[Music] good morning D fam what's going on today today's the first day of school all right no not H so we got TD's first day of his junior year yep I'm the junior class president so um we're headed to the school a little bit early cuz I'm going to be helping out um pass out cookies and handing out schedules so yeah and nicoy first day of our sophomore year yeah big 10th grader yeah you excited sure nicoy painted her nails for school today I did let's see him oh cute here's nice and spiky spiky like Mikey Mike doesn't have any a mom's giving the kids breakfast of champions other moms make breakfast this mom gives the kids what they want first liar they ate breakfast too they have matching notebooks and we have inspirational quotes in our a that's okay mom says we love you dream big the YouTube we're on the YouTube what's up guys welcome to advisory yep just knowledging up an advisory yeah we're just like learning about stuff well actually we're not even learning we're just kind of goofing off on the first yeah first we had language arts not's advisory hopefully lunch is soon I'm starving look who's finally awake one of the benefits of being homeschooled is that you can sleep in on the days that you can and you don't have things right bud that's how our kids get so big and strong lots of sleep yeah it's actually one of the things that I noticed when we started homeschooling is that some of my kids are really good sleepers and some of them are not and my ones that have a hard time going to sleep at night they Thrive being able to get enough sleep because nicoy used to struggle like it was a huge struggle to get her up and get her ready she's doing a lot better now that she's in high school but we want our little boys to make sure they get enough sleep so that they can grow and tat ncoi started school today but William is finishing school actually he is on his very last day of fifth grade math and he's got one more day of language arts right Roswell you're finally out of bed do you know what time it is almost 11 almost 11 he's been up for a while he's been laying in bed waking up and his school's all done right so you've had a good break Roswell and William will actually start their next year of school we usually start about September because it is a beautiful sunny day outside and we should spend time playing outside huh for summer we can do lots of school winter comes and that's why William's a little bit behind we don't ever start till September we spend a lot of our days chasing Tay's um games and Williams games and roswell's games and so we still do some catch-up learning through the summer keep our brains bright and strong and because we homeschool we don't have to follow exactly along with what everybody else is doing but Roswell what grade are you going to be in this year second are you practicing your chiropractor skills no okay what grade you going to be in this year second second grade what is something that you want to study this year that you're interested in oh rosell's been studying dinosaurs that's right he's been doing these reading this Dinosaur book he's been drawing these dinosaur battles so learning and also practicing his art good job Raz that's what's awesome about homeschool you can work on the things that you're interested in yeah yep and William's almost done and then we'll give him a couple week break and get to work on which grade sixth grade ooh that's getting up there y getting up there in the middle school years where you got some more serious stuff to learn wait you're almost in eighth grade just a couple more years too that's right more years but eighth grade like eighth grade and you're like don't make him grow up he's only in sixth grade this year okay grow to seventh her girl William William what's something you're interested in that you'd want to study this year for hom school chemistry okay my little scientist let's learn some chemistry this year y want to blow some stuff up [Music] yep 30 30 there you go this is more math we just got done like you know what I I don't want to be on the Vlog EP we just got done with math about to get kicked out of this class yeah the phone policy is crazy yeah the phone policy is crazy so like I cannot Vlog at all in class or like I get sent to the office immediately we just finished math now it's lunch time that's the cafeteria I'm socially awkward so I don't want to record just kidding Hayden's waving at me m lunch of Champions what's up Jimmy Jr first day school honestly so boring and and I'm not I'm not glad to time for the Lord guys if you have Seminary at your high school amen attend come closer to Christ but yeah now it's time to go there seminary building yay being a Koy are in the same Seminary somehow uh here Jesus we have practice tonight right Jr yeah we have game tomorrow second day of school at home we're going to read some scriptures and then we'll see you guys after school so what's up guys we just finished Seminary me and ncoy are in the same Seminary class yes that's going to be fun but yeah we just got done with Seminary so now we're going to go home yep first day of school was fun it around I'm like dude I'm not a freshman anymore dude people are walking around the hallway oh stupid freshman and I'm like oh that's not me freshman get boiled at our school so it's like sophomore year you're like you're like you're like this feels nice and then you're like hey now I get a bully The Freshman you're like super freshman no did you call anybody any of the Freshman stupid what did that tell remember be nice to everyone guys like the dice kids yeah that's what I said to the people who said that nice everyone favorite part of the day I would I um lunch Jen favorite part of your day lunch um seeing my friends I mean my my schedule on aay is rough so it was just good to cuz like honestly in all my classes I had a lot of friends so that was probably the best part for me the only thing that got you through the day yeah see my friends every day of school we friends are the only thing that get see through the day K worst part of the day uh seating charts it's School seating charts seating charts school's rough I don't know um probably the worst part is that we just we did not do anything you know it's like yeah you just sit there you just sit there and they talk to you this is what we're going to do this is the disclosure yeah so we just didn't do anything so you would have rather done school work than do well like something fun you know it's like the first day of school is not supposed to be like heads up seven up they when they have to do school work and they complain when they don't have to do school work I can't figure this out they should do like heads up seven up or four corners I played Four Corners in like three different classes I did today really yeah t me and tayen have Seminary together wait what grade are you in [Laughter] again what I'm 10th graders do four corner is just kind of you know Elementary but well it's like a get to know you okay all right so uh what's going on the rest of the day there's a volleyball game and a girl soccer game and then I have practice tonight and it's our last practice before our first official football game of the season which is tomorrow that's right so T's got to walk through the night and it's under the lights I think yeah and tomorrow's the big day y you ready yeah I'm super excited I've been like I didn't want school to start but I've been waiting for this first game for a while so I'm really excited and I just kind of cut some of my socks that had a holes in them to make arm sleeves oh wow that's what he did for homeschool today home school kids that's what they do for fun let's not pretend tayen hasn't done that hey hold on we got to ask Rousy and Willie hey did you guys miss your big bro and sis today he's going to say no I didn't even know you guys were going that's
