It's Official: OASIS To Reunite In 2025

warning I want to watch the news are you making are you making Headway at me this is the [Music] [Music] news maab it's time for the only news that matters and Oasis has confirmed 15 years after their split that the band will reunite for 14 concerts in the UK and Ireland during the summer of 2025 the shows will take place from July 4th to August 15th tickets go on sale Saturday August 31st at 8:00 a.m. in Ireland and 9:00 a.m. in the UK the guns have fallen silent said Brothers n and Liam Gallagher in a joint statement the stars have aligned the great weight is over see it will not be televised just the gradual realization that the time is right the band's lineup was not confirmed and the statement said that there were no plans to record new music ahead of the shows which were build as a domestic leg of the road trip titled Oasis Live 25 the 14 dates were described as the only European appearent es of the year but the band's website notes that plans are underway for Oasis Live 25 to go to other countries outside of Europe later next year this week marks the 30th anniversary of Oasis debut album Definitely Maybe the followup what's the story Morning Glory which features hits wonder wall Don't Look Back in Anger and Champagne Supernova turn sturdy in October of 2025 Oasis broke up in 2009 after tension between the brothers reached an alltime high in the year that followed their relationship appeared not to improve in recent times however the public feuding appeared to subside and rumors of uh reunification began to squirrel n told nme in 2023 that eventually it will happen they never really been a serious offer about the Big O getting back together but there you go in April 2024 Liam wrote on his social media that reuniting was an idea from the past adding that the siblings must all really move in for our own mental health but his son Jean implicated something else in an August interview he said I get the feeling my dad wants it let's hope it happens it's easier to speak about after a couple of pints so there you go Oasis is getting back together to do some shows and uh if you don't know I am a huge Oasis fan huge I own everything they put out even the bsides and and let me tell you a lot of their bides is better than the songs that ended up on their albums it's weird I mean one of my favorite oas's albums is master plan which is a collection of bsides like aquous and uh going nowhere these are like some of the best Oasis songs the master plan I mean these are phenomenal songs that I would say the master plan is pretty much better than anything they've done except for Don't Look Back in Anger it's my second favorite Oasis song and yes there's a lot of people everybody on uh The Rock and metal combat podcast Facebook page hates them well not everybody there's like two or three other people like me but everybody else you know my favorite is the quote they should have stayed broken up like what what do you care if they come back just don't go you going complain about them but by saying they should have stayed broken up as like saying yeah people that like Oasis is [ __ ] them you know you should not have that attitude unless it's about Samy Hagar beler but I get it you know people hate Oasis oh they're they're The Beatles ripoff they're this they're that that's fine I mean you you all don't get it all right and uh but you know I will be honest with you I feel not that excited about Oasis reunion to tell you the truth because of the solo albums that nol and Liam has been releasing have been Stellar amazing albums man and I am more of a null guy I like null singing better I like NL songs well no wrote pretty much all the songs in the early years but man Liam Gallagher for me surprisingly has a better solo career than null in my opinion his first Al as you were is awesome why me why not is even better the third album I don't think it's as good as the second the first and second but it's still a good album come on you know but to me the best thing that Liam has done was the last thing he released back in 202 uh 4 I think was it this year came out uh the Liam Gallagher John Squire album is freaking phenomenal where n's first two albums to me are the best who built the Moon is is kind of a strange album but I don't mind it I think it has some good songs on there and his last album cancel Skies may not be my favorite N Gallagher album but it's the only album out of all of them where I like every single song on it which is weird but yeah I mean I got to see the council Skies tour and I got to see I flew to new orans to see who built the Moon that shows you what a fan I am of no Gallagher and I'm a huge fan of their interviews a lot of people hate the Gallagher brothers because of their egos and the way you know that by the way they never said they were bigger than the Beatles yet a lot of people you know point oh nol and Liam said they're bigger than Beatles no nothing can be further than the truth they're always out there saying that the Beatles are the greatest band ever you know so I don't know and yes they Nick a little bit from uh The Beatles here and there but they also cigarettes and alcohol is a total ripoff of of a T-Rex get it on Shaker maker is