New York Giants vs Vikings Week 1 Film Breakdown | Dexter Lawrence Will Wreak Havoc!

once a giant always a giant for me it's only a giant what's going on YouTube it's Diggy 546 and uh we got a a a good video to take a look at I wanted to pull up dex's games against Garrett Bradberry in this Vikings offensive line there's a little bit of difference uh for instance you got Ed Ingram there now who hasn't really played well but you still got Garett Bradberry there and Dex is going to be lined up at the zero or at the one so he's going to be going against Bradberry a lot and let's just take a look at some of the plays that he's had going against Garett Bradberry and I think he's going to replicate that because I think he's a better player than he was in this particular game or in these two games so first play let's just take a look at decks in the Run game just look at the athlete that he is I'm going to get through these plays pretty quickly but just look at the athlete I got his 340 64 340 and he's just throwing a guy out the way we know he can do that but look at the acceleration to go get dvin cook I mean crazy stuff so you're going to see the jerseys change because I'm showing the the regular season game from 2022 and the playoff game but just look more of the same more of the same I mean there's nothing to really unpack the hands are inside he's bigger he's stronger he's faster he's quicker than everybody else that he goes against Dex wins I mean in a very simple way so we all know Dex is a problem they're going to chip Dex with the guard here before he goes to go get uh Jaylen Smith and it's just just more of the same just domination in the Run game domination against a guy like Garrett Bradberry I mean what is he 300 lbs 298 he's not going to be able to do much with a guy like Dex just look at him just extend and this is the first time I'm stopping to play you're going to see this a lot in this film he's going to get his hands inside he's going to extend and he's going to make make a play so this next play here is absolutely bananas absolutely bananas watch him throw a 300 pound man out of the club pretty much like it like he's not there like he doesn't exist just watch 97 middle of the screen it's hard to miss decks just take a look at just take a look at this dominance here it's just like there's nothing you can do here gar Bradberry is not Jason Kelce and he allowed Dex to to ruin these two games for the Vikings I mean it's it's surprising that they put up as many points as they did with Kurt Cousins but deck pretty much ruined this game this the line of scrimmage was never the same so you know if for some reason Garett Bradberry does figure out a way to to slow down Dexter Lawrence guess what once you start to do that the stunts start to come and this 340 lb bulldozer is going to be able to run stunts with the best of them just take watch how much space he takes up he's basically getting blocked by two guys because there's no no way you can just hand this guy off in a half harder way so he's taking up all that space and then he just goes and gets the quarterback I mean it you can try to stop him you know you can try to block him if you did double him successfully but then he's going to start doing things like this just being more athletic than you so this next play here you're going to see a long arm move from Dex and it's just more domination and just getting guys out of his face and going after the quarterback watch the long arm and just him just go scoop the guy I mean just crazy stuff man like what can Garrett Bradberry do with this guy nothing he can't do anything with them so a lot of times when I see people go against decks I feel bad for them now this is a three-man rest and Shout Out shout out to Kayon Tibido putting the moves on darol just just kind of strong arming darol now darol ends up winning this rep in a vacuum but Kayon push in the pocket definitely helped uh Dex with this pressure here so take a look at deck Just Jack Ezra Cleveland up and get into the back field I mean just jacking the guy up Kavon starts off nice and then he just kind of gets pancak but that pressure that that push definitely made things a lot easier for deck to come in in there and uh get a hand on them but look at Kirk Cousins man look at Kirk completing that pass is nuts and Kirk did this routinely he did this routinely in those two games do you think that Sam darn under this this type of duress is going to be completing these passes to the the the TJ hawson that's not even going to play in this game do you really think he's going to be making these passes all day like Kirk I don't think so all right so for all my real football fans that love trench warfare they love the trenches just take a look at deck's number 97 anchor in right here against this double team like they're not double teaming him he's not moving he's not moving he's Anchored In and he makes this tackle it's like ridiculous I've said ridiculous about six or seven times in this video but there's no other way to describe it there's no person in the history of the NFL that has this skill set that's 340 like Vin will Fork that's as hard to move as he is that also gets after the quarterback that also has a little bit of speed to him and foot quickness