread like hey Sam darnold and then if he's out if the backup is JJ McCarthy what is he worth to the point spread over his replacement if I'm making the numbers yeah I don't think you can have there be a maybe a half Point yeah 11 bookmakers and the average was 1.18 so he's worth one point to the spread that means he's not that good uh so yeah I mean and but but all of that being said I I think in the division I'm willing to say that they have the ceiling of being the second best team in the division okay but they also have the ability to be the the like the worst team in the league yeah because this is kind of colliding with your fade of the Packers handicap which I see you shaping into form here yeah uh it seems like we're both just wait till we get to the Bears it's a it's a complicated uh pick the NFC North is a a tricky one cuz in a weird way I'm I'm optimistic on this team relative to their number compared to the other teams that aren't named the lions in their division but I'm still not super high on them yeah it's interesting sephie Smalls uh in the chat saying they start slow and then go on a run when they get hackinson back I wouldn't be surprised and we'll walk through the schedule like I think if I guess if I think if you like this team there's no urgency to bet like the win total and some of their future stuff early cuz I think e with Sam darnold or with a rookie quarterback they're going to struggle but to to stephie's point them finding a Groove later on in the season and that defense with Flores I don't think is I don't think he crazy I'm just it's tough for me to get over Sam darnold we were doing the buy like the buy point the Buy Low Point like to me if you do believe in this team there's a point clearly in the middle of the season around week after they play the Rams where it's like okay this is going to be the bottoming out then they have some winnable games maybe that's when you you take a stab at a long like the the the make playoffs or the you know the we're in a time where you can bet the win total when when we we remember a time Sean where if you didn't bet the win total before the year you couldn't bet it yeah these kids these days with all their alternate markets imagine you just had one number you could bet that was it if you missed if you missed the start of the game you couldn't bet on the game now it's just like oh cool I'll take the live number units but obviously receiver tight end talk units they're going to be high because you got Justin Jefferson eighth offensive line 10th I don't really have anything to disagree uh front s 25th secondary nine but again I I do like Flores especially in that coordinator role which I think gives them you know gives yeah I still the ceiling isn't isn't massive to me and their win total sits at six and a half make playoffs plus 260 which that feels a little short for a team with six and a half wins so maybe they're factoring in some of this optimis well yeah the juice on the total adjust it basically to seven minus 160 on the over so I mean yeah you're you're seeing it's also been a popular bet I think I think it's easy to like I'm saying I think what would they say the range of outcomes are wide for the Vikings because I do think their positive range goes pretty high up to make playoffs and maybe challenge Detroit for the division probably unlikely there in my eyes but their floor is three or four wins uh Division 10 to1 Conference 35 to1 Super Bowl 80 to1 so I I yeah the conference no thanks Super Bowl no thanks I sold myself here's the crazy thing I I feel like Sam darnold is being given more juice this year in the Vikings situation versus the potential of him in San Francisco which is a much better well I think arguably a better structure for a quarterback so I I'm not interested in anything past make playoffs all right uh and even to your point the price is not very good anymore so clearly it's been bet I think yeah and I can see we'll walk through the schedule here I can see myself I'll Minnesota Vikings Schedule Breakdown probably get him to a seven and 10 um but I think there I think there is a low floor um and yeah I don't know we'll see I let's go through it because I think we'll also just tell everyone to put a set a reminder in their calendar for when we're actually going to bet the the make playoffs okay it'll be later in the season yeah you're right and look at all these spreads Ryan there are a ton of spreads that are three points or less especially in the back end the schedule yeah so I think I'm with you I think I think if you're going to bet the Vikings I don't know maybe you wait till uh no I'm telling you it we'll it'll be later in the SE we'll find it cuz they might start they might be a good bet for a last team to get a win opening the season against my Giants I see what you did there laying a point on the Road Again Sam darnold coming back to the scene of the crime I don't think so Niners then at home Texans at home uh interesting be some some high-powered matchups there maybe and then at Packers I will I will agree to a chop with the Bears and Packers I don't know if I can do that with the Lions so I I think I think what I've done here is they're going to lose their Road games and I I don't the ners and Texans defenses basically a similar look against Sam darnold or a rookie he practiced against this defense all last year does that matter I I don't know I 0 and four one and three is what is 0 and four aggressive well everyone you know there's some optimism in the chat but I'm looking at this schedule one and three feels about right and 0 and four is in the realm of possibility I mean the Giants don't play well at home so that could be uh that could be trouble but to your point Ryan do I like Sam darnold