and down he goes at the 38 man it didn't take long for the defense to get home on that play you see them playing man coverage in the back end slowing down the routes from the receivers and the rest of the offense that forced the quarterback to have to hold on to it for just a split second longer than they were able to get the sack pressure coming and he feels the heat coming and it burns him up another sack that is not an easy situation if you're an offensive line and second and third and long because you know the D line they're coming they know you're throwing the football as an O Leman you better get out of your stance and get your hands up and punch and not miss is and this defense is bringing the heat another sack this was one of the keys to the game could this quarterback could he extend plays and then make throws and scramble situations that time the defense was able to get to him and bring him down for a huge loss you'd think they would have had a good chance to down that one deep but the bounce carries it into the end zone for the Touchback offense set on first down 2 jump wide receiver shows motion off the play fake on first down to throw unloads it downfield it's complete a huge pickup well nice job hauling that pass in I'll tell you he keeps defenses on their heels he really does his speed is so scary and I think back to my days in college we used to play first quarter we've reached the end of the first quarter and it has been a defensive battle and the stats tell the tal so far let's see if the offenses can find a little rhythm here in the second here to try to get off that third down play from the gun wants to pass on the Run fires downfield he's got an open man he's there to make the stop but not before he sets up this offense first and goal from the seven yeah and you see some quarterbacks who hesitate to throw the ball over the middle I love it when you attack the whole field and the middle of the field and being able to throw over linebackers and between safeties is a big skill but show that defense you're you will attack everywhere snap in the shotgun they're bringing nowhere to go and the ball is loose and the defense has got in there trying to pick up some yards and that is exactly how you draw it up you get to the quarterback but you get the football out you hit him you try to rake it out great job by the defense getting the sack getting the fumble slips one guy and now he's loose and they'll finally catch up to him but not before a big chunk of yardage is picked up how a defense I got to find a way to get some more pressure on the quarterback or disrupt their timing and their Rhythm I can't give them these big chunk plays through the air I got to be maybe a little bit more aggressive or do something a little he's going to let one fly down the middle and it goes through his hands oh he had an explosive play right there for the taking but couldn't reel it in now on second down after the incompletion wants to throw it's aangal now he's going to break the pocket working that left side now and I like what the quarterback did to finish the Run he buys a little bit of time scrambles out to his left and as a right-handed quarterback you really understand you got to square those shoulders while you're running which can be difficult if you want to throw an accurate throw like he did right there the seminal get enough for the first down this is a guy that can find you the hidden yardage that play he just pushes the pile to get that first down they'll throw it on first down complete to the right they plays if things keep trending in this direction you can bet a ton of those backs and receivers are going to spend a lot of time in ice baths before the end of the day with that said let's send it back a a scoreless game through three periods it's easy to think back to 2014 Wake Forest Virginia Tech the last time we had a game go into overtime as a scoreless tie let's see if that's the way this one goes as we start the fourth they'll break the seal on this quarter here on first down running back searching for a hole at the 45 on it way drills him with the stiff arm big big gain on that one as he steps out of bounds with a first down you count up those explosive plays in a game and you put a little extra Star by the big run yeah and this running back is a weapon boy he is so good in space he's got shiftiness he can make guys miss and if this guy gets into the second level watch out he can hit a home run another incompletion and I've said that a lot and these teams are just struggling I mean the offense just doesn't know what to do nothing's working ground game Throw game it's kind of been a rock fight on both sides at the 20 he's got space he's run out of bounds but not before turning in a big pickup and moving the sticks for a first down and the simal come to the line with a fresh set of downs and the pressure will get there the sack down he goes in the waiting moments that could be a costly play that's a play the defense needed right it's been a battle all game long here we are it's late everybody's tired they've given up a few yards on this drive but they come away with a huge sack at a big moment now the offense has to overcome the negative play after the defense comes up with a sack the give to the backat and he'll step out of bounds after a very productive play they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one wide receiver now comes in motion on third down going up top he's got it on the Run touchdown Florida State they've got the lead here in the fourth number getting aggressive here and going for two back to throw it's aangal l they'll wrap him up and he didn't find the same kind of Running Room this time as he did on the previous play about to kick it off after punching it in for the [Applause] touchdown takes it inside the 25 chance for great field position and they'll get him on the ground as the offense comes out to start the next Drive Line gets set first down they'll start this drive with a pass find his tight end and the big fella couldn't elude the cornerback who makes a sure tackle the hurry up now second down clock kicking he's looking to throw and he got smacked just as he released the pass it's incomplete they've got to move quickly here still a chance but they've got to force the ball down the field shotgun snap on third down and he can't find anyone open and down he goes a sack here late in the fourth on fourth down they'll try to throw it ball in the air intercepted he was looking for Running Room but they get him down at the 28 and now they are set up great spot to start this drive for the offense [Applause] quick hand off got some room enter to the goal line and he gets it into the end zone for the touchdown and it's not just a touchdown it is a dagger in this game that is exactly what you want your offense to do you want it to eat clock but if you score go up by two possessions nail meat call often great execution by this offense to put this game away here comes the two-point try looking to throw it's OU angal makes the grab in the end zone for the two as they extend the lead that's exactly what you want to do when you have that type of feel position strike quickly and they did one play and they put it on the board about to kick it away after scoring the [Music] [Applause] this game you're trying to claw back into it why not take a shot why not be aggressive in that time they just can't come up with a completion and here we go final play of the game right here easy on