to him it's crazy so this next play you're going to just see some more attempts at helping gar Bradberry deal with Dexter Lawrence to no avail to no avail it doesn't help at all doesn't really move Dex but anywhere near the quarterback as you see that that that the help comes from from 67 here and nothing really happens all it does is just kind of give Dex a boost towards Kirk Cousins and again look at Kirk throwing with anticipation like a boss here I mean like this is crazy stuff from kurk cousins that we're not going to see we're not going to see this from Sam darn and I doubt we would have seen this from JJ McCarthy a guy under this much pressure there is nothing that this interior offensive line for the Vikings can do to stop Dexter Lawrence and the only way that you can do that is if you have Kurt Cousins or or one of the Premier vet quarterbacks in this league and Sam Donald ain't that man all right let's take a look at Garrett Bradberry the marathon continues folks this these are from different games this is two games this isn't 17 games this isn't six games this is two games this is how many times Dex was in the back field and and destroying things take a look at him against gar Bradberry here take a look at this play action and Dex is there and Dex is there I mean like what can you do I mean I am very surprised that Kirk put up as many points as he did against us because he was under constant pressure this is almost every other play Dex is in the back field for some reason I don't have the I don't have the end zone view capture here but Dex is the big guy in the middle right underneath Leonard Williams with the the 99 and and the long hair Dex is just going to do a swim move here you know he's not only a strong arm long arm guy he can also do a swim move he can also get past folks so just take a look here against gett bradbear again he's in the back field and he gets held and draws a penalty because he's going to take out the quarterback if Garett Bradberry doesn't hold him right there there so folks I'm like what 10 minutes into this video and I'm realizing that some of these are against I think the the now giant Austin schlotman I think so slan I think so the the giant who just got hurt but you guys get the point you've seen him against Garr Brad bear you've seen him against the backup center too and the same result but let's just take a look at here just take a look at at at the dominance here and this is another pass that gets completed but Dex by himself if you look at him in a vacuum he won his matchup at least every other play if not more than that like he's he's guys are falling down trying to block him and then you got to have the running back in there and he's still almost getting to the quarterback and all right folks this is the most famous play that a lot of us are going to remember this is the last play of the Vikings playoff game where Xavier McKenna shout out to Xavier mcken the now Packer stops TJ hackinson from uh getting this down and pretty much ends the game but because it's because of the pressure from Dexter Lawrence so watch 97 here get into the back field and we'll wrap this up here get that pressure on Kirk Cousins have to make them throw it short and that's ball game all right so let's pause it here I always try to find something something to pause it at and I think this summarizes it from start to finish from the beginning of that first Vikings game to the end of the playoff game Dexter Lawrence had kurtt cousins under extreme duress and again for the folks that may comment like that's not gar Bradberry every play look at Garett Bradberry right now look at him look at him on the ground as a matter of fact I'm going to take a screenshot of this and this is going to be the thumbnail and we're going to point out the fact that Garrett Bradberry is on the ground look at him so Garrett Bradberry Austin slan whoever you got we know they don't got slman obviously cuz he's a giant but whoever you got there does not stand a chance Ed Ingram I love you man the LSU Tiger but listen you can't block Dexter Lawrence it's not happening so I expect Des Lawrence will be a huge factor in this game Sunday I I don't think they have an answer to stop him I I just really don't know how they plan to do it because they just don't have the dogs on the inside and I think that really is going to make them suffer so if the Giants win this game which I feel really good about right now if they win this game I I think that Dexter Lawrence is going to have something like 10 or 12 pressures in this game and I think it'll be something that really forces Sam Don to make some mistakes uh forces some sacks causes some real issues for Sam Donal and I think that will win us the game because they don't have Kurt Cousins making those great decisions and even with Kurt Cousins making great decisions and throwing with anticipation and getting hit every time he throws and making great throws they still lost so let's not forget get that so U Giants fans I I wanted to inject some hope into you all for the first week I think these first two weeks Dexter Lawrence is going to have a ball and um don't get too excited don't get too overconfident because we got a Justin Jefferson video coming down the pipe to talk about