or JJ McCarthy making his first uh rookie start on the road no do I like the Giants no obviously not um but I'll go one and three feels right and I'm not even trying to be a hater I think I think if you said 0 and four you're not crazy I mean they're dogs of uh three and a half or more in three of the games all right so I one and three one and three one and three so they beat the could be ow I don't know who they Owen for I don't know who they won okay I don't know where they they get a win I don't see any wins on that that schedule week week five they head out to across the pond to to face the Jets in London then they take their buy after the which I am now officially a fan of taking the buy after the international trip all the time uh which is why it's very tough that the Eagles have to do that week one uh especially when the the water quality all right then coming off the B do have a long break uh till their next game Lions uh at home at Rams on Thursday Night Football and then the Colts at home so there are some winnable games in here I I kind of I mean what's what's the Ryan let's try and predict what is the Jets Aaron roders International story there's G to be some there's G to be and chat feel free to chime in there's going to be a news story about Aaron roders uh goes to big Ben to investigate conspiracy theories about what's what's buried below Big Colts team I don't know if fellow Dome teams lions and Rams and then Jets overseas I mean that Jets defensive that Jets defense against uh this this yeah I mean s Gardner against JJ uh I think is going to be a good matchup I don't think he lights them up the Lions maybe he gets the better of them on the back end I'm just like in what game if you're trying so hard to say nice things no well I'm I'm I'm trying to you know I'm I'm I realized I was coming in here pretty cynical and I'm trying to you know see both sides of this but I mean how can you talk yourself into two and two Kramer in these in these four games is there any chance we would play them in Survivor no so then how can we give them two wins one and three one and three so I got him two and six but oh [ __ ] never mind I was going to say this is when you might want to play them uh on the uh on the Futures Market but then they got they got three Road games in a row you never win that third Road game it's impossible so that's a guaranteed loss all right walk through the schedule if you're optimistic about them I think this is you buy them right before that Colts game right I don't know or do you or do you let them they have three Road games then don't you let them bottom out after that they might be out of the playoffs by then Justin Jefferson May me pissed off I don't know uh I'm I'm starting to think my floor outcomes come come this is is going to be how am I going to deal with this division all right at at Jags at Titans at Bears Cardinals at home three straight road games oh Sean this is rough okay they can beat the Jags yeah and they can beat the Cardinal at home H I'm having but Cardinal could I mean that's a tossup game three one and three all right you're going one and three I got him at you have him uh two and 10 I'm I'm going to say two and two just so I give them a fighting chance here but um yeah that third Road game at the Bears I have it as a loss I love the Titans hash titanup although DeAndre Hopkins is banged up strain knee he'll be fine and then at Jaguars I think they could win and Cardinals at home man yeah all right I'll go two and two just because I don't want to be completely out on this team because I do think they are well coached I think that's that's where it's tough to completely fade them but this well- coached team did finish the season one and six now you know a lot of that was probably Justin Jefferson being hurt and no starting quarterback but again they're starting quarterback I don't know if it is better of what they were trying out there was some how many wins do I have so far uh you have Ryan let's see you have officially two wins you have them two and 10 all right that's Pro probably a little aggressive all right are you final five games Falcons at home bears at home on Monday night at Seahawks Packers at home at Lions okay so four and one wow wow out of nowhere off the top I don't think they can beat the Lions but maybe the Lions don't need the game actually let's go five and0 five and0 I'll split the division down the so you have them closing out five and0 getting on a heater yeah that's going to keep uh everyone's job so Falcons screw up their quarterback I mean they have winnable home games against the Falcons I like that against the Bears I like them at home at Seahawks I'm below Market on Seahawks and if they split with the Packers I think that's fair and then at Lions maybe the Lions don't need it I'll go three and two I'll go three and two I think them closing the season it makes a ton of sense but to your point Kramer and maybe if you think they can beat the Jaguars which it seems like we think maybe you look to bet them after week nine but just that those first five games uh and then even lions and then at Rams I think maybe you know what maybe where you bet them if you're if you're high on them bet them after the uh Rams game Thursday night because I think the long rest the more I think about long rest against the Colts even though they do have those three Road games I think at least against the Jags and Colts they'll they'll have a shot there so them closing it out at 7 and 10 I yeah I'll take the over six and a half wins but this is not going to be when we do our best uh bet win totals I I would be shocked if this is in there and Ryan you officially have them uh over six and and it does seem like if JJ McCarthy's going to be good it's