Vince I think we've come to that time are you ready for Rapid Fire I'm always ready for Rapid Fire okay also go ahead I was gonna say I gotta give a shout out to Larry at Costco he loves rapid fire Okay saw m Costco the other day he was way too excited to see me and uh my daughters were totally making fun of me uh after we were done at Costco but he was so excited he's like having Costco employees come up and ask us what rapid fire was going to be about on the next day and all this other stuff so shout out to Larry at Costco does Larry work at Costco he does okay Larry works at Costco loves Notre Dame anytime anybody associated with Notre Dame comes in he gets a selfie with them you know so he was showing me the album with all the Notre Dame people and everything so it's pretty wow is he like a front door check your ID kind of guy or where is he he was in the back where I had to get the salt for the softener like that's where I saw him then he kind of followed us up to the front so gotcha I only I was I was at Costco last week but I only typically get there like once every two months or so I'm very infrequent I'm the salt guy that's pretty much what I get sent to uh Costco for to get the big bags of salt so gotcha but anyway I almost forgot almost forgot my daughter before I came down she's like don't forget to say hi to Larry I was like all right I'll remember glad you brought it up glad you brought it up okay so you got called out for your Steve Van jelly take last week yes I did this is a laate ad to the rundown here yeah it is I didn't know we were going this this you called him a Mac level starting quarterback and you got called out on the boards for it today here's a quote Vince you're gonna be eating your words when not only is he the clear-cut qb2 but will push lyard and will likely start a game or two and look great in those spot starts end quote so you guys went back and forth a little bit and there was a uh you know the guy brought up Freeman you know saying there was you know uh Leonard Ang jelli battle for number one and you know this is this is what happens because now we're gonna have to deal with this all spring when when you know when the head coach comes out and says there's there's a battle for it because people take that stuff for gospel you know they're just some things that I think that a head coach has to say in a press conference I believe this is one of them but do you want to expand upon your your counter to uh to this uh counter you argument you know I hey I I respect the argument because and mainly because fans only get an opportunity to see what happens in games right and and I I get it I totally get it and any time that steveen jelli has been in the game and it doesn't matter what the circumstances are he's played very well okay okay I I that is a it's like in court when you just everybody understands that this is a fact yes I understand that steveen jelli played well every time he was in the game no doubt about it even though most of its mop-up Duty and and a blll game against a patchwor of opposition I mean it is what it is he played well so I I will to me that bowl game was probably a level and a half above the you know like a blue gold game you know was an actual team out there that you were facing rather than an inner Squad scrimmage see and here's the deal when the four quarterbacks that are currently on the roster were playing seven on or 11 on 11 even without bads on right all four of those quarterbacks were going up against a way better defense than anybody saw in the bowl game agree or disagree agree okay I can only go by what my own eyes say and I realize not everybody gets an opportunity to watch watch these guys in practice and we have never seen Kenny mchi in in competitive game reps and we have never seen CJ Carr in competitive game reps I get it but just even watching these guys throw the ball back and forth to each other let alone going up against defenses and other things one of these things is not like the other and that's just what it is to me right and I'm so I was actually told I was being disrespectful uh to Steve when I said that I would be ecstatic if he was my Matt quarterback or like at Purdue or Northwestern or you know what of those that's I still think you know like I think I said that on Friday like you guys were saying ma level I I feel like he could start at a yeah you know like mid- tier Big 10 ACC type school you know I think he is he is capable of that but what did we say is your goal winning a national championship if the answer is yes I just don't think that the that you know that that that's going to be Steve and jelly I don't think that he's part of that equation and I agree with you could he win he can help your program better but I don't think he's that guy that's that's gonna you know help you win a National Championship 100% I and look maybe it plays out differently but what I've seen so far in practice there is a there is a talent discrepancy okay and I just like the other guys better that's my opinion that's where I stand maybe he ends up being qb2 by the end of it maybe he does because of his experience and all of the different intangibles and and all of that if Riley Leonard goes down let's see who they actually turn to the guy that's on paper as the number two or a different guy DK wants to know why I hate angelly I don't hate Ang jelly what I hate is all these people sing for for angelli you know that's that's right come on man