Intro [Music] foreign why are you so sweaty I was watching cops so uh Minnesota fighting Vikings uh recently signed miles Gaskin uh well he was on the roster then on the practice go on the back on the roster uh for a little bit of running back depth as king kene and wangu is still on into Reserve as well as Dwayne McBride on the practice squad but then aha the Vikings traded for former Los Angeles Rams of Anaheim running back cam acres for like a 20 21 95 7 17th round pick it really doesn't matter so uh the question was what was going to happen there uh and both of them were on the 53 for week threes action against the uh against the San Diego Chargers of Los Angeles whatever but now the Vikings have made Myles Gaskin the move as they've released running back miles Gaskin now they certainly could bring him back to the practice squad I think that could potentially be in the cards but on the 53 saving a roster spot as well as saving a little bit of cap space again that was the reason why the Vikings demoted Gaskin from the 53 to the practice score week one uh was to make his contract non-guaranteed uh except for 35 percent of it so save a little bit of cash uh if he's released or even if he's back on the practice squad and Acres um you know first week in the building last week he was inactive but now it Ty Chandler looks like uh he is going to be firmly in that mix now the Vikings respect through two games they had the League's worst rushing attack with only six to nine not nice rushing yards I put up a buck 30 uh in the effort uh Sunday against the Chargers so now uh even though Madison is running hard he's had his ball security issues Kevin O'Connell's been talking tough about hey if you Turf the football you're going to sit or you fix it or we'll get someone else in there we'll see what happens there but Ty Chandler looked good in some Spirit uh some spare work uh cam makers uh he does have a little bit of burst he does have some familiarity with the outside Zone scheme of course with Kevin O'Connell and West Phillips back in the days with the Rams and the Vikings they gotta get something going on the ground keep play action viable keep pressure off of Kirk Cousins do some favors for this offensive line do some favors for this defense keeping them off the field so we'll see what happens and they still got Dwayne McBride on the practice squad as well as king Ken and wangu on injured reserve he is eligible to return uh week five uh in two weeks against the Kansas City Chiefs I wonder if Taylor Swift's gonna come to the U.S Bank Stadium again I don't know man I don't know but more importantly the Vikings currently have a 50 through man roster spot open with the release of Miles Gaskin so bag out Akeem Hicks that's Akeem Hicks music we need him I don't care that he's not a kingpix of uh you know the last decade or so he still played well uh with the Bucks last season I could still add a little bit something along the defensive line frankly I trust him more than Dean Lowry right now so so why the hell not plus just think about the practices talk about practice just giving Bradbury nightmares all over again there you go Outro but uh your thoughts or thoughts uh Vikings made a roster move releasing running back miles Gaskin with Cam makers in the fold and now they have an open 53 spot what they gonna do uh let us know your thoughts and our thoughts in the comment section below subscribe for daily Vikings takes want support the work put a little something in the venmo but to next time skull production value thank you [Music]