not going to be right away which means we're going to see Sam darnold and I you know what if Sam darnold is good this year I will be a little bit pissed because I was invested last year but I look he's it is what it is we we understand what Sam darnold is and just like some of the other teams where the quarterback potentially a problem this is a very good situation yeah and a lot of things it is the the chat I'm realizing is split but it's because uh e is in there he's a lions fan Anan who's a Bears fan so there's some NFC North bias creepy into the chat and it's it's they're a tough team right which no one wants to hear when handicapping these things but I think it's true because they do have top tier Talent at a couple positions Allah the uh Justin Jefferson they do have good coordinators they are will Coach but you can't have that ceiling without that quarterback and I think it's easy to remember what the offense looked like with Kirk Cousins Kirk Cousins is you know a solid gatekeeper quarterback now the fact that he vaulted a team into be a Super Bowl Contender feels crazy but he certainly makes you a playoff Contender and I don't know if Sam darnold has ever been labeled playoff Contender the I the idea that they were like hey they were competitive in games with these trash quarterbacks I think is somewhat correct but they were still also one and six straight up I was there I remember it who would you rather have will Levis or Sam darnold me 100% will Levis I love that guy I mean look at what he's look at what he's look at the work he's putting in on the uh offseason how many quarterbacks would you take Sam darnold over so again I'm not I'm not you know throwing out I'm not mentioning Daniel Jones to to try and fire you up Ryan but I think with oh that's that's a bad take no no no I'm saying with a sample size of 56 starts we know who Sam darnold is and Sam darnold Allah Sam Bradford not a franchise quarterback so when when you get over 50 games I think you are kind of who you are as a quarterback where are these these people like where was the ceiling for Sam darnold where it was like man that was a great Sam darnold window it was last year just went out the window what do you mean no I mean like I had the I was betting on the ceiling last year yeah I think and maybe there's some of that creeping in here so you're not interested in the Sam darnold MVP price no I'm not and okay all right I guess he did finish 4-2 at the Panthers uh in 2022 but I I W I watched that he had eight games or sorry six games he threw seven touchdowns that's not you know yards that's not Elite quarterback play I I'm sorry and not even Elite but like he didn't he's never had a nickname that's all you need to know about Sam darnold Sammy D Samy D slinging Sammy D so eight nine between two seasons at the Carolina Panthers was his best run as a quarterback all right so what uh do you have any sort of action so okay uh I guess as much as I should on him over I guess seven and 10 but I don't even know how much I love the over six and a half I won't be just Jefferson is 15 to1 to win offensive player of the year that's crazy I mean I who's going to hate on Justin Jefferson I don't like that uh I think I'm going to betting like Robert tunan first touchdown like that's the kind of stuff that's interesting to me oh boy I also think basball stuff Tai Chandler I'm really interested in and maybe I should have a little bit more Aaron Jones because you know whatever if he does say healthy certainly has that ceiling most rushing touchdowns okay what are we looking at here Aaron Jones 70 to one put me down okay that's how I say something nice about the Vikings I love Aaron Jones he's cashed me three touchdown bets before back when they priced him 45 to one Sean and it's a better way to play his ceiling in my opinion because he has those spike games yeah you know what I'm gonna I'll coign that because to your point I don't think he's going to going to have enough well so yeah whatever the injury stuff he'll probably end up getting injured but if he doesn't if he doesn't Aaron Jones having a Jamal Williams type season where he leads the league in rushing touchdowns that to me at 70 to1 is a pretty good price so all right I'm with you there you can talk me uh you can talk me into that uh him to have the most rushing and receiving yards is 40 to one touchdowns is better I think don't like that uh what about did we talk uh another angle uh I I I these I brought these more as an offering so not very positive but the Vikings to lead the league in sacks are you interested in that 60 to one Brian Flores loves to attack have have they ever been close I I think this is more of do you think like to me you have to think they're going to be leading in games you you uh so I I'm not really interested in this I've seen some people kick this around over on the internet though Ryan can you pull up the latest odds of of uh who is going to be the starting quarterback week one oh because I I'd like to look at that market and I think that could impact um some of these other plays that I got but I just want to confirm where we're at I I forgot to check it before we went and I'm not remembering oh they hide it so good all right yeah we got Sam darnold is now minus 600 okay JJ McCarthy plus 400 so rarely do I can you play the breaking news yeah B Knicks is is down to minus 200 Jared stum plus 190 uhoh I did call for Jared SDM a couple months back wasn't sure B knck would be a lot I still like b knck a lot but and hey if he looks like dog [ __ ] in the preseason yeah it's not a lock I we we kept saying you shouldn't be laying money on any of these starting quarterbacks take some small sprinkles on the dogs because that's where the value is now maybe I