points this guy is a leader in every sense of the word and he'll step across the sidelines after making a good gain on that [Applause] one got it behind the line it's Bailey and he'll have enough for the first down at the 42 and the warhawks want to move quickly and that's why QBs love their tight ends so much right especially when they're athletic because they make short throws turn into long Gams because of his ability after the catch it's so unique and special he is dominant in this offense at the 45 on it way they finally get him on the ground but the big running play moves to change for the first down they'll ride the hot hand really nice stop there from this senior leader looks as if we have an injury on that last play and we'll take a break to check him out picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second down wants to throw it's Moody gets it out fast and they'll finally get him down after a terrific pickup the warhawks have it with a first and 10 wide receiver now comes in motion wants to throw on first down here comes the rush and they've got him wrapped up at the 28 and nice answer by this defense you give up a big play you go take a big play sometimes you get down on yourselves and one play turns to two nice job by this defense getting the sack creating some momentum at last play the kind of thing that can mess up a really good drive it's second and 17 they think there's room to run to the right here finds just enough room to pick up a couple down to the 26 now the eighth play of the opening drive but this time facing third and [Applause] long time running out and he goes down at the 34 pretty nice as a defense right when you can go nickel put five DBS on the field and not have to Blitz anyone trusting your front four to get the job done on third down and they do it right there getting the sack they're happy enough to try to take the points as the field goal unit heads out looks as if this will be a 51 yd attempt it's good and with that they break the seal on the score in it's three nothing this is a team that really Prides themselves on starting fast we've seen that before and here they are playing at home today nice job on the opening drive lots of poise good emotion they don't get the touchdown they would have liked but they kick a nice field goal they've got the lead that coach has to be happy with that so after the last Drive ended with a field goal the kickoff team out there to send it away he'll bring it back from inside his SP and the tackle is made on the return man but there is a flag on the play return so the decision has been made and the coach will take the penalty offense set on first down now they'll run the draw Jukes his way for more and he's able to shed one tackle and gets a pretty good pickup the Blazers moving quickly to the line man when I can run the the football like that on first down and create second and inches and and stay way ahead of the sticks and and be in a position now where I can throw the football or run I will have a lot of success on the offensive side of the football the offense lines up at the 41 with a first and 10 the just outstanding execution continuing to work his way back through the football yeah and everything about this route looks vertical The Comeback it looks like it's a go I'm thinking speed and then he sets it down QB puts the ball in the money and he makes the play when you're going to run a comeback route you've got to sell like you're going deep and that was a great job there by the receiver really making that corner think he was running deep down the field so he got the corner to turn his hips turn his shoulders and then the receiver was able to just pivot around and make it an easy passing catch now on second down after the incompletion looking to throw it again got it in the middle it's Thomas and he'll haul it in and take it to the Endzone touchdown UAV UAV he does a really nice job getting the snap getting the ball to his wide receiver in stride so he continue to run full speed and make all those yards after the catch and get all the way to the end zone lining up to tack one more onto that lead disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 guys we'll see what this war hawk offense can get done this time man how comforting is it to know that even if your offense stalls out a little Jesse that field goal kicker can knock it in from a long way out well he's one of the best in the country re no doubt but this offense would like him and prefer for him to kick an extra point on this drive and to do that David they've got to have more Rhythm on offense yeah create some more Rhythm create some more explosive plays and maybe some more balance and listen it's nice to have that weapon and kick long field goals if you kick too many field goals you don't get very many W's the big gain on offense and the play will stand the offense to finds the penalty movement here from the tight [Applause] end he'll pull it on the read a run up the middle is stuck for no gain and now on second down for this offense looking to pass it's booty fires left all kinds of room to throw that one in there oh and the defense in Chase mode and they finally get him down at the 35 they'll run it from the gun and he's able to find a little bit of Running Room before they to get one more snap off before the two-minute warning a confident tough efficient run gets it up to the 44 we reached the two-minute warning and we have ourselves a ball game and they have a chance to take the lead here before the half plows through the defense they'll get it to the 48 no need to measure it a first down clock stops momentarily for the first down they'll hurry to the line got him looking run he wants to throw catch inside the 25 and he's brought down after a huge completion this defense knows they have to do a better job tackling on that play there too many Miss tackles on the wide out it leads to an explosive play and all of a sudden they're in their own Red Zone pocket starts a collapse and the rush will get to him at the 25 and what an awesome response from the defense you give up a huge play the play before and what do you come back you come back and you get pressure on the quarterback and you get him on the ground before he can make another big play these guys are bringing serious heat they are like sharks swarming and just getting after the passer throw into the end zone and it's picked off and they'll drag him down after a good return on the interception most defenses are lucky if you have one good covering Corner fewer are lucky if you have two they've got three DBS three corners that can play at the same time in their nickel package that they feel can go mono imano with anyone in the country and you saw it on that last play coming away with the pick UAB has the ball back ready to send the offense out to go to work last time David it was one two three kick last drive that three and out sometimes that puts your defense in a bad spot and