so the Saga with Brandon auk and the San Francisco 49ers just took an interesting turn involving the Denver Broncos we saw iuk finally get extended by the 49ers four years $120 million a deal that has been in the works for some time but there were those rumors about auk potentially getting traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers per Diana Rini the 49ers were only willing to do that if they could get a Top Flight wide receiver to replace him they apparently offered a third round pick to the Denver Broncos for Courtland Sutton and they then would have flipped auk to the Pittsburgh Steelers but Denver declined the offer leading San Francisco to extend iuk so the 49ers were indeed interested in Courtland Sutton they were going to send a third round pick the Broncos clearly felt that was not nearly enough to move the needle if they were going to trade courland Sutton it would have happened back in April during the draft when teams like the Steelers and the Rams were interested the 49ers were too little too late on their offer for courland Sutton the Broncos are at a point now where courland Sutton is Bonafide your wide receiver one this year they gave him some extra money on his contract allowing him to play out this season and will address next year when it comes but still teams are interested in potentially trading for Sutton you have to wonder if next year with Sutton not having any guaranteed money on his deal still will there still be a trade market for him this was probably the most you were going to get for Sutton in a trade but the Broncos clearly feel like he is more valuable to this team helping B Nicks develop then he is a third round pick so at the end of the day I think this is the right move by the Denver Broncos they weren't going to get much more than this for courland Sutton so just keep him here this is the best move for Denver and ultimately the best move for San Francisco as well because they keep a key piece of their offense in the building the real losers in this situation in my opinion are the Pittsburgh Steelers all right Broncos Country let me know in the comments section below how do you guys feel about this little bombshell here that the Broncos were offered a third round pick by the 49ers for Portland Sutton drop those comments Down Below guys I would love to hear your thoughts as always be sure to leave a like on this video as well as subscribe and ring the bell so these videos appear in your notification feed I would really appreciate it guys those are both free and easy ways to show your support helps tell YouTube's algorithm to push us out and helps us get seen by more and more members of Broncos Country just like you and me and until next time guys I am your host Gage Madrid saying peace out
