with Justin steel going down with an injury the Chicago Cubs are going to have to rely on Kyle Hendricks to get a win tonight uh if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive they can't win lose too know that what he's capable of we've seen him do it for years but this year has just been one to forget but if he wants us to forget how bad he's been this season he's going to have to go out there tonight and pitch a gemm especially with the Pittsburgh Pirates sending out uh Paul scheme Allstar rookie Cubs are going to have to get some hits the offense is going to have to show up obviously but you know they've been doing it last night they only scored three runs but they've been doing it they've been putting up 8 9 10 11 12 runs for the last few couple of like maybe what the last week or so last week and a half if they do that tonight then Kyle Hendrick shouldn't have too much to worry about but at the end of the day they're going against a really really good pitchure and he has to be really really good too on the other side and I hate to say it but I believe in you dude like I'm I'm listen just one game it's just one game put the rest of the season behind you and give us everything that you got tonight everything that you got one game bro one game you smart you went to to Dartmouth I know that you can can can figure it out I know that you can figure it out bro um I know that you want to you want to be part of this team uh you said recently I just want to pull up the uh the quote real quick he said he's just grateful that he still has a job here I'm not grateful that you still have a job here I'm I'm one of the people that feel like you should have been gone um the CU could have called up somebody in fact one of the people that I wanted through the call up is uh what's his name uh Brandon birdale he's been really really good on the Cubs uh minor league team 20 20 um 23 games this season seven and eight uh record uh 3.61 ER but he can strike batters out like he strikes them out at maybe five or six a game he has 113 strikeouts on the season uh obviously in the minors but still and my man struck out six in his last game and nine in the game before that he does have some control command issues but it got to be better than Kyle Hendricks but tonight I'm betting on you bro the Cubs are betting on you so you need to bet on yourself that's it putting out some positive energy for you tonight because we need a win the margin for era is paper thin losing games is not going to cut it right now the Cubs are sitting at three and a half games out of of uh the last wild card spot thank God the Arizona Diamondbacks are losing some games uh the Atlanta Braves are losing some games but we can't expect them to keep doing those keep losing what we do need is for the Cubs to keep winning they lost their losing their win streak last night in terrible fashion the bull pin just came in and imploded um what's his name herge came in last night and just just uh suck the suck suck the the the the the the wind out of the be uh the Cubs uh sales uh in Wrigley Field uh Jameson tyion had a great game seven in his pitch three hits one walk Three strikeouts no runs giv up but Jorge Lopez came in and gave up some big home runs and that led to the Cubs losing they can't win them all while we want them to win them all it would be great if they could win them all especially now that we're so close to being in that final wild card spot the Cubs could be two and a half games out but they're three and a half games out it's still still very doable but it all rests on the shoulders of K Hendricks tonight the offense can do their part two but they depend you know ski is good hopefully the offense can put up you know five or more runs and get and give um c hendri a little bit of breathing room you know have him not get so nervous but man the last time he pitched against uh the the Pirates the Cubs had to have a Herculean effort and come back and win that game and it was great shout out to B and Court by the way that was that was one of the best games of the season but can't have that happen again can't have you getting knocked out of the game in the second or third inning not tonight bro reach Back To Your Glory Days think think think of the good times stay focused Get Zen figure it out because right now the the the cow Hendricks that we've gotten this season cannot show up tonight you are lucky to still have a job here period whatever it is Jed Hoyer and Craig Council they they put their trust in you they keep doing it they refuse to call people up to replace you Justin steel went down I just said yesterday that I'm happy that we don't have to see Cy Hendricks pitch again because Jordan Wicks is back and then another guy gets injured another rotation guy gets injured and now we have to rely on you again buddy what are you going to do what are you going to do Kyle are you going to go out there and suck or are you going to bring us to the the victory that we need and hopefully this will be the last time that you have to pitch I don't think Justin ste's injury is is too bad right now but come on man what are you going to do bro cuz we need you let me see what Justin Steel's injury situation is real quick cuz we need him too it's been a rough year for him as well he got elbow sorness and apparently you need your elbow to be a good pitcher man it would be nice to see bur sell come up and get a chance but it's you tonight Cal Hendrick show us what you got y'all already know what it is man I don't have too much to say about this we all know what the Cubs need to do they got to get wins and get wins and bunches they cannot afford to go in any type of losing streak they got to win every series for the