you got to get a drive together here so you don't wear the defense out I just think David too predictable that has this offense rolling with a first down fresh set of downs after the completion he's going to pass the short hands it's Jacobs good pick up there as he gets the first down and they'll Mark him at the 48 the Blazers come to the line with a new set of downs he's looking to throw it unloads it left he makes a catch just what they were looking for for and he's got him set up in business at the 35 with a first down that's a first down for the off he wants to throw quarterback feeling that pressure and he's knocked down at the 42 the offense will stop the clock and use one of its timeouts the first down sack pushes the ball back for this long second down pressure coming good timing on the quick out and he'll step out of bounds as for a very productive play if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum they're trying to get to it he'll just throw it away and it'll be fourth down here comes the field goal unit as they'll try to take the three looks as if this will be a 51 yd attempt and it's right down the boulevard now there is a flag down on the play but when you knock through a field goal from that and you're not going to get the first down think you just keep your points this offense plenty happy enough with the result of that play So they just let the official put that flag back in his pocket and decline the penalty on the run from inside his own five able to find enough room to get it out across the 25 he's brought down at the 26 running out of time here in the first half they're going to have to be efficient to put some points on the board before the break they'll use a timeout right before halftime maybe time for one or two more plays just enough time to get off one final play of the half throws to the wide out the pass turning in a big pickup and moving the s for a first down defenses throughout the week study every third down situation you got to be ready for what they do how they do it and then be able to adjust great job by the offense so far having success they can rely on this guy to pick up solid yardage when they need and he's out to the 43 he wants to throw here on second down got it in the middle it's Thomas and they'll finally bring him down after he rips off a huge play for the off he got a hand in there knocked it away incomplete the incomplete pass leaves him with second down give to the brings it in down the left side and they were looking for a chunk play and they got it the explosive picks up more than 30 and this defense is going to have their hands full because they're going to need to be comfortable with guys one-on-one on islands in the perimeter of the field and they're just going to have to make better plays than what we saw right there they knew this offense was going to try to be aggressive got to need better effort in the back end for this defense the big pickup on first down leaves him with second and one second down they go right back to it and he's brought to the ground but not before he gets enough for the first down the warhawks come to the line with a fresh set of downs they're threatening to score and they'll throw it unleashes to the end zone and he can't quite make the connection as he was trying to pay off this Red Zone opportunity and the incompletion brings up a second down for this offense quarterback Quick Pass to the receiver he's there to make the Stop and they threw it in reverse losing yardage on that play seventh play of the drive coming up but a long way to go on third down setting up the screen and that did not work defense ball about to kick it away after scoring the touchdown and he takes this from inside the five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 UAB regains possession of the Blazer offense back onto the field he want that clock to run nowhere to run on that one he loses four on the carry and negative play to open the Drive let's see what they've got on and keep time on their side ging the field it's Zeno quick completion on the out third he steps out of bounds but it will be enough for a first down and the Blazers come to the line with a new set of as possible they're getting this guy lathered up getss it all the way down to the 39 yd line it'll be a first down defense uses a timeout quickly trying to get that ball back and preserve time for their offense quarterback flips it ahead quickly to the receiver and these little touch passes man they're just the easiest completions ever for quarterbacks Palmer I bet you would have loved being able to just Flip It Forward that counts as to your completion percentage which is is good and then it's all run after the catch so pretty easy for a QB you wouldn't have been the only allamerican in this booth David if I were allowed to have Push passes when I was playing for I tell you that it is so hard to defend and so hard to seal that edge especially when this guy's Full Speed Ahead coming around the one side on Third and long try to convert through the air and it's knocked away downfield the DB getting a hand in there so here we are on fourth down and this field goal kicker is going to all the pressure in the world that thing would have hit a spring in the middle of the uprights perfect well that's a huge kick right there because now the opponent has to score a touchdown here in the fourth quarter that put so much pressure on the opponent now nice job by the Special Teams going out and executing in a big Mone [Music] first order of business here don't give up a big return then the defense just has to keep them out of the end zone here he comes from inside his own five nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their Lane and they'll stop him at the 16 U Monroe has it back on the offense ready to go to work grabbed over the middle it's Smith and just a short safe pass play they pick up a few clock's running and they'll try to get to the line warped speed for second down got to get everybody lined up quickly time winding away and they've got to push the ball down the field to the air it's booty throws to the tight end another incompletion on third down it's a one-or game late and they've got to go for it on fourth down desperate to convert and he'll throw it throws to the back complete out of the back field looking for the sticks now they've got a little room to work with they're out to the 28 with a first down double time hustling to the line to stop the clock they've got to move quickly here still a chance but they've got to force the ball down the field on second down he'll fire feeling some heat and he can't get it off taken down what a huge play this late in the game third to the line quickly they'll spike it to save some time trailing by a possession they need to keep the ball they'll try to convert on fourth down he'll go up top maybe a deciding play here he's going up top here late in the game and he reels it in inside the 30 and they
