it's been cool and blustery with heavy showers around today but for many of us tomorrow it'll be dry with decent Spells Of Sunshine but rain returns to Scotland and Northern Ireland for the start of the weekend and that's because tomorrow we've got high pressure over much of the UK but you can see for Saturday weather front start to slide into Northwestern areas of the Atlantic Ocean now tonight for most of us showers will fade away to leave it dry with clear and Starry skies and the winds falling light as well but there will be a couple of exceptions northern and western Scotland and Coastal parts of East Anglia may see one or two showers lingering but it will be a cold night look at these temperatures towns and cities down to four or 5 degrees and out in the countryside there could well be a touch of frost by dawn so a chilly start the day for all of us tomorrow but for many of us it will be a dry and fine day with a mixture of clouds and sunshine lighter winds compared to recent days too but later in the day the wind picks up again for Scotland and Northern irand particularly towards the west and outbreaks of rain approaching for the early part of the evening here's the beach then a bit more detail 4 in the afternoon you can see the cloud thickening up across Northern irland and the far west of Scotland ahead of rain out towards the Far West that will drift in through the evening but ahead of that for the rest of Scotland and the aisle of man it's a bright afternoon lighter winds and some decent Spells Of Sunshine temperatures though still below where they should be for the time of year typically 12 to 16° for most now on Saturday to start the weekend all change for Scotland and Northern irand the cloud thickens up a band of rain will slide through the winds picking up as well but head of that across England and Wales after a chilly start with the odd patch of mist of fog it's dry with decent Spells Of Sunshine and a bit milder temperat more widely in the mid to high teams