it's like be realistic and I'm good with the debate I honestly I'm not even mad I can't remember who the poster was I'm not even mad about the post and calling me out and what that's cool man that like that's what this is all about it's a healthy debate coaches can debate about who's better about you know whatever until the cows come home man and that's cool that's what it's these shows are these shows are about opinions and there's never going to be an opinion that's going to get a consensus and the thing about opinions too is sometimes they're wrong that's that's the difference between fact and opinion right it's like facts are supposed to be facts opinions there's a lot of subjectivity mixed in there correct I yep could not agree more I I believe in the show this afternoon I kind of flipped it on towards the end of the day and somebody asked the difference between like Ian book and steveen jelly and who would you take in 2018 or something along those lines and so they were kind of debating that back and forth and look I don't think anybody is going to debate the fact that Ian book was not a championship level quarterback either right and so that's the problem that Notre Dame football has had they have yet to have a championship level quarterback at the helm Sam Hartman wasn't that guy either it turned out is Riley Leonard that guy I don't know we shall see we shall speaking of Notre Dame quarterbacks thanks for bringing that up by the way hey no problem I I knew you'd love it I'm just kidding it's great you know me anytime I can find some good fod for for the you know because like I felt like I was struggling to find good rapid fire topics today anyway and then a couple kind of fell into my especially when I saw that one on the board it's like all right this is this is gold Jerry it's pure gold you're right though that's why I had to respond to it I mean he called me out like specifically I don't usually respond to stuff I I'm told I should more but I was like dude he's called me out I got to at least respond you know but always keeping it respectful like I'm good with the respectful debate man like I am let's put it this way I am very happy that we can even have this debate because we're talking about good quarterback play and and who should be number two as as a good quarterback like again Notre Dame hasn't had this opportunity in a long time so I'm cool with having that debate all day long and because this roster I think is a is an elite roster in a lot of spots yes Phil in the blank former Notre Dame quarterback Drew Pine committing to Missouri is blank Drew Pine everything I think is the evangeli I think it's Drew Pine to be honest with you uh well like Drew Pine is kind of like well if Drew Pine can do this then Steve Angel like if you want to like connect the cats and that kind of thing that's like gives people fuel for the fire when they're when they're making the Angeli argument and and and then I think to myself does it because he went to Arizona State and got benched and now he's G he did get hurt in fairness to him he got hurt when he was at Arizona State now he's gonna go to Missouri and he's basically going to be the number two quarterback but he's One play away yeah um I think the most the thing I was most shocked about when I saw this is that he still has three years of Eligibility left I know that blows my mind because I'm pretty sure he enrolled in 2021 yeah this guy's been around for a while now man he's got his degree and he still has three years of Eligibility left finishing his degree at Notre Dame right now and he's going to join Missouri this summer crazy absolutely crazy because now he'll have gone from Notre Dame to Arizona State in the Pack 12 and now he's going to Missouri the SEC I mean he's like a he's got he's like a cat he's got nine lives it's impressive he's a vagabond R do you see guys go and stay kind of at that upper tier level when they're transferring usually you kind of and I and Arizona state was obviously a dip down from Notre Dame but then he kind of went right back up right into the SEC which I mean but they had that they had that big time quarterback recruit out there this year that was the freshman and and all that kind of stuff and he was kind of a placeholder I think anyway you know with with Dillingham and all that kind of thing I'll be curious to see if it works out with drink wits or I mean the fact that he has three years probably helps him it you it's like it he just he when he announced that he was committing to Missouri he kind of reminded me like a little bit of Chase Daniel who like career NFL backup who was about the same size you maybe a little thicker than Drew Pine but not much but you know like kind of had the same you know kind of deal and Chase Daniel had a lot of success at Missouri I I don't know I'm I'm a little uh I'm a little dubious as to whether or not U Mr Pine is going to stick at Missouri for all three years I think that there might be a fourth School in his future here nuts so he could have two master's degrees by the time this is all said and done that's right easily that's right he he I looked it up he's 23 years old he turns 24 in December so realistically he could be playing major college football ball at the age of 25 and a bowl game at 26 yeah let me let me let me back off the I'm not talking about the skill set I'm just talking about sort of the size of the guy and the fact that they were both at Missouri yeah I'm not