“She Rehearsed That Contemptuous Laugh Face” | Kamala Harris SLAMMED Over Trump Debate

uh so uh your verdict on last night uh it didn't go particularly well for Mr Trump did it well it depends on who you talk to Kevin so I watched and I don't think it was his best night either he allowed himself to get baited by KLA Harris I think he had some pretty easy points he could have made as far as making her own the economy own inflation own high crime own illegal immigration he tried in those regards but he went down some rabbit holes too like you know people eating Haitian immigrants eating or illegal immigrants eating dogs and cats in Springfield Ohio and that's something that he's getting mocked on today now all that said kamla Harris on style points did quite well right she memorized her can lines and recited them quite easily I didn't think she had the ability to do that the problem is that no one really got any substance we still don't know exactly who kamla Harris is and where she stands on the most important issues so now let me connect the dot here Reuters did a focus group here in the United States and they took 10 un ided voters 10 people who said we don't know who we're going to vote for and of those 10 six said after the debate they would vote for Donald Trump three for KLA Harris one undecided then I look at a CP go yeah that's fascinating right and then cpan does a poll and they find that 75% of people thought Trump won a debate and only 25% Harris so I could cite some other ones but it's not that slam D blow out that people think it was did she exceed expectations yes what was the expectation uh complete a sentence coherent ly that's what the bar that Joe Biden said and she did but she still didn't really give us anything as far as what her plans are for the future and that means that Donald Trump is still winning this race right now believe it or not well I do believe it I'm really glad I've got you on because uh I think one of the problems that Donald suffers from is if he'd have gone out last night and absolutely annihilated her with detail after detail after detail audience applauding brilliant brilliant brilliant the media well yeah you know what I'm saying at at home uh the media on both sides of the Atlantic would have written disaster for Trump uh he cannot win in their eyes now you're right she did a lot better than people thought but I'm fascinated to hear you say uh I I didn't watch all of it but I watched the great SES of it I didn't think that he was as disastrous as the newspapers and the television channels are making out today so the real story here is particularly due to those fascinating statistics you were just giving us it's still all to play for isn't it oh completely I think we're right back to where we were right before the debate started I don't think this moves the needle at all uh and and look you look at the bias in this debate by ABC News David Mir Lindsey Davis that's a big story here in the States today as well people were not happy at all with the fact that they fact check Donald Trump five times during this debate CNN didn't do it once the the the job of the fact Checker should be left to the candidates not for moderators to jump in and here's the problem they ran into by factchecking Donald Trump five times you'd say okay well then they fact check KLA Harris five times or four times or three times they didn't do it once and she lied with a plum I mean over and over again saying that Donald Trump wants to ban abortion nationally no he does not he she pushed the fine people's hoax out of Charlottesville Virginia where she claimed that Donald Trump neo-nazis no he did not she said that Donald Trump promises a blood bath if he does not win no he did not he was talking about the financial markets if he does not win and I could go down the line as far as all the things that she said that she absolutely lied on including the fact she keeps saying that she supports fracking and has since 2020 and said it back in 2020 and there is no evidence of this ABC could have fact checked her on those things then maybe I wouldn't have mind the fact checks of trump so much uh but they did not and that's a big story today how ABC News really put the scales towards Cara Harris and people don't like that stuff very much she swivels on a quarter doesn't she and uh you know if you don't like her opinion she has at others don't like fracking oh you like fracking I like fracking then that's the kind of politician she is I have to put a few excerts from last night into this uh chat Joe so uh here's a trump uh I've got here Trump bullet to head uh let's have a look at this someone who has openly expressed disdain for members of our military understand what it would mean if Donald Trump were back in the white house with no guard rails because certainly we know now the court won't stop him we know JD Vance is not going to stop him it's up to the American people vice president Harris thank you lindsy vice president Harris in your last run for president please this is the one that weaponized not me she weaponized I probably took a bullet to that ahead because of the things that they say about me they talk about democracy I'm a threat to democracy they're the threat to democracy with a fake Russia Russia Russia investigation that went nowhere see the thing about that Joe is uh a lot of uh sort of political insiders Washington Elites and all that would say oh well that's camela winning I see the people of America looking at that and thinking Trump wins that absolutely because he's accurate right they have IED the justice system against him he bought up Russia he could have bought up all these trials that he had to go through as a candidate right and obviously most of them have been thrown out they backfired in terms of polling for Democrats and by the way threat to democracy also can include the fact that the one candidate up there that didn't receive one vote when she's ever run for president in 2020 and in 2024 is kamla Harris she's the one who's installed and now she is the threat to democracy because no one no one voted for her so it's a pretty easy argument to make it looks like they may do Kevin a second debate here in the United States I would hope that's on Fox I don't say that because I'm a contributor at the network but I think honest we finally get some Fair relevant questions we won't get the selective fact checks like we did with ABC and KLA Harris I don't think has ever done an interview on Fox news for for good reason not because we're unfair because she knows she's really going to get not only asked good questions but follow-ups to those questions and she's going to have to start giv specifics and she wants new part of that I I know that syndrome left-wing politicians don't tend to Come on talk either uh so uh we all all well aware of that uh so uh here's another clip that says Trump wants to send Harris a Maga hat I don't say her because she has no policy everything that she believed three years ago and four years ago is out the window she's going to My Philosophy now in fact I was going to send her a Maga hat she's gone to My Philosophy but if she ever got elected she'd change it so she rehearsed that contemptuous laugh face didn't she she did that a lot last night like oh boy what are you talking about Donald you're so silly you you you it's it's mockery almost right and but this is where Trump kind of missed on that he could say yeah she's changed all of her policies okay Mr Trump which policies like like go through them all talk about how she now wants a border wall right specifics and that takes prep and I just wonder if he thinks okay if I just do my rally