don't know the camp reports haven't been great on JJ McCarthy would I be shocked it's early he's a rookie plus 400 I don't know if I'm going to give that out here I feel like we already kind of hit on that market but what it's getting me to discuss is Ryan this is crazy and the people at Underdog fantasy God bless them what they do love the product they're asleep at the wheel yeah cuz they're listing a JJ McCarthy passing touchdowns uh fantasy projection what do you think that number is uh I how do I play this game if I already know it it's uh 24 16 16 you already know it but it's 18 and a half which if you recall that was the same number as Daniel Jones who is 100% starting week one no his was 16 and a half okay all right uh so JJ McCarthy a rookie quarterback even if it was a a full season rookie quarterback I like a look uh 18 and a half 18 and a half is Bonkers that's insane if we believe that Sam darnold is truly a minus 600 to start at this point I do think he should be the favorite maybe not quite that big of a favorite but 18 and a half now maybe this doesn't cash because he doesn't get in but still lower 18 and a half I honestly I don't like right now if I had to guess I don't think he comes in before the buy and then he's really up against it I didn't quite understand this when when I was diving into the underdog numbers because it's a your point the projection doesn't make sense like the projection makes sense if he's playing I almost the projection is basically saying he's going to step in and immediately be like slinging the ball all over the place which how can you say that so yeah I'm I I I completely agree with you I and honestly I don't think you can really the other the other numbers they're down dangling on the other players I'm not really interested on yeah Aaron Jones touchdowns at 5 and a half okay you can talk me into that but I'd rather play The Long Shot stuff for him to lead whatever I mean even even to bring back up the division stuff you know I love the lead division prices his touch for him to lead the division in touchdowns now granted you do have Josh Jacobs and DeAndre Swift and Gibbs and Montgomery ahead of him but he is plus 550 he's the fifth long shot to lead the North in rushing touchdowns I'm sorry that was yards hold on okay but Ryan how many times has Sam darnold gone over 18 and a half passing touchdowns in his career 15 and a half once no sorry 18 he's gone over once he had 19 one year so yeah I don't know I I think the negative thing is do you is there any chance we're playing an inter most interceptions no because I don't see I think both like I think this is going to be a true split and I wouldn't be surprised if they struggle early and we highlighted how tough that schedule is if they put in um JJ McCarthy so I don't think I don't think either quarterback's going to have a full season so I like any sort of unders lowers uh that you can get on either quarterback I think is feels pretty good but JJ McCarthy lower passing touchdowns on Underdog at 18 and a half that's one of my favorite Underdog season long plays to your point it's like leaving Curtis Samuel on the commanders it's clear and obvious I think they missed it now we we keep talking about what is the floor for this Vikings team I looked at the fewest wins Market it's 10 to one the honesty they're shortest odds than the last winless team they're shorter odds than the Giants who their favorite over week one so go figure that map out I don't get that I think people are betting on them maybe to start slow so to your point the the value isn't there yeah and I don't like uh win this team because they have a game against the Giants where the spread is one point and I don't like Fest wins because we're only getting them 10 to one if it was like 15 to one 20 to one maybe that's interesting Ryan what do you any of the division leader stuff I know you mentioned the um Aaron Jones type stuff what any of the other U division leader markets you find interesting I don't yeah I mean to your point I don't think you can play the passing markets CU it does seem like there's going to be a quarterback swap at some point and Justin Jefferson is priced as if he has a great quarterback so it's like I I don't really know what to do with this to your point you know certainly going to be a fun team for first touchdown yeah since they have some nice big names and I honestly I I think I'll end up uh I I do think that you can I'm just gonna play Aaron Jones and all the positive stuff I'll take like a half a unit I'll take a little of that uh division rushing yards give me the overall rushing touchdowns well Ryan week one I know and uh I'm already playing around with some DK Millie maker lineups I am going to be playing whoever the Vikings end up going with at tight end whether it's Josh Oliver I mean remember Johnny Mt Ryan Robert Tan's on the team one of those guys and even whoever the second tight end is I think will be interesting for first touchdown stuff uh the starting tight end I think it's going to be interesting for DFS fantasies especially cu the Giants historically have struggled against the tight end but um oh not any not different different situation so Ryan you said uh officially I only have you down for under six and a half wins and most rushing touchdowns Aaron Jones most rushing yards Aaron Jones in the division plus 550 okay yeah I I don't I mean to me to me I'm not touching that cuz at 550 it's not intriguing enough I I mean I like the I like the total long shot of the touchdowns playing his ceiling there but other than that and I gotta be honest I I was I was digging around we haven't uh talked much about the first five game markets that they put out now but basically for every team they have win