syllables Blake Snell Chris S just unbelievable endless KS there might be no hotter pitcher on the planet right now than Blake Snell but Chris is now the runaway favorite for the nlsa Young Award I know you uh watched every second this game Ninja what stood out about it to you oh my God this was pitchy Ninja Heaven this is exactly why I watch baseball the two top pitchers in Major League history in K per9 facing off against each other really kind of at the height of their powers right now and it did not disappoint Chris S had 12 strikeouts in seven scoreless Innings given up only three hits he just dominated with his fast balls mostly his sliders he picked up a sword with his slider had several back door sliders had this absolute Wipeout slider not only that but he showed off some fancy glove work catching this 104 mph comebacker that I'm convinced the force of the ball itself spun him around and knocked them to the ground because Chris S weighs like 50 pounds and still throw thr gas and ninja I'm not a homosexual man but something about Chris s's smile here just I dude he retired 21 of the last 23 hitters he faced in this game just absolute dominance from Chris S this is an Old School pitcher duel where dude just laid it on the line fought Blake Snell blow for blow Blake Snell had 11 strikeouts in six and a third scoreless Innings giving up only two hits he has the fourth lowest batting average of over a seven game stretch in Major League Baseball history at 0.097 sh Otani Jacob deg Grom and Johan Santana are the only ones above him in a seven game stretch is a 99 ER over his last seven starts he just was filthy yesterday with curveballs and Sliders wicked stuff this is the first time in a pitcher duel that two pitchers have allowed no runs and each had 10 or more strikeouts and three or fewer hits in baseball history and the Braves ended up winning this game one to nothing I think this was the defining moment for Chris s's first sa Young Award he's gotta win this thing like just absolute dominance when the Braves needed it after screwing up the day before this was huge for them he knew it and he gave it his absolute best effort just fantastic stuff I