talking about I'm not talking about skill set now Chase Daniel was in especially for the time because this has been like around what 2007 2008 you know 2006 I think that chase Daniel was there at Missouri so it was a little bit you know like little more of uh you know of a gimmick offense at that point in terms of like they were running pure spread stuff and you know all the you know just the the things that they were doing some things you know that have become a little bit more common place I guess in college football there there's just been a lot of morphing of the college game I think since uh since Chase Daniel was there that that was back when uh when my guy Todd reesing was at uh University of Kansas as well and and Daniel and Reese were going head to-head but they're about the same that's like they're not much they're they're all around the same size as Drew Pine and that's what I was talking about just like the uh the stature of the guys but those two guys both came from Texas you know like smaller under recruited guys out of Texas and they were both playing in the Big 12 at that time and you know again they had a lot of success all um you know it's it's a it's a lot of years later I don't know that Drew Pine's goingon to have this same kind of success hey as Daniel Chase Daniel will always be my hero because he made just shy of $42 million as a backup quarterback yeah he made 8.3 million per NFL start yep okay like he was in the NFL for 14 years Sean 14 years and every this is my favorite one $224,000 $224,000 that's six figures $224,000 per completion that I mean that's great work if you can get it man like I have so much through nine career touchdown passes yes and that's the kind of money that he made and it came down to the fact that he got a couple opportunities like when guys got hurt to get in there play a little bit and it earned him the right to stick around he made the most of the opportunities he made $4 half million dollar per touchdown pass okay yep that's I'm it's like dude congratulations I mean congratulations fill in the blank Marcus Burton being named ACC men's basketball rookie of the year is blank it's welld deserved I mean where would this team be without Marcus Burton I mean it he was that team was the Catalyst on that team and he begrudgingly brought the rest of the guys with him offensively into the rest of the season you know what I mean like they finally started kind of playing not up to his level but you know what I mean they actually started making some baskets and doing some different things and um it's a well-deserved honor for this kid he has majorly over achieved in year one I I mean like I said I've watched every game of his pen year and his senior year and he was amazing but it was like dude you're G to have to sit for a year get bigger stronger kind of figure it out sit behind somebody and then they made the coaching change and it's like you're the only guy left in the recruiting class you gotta play and yes he had his freshman mistakes and turns the ball over a little bit too much but he impress the crap out of me and it's not a pen bias but it is he's fun kid to watch man he's so fast off the dribble can make plays I mean it's going to be fun to watch him over the next few years for sure no I know and like think back to just um around a year ago at this point yeah where you know like a year ago Mike Bray was about to coach his last game for Notre Dame and that was it and after Mike Bray rode off into the sunset left Notre Dame Marcus Burton was the only fresh in the incoming recruiting class we've kind of talked about that you know he was kind of overlooked to an extent I mean know give michah Shrewsberry all the credit for going out and getting the kind of commits that he did between the transfer portal what he was able to get there and just some incoming freshman as well I mean he put together what turned out to be a pretty solid class for you know having to do it on short notice but part of that class was also Marcus Burton who you know again didn't get talked about nearly as much just the because of the fact that he had been committed so long and he stayed committed to Notre Dame and it's pretty amazing to think about that that now here he is sitting here A year later and he's the Rookie of the Year in the ACC and he's the it's the first time the men's program has ever had an ACC rookie of the year they had a couple Big East rookies of the year with Troy Murphy and Chris Thomas but that's Chris Thomas was 22 years ago that's mindblowing all by itself by the way that makes me feel really old uh but yeah I mean look he the the little package that they put together when they put out the fact that he was the the Rookie of the Year and they kind of had the the overlay of our boy Tom noi asking the question but then Michel Shrewsberry answering it and I think he was being a bit factious at the time but he's not wrong he's like Marcus Burton be you Circle his name on The Scouting Report from day one he's not wrong if you're talk if you're scouting Notre Dame you got to figure out a way to stop Marcus Burton and I thought there for a while teams had kind of figured it out and were going to kind of slow him down but he found a way around it man like I was just for a guy that small I was very and he's not afraid Sean of anybody and he will go right into the chest of a big man um the kid from cooko who I think is going to Kansas isn't he um that's what I want to say he's