a ripoff of that that Pepsi commercial uh back in the 70s I Like to Teach the World to Sing I I think they got sued for it I'm not sure but it's a blatant ripoff they've done blatant ripoffs of The Beatles but also other bands you know but yeah it's no surprise that they're big fans of The Beatles and uh I love their cocky attitude man I love uh when null C called out the council in in uh England saying that they do cocaine and then some old guy from the council came out in the media going if it's true there's somebody do no cocaine he should come out and say who it is there I doubt there was anybody in the doing cocaine it's just at the time null was on a lot of cocaine huge amount of cocaine you know and uh I I love Oasis I love all their albums man but I got to say other than what's the story Morning Glory I think all their albums have filler on it even the first definitely maybe uh I don't like DIY Diner and there's a couple other ones I don't like on there but this Friday coming up they're releasing the 30th anniversary of it in a box set which um which has definitely madebe the original recording cuz they actually recorded the album and they ended up not releasing it and they went in and recorded it again so the original version is going to be uh in the new box set so I'm looking forward to it I pre-ordered it man because I'm a huge fan uh live forever is one of the greatest uh songs they ever did did I love rock and roll star and uh Super Sonic is awesome Fade Away there's a lot of great songs on that album there a couple fillers but yeah they got plagued with fillers starting with uh well I wouldn't even go as far to say be here now has a lot of fillers though a lot of people hate be here now but the funny thing about be here now they were on such a rooll from the first two albums that when be here now came out it got positive reviews and everybody loved it but then when Years Gone by people started slagging it saying it's bloated and it's this and that and yeah I think it is kind of bloated but in a good way you know I don't mind the bloatedness I love be here now be here now is my second favorite right after what's the story Morning Glory do you know what I mean um My Big Mouth one of the greatest songs and and you know something about Liam there's songs that Liam sings I Can't Stand his voice it's so nasly like I wasn't into Oasis at first I heard I don't remember hearing anything from defitely maybe I might have but I I don't remember but when I heard wonder wall I was like oh man I can't stand this dude's voice cuz his voice gets nasly and horrible but then there's stuff like my big mouth and stop crying your heart out out I think he sings It's Magic what he sings you know so there's some and his solo thing wall of glass amazing damn tune amazing damn vocals you know I can really get into Liam when he's good and then there's stuff like little James that makes me cringe now as far as a world tour I don't know if it would do well in America Oasis never really caught on here like they did in England because over there it's biblical I mean they're selling out well they haven't sold it out yet but I guarantee all these shows they're doing multiple nights I think at wly or somewhere somewhere I guarantee all those shows are going to sell out because in England it's a big deal here it's not I mean uh the two times I did see Oasis back in the day the first time was at West Palm Beach Auditorium which was you know on Modest Arena not really that big I think it held up to like I don't know 5,000 people then they played the Pino Beach Amphitheater which was smaller than that and uh they weren't really doing that well here like they did over there and obviously um Ireland is that the other place they're playing wherever they're playing other than the uh UK so I don't think it'll do well it might do well the first go around but I don't see it selling out Arenas or nothing like that but would I go see an oasis reunion damn right I will but you know I never got to see Liam Gallagher solo it never well if it did come to the states it didn't come near me and and you know just one time nol came near me when they opened for what was the name of that band garbage I think it was I I I left after Neil uh null played and it was amazing because he played going nowhere which is a bide that's on master plan and it was amazing seeing that and yeah Don't Look Back in Anger is is one of my favorite songs ever I absolutely love that song and I do love Oasis even though they are played with fillers on a lot of their albums uh but every one of their albums has awesome songs like my favorite Oasis my least favorite Oasis album is dig your soul but man falling down is one of my favorite Oasis songs you know and Importance of Being Idol off don't believe the truth amazing song but there's a lot of filler on those albums there's a lot of fillers on uh um standing on the shoulder of giants the Heathen chemistry but all of them had amazing songs but anyway how about those eyebrows those Gallaghers have I mean they're huge you know when they go on a plane they have to buy a separate ticket for their eyebrows true story they're huge I know most of you don't like Oasis you hate them you hate their cocky attitude
