delighted to welcome Hannah hope showb editor the sun on Sunday WHo joins us right now to talk about of course you know what we're going to talk about going to talk about o Asis and the big reunion and it's no longer maybe it's definitely on uh Hannah the news came out at 8:00 this morning and the World Went Crazy yes this is the most exciting uh news for rock and roll fans in some time OAS is live 25 so they're playing 14 long way to dates uh across the UK and Ireland uh starting from next summer well you say only 14 there was a lot of talk wasn't there that they would reunite again first time in 15 years but they were going to try and like play more than the record-breaking Taylor Swift eight sellout concerts at Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena which everyone was and actually re Wembley Stadium I think was that big realistically they announce for and they're just going to keep announcing them until they stop selling out aren't they I would be very surprised if they don't go something like that but there's no doubt at all the demand is huge they are I mean look you know soundtrack to my 20s no doubt at all and and and for many people of my age absolutely you know definitely maybe that song wonder wall is still just going around in my head but also they're still call to a much younger generation as well they're an absolutely iconic band uh Julia and I think the fact that they broke up 15 years ago and have had this very public spat and Feud ongoing on social media and in interviews makes them more intriguing rock and roll uh and expensive as well I mean when these tickets go on sale on Saturday they are going to go like hot uh hotcakes let me tell you um and I think they're going to be quite expensive as well I'm I'm hearing prices of 100 150 upwards oh they're all they're very down with the people aren't they the Gallagher boys come on but that's again I'm I'm pretty cross with you Taylor Swift doing that to all the parents with their you know their daughters I mean I spent the whole of the last couple of weeks you know heading home on the tube train to find a load of girls in their sequins uh all all getting so excited about going off to their taylorwood concert even though it wasn't starting like seven hours and the parents you think how much you you basically spent about 700 800 quid for one day out for the family but here's the thing I mean the thing about this was this Con this this band they broke up over a backstage R apparently you know punches were pulled and things uh behind you know between Liam and null they you know the two brothers at the heart of the of the band um and they've basically not spoken since then and word is that the reason why they're back together is fundamentally down to Cold Hard Cash and the actually uh the 20 million pound divorce that no Gallagher's just signed yes absolutely we know that uh no is going through a very pricey divorce uh and Liam is actually been wanting a reunion for quite some time um he hasn't been quite as successful solo wise as Noel Noel is seen as the songwriter of the two and Liam uh the performer with that Priceless bravado uh so yeah I think money will be the reason and also it remains to be seen whether or not they can say civil on this tour uh and keep the booze down because obviously they are going to be needing to stay on friendly enough terms to perform yeah absolutely I'm I'm going to see whether they actually do survive the whole tour the two brothers without coming to blows it's going to be fascinating Hannah if you can get us some spare tickets we will take a hold of show presed Sun On Sunday thank you very much indeed