going not 100% sure but anyway is his name he's a big man from cooko just a stud player I mean Marcus Burton just went into his chest like time and time again last year in the playoffs I mean that but that's who he is he's he's Fearless for a kid who might be 510 I mean it's impressive by the way the last time the men had you know when Chris Thomas was Rookie of the Year that's also the last time the men's and women's program had rookies of the year in the same year Jackie batist did it batist for the uh for the Notre Dame women's team and she's also a local so you had both both times they've done it men's and women's rookies of the year in the same year you had a local product do it Jackie that year along with Chris Thomas and of course Hannah had Dogo this year with Marcus Burton so that's that's pretty cool and just you know it's awesome speaks to the future I think not only for him but for the program as well but those two are so much fun to watch both of them both point guards I mean they can just create on their own they bring the team along with them they put them on their shoulders I mean that those two are so much fun to watch I I love watching Notre Dame basketball men or women at this point you know what I mean it's because it's they just fun to watch concur Vince concur yes so the Chicago Bears have shifted their Stadium Focus from moving out to the Arlington Heights suburbs to building a dome stadium south of War soldier field currently stands do you buy or sell a new Lakefront Stadium over the previously proposed Suburban Stadium it's a massive buy for me I I love this idea I was not a big fan of them heading out of town uh you know essentially I mean it's it's a hard that's a that's a ways out there and I love I love them being on the lake to be honest with you I think that's a great idea I think honestly going to a dome is not a terrible idea I just want them to have a just a big Bank of Windows you know that faces the lake so you can still see the lake and all that fun stuff uh but I this is a huge buy for me I think it's a win-win for everybody because you know the people of Chicago were kind of ticked off that they were going to go way out into Arlington or wherever it was and uh to keep them in the city with a two billion stadium that they're talking about I think that's great now in the meantime parking was already terrible uh around Soldier Field I can only imagine what it's going to be while they're building another Stadium but uh I I think this is absolutely The Right Move I've only been at to one um actual Bears game at okay Soldier Field that was like four or five Jesse and I went to a Thursday night game when the Cowboys were there of course the Cowboys lost but we parked you know like on the I my direction around there are always messed up what would that be like maybe the East whatever whatever side that is like towards the obviously you can't park on the the lake side of lakes Shore it's on the other side but like in a parking lot and then you walk and then you go under Lake Shore Drive you know like through one of those walkways and stuff like that so I'll be curious to see like are they going to build a parking garage like are they going to do an under you know like a bigger underground parking garage like they currently have there at Soldier Field or what that's going to look like you know John is saying football should be played outside you know I agree I think the elements you know are are part of what make football fun but uh there's like what 15 or 16 people who went to that Chiefs Bills game who might say otherwise I don't know if you heard about that they're having people getting amputated yeah I did frostbite amputees and stuff like that and you know they're gonna get a dome stadium because you get a dome stadium you can host final fource and you know that's that's what it comes down Super Bowls and yeah final fours and Super Bowls yeah good point like the actual yeah you'll probably get to host you know a handful of Super Bowls over the years you have a dome stadium in Chicago they've never hosted a Super Bowl obviously before so you get that you're G to get to host final fours you get to host like monster truck rallies all of it yeah like you might get you know WrestleMania come in you know all those different kind of things you know so that's that's why you do I haven't seen all the plans I hope it's a retractable roof at least because of the fact that you know like in the summer and you know like as when the season is starting and it's nicer outside and you are right next to the lake you know like why else are you by the lake if you're not going to have something like that but I mean it it seems like ultimately the best thing for everybody involved because the city of Chicago was so bent out of shape that they were going to move to the suburbs they did their best you know to keep them it was I thought it was all but a done deal did I I next thing you know the story drops that the Bears are going to even invest like two billion of their own money build this thing it's GNA be publicly owned which I was kind of surprised about as well so no I mean I look I I I could take or leave the dome but I understand from a financial standpoint why they would do it uh I just like the location I I didn't you know not I've gone to two bears games in my life one when I was in college and one a couple of months ago when they played the line right but I don't want to drive all the