IT WAS SO HOT AND WE'RE JUST BURNING UP. SO WE LOOK FOR WATER FOR LIKE. >> A GOOD 20 MINUTES. AND THEN FINALLY FOUND LIKE A CONCESSION STAND. THAT WAS GOOD. BUT EVERYWHERE WAS SOLD OUT SOME FANS TO PEOPLE BEING TAKEN OUT OF THE GAME ON STRETCHERS. >> HONOLULU, EMS IS IT TOOK A 49 YEAR-OLD MAN TO THE HOSPITAL IN SERIOUS CONDITION AFTER HE FAINTED AT THE GAME. PARAMEDICS SAY PEOPLE WERE TRYING TO COOL HIM OFF WHEN THEY ARRIVED. VISITORS AND RESIDENTS TRYING TO KEEP COOL AS HUMIDITY SORES DUE TO TROPICAL CYCLONE GILMA DISSIPATING NORTH OF THE STATES. >> AND THAT BROUGHT A LOT OF HUMID AND MOIST AIR. SO. YOU KNOW, THE HEAT INDEX IS REALLY HIGH. IT'S IN LOW 90'S. THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAYS THIS ISN'T TYPICAL HAWAII HEAT AND THE HUMIDITY IS SO HIGH. >> THAT IT'S JUST LIKE BEING IN MIAMI THIS TIME OF YEAR. >> JUST VERY UNUSUAL FOR US. USUALLY HAVE, YOU KNOW, HIGH PRESSURE TO OUR NORTH AND EVEN OUR WATERS ARE, YOU KNOW, AS WARM AS THE GULF. SO TO GET REALLY THOSE WARM. DEW POINT TEMPERATURES, HE SAYS IT TAKES A TROPICAL SYSTEM TO CREATE THESE CONDITIONS. >> BUT WASN'T THE ONLY SYSTEM NEARBY. WE'RE ACTUALLY GOING TO GET THE REMNANT MOISTURE OF HECTOR THAT'S MOVING IN TONIGHT. SO THAT'S GOING TO KEEP THE DEW POINTS HIGH. SO IT'S GOING TO STILL FEEL MUGGY THROUGH SUNDAY. >> WHILE HUMIDITY CAN KEEP YOUR SKIN HYDRATED IT CAN CAUSE EXCESSIVE SWEATING, WHICH CAN LEAD TO DEHYDRATION. SOMETHING DOCTORS ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND. >> IT'S REALLY, YOU KNOW, HUMID AND YOU KNOW, PEOPLE TEND TO LOSE A LOT OF HUMILITY, NOT AS WE'VE THAT'S WE ALL KNOW THAT RATE.