speech and I condense it down to a two-minute answer on XYZ that's good enough he needs to get more specific on this stuff uh so people really can understand when he says that outside of people that watch your show or watch my network uh they won't understand why he's saying that he's got to give the wise and he's got to really connect it back to them why it should matter to them that she's flipped on all these yeah yeah I mean he's never been good on details you and I talked last week that our fear was that he'd just come out shouting and screaming and wouldn't get her on any details wouldn't press her on her failure to have any policies which is still the case uh I mean he wasn't entirely bereft in that way but uh he wasn't brilliant was he uh and this is the problem and I I'm just wondering why it is that he allowed himself to be goed so often she was clearly told get out there and irritate him you know tell him that no one everyone gets bored at his rallies you know tell him uh that he's talking nonsense laugh at him contemptuously and sadly I mean I I don't know why he can't teach himself not to R rise to these baits but he can't stop himself can he well no because then you see his surrogates going out today saying yep he absolutely won the debate right which again if you we're talking substance I I think without those details that we just described in some of those arguments at least you know his substance he doesn't really have to describe it all that much because he just look at the way he uh you know ran the country for four years right and that that's a good thing uh but in the end yeah I I think I see the Trump camp now sharing a lot of uh stories that yep Trump won and people going on saying wow he did a good debate and Trump went on Fox after the debate last night and said that you know he thought that his was his best debate there has to be somebody within that inner circle to say no Mr President we know you can do better and it's going to take XYZ to do that and we're going to go into a room for four days and we're going to make sure you have those details down pat and uh it has to go differently next time because this was not your best debate I don't know if he has somebody around him like that but you would hope that is the case well I think he does and I think he did exactly what he was told when he went out against Joe Biden in June by the way I think that was a mistake he should have said no uh why don't we have a debate in September like we normally would have done why' you want it in in June uh he went out there and of course annihilated Joe Biden in a very disciplined way he was told don't bully that old guy and he didn't he let Joe hang himself so he can do what he's told uh but the next debate and he must do a next debate there's some been some suggestion he might not want to that would be fatal I think he has to go out there again and he has to be more disciplined and I'll play a last clip now Joe and he has to avoid moments like this in Springfield they're eating the dogs the people that came in they're eating the cats they're eating they're eating the pets of the people that live live there and this is what's happening in our country and it's a shame well uh it's very amusing and I'm going to forgive camela Harris there for laughing contemptuously now look I I suspect these stories are not true uh you know if they are I mean that's one hell of a story but you know that kind of stuff will lose the audience won't it I mean it's just a bit ridiculous he's got to sort of stay serious don't you think yeah and again I keep I I hate if I keep repeating myself but it takes prep so instead of bringing up the Springfield Ohio thing that may or may not have happened there there are some videos you see of people on the ground swearing that it absolutely is uh the city planner says no it's not so we don't know so if you don't know then Don't Go Near it right it's it's it's it's clear as mud if that's true or not but you can say for example in cities like New York Chicago Minneapolis San Francisco if you are a legal residence there you're seeing your Social Services taken away by Mass illegal immigration sanitation education and police forces are being cut so City budgets are reallocating that money that should be going to you the taxpayer to those who are here illegally I think that's wrong she supports it and that's why you should elect me do that and I think you're on your way yeah uh exactly right I mean instead of talking about dogs and cats being eaten by migrants talk about the social problems that mass migration causes talk about uh the social problems emanating from the the southern border talk about Law and Order in the city and have details uh now I I do I do believe that in the end although he has trouble with this uh Donald Trump can at his best be disciplined he was in June uh I think that even though he's not admitting it now I heard him earlier saying uh oh we've had 10 polls everyone said I I won it by a mile I don't think so Donald uh but I think he'll look upon last night and think as you just said Joe I'll have to do better next time and he'll have to be more disciplined and he'll have to do what she did you know the things thing about camela Harris is she's like our prime minister now she's a lawyer lawyers don't tend to be very exciting but they're good at swatting at revising for exams assimilating facts uh that's what she did last night he's got to do the same next time his problem is he the kind of facts he likes to assimilate a headlines in the National Inquirer and not the New York Times he's got to go the New York Times route for the next debate right New York Post all right I'm be a little biased on that within the family you know what I mean yeah no no I know what you mean it it has to be much more serious and I think what would behoove him Kevin and I'll leave it here because I know we got to go is the next debate the way it usually works is you have three debates right you're only going to get two probably in this situation between K Harris and Donald Trump make the next one a town hall because traditionally the second debate has been town hall and I think he'd be much more comfortable talking to people having an audience there than being at a table or at a Podium going back and forth with KLA Harrison being at the mercy of the moderators if we take the questions out of the moderators hands and give them to the people uh maybe that would be a more comfortable situation for him and much more uncomfortable for KLA Harris so that's the route he should go at this point I think but just to reiterate uh to bookend this uh fascinating discussion Joe uh you're in no doubt expert Observer of the American politic scene there's still everything to play for Donald Trump can still do this absolutely because in the states that matter it's still very very tight Pennsylvania Wisconsin Michigan Georgia North Carolina Nevada Arizona how did this debate resonate with those folks in those States and in the end the conditions on the ground are still the conditions on the ground inflation's still way too high for people's taste they don't like the wars that are going on overseas they hate illegal immigration they don't like crime that continues just to fester in their neighborhoods to the point where they're actually having to move out go to other states all these things are still happening so in the end even if you don't like Donald Trump or his demeanor last night you still may say my life was better off under him than it was under Biden and Harris and I may not like the guy but I'm doing what's best for my family and myself and that's how I'm going to vote