way out to Arlington either for for that you know for that game again I haven't done it that often but that's not something I would want to do and so I I like it being on the lake I like it being in the city with the with the backdrop of the city behind it and all that fun stuff so um I'm cool with it Josh wants to know what's gonna happen with the old stadium yeah I would think that they're going to implode it but I mean because that there's not that much much land there and so they're going to have to implode it in order to for parking or whatever they're going to build up around yeah whatever like yeah exactly there's just there's so little land around there like you said yeah because you're landlocked I mean you're you're you're Lake locked and then you're locked in by the um the highway and the only reason to keep it would be like level the stadium but keep the parking garage you know like that's the only reason because yeah it's just once once they you know landed the spaceship inside Soldier Field like you lost any sense of of any historic value of that right stadium so there's there's no reason to keep it at all right 100% agree 100% agree Anthony thanks for the Super Chat we do appreciate it as always I forgot about the this question's been sitting here in here from Sean Kelly he said says which would mean more for Marcus Freeman at Notre Dame 2021 New Year's six game against Oklahoma state or a playoff win against a group of five team but you lose in the second round I think this is a great question to be honest with you and obviously half of the question is revisionist history and half of it is predicting the future but if you gave me the option back in 20121 when he took over I I would take the New Year's six game against Oklahoma State and getting that win because I think with all the momentum that Notre Dame has right now in 2024 with the recruiting and the team and all that they could have had more if they win that game you know they you think it would have meant that much for him I I I think it would have been a very positive because look you can dismiss it because he was basically not he wasn't an interim Co but you know what I mean like it wasn't his team and all of that so you could kind of dismiss it but I think if he would have won it I think they have a lot more momentum going into 22 interesting I think I would still take the playoff win because at least right now you know like for these next two seasons those are going to be home playoff games what the format looks like Beyond these two seasons who knows so let's just stick with the 12 team format that we have right now so I would take that because you you would get a home win you know you'd be able to say you hosted a playoff game you want a playoff game you got to the next round and now you're saying you lose in round two so that could still be a close game it could still be you know a game where you were highly competitive but you ended up losing you know on the back end so even though it's a group of five I don't I don't think that matters that much because it's not like like to me like let's say let's say Boise state is the group of five right like if you beat Boise State as opposed to Oklahoma State is there that much different you know sort of cache to it it's not like Oklahoma State it's Oklahoma State's not Oklahoma let's put it that way just in terms of name brand the program you beat all those different kind of things so I would still take even though it's another round of the playoffs I would still take the playoff win get to the second round because you know you get to their how many are you left you're eight teams left I guess at that I would still take the playoff win even if you lose in the second round because again you didn't you didn't say you're getting blown out in the next round you're just saying you lost a game in the next round so I would still take that all right cool I like it I I would I just wouldn't have minded getting the monkey off the back of the New Year's six because that doesn't exist anymore and so they officially for the for the rest of Eternity have not won a year six bowl since 1993 yeah DK says why are we talking about losing because this is a very Notre Dame question D like when you think about it like you know like it which which which losing is the better losing you unfortunately like we get these kind of questions from fans all the time would you rather do this and lose this or do this and yeah so six players ejected after a fight at the end of the SEC Women's Championship game between LSU and South Carolina yesterday each team had to finish the game with just five players on the floor each there were no reserves left for either team so here's the responses of the two head coaches Kim Moi from LSU I wish she would have pushed Angel Reese don't push a kid you 68 don't push somebody that little that was uncalled for it in my opinion let those two girls that were drawing let them go at it so that's from Kim Moi here's Don Staley's response what you saw were two highly competitive teams trying to win a conference Championship and they did not handle it well our players didn't their players didn't I'll take responsibility for what happened for our side of it so that's from Don Staley which coach Vince had the better response come on is that even a question John Styers Don Staley obviously handled it like an adult and basically said hey these are kids that were charged up it's two good teams