totals and exact number of wins for the first five games and we looked at this Vikings schedule and we we said that's a very tough start to the schedule basically what I'm seeing is is because very easy to see a path where they lose to the Niners Texans Packers and Packers on the road and jets in London basically you're converting a GI G you're picking the Giants instead of at plus 110 or whatever you're getting on the money line right now zero wins for the Vikings over those first five games Sean plus 550 so I what the way I'm hearing that is I'm now getting a Giants money line for plus 550 because if the Giants beat him week one we're cashing this ticket all right that's put down for that too Vikings zero wins in the first four zero wins in first four is plus plus 550 now do you think if they get that they're going to be the last winless team that's interesting because I was trying to think 10 to one yeah I don't H I don't know I mean again is that a ladder do I have to ladder that get the get the uh get the safety inspector out get a call oia you know what put me down for that then last win this team 10 to one all right here we are I'm getting negative again yeah I mean I know you're very strong on that week and not sucking it's a it's a double whammy for him he has injury issues and he has sucking issues yeah JJ McCarthy 250 to one to win the MVP that's an impressive you if you're a Vikings fan you can bet both quarterbacks on your team at 200 to one or longer to win the MVP they say if you have two quarterbacks you don't have a quarterback Sean uh also I do think we should discuss coach of the year to me really well I think we should discuss it uh you know I don't think it's Kevin oconnell in the mix because at seven and 10 he kind of they would have to be the number one seed I think for him to get because they because they won seven games now maybe you get some credit no no Sam darnold's your quarterback and you make the playoffs the coach is getting a lot of credit I don't know like I think if you're I think he'll get credit I think you would have to win 11 games he's very good-looking we saw him at the win you could see why people would vote for him that was a that was a funny scene running running into NFL coaches at a casino is always a funny only who is he with uh an attractive lady yeah oh and some quarter yeah one of the col mcoy col McCoy that's what I was looking for yeah him Colt McCoy col McCoy's lady seemed like they were they I think they were doing a episode of the underdog show oh yeah shout out to Underdog so I I think for him to win coach of the year I think you got to win 11 games games yeah I don't love the price I mean he's in the what's his price 20 to1 he's in the same range as um I mean Brian Callahan for one who we like more uh Antonio Pierce is down to 20 to1 in some places actually I mean McDonald I I guess the the one the coaches around him have more opportunity to improve but we he would because he's a quarterback Whisperer he would get credit if this team's successful because a it's weird though cuz people expect the quarterback to be good because of him but if they are good he'll then get credit for them being good because of him and it probably helps him in that market I do think he's also a guy that look they want to say nice things about him clearly I've not heard any negative takes on the Vikings this entire preseason so whatever that ha however that help he's never won it he's never won it which I think is a is a check in his Direction well yeah I mean he's got to make the playoffs that's the table stakes and if they make the playoffs he has to hope that's as good as any other of these like T Titans can't win the division you can't have anything with Harbaugh sniffing a playoff birth you you you probably have can't even you know I I think it's fair to think that you know the Falcons have to suck the Cardinals have to suck the Colts probably have to be bad again I think Matt Eber FLW even though I don't think he should get votes he'll get votes if Caleb Williams looks really good there's just a lot of bullets what is McCarthy Rookie of the Year Ah that's I mean that's let's see here 20 to one yeah no preview what is your uh what is your Underdog play Ryan oh no I'm with you that that's why I hear the number okay he I don't know why I mean I could go higher on on Aaron Jones but the I'm with you like assuming he just needs to play for this to count yeah I mean I don't know why they would offer something if he doesn't play the first snap of the Season or the first game it wouldn't count um double check the house rules if you're going huge but um yeah but I don't know how you lose it's like it's a push or a win it's one of these weird spots you can put yourself in where and and look at look at uh look at darnold he's never played 16 17 games so there's a great chance JJ mcarthy will get at least a couple snabs he's playing and he's not getting that many touchdowns that to me is how many games how many games does he have to play to get that many touchdowns I think even if he played the whole season I would still look to the lower what do you think they're projecting that do you think that's against 11 games that would be an aggressive 11 game projection you know what it's probably what happens is they look at the Vikings passing touchdowns and they say oh okay they had 30 passing touchdowns last year all right well what is 11 you know what is that your point they probably have him projected at 12 games and then some I I imagine they're looking at their 30 passing touchdowns last year and using that as their number which I would not do because again I think Aaron Jones is going to steal a lot of the passing touchdowns I think there's yeah there's how many games