and at the end of the day it's on me so I take responsibility for it that's what an adult would say the other coach decided to take a different route and was like well they pushed the wrong person I wish they would have pushed this person and I would seen a really good fight like what what are you talking about like that is the worst possible thing you could have said you can believe that I suppose if you want but why in God's green earth would you say that out loud that you're promoting the two that were talking trash to each other to just duke it out in the middle of the court right what are you doing that's the feathers it should these two fighting it should have been these two fighting it's like Kim Moy is like Max mom on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia if you've ever seen that she's just like this it's been a while since I watched but I used to watch it quite a bit but that's what reminds me of it's like I can just see Kim Moi walking around her house smoking her cigarettes you know get me another bottle of booze you know whatever it's like that's like Kim Mo and you know obviously the outfits that she wears and everything else but it's just like just post game by then all you know all the emotion is supposed to be gone and I know the Moi kind of started it off by saying well I you know wish it wouldn't have happened or sudden something like that but then she goes right into this about I wish it wouldn't have happened but you know if it was going to happen you know I wish that it you know it was like I wish we would have had just a refereed boxing match at half apparently you know so do just yeah yeah just you everyone needs to say what Don Staley said you know we're yeah we're supposed to be the adults in the room we're ultimately responsible for this it shouldn't have happened we're going to do better next time and carila cordosa the one you know who shoved she came out and tweeted a you know an apology and and all that kind of stuff and it's not going to be as bad as they were saying on uh theuh TV broadcast at first they were initially saying that everyone who got ejected was not going to be able to play in the first round of the NCAA tournament but it turned out that it was like cardosa and I can't remember if it was Flo Jay or you know whichever player from it was just a couple I think that were gonna have to miss out but I will tell you this like after this I want to see these two teams meet again oh in the tournament because they obviously hate each other you know there is no love lost at all which you know again like tends to happen when you've got a Kim Moi coach team involved like at some point you know there there there are certain coaches who just kind of know how to push the buttons you know Kim Moi no she's defin Louisville is one of those kind of you know it's like maybe it's not a you know big leap that Haley van lith went from one to the other I don't know but I you know I want to see him play again in the tournament because you know after after something like this you kind of it's like get your popcorn ready you know oh yeah I'm up for it I'll be looking forward to that uh that bracket to see when and if they're going to end up facing each other because look they're both good teams and so they're both probably gonna you know roll right through the first couple of rounds and so what are they going to be in the same Regional are they going to meet in the final four you know what if they get that far obviously but you know what is that going to look like but look I I know this isn't necessarily something I should say but I'm going to say it anyway when I first saw it I thought LSU that makes sense by the way did you see the guy jump on the floor during the whole thing he was the brother of I think it was Flo like the one of the LSU players he jumped on the floor and they he was arrested for for running out on the floor he ran out onto the floor yeah CU his sister got shoved like dude what do you think was going to happen you got to be the Savior come on man with a bunch of you know again they are women versus women there's no reason that a man needs to jump out of the stands come on dude you know it's yeah jumped out of the stands and over the scores table and onto the floor over the scores table too that's even better right classy keep it classy LSU keep it classy fill in the blank it's blank that right after Utah state was eliminated from the Mountain West Conference tournament their head coach was asked how she was going to rebuild next season she answered by saying she wouldn't be there next season because her ad had just told her she was fired you want to talk about classless like on the ads part I have no problem with what the coach zero problem in fact if I'm not mistaken she answered some other questions first right before somebody asked about the future and she's just like I look I don't know what to tell you I'm not going to be here like I because I I watched her answer that question so I saw exactly what she said here's the quote I'm not going to be rebuilding I just coach my last game at Utah State I spoke with the ad and they're going in a different direction and I respect her decision and I hope they get a really good coach in and then she goes I assume there's no more questions right and then she then she walked off I like I thought she handled it extremely professionally unlike the athletic director in my opinion you want to fire her on the tarmac like on the way back that's even a little rough to be honest but before the postgame press conference like dude that was that's ter well and that's the thing you know like had the coach even had a chance to tell her team you know what what was going on any of that kind like I felt like if if that's the way the ad wanted to handle it why are you even putting the coach out there in a situation where she has to answer questions yeah the ad should have been up there answer questions exactly exactly the ad should have just sat there and said you know I just spoke with um coach I believe it was uh Ard was her name yeah something like that yeah yeah Kayla Ard you know just just spoke with coach and you know we've decided to go in a different direction and I decided that you know since she will not be the head coach next season there was no reason in putting her in this spot and sitting out here having to answer questions for anything you know that just happened or anything going forward so I'm here and I'll take a couple of you know something like that yeah very simple it look it was a that was a cowardly move to make and then it was a very unprofessional move to make her go and answer those questions exactly and I don't know if the Utah State athletic director is just like so in like into the game that you know when they was I I don't even know was it a close game was she just upset you know I was she just so upset like I you're fired I can't handle it anymore like how did this go down they had nine wins over the last the the coach had been the coach for two seasons they had five wins this year they were five and 25 they had four wins okay last year and so maybe she deserves to go but this is the absolute wrong way to go about it right absolutely you could have waited until Monday frankly me you know set up a meeting whatever that normal people do not as she's walking off the court like that is so unprofessional because like literally they would have either had to have done it walking off the court or you know right after the team went to the locker room and then the coach you know as the coach was going out to the press conference she would have had to have done it at one of those two points because there's so little time yeah can you imagine like let's say Brian fired me and he's like hey but I'm going to need you to do the show tonight like um no oh you have shoot but it's just it's so like you fire somebody and then you're like but I need you to keep I need you to go do this in front of a lot of people right it's just it's messed up man it's messed up it's that drock ask what's worse the kein USC I thought I clicked it there we go the kin USC dismiss L of the Utah State Fire it's not close it's Utah State by a landslide by a land because at least they were back well I think they were back maybe they were on the way I don't it was on the tarmac that's what I remember right yeah but I mean he wasn't going in front of the media five seconds later right just messed up exactly and I mean you know who knows what kein would have said had he gone in front of the media points you know but to me I would hope that there are good ads out there who are watching it in the way that she handled it and maybe that kind of earns her something down the road you know assum you know obviously if she's deserving and you know that but if you're a coach that wants to go coach some play now I realize that some people would take the job regardless but there's going to be some people that take a pause and they're like do I want to go work for this lady who just fired this coach walking off the court M you know yep exactly all right well I think that's going to do it for tonight we will put the wraps on things we will be back of course all week long because uh we've got uh we've got no basketball this week selection Sunday is the week next Sunday that's right this time next week we're going to be talking about NCAA seeds and brackets and everything else what what all of that looks like for both the Notre Dame women someone was asking I think it might still be in there that I think about I just [Music] remember remembered no someone was asking what the Notre a men would do you know to need to uh you know get an nit bid oh yeah I think that they might kind of still be pretty far off that bubble because I think that you know because the the NIT is owned by the NCAA I think they pretty much kind of go like the next 16 or so teams that didn't make the NCAA tournament kind of make the NIT so I don't know what realistic chance they've got but hey maybe win a few games at the ACC tournament who knows right yeah you never know I mean I I still think they would be a tough out in the first maybe round or two uh just because I think they play really good defense and you never know what's going to happen if Marcus goes off or Bron Shrewsberry hits six threes in a row whatever like they could make some noise but I think they're a little far off from going at this point they're going to have to I at least win two in the ACC Championship you know uh the ACC tournament at least two to even be in the discussion I would think right and they do play tomorrow at two o'clock in the afternoon against Georgia Tech that is their first round two o'clock so here we go yep all right so that is going to do it for today hit the like button before you leave and subscribe R and review and all that great stuff and we will talk to you tomorrow on IB Nation Sports Talk
